I purchased this product for my 2 year dog, Sofie. She is an aggressive chewer and generally destroys toys within minutes of receiving. We have zero success with plush today so I try to stick with rubber toys. Once again, Sofie destroyed her new toy within 15 minutes.SOFIETHEDOG

I got this for my kelpie x who is always wanting to play. It can fit 1/3 of her daily kibble and entertains her for up to 30 minutes while she tries to get her food out. She has started chewing it but it's durable like most kong products so hasn't impacted it after 3 months.Elle

My 3yr old has had his Kong for 6mos. or so… big dog size. He's a 90lb. hound/black lab mix that is a mega chewer and this thing occupies him for hours. I shove a giant milkbone into it – helps if I lay the kong on the counter and flatten it with my left hand and shove the bone in with my right. Takes him a while to crush the bone… then he grabs it by the end & does a little shake so the pieces fall out. That can be a bit messy, but he's good at the crumb-clean up! I also put chunks of cucumbers, stawberries, carrots, etc. in the kong and then freeze it. Non-crushable treats (a PB smear or a folded piece of lunch meat or pet jerky) work well, too… takes him longer to get to those. He knows his "SQUEEZY" by name…and he's not the world's brightest dog, so that's testament to how much he loves this dang toy. This dog normally DESTROYS toys (especially treat-related toys) within the first few minutes, so this was a phenomenal investment.PortersPeeps

We thought this toy would be really fun for our labs and a great way to entertain them. The older one doesn't care for it. Our younger one keeps getting her jaw stuck in the teeth of the toy trying to get any treats we put in, and then it slices up her bottom jaw. We've had to stop using it for food dispensing and only for playing with.ESho

Love the kong rubber toys for our dog, they're the only ones she can't immediately chew through. Our last Leo lasted over 2 years before needing replacing. Great product!KayD

I know my Dog and my Grand dogs will love this dental/treat/toy. They have not received them yet; they all will be getting them for St. Nicholas Day. I can't wait to give the toy to them! My 1 1/2 yr old pup gets bored and destructive. The way this bounces unpredictably really captures his attention and he loves chasing it when I throw it for him. He doesn't like to give it back though. I bought this in May. It is now August. He has chewed off 2 of the ends because I have left it with him during the day but he still loves it. This didn't last five minutes with my dog. Even though the plastic felt strong, he was ripping it apart instantly. He could get his teeth between the grooves to pull pieces off. This is definitely not for moderate to heavy chewers.ALew

Really quick delivery and looks great, a lot smaller than I imagined I bought a medium/large and it was just a bit bigger than my hand but it was too small to play with my dog with it she kept accidentally biting my fingers! She loved carrying it round and was her favourite toy for little bit, however she promptly chewed it to pieces within 4hours which I was very disappointed with as it was more expensive than other toys and needed something she wouldnt destroy. I bought it because she cant chew through her kong extreme so its not as durable as the other kong toys as it makes out, if youre looking for a durable toy for a dog that likes to chew I wouldnt recommend it for other dogs its a good toy.cjoh8519

I was a little weary ordering this bc some of the reviews said their dog chewed though it easy, but unless their dogs are like part shark and robot—-bc my dog is a big time on purpose destroyer of all toys and big time chewer, she destroyed all her stuff within 24 hours. Next day I went and bought this and she cant even put a dent in it, this toy is pretty tough! Im very pleased with its durability! I do think adding a treat in it makes it more "fun" for the dog, but even without we play fetch with it and she likes it. I recommend.ARoemisch

I bought this toy a few years ago in store at Petco for my 50lb hound/pit mix, she's 5 now, and this has been her favorite toy by a long shot. I actually came on here to look at buying her a second one because she loses it on occasion, usually under furniture or down along the side of my bed, but once I find it for her, she's absolutely ecstatic and will run around in circles barking with joy to have it back. I don't even have to put anything in it, she just loves it as is, though I will on occasion put the kong sweet potato stuff'n in it if she's bored enough. It's also worth noting that she tends to chew straight through almost any toys I get her, but has only ever destroyed one kong toy and it was only because my 75lb husky has broken it first, so whenever I'm looking for new toys for her I go straight to the kong section.Kimiix

This is my dog's favorite! I fill it with "cookies" (milk bones) and she works hard to get them out. I've lost a few that I think the raccoons ran off with, so I always need to have a backup.michellhodge4

Our dog loves it but unfortunately he ate the beak straight away and broke the seam on the neck the following day, we sew it back and no more damage so far. But overall it’s good value money and we are yet to find a stuffed toy that doesn’t get ripped after a few days.Virginie M.

