Received the Heartbeat Lamb as part of a puppy bundle, and it sat atop all the other items in the box (great selection too, highly recommend the Puppy Bundle from PetCircle!). My 8 week old Pugapoo saw it, grabbed it and hasn't stopped playing with it since. It has become her best friend, snuggle mate and punching bag, all at once. Lolz. I bought this for my Whippet Puppy. She was a bit restless during crate training and needing to be left alone for short periods. She snuggles this toy and it really comforts her. She falls asleep on top of it regularly. I only wish the heart beat lasted more like an hour before shutting off but otherwise this is great. She also loves just to play with the toy as well so all in all I really think it's a great thing especially for puppies who don't have another dog to keep them company.Jasmine

There are a few things not good with this product – the one I got (a gift, not from Pet Circle) actually didn't even have a heated rock, but instead came with a mini wheat /heat pack, contrary to packaging. Also, the zip to the tummy pouch is very chewable so I cut it out with scissors to prevent it being a hazard (possible to do without ruining it, just the pouch now has no zip). Despite this, my puppy loves this toy and is thrilled when I get it out. It's a good size and kind of solid feeling – very good for cuddling or attacking depending on his mood. It is also the only stuffed toy he hasn't chewed a hole in, so and it's been through the wash multiple times and still looks good.Emma

I have two senior dogs that gets soooo excited for these. They think they’re getting treats when it’s time for these. I have seen improvements in the short time using these for my dogs. Our 10 year old Yorkie no longer have a hind leg issue she has been having. We did cut both of their diets down to help with weight management but these have been great for both of them as this was the only thing that was different and introduced into the routine prior to them having back leg issues. My German Shepard and Chocolate lab enjoyed these treats for a few days until the lab jumped on the dining table and ate the entire bag. So we’ll call the treats a success. I love that they’re soft, a nice change of pace for my older dogs who gobble the treats up before you can blink. It seems like they’ll be softer on their teeth and bellies. Tri-Heart is the same ingredients as Heart Guard but at a much more reasonable price. My dogs don't hesitate to take it with their bowl of food each month. They do get a little looser poops for the next 12 hours, but I haven't noticed any other side effects. The Heart Guard causes that for them as well.TamE

Let me lead with saying that after I came back here to look closer, yes, the website does indeed say these are tablets and not chewables. That said, I did not see that the first time I ordered and was misled by the "Generic for Heartgard" language. In human medicine, generic meds are the same as name brand and I made the (false) assumption this would carry forward. While these do indeed have the same active drug as the name brand, don't be fooled into thinking this is a "flavored" tablet. It's a very hard tab. My dogs usually willingly take medications even without an incentive like a treat. However, with these, it was a massive struggle. No matter what we tried to hide the tablet in, they refused to eat it, and even the old "put it in the back of their throat" trick was a struggle. For a comparison, if you've tried giving your dog Trifexis, it looks just the same. We eventually got these into our dogs, though it was traumatic for all involved. I certainly won't be doing this again. I'm returning the remainder and buying the name brand. The relatively small difference in price simply isn't worth the trauma to my dogs.Brandon

