SUCC ESS. Was sceptical and know it doesn't work on EVERY dog but I have annoying small dog owned by a neighbour in my apartment complex that always rushes up to their grille and barks its head off when anyone uses the lift near their door. I zapped it with the Dazer II and I could visibly see it got a shock, stopped barking, and backed off. I've used it several times and now the dog has started to become a little fearful of rushing to the door grille and barking. It still barks but much less… and it seems to have figured out that sticking its head at the grill results in a Dazer II blast. Anyway, very happy with the effectiveness. I am pleasantly surprised that the Dazer11 appears to work. I have 4 yapping chihuahuas Nextdoor that must breath through their bums. The barking is nonstop for 8,10,12 hrs a day. It drives a sane person mental. I have used this a couple of times & it shut them up pretty quick smart. I am however getting annoyed at the amount of emails I am receiving from the company. Not bad. The first one I got I ended up giving to a friend who was having issues with her own dog and others while walking. I had used it for quite a while before hand and was happy with it. Decided to get another for myself. The recent one was quite a bit more expensive than the first sadly. However I feel secure with it on board. It has helped me out on a few occasions with aggressive dogs. Though if used on a particular dog several times (useless dog owners) it seems to lose it's effectiveness. My Bichoodle, Magnus, has very long legs with fur that attracts iceballs…these pants have legs that are longer than any snowsuit I have found. I must say that the straps over the back were too difficult for me to open but this was easily resolved by replacing them with velcro. These pants do not restrict his movement at all. Really please with how this fits my 5 month old lab. The only thing is that they run very small size wise. My guy only weighs 36 pounds and the medium fits him perfectly even though he is rated for the small. Decided to go larger with the medium in hopes that he could have some room for growing. This item is an amazing product, and just what our dog needed after having hematoma surgery on his ear. I absolutely LOVE the Light Hound dog harness! I live in a very hot climate, and sometimes the only time I can safely walk my dogs, temperature-wise, is at night. We bought 2 of these for our dogs, and they are WORTH EVERY PENNY. The day I ordered them (before they arrived) one of our dogs got away from my husband on a walk and was hit by a car. Fortunately his injuries were minor and he is doing fine now. I fully believe if he had been wearing this harness the car would have seen him earlier and been able to stop in time. When it is dark out, the lights are bright enough I can stand at my front door and see my husband and dogs coming home from about 2 blocks away, but the lights are soft enough that they won't blind oncoming drivers too. When I ordered them I wished they had different colors, but after receiving them I am SO glad they are the high vis yellow/green. It makes my dogs more noticeable even in the daylight when we don't turn the light pack on. And for those almost-dark times when the lights and high vis are neither quite enough? THEY ARE REFLECTIVE. Like a lot about the product. Our mostly black dog is now very visible during our night walks, yay! Love all the light settings and that it is rechargeable. My feedback for improvement would be I wish the harness portion of the item was more sturdy. I currently have to put his usual harness on and then piggy back the LightHound on top of that. I also have to do that because the LightHound tends to slide from side to side or move forward on his neck if he is sniffing around. We have tightened the LightHound before it just never is quite at the snugness level we would like. I also think if the battery pack of the item sat low (like around where the dog's chest is) versus on top of their back it may not slip and slide so much. I realize that would also make it tough to change the settings once on the dog in the current configuration. Overall, we enjoy this product for our dog and it does what it is meant to do. This review is for the Dig Defence four pack animal barrier fence. This animal barrier is perfectly awesome for me to use around the bottom of the chicken coop wire to keep my dogs or critters from trying to dig under the wire into the chicken coop. It is extra nice quality, heavy duty metal fence sections. Each section is thirty two inches long and eight inches high and has a combined coverage area of over ten feet in length. I know this is mainly made to deter and keep dogs from digging under their yard fence but I intertwined the fencing legs in through the holes in my chicken coop wire and then drove it a little more than halfway into the ground to deter my dogs from digging at the chicken coop fence or any varmints. It is very easy to use and drives into even hard ground with ease with a small sledge hammer or any hammer will work. The legs, with two inch spaces between, are so thick and heavy duty, that they do not bend at all when driving them into the ground. I almost guarantee nothing will dig past these ground barriers as stout as they are.Ang03