I bought this a day ago. Loaded it with treats and watched my little pup walk it through the living room. Watched little trails of red plastic litter the floor within the first five minutes. My little pup is not a chewer. I have never seen a Kong toy disintegrate ever, never mind crumble like this. You can watch like a hawk… this gyro dog toy will not last 15 minutes.jackinbox

My dogs LOVE this more than any kong toy. They just need to update it to be a sturdy material like the other kong items. It lasted 2-3 months but eventually the dogs tore it to shreds. Literally shreds. I would still re buy it though due to how many hours use we got out of it. But I would rather spend a little more for a better version of this that is just not as prone to being torn up (as other reviewers mentioned and posted pics of, this is eventually what happened to ours, too). I filled with some dog food mixed with some soft training sized treats to really get their attention. Wouldn’t put peanut butter or anything like that in this. Would use it more as a feeder toy with dry or soft treats or food. Not wet though as the hole would be too small for the dogs to be able to get anything like that out. The weighted feeder ball is a great, indestructible similar option to this if you’re needing something to keep them busy for a longer period, it doesn’t break or get torn up, and can be used to feed a full meal as capacity is much bigger. With almost every king toy I always buy up 2 sizes. There’s a lot of reasons but especially due to the smaller ones being easily torn apart. My dogs just prefer the bigger ones anyway. PLEASE NOTE: it’s important to always remove any toys, feeders, bones, or bowls of food if the pup isn’t currently eating, or playing with the item. They’ll learn bad behavior like grazing, guarding, etc. and it can make it very hard for owners to notice when pets are unwell. (Google for more info). Water is the only thing they should have 24/7 access to without restriction. Hope this helps!Momzymo

This arrived on Friday and by Friday night after my 7 month old Jack Russell Puppy had used it one with kibble in it, it was unsafe. She started to chew little pieces off it and we have had to take it off her. I thought that being a Kong product it would be durable but it wasn't. She did not have it as a toy. it was just used for her kibble to keep her busy while we were eating.JUDY

I cannot rave about this brush ENOUGH! I have a Pug, so as any pug owner can tell you, THEY SHED, and they shed like a big dog would. This brush is incredible for any short haired doggy. When you use it, brush in a circular motion and you can just watch all the loose hairs come up. I was shocked the first time I used this because the amount of hair that it picks up and takes off is nuts. I had been using a regular brush at first for short haired dogs, now I combine the two. I start off with this to loosen the hair, and follow with the regular brush to pick up anything that comes off. This is a miracle brush. OK, I have been humbled. I see you did post my review I wrote last week, where I gave this item only two stars. Well, my dog kept bringing it to me, so I did put in some snacks. They did have to be bigger, so they wouldn't fall out of the big hole all at once. My dog had so much fun with the holder and we use this every morning at 10:30, which is her "treat" time. I have changed this to 4 stars, please delete my last review, if possible. My dog taught me a good lesson…don't make quick decisions, you may have to eat crow.Teri

If you have a small breed, this is the Kong to get. It is a little softer than the regular Kong, so it makes it easier for a small breed to get to the yummies. We have a 12 lb. chihuahua mix and she would give up with the red Kong but this one keeps her occupied – frozen apple with some peanut butter or frozen green beans with a little peanut butter – a "pupsicle" that keeps her occupied doing a natural dog behavior.Walktadawg

Got this to entertain my 16 week old Border Collie puppy when I leave the house. He loved it but destroyed it within about 3 days. Broke through the canvas and got the stuffing out. Just not durable enough for the price! Also a bit of a design flaw that food gets stuck in the smaller pockets and with excessive saliva becomes total mush. Would not recommend.Jess

Our Bernese Mountain Dog loved this toy a little bit too much and chewed through the back end within a day of purchase. Our less "enthusiastic" dog enjoyed the puzzle immensely up until this point. Would only recommend for light chewing animals.Teak