I have been using the cushings gold for just over a month on my dog Max. I share him with a close friend and we have both noticed a big difference. His begging for food and insatiable hunger has subsided. He is not urinating in the house anymore! Max is 10 years old and I lost my previous pomeranian to cushings disease. One cannot underestimate how important that herbals are made with high quality ingredients, correctly and by someone that understands their uses. PetWellBeing is all that. I was on the website looking for something to help my elderly chihuahua because I was unhappy with the meds the doctor had given me. You see he was in heart failure, and they always act like they are looking for them to die soon. I didn’t want that . On the trails and at the beach, my mini Aussie usually manages a few bites of the "treats" left behind by other dogs; despite my vigillance using a training collar to correct undesirable behaviors. Because of this, the deworming benefits of Heartgard once a month are great, in addition to protection from heartworm transmitted by mosquitoes. The digestibility of Heartgard is also appreciated. Easily given as a treat with a meal, my mini Aussie never has any symptoms of an upset tummy or loose stools afterwards. I used to have a Basset Hound who had a very touchy tummy. The Heartgard Chewables worked well for her also, compared to other brands that she would not tolerate (voiding by regurgitating), even when splitting the dose between two meals. With the Heartguard Chewables, I would split the tasty chewable between two meals for my Basset and never had any issues– not even burping, as she would with other medications. I’ve used this brand of heartworm medication for all of my dogs during their lives. I was an avid customer but since an incident with the company I now question if the product is still effective. Our 10 year old jack Russell was given heartgard monthly for her whole life when at 10 years old she tested positive for heart worms. Our vet is a participant of the heartgard satisfaction guarantee and rebate program so they immediately contacted the company with our previous negative tests and receipts to try to get them to pay for the expensive treatment. Instead of trying to immediately treat our dog they tried to poke every hole they could in our case. It took long time but eventually they did re-compensate us some amount of the treatment. Of course, as good pet owners, we immediately paid for the treatment that ultimately saved her life. It’s just sad that we could have lost our pet if we would’ve waited on the company to pay for treatment. The fact that she had been on heartgard monthly for her whole life & still contracted heart worms is what makes me question if this product is still effective. Another thing that really irks me about this company is that they have never sent me the promised rebates (prepaid Visa cards) they say should come in the mail 6-8 weeks after purchase of x amount of their products. Literally just in the lives of the dogs I have now equal $180 worth of not received rebates. It’s sad but now I will be looking for another brand & urge others to do the same. I agree that my dog, a lab hates the flavor and was seeking out the pill and spitting it out until I tried baby food turkey and chicken in the little jars. I use a baby spoon and bury the pill in the meat. She gobbles it up and does even notice even the pill. We do it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. My 12 year old Shiba Inu had 850 liver enzymes. That's so bad and I was so stressed. She has been on this stuff for over 1 year and now her enzymes are about 420. I read some other reviews on how people are getting their dog to take the pill and I laughed because it's what I do also! Cocker has “dry eyes and prescribed steroids and cyclosporine twice daily each eye. Suspect his extremely elevated liver enzymes may be due to long term steroid use or could just be his age. Haven’t tested for Cushing’s but sonograms reveal no tumors on liver or pituitary glands. He was lethargic and never feeling well until his doctor advised trying the Denamarin. His Opthalmologist concurred it was a great idea. Haven’t yet tested his liver enzymes again to see if the numbers have improved (hasn’t been on them quite a full month) but I’ve reordered and will receive the pills monthly. Bottom line: he’s a lot more energetic, playing with his toys again, not sleeping all the time, just overall feeling so much better. He’s acting normal again—normal for an 11-plus year-old Cocker. Did a lot of research before giving him the Denamarin and felt they were safe, and most people had positive results using it. Only drawback would be that the pills for large dogs are really big. You’re supposed to administer 1 hr before or 2 hrs after a meal, which I do with a little piece of boiled chicken breast to hide it and help it go down, and it goes down without a problem. Can’t imagine any dog of any size being able to swallow a pill that size without an owner hiding it in a little chunk of something, cheese, pill pocket, treat. Anything to help it go down easier. And helps if they drink a little water. Can’t wait to have his liver enzymes tested again. I’m confident they will have improved. Side note: when one’s liver is not working properly, urine can have an odd and strong odor, which his did. Standing several feet away, I knew something wasn’t right. That too has resolved which makes me believe his liver is on the mend.Yvonne

