Purchased this product with not much confidence made a huge difference in my GSD allergies. Sprayed on the area he was chewing when he would begin chewing. It gave him instant relief, he now comes to get the area sprayed when he chews. I am going to use the same product which is an ointment to see how well it does. Rosebud was biting at her nether parts due to itching. This applied liberally relieved her jitters. I got this because we had two other dogs several years ago who were both affected by itching in different doggy-parts (stomach, behind, etc) and I used a similar product for them which also worked well. I believe a Hot Spot Anti-itch Spray is an essential for any dog's care kit. This product does the job to ease a dpog's constant itching well.MarkD2

My dog will pull and I don't really believe that will be a no-pull device that will keep her from it 100%. This harness does seem somehow calming and is extremely easy to put on her.usacsw

We desperately wanted these ADORABLE Wellies to work with our pup's paws, but we found the molded material a bit difficult to get a good fit in the 'toe box' compared to Canada Pooch's more pliable Secure Sock Boots (of which we bought two pairs in the end). Definitely worth trying the Wellies on your dog first though, as the single-piece construction makes them a completely waterproof fashion statement that will keep even the worst mud and grit at bay! Another plus of the Wellies is that they can be cleaned with a simple wipe or quick rinse under the tap 🙂Betsy K.

These just didn’t fit my bully mix feet at all, he’s 50 pounds. I tried two sizes and the width of the booth even at 5xl was not suitable. The 5xl I was able to get his paw in but then length of the boot was too big which caused him to trip up. If your dog has a wide, short paw avoid these boots. I also noticed the boot material was sticky, so sand and road dust did stick to them. The build quality was nice though.Maggie M.

I ordered these orginally for my 82lbs bernedoodle 11 month old pup. Living in upstate NY, both him and my 45ish lbs medium sized Labradoodle wear boots regularly. I typically buy from my local pet store… although, I find they are thin and cheaply made. The velcro almost always breaks off and they are thin material. So I decided to try the Canada Pooch unlined wellies. I measured my Bernedoodles paws exactly as recommended as he typically wears size XL in pet store brand. (And based off size chart for Canada pooch I knew it would be far too small) Based off Canada Pooch size rec and measurements that i did do, he should be 4xl. Decided to order 5Xl just to be safe and that I'd rather have them too big than too small. Immediately upon opening I triple checked the size on the box. Just because they looked soooo small. 5XL. Just to find, they wouldn't even go over his paws. I am sooooo sad. They are AMAZING quality. The velcro is thick and sturdy, the material itself is so nice just for some unlined wellies! They fit my labradoodle perfect so I will keep them for her. I wish they made a bigger size so I could buy them for my Bernedoodle… just buyer beware they run very small!Marissa P.

This harnass lasted exactly three minutes. I put it on my dog, adjusted it, and she chewed it for a second and it completely tore. The company acknowledges that it can not withstand even a quick nip from your dog. Ridiculously poor quality. Their answer is for you to spend another 12.99 for a warranty to get another harnass which will do the same thing. Awful product that is expensive. Dismissive and unethical customer service. There are many other good options for harnesses out there. Save your money and aggravation .Kerri R

I really like the product. The two connection points give me more control over my reactive dog. A few months after purchase I noticed some of the nylon was unraveling near one of the box stitches. I contacted the company and provided pictures and they replaced it right away. Great product and great service.

Just know that this isn’t a miracle product that will completely stop your dog from pulling. It’s not a replacement for training. YOU as the owner have to teach your dog proper leash manners. But if you want more control, or you have a reactive dog, I definitely recommend this.Rachel Cormier

This has been a major breakthrough with my crazy pulling dog! We have tried several other collars as well as a harness that had more of a collar and only attached to the leash on the back. We've had a Canada Pooch Expedition 1.0 coat for 3+ years. The Thermal Tech Fleece coat is an even better design (for another of our dogs). 1) It looks great. 2) It is durable whe the dogs roughhouse, unlike some of the thin shell "Puffer" coats. 3) it staysbon the dog better than Expedition 1.0 when the wind comes from the rear.Martin C.