These are just what I needed! My inside dog doesn't dig out when she is in the yard, she actually dug IN to come live with us as she was a stray and decided we looked like a good home, or maybe it was the tasty treats we fed her that enticed her to stay! Nonetheless, this keeps OUT the critters that love to come in my back yard (i.e. possums, raccoons, skunks, etc…) to eat the feral cat food I put out for my TNSR (trap, neuter, spay, release) colony. Our wooden fence has places that are worn away at the bottom, and these make a great barrier to fill in those gaps. The cats (and possums, I found out) can crawl over the fence unlike the skunks (they haven't learned yet, thank goodness! 🙂 I feel certain these would work beautifully for pets (dogs) that like to dig OUT of the fence, or try to squeeze through the bars of an iron fence. We have neighbors who don't seem to understand what a leash law means. It's not only annoying, but also gets our dogs (on their leads) sick from time to time. No, we don't keep our dogs out all the time, but do hook them up to a lead to use the bathroom then bring them back in. When the neighbor's dog does gross stuff in our yard, not only do we have to pick it up and dispose of it if we see it, we have to deal with our dogs smelling/rolling in/sometimes eating what the neighbor's dog leaves behind. (It's gross, but many dogs eat what other dogs drop.) These barriers are to the rescue. The back of our property has a fence that is not ours and therefor we can't maintain it. We can, however, add these strong no dig animal barriers on our side to keep the roaming neighbor dogs out of our yard. I have placed them in place without pounding them in yet so you can see the size. Because of the ivys growing near where I want the barriers I will need to put on long sleeves before installing them. Pros: Seem very strong. Seem very durable. The gaps are small enough to let smaller wildlife through while keeping out unwanted dogs. Heavy so dogs and/or other larger animals can't move them. We also ordered a large (from another website) and although that seems to fit her a bit more comfortably, it seems a bit too big. We use the rabbitgoo harness with our double doodle Finn. Walking his 85lb self has its moments, he likes to walk you. The harness has a double clip option. One on the chest and one on the back along with a grab handle which is great on my narrow streets when cars pass. It is super adjustable. A size large is more than adequate for our big dog. My Labrador had stitches in her front leg right on the ankle joint so it was at high risk of infection as very close to the bone. I was hoping this would negate the need for the huge buster collar however, she would still lick at it through the sleeve and make it wet therefore increasing the risk of infection to the wound. She therefore still had to wear the buster collar as well as the sleeve to stop her licking it. Within a couple of days, there was a hole in the material of the sleeve and since then, a further tear has developed, so the quality of the material is not that good. She has also worked out how to get her leg out of it so all in all, it hasn’t been that great! That said, I would still recommend using one as it was better than not having the wound covered at all but for me, it didn’t negate the need for a buster collar unfortunately.Julieann
1 Very happy owner and one calm snoring Dog. He`s been at the top of his leg the last few days and licked it raw . No socks long enough and a long sleeved T shirt was not a success . Ordered this sleeve out of desperation . Money well spent ….. came in a flash and as soon as I put it on he seemed really excited and happy, running round barking the way he does before we go a walk. Now he`s sleeping and not looked at his leg once. Its made of a sweatshirt type fabric , the leg size is more important than body girth as there is lots of Velcro and poppers so easy to adjust so it fits comfortably , I`m glad I did not go for the XL as his chest measurement was borderline the L fits perfectly. I thought my hunting season was done when my black lab was diagnosed with a flipped stomach. Emergency surgery saved his life but the new concern was protection of the incision and shaved belly area. Great product. Alot of room for my dogs to run without chaffing. Heavyweight but not too heavy to overheat my dogs. Had my four year old GWP run full boar into a barbed wire fence wearing one of these and he only had small abrasion from the barb on his chest. Never broke the skin and didn't tear the vest, I will admit I thought for sure we were going for stitches when I saw him flip after running into the wire fence. I now own five of these vests.