It is hard to find toys to entertain my light chewer but this is his absolute favourite. It has also continued to hold up to repeated use though the velcro needs a deep clean to get out the dog hair to maintain the stick every now and then. I wouldn't recommend for very strong chewers, but those of us with light chewers can often be overlooked in the dog toy department. I bought this for my dog for Christmas and it's the best toy he's ever had. He goes through toys like crazy, they always break and rip and are a danger to him because of small pieces. This toy is super strong and safe for him. I have a pure breed German Shepard fully grown. I take it with us everywhere we go. He never leaves without it. It funs for me and him to play with and it's now starting to tear in the middle but barely. Super strong. Best toy ever for him, I highly recommend this product for extra large and super strong dogs. To say my dog is an "extreme chewer" is a understatement. Fortunately for us he has been focused on his toys/chew toys. He has SUPER STRONG jaws for a lab. I can literally spin him in circles in the air with his jaws locked on a toy. I havent been able to find a toy he doesnt destroy in 5min-1day. He goes through a 8 point buck antler in a month. He is no joke. We tug A LOT too. I actually work out my biceps with this toy and him pulling. Curls:) He LOVES it!! This chew stick was an absolute lifesaver when my puppy Rozko began going through a really bad chewing phase and started tearing up everything in sight. Two Austrailian Cattle dogs, alpha has the whole toy, sidekick uses a broken one. They go out after every meal and practice backbitting. With toy in mouth, dog fangs are covered. Sidekick pokes alpha and she spins beating her sides with the toy. Great fun for backbitting dogs.Peggie Who

It is a chew toy that has lasted well to date. I was advised by another Dobermann owner that it was annoying due to the loud noise it produces, but also that it has been really durable. Both have proven to be correct.ukdiverbob

Let’s just say he loves his balls! Anything round he will chase, doesn’t matter how big or small. But the best ones are the ones that can fit in his mouth, and these are perfect for him. None of the rubber balls ever break apart or are ripped by him despite him playing with it everyday. I’d say he is not a heavy/strong chewer, more on the light/weak side, which makes them last a long time. Why a 4 Star if you say he loves it so much?? That is because the squeakers in them are weak or perhaps I just got a defective one. Apparently, All the squeaks in the balls were working. Then once I gave to him one of the balls, 5min later the squeaker broke inside. The others are working fine when I squeeze them, (have yet to give it to him) but would have like to be expecting they will hold up rather than how soon they will break.Matsue2012

My dogs love these. Not going to lie, when I first purchased these, I didn’t really understand how they worked. I would fill with treats then feel disappointed when it only entertained my dogs 10 minutes. I have since adopted a hyperactive Labrador; while researching ways to calm him down, kongs kept coming up in the blogs. I watched some videos on how to use them for training purposes and have learned how to stuff them in a way that keeps my dogs entertained for a long time. I use a combination of kibble, canned dog food, and other healthy food options, layer it all in the Kong, then freeze. My dogs are stupid excited to see me pull these out of the freezer. I always buy a size larger than I think I need to ensure my dogs don’t choke or get their tongues stuck and that’s worked out great. Very happy with these, we have about 12 of them. Totally recommend to anyone with dogs.shara.m

Amazing! Amazing at entertainment for my dog. Love how we can stick big treats in there and keep him busy whenever we have to leave the house. I think it's a must for training your dog. Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it. So best to keep the toy until you notice any wear or tear. I like how it has multiple sizes and has really good durability.. this is a really good investment for your dog! We have found many creative ways to entertain our husky/German shep/malamute mutt who has high energy and high affinity to treats. 10/10 would recommend. There's also some Kong specific treats you can find meant to fit into the toy to make it very difficult for the dog to remove it. We like that there is a lot of creative ways to use it. We had two on rotation for when our puppy was teething and needed a lot of attention. Frozen treats allowed for the pup to work on the kong. We use it at home mainly but we do bring it over to our friends house when our dog is staying the night because we are out of town. It's just another tool they can use if they find he needs to calm down and focus instead of rambunctious and playing.terri.n

My dogs had this for about a year. He’s a 22 lb Italian Greyhound mix who isn’t destructive (the pic attached is him 🥰). I included this information because I can’t vouch for the durability if you have a chewer. The material seems durable though. It does have a rubber smell that is kind of annoying and it takes a long time to go away. If you’re sensitive to smell you might want to avoid this. It seems to smell the most like rubber when you wash it. It’s easy to wash. I use a little bit of dish soap and hot water to wash it after every use. You don’t have to use the Kong spray in this. You can fill it up with whatever treat/food you want.simply.b

This was the first kong product that I will not be buying again. If you have a little puppy that isn't really a big chewer, awesome cute accessory for their kennel or bed. If you have a dog that takes it as a personal challenge to see the insides of their chew toys, don't do it. It looked like a cotton massacre in their kennels. I suggest the stronger kong chewer that has NO stuffing and a removable squeaker (another personal challenge of mine at 4 in the morning). Still love you kong.leann.a

We bought this for our Rottweiler and she loves it. She will bring it to us then walk away so we can't have it. We are thinking of getting other ones. She eventually tore it open, (but took her way longer than any other similar toy), we just took out the filling and she still carries it around! Having a big strong dog, Kong is the only toys we buy!