The length fits nicely but I think this jacket was meant for much thicker dogs. In order to get it to fit properly I hand stitched the black bottom stretchy material making a large dart from the front zipper all the way to the end toward the belly using a stretch stitch. The stitching/dart took off zero at the zipper all the way to about 4 inches by the belly. It fits much better now as before there was a very large gap of hanging fabric. If I had bought a smaller size then the length would have been much too short so….. keep that in mind. The only photo on the site with a non thick type dog wearing this only shows the back view of the dog sitting down (black dog) so side view is hidden and I would be surprised if there was not a large gap as was the case with my dog.CHuard

About 2-3 years ago, I bought a pair of these booties for my golden retriever-mix service dog, Maggie. We live in northern Minnesota & have snow from November thru, um, April so Maggie needs paw protection often & in significant snow/sale. Previously I purchased cheaper boots for her but they always fell off or their material was too flimsy. I have learned that you get what you pay for with these quality paw protectors with the non-skid yet bendable "soles". Most importantly, tho, is that Ultra Paws have TWO (2) Velcro bands securing the boots to the dog paw. The booties do NOT fall off when you slide them on & tighten the Velcro correctly. When we are out & about, Maggie often gets stopped as people check out her fashionable boots. Numerous times I have been asked about the booties' performance, durability — & most importantly — whether they stay on. I enthusiastically endorse Ultra Paws! One set of the booties is worth the price of 2 cheap sets. When there is snow outside & Maggie wants to go for a walk, she sees me approach her with the mitts & lets me put them on her paws. Okay, first off I didn't buy these through Smartpak (they didn't carry them.) I bought them years ago through Amazon. My boxer pup and I hike hundreds of miles every year. However, one year she was having trouble building up her callouses, so I got a set of these. Since then they never leave my pack while we are out and about. They are so useful it is foolish to not have a set. Did you pup cut their paw, no problem. Did you go too far and the pup has sore feet, problem solved. I have a Large 90 lbs Weimaraner, and the Size Large and they fit perfectly. The black part is nice and thick BUT NOT Hard like some other boots, so they are comfortable on his paws. It only took him like maybe 10 minutes to get used to them. Mostly because he LOOVES to go outside, so I just side tracked him by opening the front door so he was to excited about going outside, he didnt have time to really concentrate on these new weird things on his feet. Being a raw feeder , im VERY picky about what i feed my dog. Then a Bullmastiff who is allergic to just about everything came into my life. Traveling can be tricky. After finding this beef roll i was amazed. # 1 he likes it #2 He hasnt had an allergic reaction to any ingredients # 3. its alot easier than packing a cooler wirh raw shank steaks when i want to take a quick trip. The dogs go b-a-n-a-n-a-s for this! They know it when it comes out of the fridge, drool and flip out while I'm cutting it, and bounce up and down until served. I use the inch markers to cut a portion to use as a topper supplement to their dinners each night. I tend to microwave it for 10-20 seconds to soften it up after cutting a slice but before making smaller cuts. They're great for making pill meatballs to hide meds too. We've served the beef and chicken versions to much fanfare. Bonus: the "output" is solid, well-formed and consistent. Everyone wins.TODDSnENDS

I’m sorry but I would not recommend this. Within about 3 hours of my dogs eating this stuff’n they got sick. I have two black labs and we love the Kong toys. I had always put peanut butter or other things in the toy until I tried this. I put it in the toy, they played and within 3 hours BOTH of my babies were sick. I could hear their stomachs rumbling and they had horrible diarrhea. They both looked so pitiful. It passed in about 1.5-2 hours but I was so upset I had given them something that made them so sick. Looking for a treat dispensing toy for my Jack Russell that wouldn't instantly be destroyed by one of the other dogs in the house, the material is the hard rubber material that the other main Kong toys are made out of instead of easily chewed plastic which was exactly what I was looking for. my dog loves it and so far hasn't chewed it apart so great buy, brilliant for use when i'm busy round the house or just chilling out, keeps him entertained for ages rolling it for the treats and chewing the outside to help clean his teeth. Definitely would recommend. For sizing the medium was perfect for my Jack Russell for any dog slightly bigger than him I would recommend getting the large.brontdartnel_0

