I am a vet assistant, and I see all kinds of animals coming in with different skin conditions or allergies and always felt so bad for them and their owners….. then I got a dog with allergies and then I found out what it's really like…. it is devastating watching your dog itch and scratch to the point of pulling their hair out, then when the hair is gone… then there goes their skin…. they will make themselves bleed and still won't stop. I tried benadryl I tried EVERYTHING, had to even do skin antibiotics and steroid Injections and still he was itching…. so… the dr tried him on this….. now… first thing I will say is this medication isn't cheap especially for bigger dogs (if you have a 10lbs dog it's not going to be too bad) but my poor dog had to start off taking 2 16mg 2 times a day and it was roughly 300 for the first month, however from there you taper down and after a few months I got him down to half a tablet once daily…. anyway…. this medication worked like a dream for him. He hasn't had any issues for over a year now and although sometimes he scratches its more of a normal itch. This medication literally saved him and my sanity. I've used these before in a cup style packaging. These larger quantity cone in a bag. The products work great and help my lab stop scratching. But the 4 bags I ordered were smashed into a small shipping bag with very little protection. When the product arrived I noticed the was A LOT of broken pieces and the bottom of the bag is full of granules from other broken bits too. my dog has been on this for a few months but buying it through my vet, while convenient was really pricy. Pet Meds is helping us save money on something he likely needs to be on for a long time. His condition is an auto immune called cutaneous histeocytosis and it affected his eyesight by forming lipid deposits on his eyes which rendered our two year old dog virtually blind. On this drug his life has been restored and his vision too. We had a follow up last week and the specialists and I were very pleased at his progress so far. My Sunshine has been suffering for years with itchiness and toes swollening and getting infected to the point of puss coming out. She even loss toe nails, she was also loosing hair in patches on the sides and back. We tried everything the vet gave nothing and they even sent us to a specialist that just did this sort of thing. She told us allergies ( dull like we didn't know that). Her solution was cutting off one of my Sunshine toes and send it to be tested. I was like are you crazy. No way. Finally we found someone told us that her allergies causes her toes to get infected from her licking them so much. So, she developed nail bed infection which is one of the hardest things to get rid of on a dogs feet we was told. Well, as you know more meds and creams alittle relief but didn't last. I was researching again come across them meds. I called my vet and told him about it and asked if he would approve it when I ordered it off pet med. He agreed and told me to keep him up to date. She has only been on these 2 months and fur is filling in she's not licking and scratching herself raw. FINALLY!!! SOMETHING HELPED HER TOES. Recieved a 3oz bottle of Vetericyn Plus Hotspot Antimicrobial Hydrogel for free in exchange for an honest review. I have to say, this stuff is amazing! My lab/beagle mix suffers from skin allergies, and the poor thing will scratch and chew herself until she bleeds, so I was very eager to try this product. The day I received it, I rubbed down her belly with it (this is where she itches the most) and it seemed like she felt instant relief. When she starts scratching, I apply a thin layer of the gel and she stops almost immediately. And it lasts for hours! I love that it is a non-toxic alternative to antibiotics and steroids for a safer way to relieve skin, and vet approved. My cat seems to have a habit of biting her fur off, usually after I have put flea medication on her. We have discovered she is a bit allergic to ingredients in most flea medication. My poor pupper got irritated paws from horrible ginko berries smashed all over the fall ground and then made them worse by licking. They were so red and I felt so bad. This product is on the shelf next to a dozen others that claim to do the same thing, but I didn't get to it until three others didn't get the job done. This showed visible improvement within a day. Bonus that he didn't lick it off – before I tried this I would combo an antimicrobial with one of those "bitter taste dogs hate" sprays, but my dog is weird and loved those things and would lick them like crazy. I'd have to wrap his paws and watch him like a hawk. Not so with this! He stays away from it so it can work…bonus points bc spray plus consistency is easy application. My standard poodle suffers from outdoor allergies. After battling them all summer the vet just said to double up on benadryl. I felt like I was drugging my dog. I saw an ad for these chews and thought it would be a better option to at least give it a try. My boy wasn't sure about the taste the first day and I had to wrap it in cheese. The second day, and every day since, he's gobbled it right down just like a treat! To test the results I totally stopped the benadryl and only gave him these chews. He only showed minor symptoms a couple of different occassions in which I went ahead and gave him a single dose of bendryl as needed. But the majority of days were symptom free (his biggest symptom is chewing his paws) and no benadryl needed. What's even better? He thinks it's a treat and it has shown no negative side effects 🙂 I will continue to purchase as long as thry appear to be helping my boy.Silverbullet875