Walkee Paws are fantastic! He has managed to kick off every other style of boot but not these and he didn't mind wearing them at all! As soon as they arrived we immediately tried them out and he got used to them right away. The video shows him walking after about 3 minutes of wearing them. It was also 11° F on this walk which would normally leave his paws too cold for more than just a few minutes outside and with his Walkee Paws on we were able to walk for over 20 minutes! His paws didn't get cold or bothered by snowballs and ice. We even walked off into the woods and because we had the adjustable fit and they were snug around his legs he didn't get any snow inside them either. The materials are very good quality and we have been using them for a month now with very little signs of wear. I am thankful for this product to make a cold Wisconsin winter much more enjoyable for my little 9 lb dog! It is a pretty good product. At least when the boots fall off you don’t lose them. He’s worn these boots about 12 times and today was the first day, with readjusting almost constantly every day before we leave, that they haven’t fallen off. Other than that they keep his feet dry he had no difficulty walking in a bit he had lots of practice with other boots that we had to return because he didn’t work. I would recommend these boots to other small dog owners. I often wonder if the smalls would’ve fit him better but with a 12 day shipping time, we needed the booth right now. Also if you’re selling some on Amazon, that’s where I would’ve bought it so I wouldn’t of had to pay your shipping , you should all you should list boots with leggings instead of leggings with boots and then your boots would come up when people search for boots. I've been using Heartgard Plus Chewables with my 2.5 yr old Schneagle since she was a puppy and old enough to take them. Started my other dog on them when she was adopted 1.5 years ago. She had to be treated for heartworms before I adopted her, so I am understandably anxious to make sure neither dog gets infected. Both dogs pass their annual heartworm test with negative results every year and their vet approves of my choice for a preventative. I have used Heartgard Plus on all my dogs since 2015 with no issues. I give it on the 20th of every month. I have never missed a dose nor have I been late. My dogs are inside dogs and only go out to run and use the bathroom. Last Saturday, my Weimaraner tested low antigen positive for heartworms. I was shocked so we took her for a second opinion. She tested low antigen positive at the second vet too. I am being told a number of dogs in our area have tested positive on Heartgard Plus. I am just sick.deborah.a

My dog Loki is my baby, and means everything to me. He's always been very jumpy and hates to be left alone, and is always by my side. He carries his toys around the whole house, and snuggles with them when he sleeps. This is by far his new favorite, and he brings it everywhere with him. It is so soft, and even though it's a good size it's still lightweight for him to carry. I fed this to my older dog (now almost 11) for 4 years before he developed a sensitivity to poultry. I have another dog, Mia, now whom I fed the puppy version of this food until she was a year old and she loved it, so naturally we moved up to this food once she hit a year old. With all the worry about grain free foods potentially causing heart issues, we’d tried to switch Mia to a grain-inclusive food but she had diarrhea and vomiting when we tried gradually switching her food that progressively got worse. So we switched back to this food and we won’t try to switch off of it again knowing she cannot process grains! The ingredients are high quality for grain-free and there are no by-products. Mia maintains a healthy weight, soft shiny fur, and hasn’t gotten sick her whole life thus far (15 months old). My older dog also did very well on it until we had to switch him because of poultry, and his fur hasn’t been the same on his new food, very lackluster, but that could be due to his age as well. I’m not sure. All in all I highly recommend this food for small breed adult dogs who have to have grain-free food! I also want to note that this food contains taurine, which is suspected to help prevent the heart problems associated with grain-free foods. Thanks Wellness!CM

I have three little dogs–a Terrier mix, a Poodle, and a Shih Zhu. Feeding the first two is easy. They'll eat just about anything and stay healthy and active.Our little Shih Zhu, however, is another story. Most everything makes her vomit…and when she does, it's not pretty, especially during COVID lockdowns where grooming is often deferred (or happens in my ham-fisted way). She looked and acted pathetic.However, with this food, overnight her vomiting stopped. She seems to have more energy and is less grumpy than before, too. She'll never be a little ball of energy like our Poodle and Terrier–she's really more of a cat than a dog in many ways. Like the small kibble. Easier for my older chihuahua to chew. I like the ingredients. My chihuahua gets upset stomach problems a lot, but so far no problems with this food. He sits at the dish till its gone. Before he would walk each piece of food away from the dish with all the other foods. Its been a week now, but so good so far. My vet questioned why I was feeding my beagle a lower quality food. My dog had digestive issues and was on the rounder side. Our Weimaraner has always had a sensitive stomach. We have tried many different brands of foods for him. He tends to get very gassy/not feeling well with certain dog foods-you never know which ones! We have settled on the Nutro Limited Ingredient Diet Grain Free Salmon and Sweet Potato variety. For the most part, this has controlled his stomach issues, except for the occasional day where we don’t know what’s going on in there!! One of my only complaints is that this food smells fishy (I know, it’s Salmon! 🤪)-I hold my breath when I’m feeding him. I don’t care for the smell. The Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Brown Rice Recipe for adult dogs was gobbled up by my dogs. The lamb was preferred because our dogs are allergic to chicken. It is prominently displayed on the bag that lamb is the number one ingredient. Also prominently displayed on the front is that it does not contain chicken by product meal. On the list of ingredients it has chicken meal as the second ingredient. It has no artificial flavors or preservatives. If your dog is not allergic to chicken this would be a good food option.tzpooh