I wouldn't say my dog is too finicky about his food. However, typically, when I add dry food to his bowl, he doesn't usually eat right away. He has this habit of waiting until I'm ready to take him for his walk before he decides to eat. However, since introducing the Acana dry food, he eats his food right away. I slowly introduced this new dry food by mixing some of it each day into his regular dry food. Each week, I added more and more of the Acana. I just gave him the last of the bag this morning so I will need to head to the store to get more as I'm sure he's a fan!Glitchgirl13619

The dog food was very expensive! If it wasn’t for me receiving it free to try, I would not have ever even thought of purchasing this! Of course we want what’s best for our furry friends, but this was just insane! The kibbles where very plain looking, nothing special. Of course my dog ate it, he eats my cat’s poop out of the litter box! I’m not saying that this is a bad product by any means, I just can’t get over how much it costs! My Sadie loves the Acana Wholesome Grains! She is a very picker eater but enjoys the flavor of this dog food. I believe her previous dog food was too bland for her to enjoy. She would just pick at it and not eat her entire bowl at mealtime. She eats the entire bowl with this flavor. This particular flavor contains beef, pork, oats, and lamb. No wonder she likes it! The ingredients, vitamin breakdown, and feeding guide are on the bag. I like that it shows what ingredients I'm feeding my dog. All of the information on the bag is very helpful. There aren't any artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives in this dog food. I'm so glad this product is made with natural ingredients that are healthy for my dog. Since switching to Prey Limited Ingredient Beef, I have noticed signficant difference in my Bulldogs with less skin issues and small well formed stools. Potatoes can cause yeast issues in bulldogs and it is very hard to find dog food formulas that do not contain potatoes or sweet potatoes. I have to keep my dogs diet very strict. This food is not filled with a bunch of ingredients my dogs do not need. In between meals my dogs get fruits and vegetables for snacks. I feed Prey not just to my own dogs, but to the bulldogs that I foster for Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue.BulldogMom

My German Boxer has an allergy, he itches and chews that bottom of his feet. We thought it was the sweet and regular potato in his TOTW High Prairie w/ roasted Bison and Venison, so we changed his to the TOTW Prey Angus Beef formula. The reason we changed it was due to the fact that one of pet store specialist and vet said it's probably all of the potato (carbs) in the High Prairie. Since he's been on the Angus Beef formula, 2 weeks now, he has been chewing on the bottom of his feet more than ever! Initially he was on a Large Breed Adult Chicken Receipe-Grain Free food but he was loosing weight due to his constant playing while at daycare, 3-4 days a week, 8 hours a day. The Large Breed Adult Chicken Receipe-Grain Free food was too low in protein at 22%, so that's the reason why we changed him to TOTW. He wasn't itching his feet on the previous food, so we will probably switch him back and just feed him 3x's a day, instead of 2x's. This Prey version is also higher priced in addition to being 5 lbs LESS than other the other 30 lb bags we've purchased in the past, for $7 to $9 less. Overall the ingredients are ideal for a high energy dog, just not my little boy.Niz2017

I have been feeding my two dogs (One is a four year old pit bull / Boston terrier mix, the other is a pit bull) for quite a few months now. At first, this food was GREAT. Sounds a little strange but I noticed a huge difference in their feces. It was much more firm and they seemed to love the food! The past few times I have bought this, I could tell a difference in the food itself. When I bought the first bag that was different, it was maybe about a week before my dogs started both getting sick. Their feces was no longer solid and became diarrhea. They started becoming more lethargic. I thought maybe this was just a bad batch (I read some reviews about this food before I bought it and heard that happens). I went and bought another bag (mind you these are $50 bags). I had the first bag in a container that I usually keep the food in so it's easier to scoop out but hadn't thrown it away yet. After opening the second bag I noticed the food STILL looked off (the same as the previous bag) but thought maybe they just change the way they processed it. I kept the second bag just in case. I started feeding my dogs this second bag and after another week of things not getting better I finally contacted support. They offered me a refund (which they are supposed to be shipping out today which it's now been over a week since the complaint). I have now bought a THIRD and FOURTH bag (one small and one big) of this food from a different pet store hoping that they would have the original stuff I bought and got home and opened the bag and it's still the same bad food I've gotten the past two bags. I don't know what is going on but I am now out $170 on food that has made my dogs sick all because I was trying to give them a chance that this bad food was a fluke. I am very disappointed as I read on a lot of different sites that this food was amazing. I would love to go back to this food if they changed it back to the old stuff I was buying a few months ago, but as of right now I will not waste any more money on this bad food that they have been selling.Shan

