My Plott Hound is big, hyperactive and obsessive. Several years ago a friend gave him one of these balls and he has been totally focused on it ever since. This past winter he smacked it into the house (brick) when it was 20 degrees outside and the ball cracked. He eventually was able to start taking it apart. That ball was at least 15 years old and possibly older and had been handed down through several dogs. From the moment Belle’s jive ball got here it’s been her go-to ball. Belle, who is a registered wrecking ball, destroys or eviscerates every toy (if you consider my Furnature a toy) we’ve introduced to her. Not the jive. I have an American Staffordshire Terrier and an American Pitbull Terrier. As other owners of these breeds can likely attest they can pretty much destroy anything short of steel and concrete. In order to replace just this piece on my 2012 fusion ford told me i had to buy the whole positive terminal kit which comes with all the wires and looks like an octopus with a pice tag of roughly $145 (retail part). Up to $300-ish installed. All i needed was the terminal but ford said they did not sell this piece alone. So i saw this one and picked it up and had a friend who installs aftermarket radios cut and soder the wires. Worked perfectly. He charged me $30. These balls are 99% indestructible in my opinion. They are larger than a tennis ball so dogs cannot get them in their mouths. They can chew them to their hearts content and leave very little marks if at all. Beware of their strong bounce. Bought Two of these – One for each grand dog home. Shipped to family member where we have Xmas and “Pup Pup”, the resident parcel inspector and delivery announcer went bonkers when the ball was removed from the shipping box. I would recommend this toy for a smaller dog or one who is not a powerful chewer. I know this is not intended to be a chew toy, but realistically, if you have a medium or large dog, they usually have a tendency to chew any toy you put in front of them. I have an English Pointer mix who normally destroys any toy I give him unless I get it from BullyMake or BarkBox. Unfortunately, neither offer a toy that compares to this one in terms of entertainment for your dog. He absolutely loved this toy so it is a shame that he was able to bite chucks out of it within 20 minutes. I can't find the pieces that he took out of it so I'm waiting to see if he passes them. If not, it will be a visit to the vet. He was so sad when I took it away from him and looked at me with those sad brown eyes. I would love to have one of stronger material that he could play with and not have to worry. Make no mistake, this is a, tough, very good quality product and the Dogs seem to like it, however, on grass this flies and bounces as a normal ball and other Canine owners have even suggested that it is even flies on a truer line, it also does not fit easily into my Chuckit launcher I have tried it on a hard surface but still no particular deviation in direction. I have used these balls for a long time in my small chucking for my 2 dogs. Like them a lot. The only problem with this order is that I specifically said I wanted ALL PINK balls. When the order arrived I received no pink balls, but blue and green instead. Called Entirely Pets and was told they were out of pink. This is my 3rd Kong ball. My dog Loves the Medium/Large size. Unfortunately, the way they have the sizing, they have medium/large and large/extra large. The lg/extra lg is a bit too big for my 35 lb dog and I ordered it by accident seeing only the word “large.” Once Petco accepts returns in store again, I will be taking it back. I bought this to replace a medium version that had been completely trashed. Unfortunately this hasn’t been as robust as I had hoped. The squeak broke almost immediately, followed by the disc where it is located. I only allow ‘supervised’ use, but it was done and dusted within about half an hour’s playtime (2 x 15 minute sessions). She hasn’t managed to remove the tennis ball yet, so we are still enjoying it and I do believe there is a limit to what I can expect given my dog’s size/breed. As soon as I opened the package for this ball, my dog’s tail started wagging. He weighs 70 lbs and is string, but this ball has held up great! One thing to keep in mind, as our dog likes to tear things apart, he sometimes manages to get the motor part to rotate inside the rubber outer shell, so, as the user manual states, we always keep an distant eye on him when he plays, and when he does get the motor to rotate, it’s fairly easy to get it back in its spot. We’re so happy to see our dog enjoy his new ball so much, so kudos to Cheerble to have come up with a new version of this product, it really is suited to smaller dogs 😉Charles
We already had an old cheerble but my dog destroyed it pretty quickly with his strong jaw. We weren't able to open it anymore to charge it so it didn't last long. The new SE model is way better for my basset hound. The size is more convenient for him, he loves chasing it and throwing it away, that's really fun to watch. Usually, he's not much of a player but this one keep him busy for a while. The material seems stronger as he hasn't broke it already (even though he manage to turn the inside somehow so not sure how it will age). We'll see how long it last this time. My miniature dachshund loved the ball, but as he does with all balls, he's not interested in chasing or letting it roll around. He pins it down and likes to chew on it- he absolutely adores rubber. He likes to try and pick at bits that give purchase and whilst the ball itself only received surface dents from his teeth, he actually succeeded in spinning the plastic around inside the rubber… How, I'm not sure, but it's now an egg with a gap where the plastic normally fills. Maybe I can try and re-spin it to make it usable again, but unfortunately as much as he loves it, it's not something I can leave him alone with. Heavily dependant on your dog's breed and fixation patterns. Alas, not suitable for mine, I think. Great product and a great idea otherwise, but I'd be interested to hear which dogs just let it roll around!John S.

