The quality is very good & as described. However, although the dimensions are stated, your photos of this toy with large breed dogs do not seem to represent the same size toy & it is smaller than most chickens, never mind a turkey? Got this to entertain my 16 week old Border Collie puppy when I leave the house. He loved it but destroyed it within about 3 days. Broke through the canvas and got the stuffing out. Just not durable enough for the price! Also a bit of a design flaw that food gets stuck in the smaller pockets and with excessive saliva becomes total mush. Would not recommend.Jess

It is hard to find toys to entertain my light chewer but this is his absolute favourite. It has also continued to hold up to repeated use though the velcro needs a deep clean to get out the dog hair to maintain the stick every now and then. I wouldn't recommend for very strong chewers, but those of us with light chewers can often be overlooked in the dog toy department. This is my 3rd Kong ball. My dog Loves the Medium/Large size. Unfortunately, the way they have the sizing, they have medium/large and large/extra large. The lg/extra lg is a bit too big for my 35 lb dog and I ordered it by accident seeing only the word “large.” Once Petco accepts returns in store again, I will be taking it back. I’ve purchased the med/lg size now as well as purchasing one for a friend. Took away one star for that confusing sizing. Easy to see when you’re in the store but when ordering online, too easy to make a mistake that can’t be easily returned.TBDarren

I bought this to replace a medium version that had been completely trashed. Unfortunately this hasn’t been as robust as I had hoped. The squeak broke almost immediately, followed by the disc where it is located. I only allow ‘supervised’ use, but it was done and dusted within about half an hour’s playtime (2 x 15 minute sessions). She hasn’t managed to remove the tennis ball yet, so we are still enjoying it and I do believe there is a limit to what I can expect given my dog’s size/breed. Just unboxed this and for Maverick 2yr old whippet, it was love at first squeak. Hasn't made it outside yet and he has worn him self out (yippee). My dogs love these. Not going to lie, when I first purchased these, I didn’t really understand how they worked. I would fill with treats then feel disappointed when it only entertained my dogs 10 minutes. I have since adopted a hyperactive Labrador; while researching ways to calm him down, kongs kept coming up in the blogs. I watched some videos on how to use them for training purposes and have learned how to stuff them in a way that keeps my dogs entertained for a long time. I use a combination of kibble, canned dog food, and other healthy food options, layer it all in the Kong, then freeze. My dogs are stupid excited to see me pull these out of the freezer. I always buy a size larger than I think I need to ensure my dogs don’t choke or get their tongues stuck and that’s worked out great. Very happy with these, we have about 12 of them. Amazing! Amazing at entertainment for my dog. Love how we can stick big treats in there and keep him busy whenever we have to leave the house. I think it's a must for training your dog. Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it. So best to keep the toy until you notice any wear or tear. I like how it has multiple sizes and has really good durability.. this is a really good investment for your dog! We have found many creative ways to entertain our husky/German shep/malamute mutt who has high energy and high affinity to treats. 10/10 would recommend. There's also some Kong specific treats you can find meant to fit into the toy to make it very difficult for the dog to remove it. We like that there is a lot of creative ways to use it. We had two on rotation for when our puppy was teething and needed a lot of attention. Frozen treats allowed for the pup to work on the kong. We use it at home mainly but we do bring it over to our friends house when our dog is staying the night because we are out of town. It's just another tool they can use if they find he needs to calm down and focus instead of rambunctious and playing.terri.n

My dogs had this for about a year. He’s a 22 lb Italian Greyhound mix who isn’t destructive (the pic attached is him 🥰). I included this information because I can’t vouch for the durability if you have a chewer. The material seems durable though. It does have a rubber smell that is kind of annoying and it takes a long time to go away. If you’re sensitive to smell you might want to avoid this. It seems to smell the most like rubber when you wash it. It’s easy to wash. I use a little bit of dish soap and hot water to wash it after every use. You don’t have to use the Kong spray in this. You can fill it up with whatever treat/food you want.simply.b

