I bought this first time for Pnut (Peanut). It made him nutty and neurotic. It did something horrendous to him. He did great with "calming" chews that have suntheanine (an amino acid) I saved it away in a drawer… this stuff lasts for years because it is a tincture with glycerine. Pnut died. Destroyed me and then I got two more cats. On stressful opp I pulled it out and wow.. it was miraculous. My third cat will eat food with it on it, but he neither gets neurotic nor zens out. Great fitting harness and the adjustable neck section is great . I've had other harnesses in the past and whilst they fit my English Staffordshire around the body I found they got to a point where they were difficult to get on and off over his big lump of a head . I have a 70lb Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless). I purchased both the Hurtta Cooling Coat and the Swamp Cooler Dog Vest by Ruffwear. Both are made from similar material and work the same way. The Hurtta coat has much more coverage, has extended hind end flaps and front chest flaps, resembles a horse jacket. Whereas the Ruffwear is more of a fitted vest. I would have given the Hurtta Cooling Coat 5 stars however, the stitching that secured the chest strap isn't reinforced and tore out of the material the first time used. I then outfitted the dog in the Ruffwear Swamp Vest, which worked beautifully. Since my dog is hairless it was easy to feel how well the vest worked. Placing my hand on exposed skin, then touching skin under the vest, there was a noticeable difference in temperature however his skin was dry – just cooler. I have stitched the Hurtta strap back on and feel it will be equally as good if not better than the Ruffwear due to it's increased surface area.Laura
Got a *very similar* Puppia mesh harness for my chi that was adjustable on the shoulders rather than pulling over her head. The harness was comfortable on her and held up well, but the buckles on the shoulders just made it too bulky. So I would definitely recommend the ones without the extra buckles.

If you have a kid who loves the idea of cleaning up a pet, this is the toy for you. You soak the toy and it unfolds into an animal. Predictably you then have to wait for it to dry or throw it in the dryer. Not great for an impatient kid. Once dry you have to brush it out really well. It is not very fluffy like you might expect. My kids are 3 and 4 years old and this puppy did not get played with very much after the initial new toy excitement phase. The leash was easy for both of them to pull out and click back in and was long enough for them to actually use to push this puppy. I had to help put the belt with the treat, toy and water bowl holder on frequently for them as it was not easy for them to do alone. I thought it was neat that the water spoon was interactive and that you could pet it's head but nothing else reacted to it. I felt like it was stuck in the original demo mode and as you walk it this one just constantly asks for a walk, water or to pat my head. They push it a few feet and it asks the same question again. The dog is cute, I really thought it’d be a hit. The excitement of this wore off quickly though. My little one hasn’t played with it in days and we’ve only had it for 2 weeks. To be honest though, I don’t mind. The songs that this dog has, seem to have been written with absolutely no thought. There’s one song that ends with walkie walkie walk walk walk… or something to this effect. It’s like they couldn’t figure out what to fill in here and just gave up. The songs in general seem to all have been written with the same amount of care… which feels like none. This being said, the dog is well made. It seems like it would hold up to lots of play. I have a three year old and an 18 month old who absolutely love this dog. It has a ton of different songs which I love. When the leash is on the dog, it has a cute song about walking the dog which my kiddos love to hear. I do wish the leash stayed in better, because it tends to get dislodged easily and I have to help my kiddos put it back in. I also wish it was easier to push the dog as we have carpet in our apartment. My LO’s do get a little frustrated with how difficult it is to push the dog, but the still love to play with it. The toys that come with it such as the dog bone and water bowl my kids don’t really utilize that much. They tend to only play with the dog and the leash. Overall my kid seems to love it and are playing with consistently even after 1.5 months…so this is a win in my book.Mama91

The Little Tikes Rescue Tales Golden Retriever is a toy that will absolutely tug at your little one's heartstrings! My daughter loves that this pup came ready to go in his cardboard dog house– and LOVED turning his house inside out and coloring it. She loves interacting with this pup in her vet center. My little one was so excited when she opened the box and saw the cute little fluffy white puppy. She couldn't wait to open it up and start to play with it. She's pretty much played with it everyday since she opened it. She loves to cuddle with the puppy, comb the puppy and put in the puppy's hair barrettes and carry in the puppy around in it's backpack . Our soon to be 5 year old really had fun with her new little live pet. She loves the idea she can wash them and then blow dry and brush afterwards. They are super soft and fluffy as long as you blow dry after being wet. If you don’t dry well we noticed the hair clumps together.