The ball is certainly great for standard use if your dog is just about playing fetch or chasing the ball around. But if your dog is a strong chewer, these tennis balls are not durable. I have a two year old Siberian Husky who loves to chew on things, including her tennis balls after she gets tired of chasing them around. She’s torn several of these Petco tennis balls into pieces in a matter of minutes, versus a gently used regular tennis ball that we found in the yard that took her well over a month to even pierce and split in half. The only reason I keep giving her the Petco tennis balls is because I bought several at once and want to use them up before I buy regular tennis balls. On the plus side, my husky continues to play with the torn up ball even after it’s already been obliterated so she gets at least a solid day out of it. I purchased this ball last week. It was the perfect size to teach my dogs to play fetch. My dachshund, Max, is ahead of the class since he is the only one that actually goes to fetch the ball. His siblings just chase him and try to get the ball from him. I guess his version is called "tag the doxie". Lol. Go with the flow. This ball came and looked like a plastic hard ball from the dollar store. Very disappointed. It's not a dog toy material. Our dog roughed up and chewed the outside in 15 minutes. I bought this toy for my little french bull dogs first birthday. Seeing it capabilities online I was immediately impressed and intrigued with self play and the balls ability to get out from under areas the dog might have trouble with since my girlfriend is in her studies from home and her work is constantly interrupted from our dog whining about a ball trapped under somewhere. This product seemed to be perfect. I ordered it. Within a week I see cheerble is now advertising a new version of the ball, felt like I missed out on a new improved design but was eager to see what the wicked ball W1 still had to offer. The ball showed up two weeks after and both my pet and I were excited. I got it out of the packaging read the manual and gave it to my French bull dog eager to play. She immediately took to it and could tell she was obsessed. This seemed all too good to be true. And it was…. In less than ten minutes our Frenchie had managed to get the clear plastic ring from the centre apart from the shell and dismantle the shell….maybe I should have got a replacement one but don't believe I should have to pay $10 to give my dog 10minutes of play… That is not sustainable living… Not for us anyways… Perhaps the new design is more durable but after spending $60+ for a ball after tax and shipping that couldn't withstand a 25lb pup I'm not to eager to dish it out again…. This ball was amazing at first. First day I used it my frenchie was obsessed however 10 mins in, I notice a piece was already broken off. Customer support was super nice and sent me a new shell with no problem, however when it arrived and I went to use it again, the shell wouldn’t close fully so it wouldn’t work. Like it was always lose fitting and after 10 seconds of playing, the shell was fully open. I got the shell to my apartment at school so by the time I was able to give it to my dog was about a month after I had received it so I never put in another request for a new one as I had no way to prove that it didn’t work since day 1. I’m hoping I was just unlucky as this was an amazing idea for a product that I loved when it did work, I’m just sad I spent so so much money for it to not work on me twice. I am not kidding, If we go outside he has to have the orange and blue ball, the rubber ones though specifically.I’ve tried almost every product that chuck it comes out with, the mainly blue n orange ones, the XL ball, frisbees, glow one, he loves them yes, but this one by far has his heart.
