Really quick delivery and looks great, a lot smaller than I imagined I bought a medium/large and it was just a bit bigger than my hand but it was too small to play with my dog with it she kept accidentally biting my fingers! She loved carrying it round and was her favourite toy for little bit, however she promptly chewed it to pieces within 4hours which I was very disappointed with as it was more expensive than other toys and needed something she wouldnt destroy. I bought it because she cant chew through her kong extreme so its not as durable as the other kong toys as it makes out, if youre looking for a durable toy for a dog that likes to chew I wouldnt recommend it for other dogs its a good toy.cjoh8519

I was a little weary ordering this bc some of the reviews said their dog chewed though it easy, but unless their dogs are like part shark and robot—-bc my dog is a big time on purpose destroyer of all toys and big time chewer, she destroyed all her stuff within 24 hours. Next day I went and bought this and she cant even put a dent in it, this toy is pretty tough! Im very pleased with its durability! I do think adding a treat in it makes it more "fun" for the dog, but even without we play fetch with it and she likes it. I recommend.ARoemisch

I bought this toy a few years ago in store at Petco for my 50lb hound/pit mix, she's 5 now, and this has been her favorite toy by a long shot. I actually came on here to look at buying her a second one because she loses it on occasion, usually under furniture or down along the side of my bed, but once I find it for her, she's absolutely ecstatic and will run around in circles barking with joy to have it back. I don't even have to put anything in it, she just loves it as is, though I will on occasion put the kong sweet potato stuff'n in it if she's bored enough. It's also worth noting that she tends to chew straight through almost any toys I get her, but has only ever destroyed one kong toy and it was only because my 75lb husky has broken it first, so whenever I'm looking for new toys for her I go straight to the kong section.Kimiix

Kongs are great dog toys, unless you have serious chewers in your four-legged family. The holes in this biscuit ball make it easier for extreme chewers to tear apart. On the other side, it's a good option to keep your canine busy if you aren't worried about destruction. Try filling with peanut butter versus treats for longer lasting entertainment.jessica.b

My dog loves this ball whether I put treats in it or not. She destroys tennis balls and anything breakable. This ball is thick hard rubber material that withstands her hard play. She will play by herself with this ball during her down times during the day. Bella is a mid sized English Shepherd and this sized ball is perfect for her. I have a English Lab and this would be his 3rd Kong toy. I have: 1. The old fashioned Kong (looks sort of like a michelin man in red) 2. The Small solid Red Kong Ball. I liked the idea of the hollow ball, because Mirrors, etc. have been broken from the solid ball. Well, about 3 hours after I gave Major this ball, he had eaten the bone holes into round circles, and on his way to eating the whole ball. Not a Good Product If you dog has good teeth! My pup loves his bear! Unfortunately he ripped the squeaker out and all the stuffing. I wish I would have seen they put Velcro that would allow the squeaker to be removed. Giving it 5 stars because the toy is as described and pictured. However, my dog does not want to touch it. It's probably because the toy looks realistic or like another stuffed animal for kids. She's such a good girl, she has never touched our child's toys because she knows they are not hers, so she's probably having a hard time reconciling that this one is intended for her. The toy is soft, a good size and the squeaker is removable. For obvious reasons, I can't speak to the toy's durability.PK

I ordered these for my rescue pup for when we leave the house. They're great! She is very attached to me so giving her one of these kongs with peanut butter in her kennel right before we leave works perfectly! They material is very durable! Kong dog toys make great dog chews with added fun! Some dogs love to chew and will chew things just for something to do and having a kong toy on hand to occupy them is a good idea. You can add peanut butter inside the Kong and it will keep them busy trying to get the treat out of it. It provides hours of fun and the dogs don't ever get sick of playing with it and chewing on it. They are made of super durable rubber. They are pretty close to indestructible. They withstand hours and hours of rough play without falling apart and puppies sharp teeth are no match for Kong. I used to buy nylabones but my dogs seem to use the Kong a lot more. I know with my dogs they love anything new they get for a little while and then they kind of get sick of it and stop playing with it. The Kong has really kept My dogs intrest and I think it's because of the added treat inside. My border collie thinks that she was put on this earth to destroy any and everything in get path. She has destroyed many a door and window from her incessant chewing and most toys hold no interest with her but even she loves Kong toys. I don't know about the breath freshening but I can say that the kongs must clean there teeth because of the rubber dragging across the teeth so much as they chew and lick. Its a long lasting toy that will definitely provide lots of fun. They are available at most pet care supply stores. They are a bit expensive, but it's worth it for how long lasting they are. They are a much safer alternative to rawhides or bones. No worry about them choking or swallowing none splinters. Check the Kong for damages before use and it's pretty safe. I think most dogs will love it and it should clean the teeth if they chew on it. I would recommend it to dogs who are energetic or dogs who love to chew. It works great for my dog who looses interest very quickly in toys so if and when she wears hers out I will definitely go out and purchase another for her.lindsey4488