Wow is right, because I am floored at how well this works! I have 2 pups with horrible allergies – one that nothing else works for. I've tried all different meds, including shots, and she still suffered horribly during allergy season. I reluctantly decided to try this, but we were in the middle of allergy season, and watching her suffer is just too much. Fast forward to July 2019, and my order came in the mail. I gave two of the chewables to my pup the next morning, not expecting much, but just hoping that there would at least be a little relief. Much to my surprise, she didn't scratch AT ALL that day!! I was still skeptical, but same results the next day, the day after that, etc. It has now been over a month, and she STILL doesn't even have any break through scratching, NO MORE scabs, NO MORE pulling out her hair in spots! Pet Parents Allergy Supplement is wonderful! My dogs have less skin and eye irritation and can enjoy outdoor excursions during summer (allergy) season. It's great that it comes in Salmon flavor since one of my Shih Tzus has a chicken allergy. This really makes a difference for their ears, eyes, and skin. I had high hopes for this to work with my year old lab. He suffers from outdoor allergies. I felt like this product made it worst for him. He was itching like crazy. As soon as I stopped giving these supplements, his itching subsided but yet still scratching, so off again I go to look for something to help with his allergies. I bought this oil for a new addition, a senior dog who is blind, deaf & itchy, with some loss of coat. It helps with her itching, BUT the product turned to a very thick, gloppy mess that resisted being pumped in very short order after opening. That the product has to be shaken well before every use needs to be more prominent, & shaking it causes the oil to escape the pump & fly everywhere. The following opinions are 100% authentic and my own. I really feel confident giving my dogs PetHonesty Multivitamins because not only are the ingredients safe and natural, but they have 10 health benefits, all of which are listed on the packaging! My dogs did seem a bit uninterested at first but after alternating these with a treat I KNOW they eat, they were finally able to give these multivitamins chews a go, and they seem to be okay with them. I was a little concerned with just how many products they carry all looking the same but yet with a different label. So I contacted the company asking them if they did a third-party independent lab analysis on all of their products and I was happy to hear that they said they did. But then when I asked if those results were available to the public they told me no. Why would you do a third-party independent lab on your products and then not allow the public to request a copy or post them. As with human supplements, animal supplements are not regulated like human products. These companies can get away with putting just about anything they want in a jar and slapping a label on it telling you whatever they want is in the product. I ordered 3 jars of the Allergy Immunity chews and 1 jar of the Allergy Skin Health. dog would not eat the chews. They smell awful and they must have tasted exactly like they smelled because he spit them out every time I gave him a chew. I even tried masking the taste with peanut butter, but he licked the peanut butter off and left the chew. The only way I could get him to eat the chew is if I wrapped it in chicken, and sometimes he would eat the chicken and still spit out the chew. It was so frustrating. I emailed the company and told them the situation. They told me to send back the 2 unopened jars and to donate the open jars or throw them away. After sending back the unopened jars they said that they are only replacing 2 jars even though I purchased 4.
This ordeal has been frustrating.

I bought these tablets about a week ago to help with my pup's allergies. I started out with the soft chews which also worked but I switched to these tablets due to higher amount of Quercetin and includes Vitamin C. My pup seems to like these tablets just as much as the soft chews. He has significantly reduced his scratching in the week I have been using these. I will continue to use in hopes of completely stop scratching. Also, tablets are a little big and may need to be broken down for smaller dogs.IPLuvMyPup
Each time I order these vitamins and when they are subsequently delivered, the pills are different sizes. Sometimes they are very large tablets, other times they are smaller rounded tablets.