You needed a bigger size. Generally, I would recommend sizing up once or twice anyway. The smaller ones are too small and not as thick of material therefore easier for any size dog to tear up. Additionally, if the toy isn’t full of snacks, take it away. Don’t let them chew on the toy itself just as a chew toy. That is another reason why the toy may get damaged. If the dog is focused on getting the snack out, they’ll be much less focused on destructive behaviors and tearing things apart. If you have a puppy, remember they teethe and it HURTS. They self sooth by chewing. Give them things it’s okay to chew on/destroy like Nyla bones (which seriously last forever even in strong determined breeds). Last thing to mention, is that if you really want to go with indestructible, prefer something that’ll keep them busy for a lot longer periods of time, then get the weighted feeder kong balls. I put some dog food into ours along with some soft small very strong smelling treats and my dogs work on this for HOURS. It’s how they get their meals or at least part of their meal each day. You can fed the whole meal this way if you want. They come in different sizes but the biggest size has worked perfectly for all of my dogs (weights range from 35 to 150lbs). They knock it over and the snack or treat falls out of a little hole. Then they keep working on it little by little, it’s really a great option for keeping them distracted! Just be sure to take it away when they’re not using it anymore so they don’t learn to guard it. This is true with any toy, treat, bone, or food. Offer a few times a day then take away when they’re no longer interested. Free feeding is one of the worst habits to start and makes it difficult for owners to tell quickly when something is off with their pet. I learned this the hard way! (Google this if you don’t believe me) I would still consider these Kong balls to be indestructible IF you use them properly. I have huge, strong dogs, a sharp toothed and very busy heeler and both have had theirs for 4 years without incident and not even a puncture mark into either one. I filled with “mini” milk bones and broken in half “small” milk bones but just read another reviewer said they freeze theirs with pnut butter and treats inside. Amazing! Amazing at entertainment for my dog. Love how we can stick big treats in there and keep him busy whenever we have to leave the house. I think it's a must for training your dog. Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it. So best to keep the toy until you notice any wear or tear. I like how it has multiple sizes and has really good durability.. this is a really good investment for your dog! We have found many creative ways to entertain our husky/German shep/malamute mutt who has high energy and high affinity to treats. 10/10 would recommend. There's also some Kong specific treats you can find meant to fit into the toy to make it very difficult for the dog to remove it. We like that there is a lot of creative ways to use it. We had two on rotation for when our puppy was teething and needed a lot of attention. Frozen treats allowed for the pup to work on the kong. We use it at home mainly but we do bring it over to our friends house when our dog is staying the night because we are out of town. It's just another tool they can use if they find he needs to calm down and focus instead of rambunctious and playing.terri.n

This is the old classic rubber Kong dog toy. I have the regular size and the small size for my boxer and for my Boston terrier. Its shape causes it to bounce in random directions. My dog absolutely loves this toy. I've put everything in that thing. I have broken up some single ingredient treats and stuffed them in Kong. We refer to my dogs as having ADHD, or a very SHORT attention span, but not with this toy they absolutely love it!! . I put treats as well as peanut butter bananas or yogurt then put them in the freezer. The freezing slows down their ability to clean out the inside quickly so the game lasts a little longer. The rubber is hard enough so they cannot chew through it yet soft on their teeth and gums. The hole is large enough to easily fill the inside as well as wash out the inside after use. Definitely buy multiples so that there are some in the freezer ready to go on those hot days or on those days that you just need a little time to get something done while your dog is occupied. All in all I completely recommend these toys for all dogs of any shape and size.Ysabel