The Kong Bounzer is completely different than the original Kong that you fill with treats or the squeeze flavor stuff. It is shaped similarly, but they serve completely different purposes. The Bounzer comes in medium, large, and extra-large. My dog is about 15 lbs and the medium is about as big as he can handle. This is almost like a ball that's shaped like a giant Kong with a handle on top. It's hollow and made of a thick rubber. It has a teeny tiny hole on the bottom that allows air in and out when you squeeze it, like a squeaker toy, but doesn't make any sound other than air being pushed out. It bounces incredibly high with little control, so you have to be careful on the house, but my dog is absolutely obsessed. My dog destroys toys, like pulls stuffing out in minutes and loves to strip tennis balls of their felt covering, but he has not destroyed this toy. It's definitely in his top three, if not his favorite toy.jennica.b

I gave the xl bounzer to my 19 month old English Staffy at 6.00pm so I could watch the News in peace. By 6.07 pm she had chewed the first hole and by 6.14 the hole was big enough for her to put her head in it. Her first bounzer lasted a couple of hours and I was hoping to get a better value out of this one. If it was possible to give this item zero stars I would. Kong used to be so reliable but sadly their products these days are rubbush (other than the original Kong and Kong ball).Amanda

We got this for our dog when he was a puppy because he is a chewer. He still likes to chew on toys and he is 2 year old rottie. We also have a boxer-rottie who likes to fight with the other dog over this toy. It is durable for big dogs and can really tug at it without breaking it. I believe there is also a black kong which is more durable. This is also good to put treats and peanut butter in to distract the dogs for awhile. Overall great product! This is my 3rd Kong ball. My dog Loves the Medium/Large size. Unfortunately, the way they have the sizing, they have medium/large and large/extra large. The lg/extra lg is a bit too big for my 35 lb dog and I ordered it by accident seeing only the word “large.” Once Petco accepts returns in store again, I will be taking it back. I’ve purchased the med/lg size now as well as purchasing one for a friend. Took away one star for that confusing sizing. Easy to see when you’re in the store but when ordering online, too easy to make a mistake that can’t be easily returned.TBDarren

I bought this to replace a medium version that had been completely trashed. Unfortunately this hasn’t been as robust as I had hoped. The squeak broke almost immediately, followed by the disc where it is located. I only allow ‘supervised’ use, but it was done and dusted within about half an hour’s playtime (2 x 15 minute sessions). She hasn’t managed to remove the tennis ball yet, so we are still enjoying it and I do believe there is a limit to what I can expect given my dog’s size/breed. Just unboxed this and for Maverick 2yr old whippet, it was love at first squeak. Hasn't made it outside yet and he has worn him self out (yippee). Purchased toys for both my daughters dogs and mine for several years now, repeat shopper. dog.com sends merchandise quickly, well packaged. I have never found any defects. Their prices are unbeatable. This Kong toy, octopus dog toy is very sturdy and my 2 matipoos enjoy playing with it. My dogs are 12 lbs each and moderate chewers. Its nice to find a toy that I can grab and they can play tug of war without having something too rough on their mouths. I have have great experience with Kong toys, sturdy and enjoyable items. the only thing I would mention, is that I ordered Large, even though my dogs are 12 lbs, because it was recommended by Dog.com that this toy runs small; they were correct…the toy is perfect in Large for my dogs. We thought this toy would be really fun for our labs and a great way to entertain them. The older one doesn't care for it. Our younger one keeps getting her jaw stuck in the teeth of the toy trying to get any treats we put in, and then it slices up her bottom jaw. You needed a bigger size. Generally, I would recommend sizing up once or twice anyway. The smaller ones are too small and not as thick of material therefore easier for any size dog to tear up. Additionally, if the toy isn’t full of snacks, take it away. Don’t let them chew on the toy itself just as a chew toy. That is another reason why the toy may get damaged. If the dog is focused on getting the snack out, they’ll be much less focused on destructive behaviors and tearing things apart. If you have a puppy, remember they teethe and it HURTS. They self sooth by chewing. Give them things it’s okay to chew on/destroy like Nyla bones (which seriously last forever even in strong determined breeds). Last thing to mention, is that if you really want to go with indestructible, prefer something that’ll keep them busy for a lot longer periods of time, then get the weighted feeder kong balls. I put some dog food into ours along with some soft small very strong smelling treats and my dogs work on this for HOURS. It’s how they get their meals or at least part of their meal each day. You can fed the whole meal this way if you want. They come in different sizes but the biggest size has worked perfectly for all of my dogs (weights range from 35 to 150lbs). They knock it over and the snack or treat falls out of a little hole. Then they keep working on it little by little, it’s really a great option for keeping them distracted! Just be sure to take it away when they’re not using it anymore so they don’t learn to guard it. This is true with any toy, treat, bone, or food. Offer a few times a day then take away when they’re no longer interested. Free feeding is one of the worst habits to start and makes it difficult for owners to tell quickly when something is off with their pet. I learned this the hard way! (Google this if you don’t believe me) I would still consider these Kong balls to be indestructible IF you use them properly. I have huge, strong dogs, a sharp toothed and very busy heeler and both have had theirs for 4 years without incident and not even a puncture mark into either one. I filled with “mini” milk bones and broken in half “small” milk bones but just read another reviewer said they freeze theirs with pnut butter and treats inside. Sounds messy but sounds like a great idea! Cant wait to try! Hope this helps!Momzymo

Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it. So best to keep the toy until you notice any wear or tear. I like how it has multiple sizes and has really good durability.. this is a really good investment for your dog! We have found many creative ways to entertain our husky/German shep/malamute mutt who has high energy and high affinity to treats. 10/10 would recommend. There's also some Kong specific treats you can find meant to fit into the toy to make it very difficult for the dog to remove it. We like that there is a lot of creative ways to use it. We had two on rotation for when our puppy was teething and needed a lot of attention. Frozen treats allowed for the pup to work on the kong. We use it at home mainly but we do bring it over to our friends house when our dog is staying the night because we are out of town. It's just another tool they can use if they find he needs to calm down and focus instead of rambunctious and playing.terri.n

This is the old classic rubber Kong dog toy. I have the regular size and the small size for my boxer and for my Boston terrier. Its shape causes it to bounce in random directions. My dog absolutely loves this toy. I've put everything in that thing. I have broken up some single ingredient treats and stuffed them in Kong. We refer to my dogs as having ADHD, or a very SHORT attention span, but not with this toy they absolutely love it!! . I put treats as well as peanut butter bananas or yogurt then put them in the freezer. The freezing slows down their ability to clean out the inside quickly so the game lasts a little longer. The rubber is hard enough so they cannot chew through it yet soft on their teeth and gums. The hole is large enough to easily fill the inside as well as wash out the inside after use. Definitely buy multiples so that there are some in the freezer ready to go on those hot days or on those days that you just need a little time to get something done while your dog is occupied. All in all I completely recommend these toys for all dogs of any shape and size.Ysabel

Bought dragon kong shaker for 9 month old wolfhound puppy, given on Christmas day, destroyed by Boxing day. Finding it virtually impossible to find toys that last, but one day is not great, hence low scores across the board. Would probably be great for a smaller breed.Anonymous

My dog made teeth marks all over it in a light playing session. She is still a puppy and not very aggressive. I took it away before she ripped it but it will not last long. It looks super dorky, and I love it. My dog loves it even more. He’s a corgi that typically tears through toys within minutes (hours if we’re lucky), and it’s lasted over 24hrs so far.I was skeptical if it would last because of the skinny tentacles, but they’re still hanging on strong. My pup carries it around with him everywhere and acts like it’s his bff so far.I’ll be sure to update if their relationship doesn’t last and they go the Sid and Nancy route. This is the best ‘baby’ for my 5 lb toy poodle who is obsessed with fetch all day until her bedtime. This toy lobs great and its shape is perfect for ‘shake the baby’ (no babies are harmed in this natural canine kill move) and tug of war. It also stands up to the washer, since my little dog likes to get a mouth full of tiny kibble and the toy and come to the living room from the kitchen to eat. I use a Chukit quite regularly to throw balls for my vizsla, but the orange balls don't last very long due to cracking. I bought one of these hoping it would fit and I could use the Chukit to throw it. Slightly loose, but it works well. This is solid ball and will last long. It doesn't bounce as well as the orange balls and is quite a bit heavier, but it still floats in the pool.Ronbo

I bought the large ball for my boxer cross and my husky cross. The boxer had the outer layer destroyed in 30min. In the product description it literally tells you "stands-up to long-lasting chew sessions". 30 minutes is not what I would consider a "long-lasting chew session" considering my boxer has had his rubber "Kong Extreme" for 4 years. 4 Years vs 30min. My dogs love these. Not going to lie, when I first purchased these, I didn’t really understand how they worked. I would fill with treats then feel disappointed when it only entertained my dogs 10 minutes. I have since adopted a hyperactive Labrador; while researching ways to calm him down, kongs kept coming up in the blogs. I watched some videos on how to use them for training purposes and have learned how to stuff them in a way that keeps my dogs entertained for a long time. I use a combination of kibble, canned dog food, and other healthy food options, layer it all in the Kong, then freeze. My dogs are stupid excited to see me pull these out of the freezer. I always buy a size larger than I think I need to ensure my dogs don’t choke or get their tongues stuck and that’s worked out great. Very happy with these, we have about 12 of them. My dogs had this for about a year. He’s a 22 lb Italian Greyhound mix who isn’t destructive (the pic attached is him 🥰). I included this information because I can’t vouch for the durability if you have a chewer. The material seems durable though. It does have a rubber smell that is kind of annoying and it takes a long time to go away. If you’re sensitive to smell you might want to avoid this. It seems to smell the most like rubber when you wash it. It’s easy to wash. I use a little bit of dish soap and hot water to wash it after every use. You don’t have to use the Kong spray in this. You can fill it up with whatever treat/food you want.simply.b