I have been looking for a dried dog food for my pug and picky terrier mix. They have sensitive digestive systems, especially my pug, and my terrier mix is very picky. I found a dog food rated 5 stars on dog food advisor, they liked it but it gave my pug a terrible gas problem and both of them semi chronic diarrhea. I switched to this one, they love it and their poop returned to normal. My pug no longer has smelly gas all the time. I am very happy to find this!!Diana

I have a 6 year old puggle that struggles with weight. She had originally been on a Purina diet that was recommended by our vet. She later started developing crystals in her urine in repeat UA and needed to be switched to a different food that helped control this. The vet recommended trying SO, while it worked for her, she was not full from the portion she could have. So we switched to SO mod cal and had the same results. Finally we came across this food and she loves it! She is a very picky eater but she devours this food! My dog was diagnosed by the vet as being obese. He gave me a prescription for Royal Canine Satiety Support. It really has helped my fur baby to lose some weight. It does take time to see a result but have patience. I did try a couple of other brands but this is the only dog food that has worked for her. I first wrote a review on this product after only about three weeks, and although his scratching and skin irratation still continued at that point, I stated his coat appeared better. Now after several months have gone by, I need to set the record straight. After about 6 weeks of using Aller G3, my Scottie was noticeably doing less scratching and pulling his hair out, and his coat was really looking better. Now it has been about 5 months, and this is the first summer in years that I have not had to take him to the vet for a cortizone shot. I had tried every kind of the highest quality of dog food, started making his own, first trying beef as the main ingredient, then turkey, then chicken. I used several kinds of pet shampoo, then used only that supplied by my vet, all to no avail. I talked to my brother, his vet recommended Aller G3 for his Scottie, and he had vastly improved. I have two rescue dogs found 2 months apart. One, no matter what I tried, just kept scratching and chewing at their skin. Vet sold me Vetoquinol and said to try this. I give both my dogs, cannot give one without the other,1 tablet every day before their meals. They come running when they hear me open bottle. They just love the taste when they chew into the capsule. My 7 year old Scottie has been to the vet for Cortizone shots every year for several years, plus I have used vet reccomended supplements, vet reccomended shampoos, plus every different type of flea and tick prventors, in trying to control his skin itching and hot spots. We changed his dog food to all natural (expensive) dog food, finally started making his food ourselves, trying beef, turkey, chicken, all with no change or relief. He has scratched and pulled his hair out every summer, with nothing helping except for the cortizone shot, and I am reluctant to give that to him, except almost as an emergency. My brother also has a Scottie 150 miles away from me, had the same issues with skin problems, and his vet recommended Aller g3, and he told me it has stopped his dog from itching and scratching. I was skeptical, but willing to try anything, and I could not believe it. After a few weeks into the spring this year, his scratching stopped, his coat got black again instead of the reddish look, and he has had the best summer of his life. He has had no scratching issues of any kind, his coat is beautiful, and we are both sooo happy. The kibble size was very small — but also extremely hard. I feel it's like the human equivalent of grapenuts, when you're looking for cheerios. Our chihuahua tried to chew it and eventually gave up and swallowed pieces whole. Then, he stopped eating it entirely. We have never had trouble with kibble being too hard in the past. We went back to his normal kibble – Nature's Recipe Grain Free — and he's happy. Perhaps I should have realized that this kibble would be harder than average because the packaging says that it prevents tartar build up. We had never switched my dogs food before, so I had done tons of research and was hesitant to even switch from our current food. After extensive research I decided to try this brand because it was grain free, reasonably priced, and the kibble was a good size. My dog LOVES this food…with his old food he would take forever to eat, and sometimes refused his food. I think he likes that the kibble is easy to chew and we are hoping that this helps with his digestive system and skin! We've never seen our little pup be so excited to eat before!Alison T
