I love this gate because it's perfect for containing little dogs (mine is 15 lbs.) and it's easy for me to step over. This is the fourth one I've ordered. I just got a new puppy who isn't house trained, AND he tries to run out the front door every chance he gets. After chasing him through the neighborhood three times, I put one of these gates up between my front door and my screen door. I bought this first time for Pnut (Peanut). It made him nutty and neurotic. It did something horrendous to him. He did great with "calming" chews that have suntheanine (an amino acid) I saved it away in a drawer… this stuff lasts for years because it is a tincture with glycerine. Pnut died. The only reason why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because it took a little longer than expected for these to kick in. My dog has terrible anxiety and when it storms, she shakes and pants heavily and just paces everywhere. I had to look for something because her behavior was becoming so bad, I couldn't control her and she's normally well behaved. I saw the reviews and ordered these. I gave her two due to her size and after about half an hour, the shaking and heavy breathing stopped. She became so calm. I should have gotten these a long time ago! I use them when I travel with my dogs too. My dogs only use their crates for sleeping in at night or napping in during the day. During the day, their crate doors are left open. I close the dogs in at night. I don't have an issue with my dogs trying to escape from their crates, so I can't speak to whether or not this would be sturdy enough for a dog that's determined to get out of their crate. These crates are more than sturdy enough for my miniature Schnauzer, Havanese, and Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. All three of my dogs love their MidWest iCrates, as did my previous dog! They go in them voluntarily and when told to "crate up". My only concern with the current crate I ordered is that that one of the latches isn't lined up quite right so it's a bit tight when closing the crate door. I bent it slightly and it works much better. I haven't had that issue with any of the previous MidWest crates I've used. I'm a MidWest crate fan.Eddie09

We bought this in April 2022 for our Rhodesian Ridgeback mix puppy. He was weeks old when we rescued him. He was a Parvo pup and barely survived, so rest and his own quiet space was highly recommended for recovery. We first used the divider which was great. However, as he grew, so did his strength. It definitely is not strong enough for large dogs. Even for short amounts of time. At the moment he is 6 months and 60 pounds. Thankfully he did not get out nor hurt himself! My avid little mouser cat caught herself a little prize just a few days before a month-prior planned trip my husband and i were unavoidably about to go to. Apparently that mouse had bitten her back in the process, right on her tender little lip cleft! Before we knew it, that bite had gotten infected so bad she became lethargic, her face swollen an angry shade of red, she could not eat or even drink on her own and she could not even close her mouth and was drooling on herself. Because of the covid situation and proximity of timing to our trip to see family, there was no way to get her to a vet in time before we had to leave in 3-4 days. So we did the best we could with a dropper to feed and water her and rushed out to get Vetericyn to help stave off the infection which reduced the angry redness to a healthier pinkish. For the very few days we had before we had to go, I was keeping her hydrated and was spraying her face with the Vetericyn regularly (as directed) even as we headed out the door with one last treatment. We did cut our weekend trip short by a day out of concern for her, but when we came back she was doing significantly better in that the swelling was down, but was reddened again. Back to the spray treatment, make sure she got dropper-watered, and by that evening she was gingerly back to parking in her 'askance' spot hoping for bits of our chicken dinner! I fully believe that had we not gotten Vetericyn and treated her with it in the few days prior to leaving that we wouldn't still have her today. Using this for hot spots on my canine, this stuff does work but it sometimes can take up to 2 8oz. Bottles to heal the area's treated. Not sure if it's the strength of medicine or just those stubborn spots. I caught the spots early on and started treating them immediately and have been treating them for a month now and they are getting better but slowly, these things are stubborn. I can say that absolutely nothing else I tried worked. Believe it or not, I read online the other day that rubbing Pepto Bismol on hot spots actually works, you heard right, Pepto Bismol. I haven't had the nerve to try it as I thought it could just be some nut trying to infect your pet even worse. Everything about buying, assembling, and using our second Revol crate (we purchased our first, a Medium, last spring), was excellent, and our pup loves her new bigger digs. The company’s communication about the status of our pre-order was superb—well-timed, clear, and accurate. We weren’t expecting two boxes (I probably missed the detail in one of the emails), so were surprised when the second box arrived a few days after the first and only then noticed Box 1 on the first box. It would have been better if the box labeling had said Box 1 of 2 and Box 2 of 2, but that’s a quibble. The packaging did its job well and the instructions were both charming and easy to follow. The ONLY product design flaw in our opinion involves the last step of assembly: Handling and attaching the teeny-tiny screws in the four bottom corners. The allen wrench is ridiculously small (even for a woman’s hands), and getting the screws into their holes is incredibly difficult, from just getting them into the holes to fully tightening them. The placement of the screws, especially such small screws on an otherwise very large object, is i credibly awkward. Upshot: The holes are hard to reach because of the close proximity of the crate sides. It’s also hard to imagine that such tiny screws accomplish much of anything on such a large object. But that is our only negative criticism/observation. The product is overall superb—wildly expensive, yes, but very attractive and sturdy and safe. I love the design and the customer service of the diggs crate. I had the medium slate gray size crate which is amazing in looks and design. I love how easy the front door opens. The medium size garage door I found to be not usable the way it folds in and up. I love the color and the design over all. I then ordered the large white crate when they came out with it. Again I loved the color and the look of it. I didn't like that they charged my card before I got the crate, nor did I like the price of the crate but they are the best crates on the market that I have seen so far. The large crate that I got the other day did have a large dent in the base which only effects the looks. For the price it would have been great to get the crate in mint shape. Their customer service is amazing so I might put in a call to them. The directions to put the large crate together could have been a little clearer about the ceiling or top of the crate. If you put it on the wrong way the garage door can't be put and I had to take it off and turn it around. This could be a lot clearer in the directions. Once I got it together I found the design on the large crate to be better for the garage door and I should be able to use it now but not as sturdy on the 4 pillars. I'm not crazy about the plastic inserts they look to fragile like they can easily break. I also found them hard to get in. Maybe I'm just spoiled since the medium crate was designed better and was put together when it was delivered. If either the medium crate or the large crate are in your budget they really are beautiful crates and I'm really glad I purchased them. I also bought the snooze beds and again the price is high but they are quality made. I'm still waiting for my large size snooze bed but I'd imagine I will get it soon.donna G.