I have a boxer mix that eats everything other Kong toys included, but this one he has chewed and chewed and chewed and it is still in great shape after a week. I know a week is not long life for a dog toy like this but you see, he ate the other one in less than 30 minutes. an it was a kong circle ball. Our 5 month old poodle ripped the cover on this toy in less than 20 minutes. Kong says that certain dogs need special toys. I disagree in that there has been NO toy that has been destroyed so easy. As others have said, there has been no problem with other similar toys and this one is simply poorly designed. I bought this Kong – Air Squeaker Football at my neighborhood Petco, and was a great purchase, durable, resistant to wear and tear from my tough German Shepherd puppy, with strong and sharp teeth. My pit Ruby can kill a tennis ball in a bite and loves too but it makes fetch more of a single throw event. I found this Kong version and it was a winner. Just oversized enough, being more mini football then actual tennis ball, and made with thicker kong materials, she hasnt popped it yet. She wants to rip the Kong logo off so bad but its to well part of the ball so shes slowly defuzzing it in the hopes that it will help (it wont). I'm extremely sad to have to write a negative review on this toy. This was our Huskies' favorite toy for years! We had a couple of these balls that quite literally lasted for well-over a year and even then they were never damaged by the dogs, they were only disposed of when they had been outside for a couple years and began to dry rot and crack. The dogs played with them every single day (while supervised, never allowed to just chew on them) and many hours of fetch and playing with them in the kiddy pool, etc. and not one hole was caused. I recommended these Kong balls to everyone, we loved them so much. Fast forward to the last order I placed for these Kong balls, probably around a year ago, the balls did seem a bit more translucent than usual, but I wasn't yet concerned. That is until one ball stopped squeaking within minutes of giving it to the dogs and upon inspection, it had already been punctured and had a slice in it! I thought it had to be a fluke, so I gave them another one (I always order several at a time as we have a large pack of dogs) and the same thing happened within minutes! After about 10 minutes of normal playtime (they are not allowed to lay down and just chew on them), several of the balls already had to be discarded as pieces were easily coming off. I was in disbelief and so disappointed! Well, I made the dogs very sad and didn't order anymore for quite some time, but decided to give them another shot in a recent order as they were on sale. Unfortunately, they have not at all improved since our last experience. The price has also gone up on them, so not only do you pay more, but get a lesser quality product. It's a great toy but my black lab is so strong he bites through even the toughest and stones of all these toys. Things you would not think a dog could chew through, made of the toughest material, my lab will destroy it within an hour if not minutes. He's a sweet dog and very gentle with people. The tentacles of this toy came off almost immediately. It took a bit longer for the ropes to come of which then revealed a squeaky ball which my dog loves. My puppy is really selective on the balls she likes. She loves the chuck it ultra squeaker and that ball lasts one time at the dog park before it’s destroyed! I’m trying to find another ball that’s she’ll love, that will last! I’m pretty sure it could be this one… I do know that a lot of the other dogs at the park love it, because it’s soft and squishy. Like others said, the squeaker didn’t last longer than a few moments and that’s what entices them to play. My number one recommendation for this ball… MAKE IT A DIFFERENT COLOR!!! PROS: durable squeaker, favorite squeaker ball for my pitbull. It can still have a hole and squeak! CONS: if you own a pitbull, this is not the chew time squeaker. Moved house to Live by the sea, but my 8 year old dog couldnt swim, (she also had leg surgery which has given her arthritis) I wanted her to get some exercise in the water so brought her a life jacket and this as a last option after trial and error with balls, floats, toys etc but with no success or interest …… as shes a big wuss and a big dog this has been excellent and she is now swimming out to retrieve it and as its quite big and floats really well she can see it easily and loves going in the sea after it. This was the first kong product that I will not be buying again. If you have a little puppy that isn't really a big chewer, awesome cute accessory for their kennel or bed. If you have a dog that takes it as a personal challenge to see the insides of their chew toys, don't do it. It looked like a cotton massacre in their kennels. I was so excited to see Kong had made a soft chew toy! I have probably bought about every single toy besides the two i bought today to add to their collection. Every kong I bought has incredible longevity. this toy he was the most excited about, he loves squeaky soft toys but literally runs through them in 2 minutes. and since it was made from kong, i had total confidence in the durability. boy was i wrong, i gave it to him 10 minutes ago and there’s already a hole in the top. My review is for the XLarge KONG Wubba – NOT the small. MY dogs are nuts about KONG Wubba's. A couple of generations of Scotties have now had these toys – I've tried XL/L/M – prefer the XL. Scottish Terriers have extremely powerful jaws and set upon these toys with just one thing in mind – KILL IT!!! They relish in shaking the toy and are further encouraged in their endeavours as the "tails" of the toy make a flappity-flap sound. I do not allow the dogs to play with their Wubba's for long – as they truly do kill them. So I rescue the Wubba's and place them in a toy box that is hidden in a closet. Each night after we Pet Parents have had dinner, I remove the toy box and the "boys" may select a toy of choice, Well, if there are Wubba's in that box – that is the #1 in choice. When the dogs have finally "killed" the toys; they still play even though the squeaker has died – usually the first thing that goes. The fabric is durable and there are no parts that can be ingested by a pet. The best part is when I pony up for a new pair of Wubba's and laugh madly as the "boys" set upon them yet again. Each one wants the others Wubba, and they are almost delirious with joy. If you need a good laugh, invest in a Wubba and watch your pet darn knock itself out – it is worth the $$'s – trust me. WARNING: Just know that there are knock-offs on these toys. With pseudo Wubba's, the fabric rips and the exposed interior parts – either hard plastic or metal – will make your dogs mouths bleed.