I have a 30lb puppy who is expected to be closer to 50lbs when she’s an adult. I bought the intermediate crate. This crate is designed beautifully. It gets a lot of complements when people visit. It feels like a sturdy crate and the quality seems generally good save for a few joints on the front and back which got stuck for me. However, assembling it was a little difficult (they do recommend you have 2 people)—even inserting and removing the puppy divider is not easy. Taking it anywhere is impossible. It’s too long to fit in a standard sedan’s trunk. Also lifting it into the car (whether trunk or backseat) requires 2 people as well. Not convenient unless you live with other people. I think I’m going to wind up having to buy a wire crate anyways in order to travel with her. Also fwiw, this crate is the only crate she’s known (in our house) but she often prefers our friend’s dog’s wire crate haha. We wonder if part of it is the revol crate is tall whereas the large wire crate feels cozier so it’s something to consider. If you’re just looking for an aesthetic crate for your home, this is a nice choice. But if you’re looking for utility and multi-use for travel (and are interested in the intermediate or large size) just know you will need to buy a second travel crate or own an SUV.Elizabeth C.

I received the box and after putting the playpen together, I noticed it had a chunk missing out of one of the sections on the top. It didn't really matter in the grand scheme of how it operated, but it was a tad unsightly…and of course it was brand new. I sent an email to the company and suggested that a new panel would be a good option instead of sending the whole thing back if it was something they could do. I was crossing my fingers because I wasn't looking forward to taking it apart. It wasn't a big deal to put together at all, I just hate to take things apart that I'm proud of completing (small wins are still wins). IRIS took care of things and shipped out a whole new box! We bought two of these to connect together into a large square, added chicken wire with a PVC support across the top and tied it all down, and made it into a chicken tractor. It is light and easy to move around the yard with 2 people. Our hens get to run around and dig a big more than in their coop and run, and its mobility keeps them from wearing out a patch of lawn. We got this because we had a fox take out two of our hens in 10 days. The interesting thing is that the fox has still come around. My husband had caught him several times sitting within a few feet of the pen and just watching the hens. He made no attempt to get inside to them. We think this is because he's smart and knows it's a container that HE could also get trapped inside of. He stopped coming around after about 2 weeks, but we've seen him on other people's property. We'd never go off and leave the hens in it– it would easy to dig into if the fox really wanted to do so– but it's been a great way to allow the hens some space and scratch time since we don't feel it's safe to free-range them any more. I can NOT see this being feasible for dogs unless they are very small breeds. They'd jump right over or knock it down. We have a 3 y.o. lab mix who jumped in and out of it continually while we were putting it together, and a beagle-boxer mix (who is beagle-sized) who did the same– and she is 13 years old and not young and springy like the other! But for our hens, it's perfect. We're considering buying 2 more to make another tractor for them for when we sit up by our pond on summer evenings so they can dig around up there, too.wkuviolet

Wife found young cat in drain at work. She took it home. A few weeks ago she got underneath vehicle and jumped down while we were driving down the street. She had her tail and rear end run over. We took her to the vet, she was bleeding heavy. They patched her up and gave her meds, sent her home and said see if she makes it. Thankfully she is making a recovery, but she is not able to lift her tail or control her bladder or ****. Wife searched online, found mostly dog diapers, but came across this site. All I can say is the diaper does a good job of holding my blood. We finally gave up after about the 10th time. Maybe our cat is a wild one, but she was having no part of this. I thought that since she was injured we would have no problems. Also tried when she was sleepy. I think I need to search for a cat diaper holding pen! I bought small for my mini dachshund and medium for my beagle. Both were perfect fit. I found they are great for occasional incontinence but they wet through quickly and sag, making them very easy to slip out of. Daisy, our 16 year old beagle, wrestled her way out of them repeatedly. After some trial and error, we found the perfect solution. We use Poise pads inside the diaper (disposable pads used for human incontinency issues) and mitten clips to attach them to her harness! I'm about to order another set in the pretty fall Lodge colors. Very happy to have saved my floors and my sanity. Great product. We absolutely LOVE the Belly Bands! My 12.5 yo boy was peeing on the floor in the kitchen during the night and it made me crazy! I was about ready to start crating him at night, like I did when he was a puppy and house training. As a last ditch effort to having crates in the house again, I got the Belly Bands and Diapers, and the bands fit and work GREAT!! But the diapers in the same size, are too big and come off! My Lurcher Heidi had to have a mammary tumour removed. She was terrified wearing an Elizabethan collar. So I got her a Buster collar but being long nosed Sighthound and with a flexable neck she could reach her stitches. The "Suitical" vest I got her from D forDog was absoulutley amazing. For toileting I just un-did the press studs and took her back legs out of the garment and rolled the Suitical back to her shoulders. The next size up fits my dog well, although it seems to have something pokey that bothers her tummy when she wears it. I'm going to have to look and see if there is a piece of stitching poking her. So I purchased this to be able to give my dog more frequent bathes rather than 1 every month or so. I took him into the bathroom so there was less room for him to try and escape. Laid down a beach towel and turned on the machine. It was actually quite quiet and my dog wasn't bothered by it. It took a few minutes but then he seemed to relax and started enjoying it. It left him damp but not soaked. So no water shaking was involved which was a huge plus. When his hair was damp I couldn't smell the shampoo and I was wondering if I put enough in or if I was actually doing it right. But as soon as he completely dried , his fur was soft and had a fresh pleasant scent. Only con I found which is not a huge problem, but it was an inconvenience especially since I just got my dog comfortable is that the dirty water tank filled up quickly which it didn't seem like a lot but the machine gives off this noise so you know it's no shaking any more water up.

Having 2 large hairy dogs (Husky and Malamute) I new this may be the best way to help with keeping the dogs clean. We have quite a few Bissell systems and they have never disappointed us and the Barkbath is no different. Easy to set up and use lots of attachments and really not as noisey as I thought it may be. The no mix shampoo is a great idea and works really well for giving our dogs a good clean. We did slowly break in the unit to both dogs as they were not into load noises, and just after a few minutes with brushing them with the unit off, they were both eager to let us use the system with it turned on. Again simple instructions and set up, just load the shampoo, turn the unit on, check your nozzel and selected attachment, start brushing, push the trigger to dispense the shampoo and clean away. This product was something I was very excited to try, and hopeful that it would be a success. I have a cattle dog mix that isn't great with car rides, and has to be muzzled to get a bath, and a lot of groomers will not work with her (understandably). I have a small bathtub, so baths at home are hard and messy, and she tries to jump out the whole time. So, finding a solution where I don't have to drive her to the groomer, where she's crazy anxious and bitey, and where I don't have to ruin my bathroom and bathtub, was really exciting. This is not a perfect machine, but its pros far outweigh its cons for me. You are going to get slightly wet/your floor will get a bit wet when using this. If you do this on tile, or even just outside on the deck, it's not an issue. Another con is that you can only use their proprietary shampoos with it. This makes sense, since they are no-rinse, but if you have a dog with skin that doesn't like the Bissell shampoo, you might be out of luck. Otherwise, this is a really compact and easy machine to use to actually clean your dog. And your dog, which not bone dry afterward, is able to run around in your house without smelling like wet dog, and without having to be dried off after. If your dog likes being brushed, they will likely be okay with this machine. It's fairly quiet, and even my anxious cattle dog wasn't bothered by it. As a spot cleaner, it does work well, but you have to clean between using it as a dog bath and as a spot cleaner. Not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind. Overall, I would definitely recommend this! My dog loves playing outside and needs baths often. These are the ONLY collar I purchase for my dog. He’s an escape artist, so harnesses and regular collars have never worked out for us. I purchased one collar four years ago, and just recently purchased the same in a different color. The only reason I’m giving a 4 is because the newer collar seems slightly different… cheaper and thinner almost, and the metal clasp is fading in less than six months. With that being said, I will absolutely keep purchasing these as long as possible.amy.h
