Kong Dog Toy Peanut Butter For Sale (2024 Update)

Note: Kong Easy Treat, we have the liver one but I can’t find that specific variety on here. A liver paste safe for dogs and boy does this dog love it. He goes crazy for it. Fortunately it is in a squeeze tube so it lasts for quite a while but on the down side it’s really difficult to figure out how to get the product to come out. You have to push the nib sideways which strikes me as a bit odd. Initially we bought it to go with a Kong toy we had purchased, however we soon realised that this would be the perfect filler for the lick mat we had for him too. Once we had discovered how to get it out of the nib, we found this was perfectly shaped to fill the pattern in the matt which has proven to be a tricky task before now. Together they have kept our pooch entertained for ages and that’s been quite handy at times, especially as Rottweilers are an intelligent breed which need mental stimulation to keep them at their happiest. This is literally kryptonite for our brothers puppy. The second he sees the can; he’ll immediately sit down, start giving you his paw… haha and you haven’t even asked him to do anything yet. It’s definitely an easy way to add a little bit to their Kong or hollow bone and a little goes a very long way. Kong actually has some healthy recipes that you can make and fill the long with for your puppy. All in all, a great way to keep them occupied.louis.j

My dogs absolutely love this stuff. We have one dog who is picky about food and even treats, but she goes crazy when I get out the can. It has a lot of junk ingredients, but my dogs are healthy and I'm OK with them having junk food every once in a while. The can stays clean and it lasts for a reasonably long time for the price. my pup really likes these. i use these as toppers to whatever i’m stuffing their kongs with and they really like them. Even as serve alone treats! I have two german shepherds. they also fit pretty well into the kong that they are sized for. i will definitely be keeping them around!jessica.d

I put these into my dog's Kong ball and Kong bone and he loves them! He excitedly waits for me to stuff his treat dispenser toys with them and is very enthusiastic about going after his toys with these in them. My only concern is that a protein isn't the first ingredient but with a crude protein content of 18%, it's better than lots of other dog treats out there.Dog and Bunny Mom

Also the best part is your fur baby can’t destroy these toys, which means no emergency vet visits because they can’t eat pieces off or swallow it! They are heavy duty so even large dogs like German Shepherds, pit bulls, huskies, labs ect. Can play with these toys and not destroy them in a matter of seconds!makenzee.r

I purchased this and picked up at the door. I was unable to see the product – but when I opened it one was broken. However, it still worked – just made it easier for my pup to be able to demolish it faster! Would purchase again and be mindful of the product (i.e. feel the bag to see if they are intact).Caiman

Got the M for M kong, MAKE SURE TO REMEMBER TO TWIST once inserted so it stays in better – less prone to 1-bite-chomp-and-crumble-and-veryquicklydevoured. My medium dog sometimes finishes the outside bell part then gives up on the still-intact cylinder of nubbins (and other treats) still inside, so I may walk over and squeeze the kong to help break the leftover chunk into easier to lick-out bits. My pup did NOT like this when it was on the kong. I ended up having to take it out and let him chew on it apart from the kong. he seems to like it like that, and it’s lasted a few minutes now. i’m hoping if he eats the one separately he’ll understand how to eat it on the kong too, but he just doesn’t seem super interested or happy with the taste or texture.HannahBronfman

You needed a bigger size. Generally, I would recommend sizing up once or twice anyway. The smaller ones are too small and not as thick of material therefore easier for any size dog to tear up. Additionally, if the toy isn’t full of snacks, take it away. Don’t let them chew on the toy itself just as a chew toy. That is another reason why the toy may get damaged. If the dog is focused on getting the snack out, they’ll be much less focused on destructive behaviors and tearing things apart. If you have a puppy, remember they teethe and it HURTS. They self sooth by chewing. Give them things it’s okay to chew on/destroy like Nyla bones (which seriously last forever even in strong determined breeds). Last thing to mention, is that if you really want to go with indestructible, prefer something that’ll keep them busy for a lot longer periods of time, then get the weighted feeder kong balls. I put some dog food into ours along with some soft small very strong smelling treats and my dogs work on this for HOURS. It’s how they get their meals or at least part of their meal each day. You can fed the whole meal this way if you want. They come in different sizes but the biggest size has worked perfectly for all of my dogs (weights range from 35 to 150lbs). They knock it over and the snack or treat falls out of a little hole. Then they keep working on it little by little, it’s really a great option for keeping them distracted! Just be sure to take it away when they’re not using it anymore so they don’t learn to guard it. This is true with any toy, treat, bone, or food. Offer a few times a day then take away when they’re no longer interested. Free feeding is one of the worst habits to start and makes it difficult for owners to tell quickly when something is off with their pet. I learned this the hard way! (Google this if you don’t believe me) I would still consider these Kong balls to be indestructible IF you use them properly. I have huge, strong dogs, a sharp toothed and very busy heeler and both have had theirs for 4 years without incident and not even a puncture mark into either one. I filled with “mini” milk bones and broken in half “small” milk bones but just read another reviewer said they freeze theirs with pnut butter and treats inside. Sounds messy but sounds like a great idea! Cant wait to try! Hope this helps!Momzymo

Amazing! Amazing at entertainment for my dog. Love how we can stick big treats in there and keep him busy whenever we have to leave the house. I think it's a must for training your dog. Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it. So best to keep the toy until you notice any wear or tear. I like how it has multiple sizes and has really good durability.. this is a really good investment for your dog! We have found many creative ways to entertain our husky/German shep/malamute mutt who has high energy and high affinity to treats. 10/10 would recommend. There's also some Kong specific treats you can find meant to fit into the toy to make it very difficult for the dog to remove it. We like that there is a lot of creative ways to use it. We had two on rotation for when our puppy was teething and needed a lot of attention. Frozen treats allowed for the pup to work on the kong. We use it at home mainly but we do bring it over to our friends house when our dog is staying the night because we are out of town. It's just another tool they can use if they find he needs to calm down and focus instead of rambunctious and playing.terri.n

This is the old classic rubber Kong dog toy. I have the regular size and the small size for my boxer and for my Boston terrier. Its shape causes it to bounce in random directions. My dog absolutely loves this toy. I've put everything in that thing. I have broken up some single ingredient treats and stuffed them in Kong. We refer to my dogs as having ADHD, or a very SHORT attention span, but not with this toy they absolutely love it!! . I put treats as well as peanut butter bananas or yogurt then put them in the freezer. The freezing slows down their ability to clean out the inside quickly so the game lasts a little longer. The rubber is hard enough so they cannot chew through it yet soft on their teeth and gums. The hole is large enough to easily fill the inside as well as wash out the inside after use. Definitely buy multiples so that there are some in the freezer ready to go on those hot days or on those days that you just need a little time to get something done while your dog is occupied. All in all I completely recommend these toys for all dogs of any shape and size.Ysabel

The toy is durable to handle our Bichon Frise puppy’s constant chewing and is the right size for him to carry it around with him. We have been a little dab of organic peanut butter inside the toys and raises the fun factor ten fold. I would highly recommend this toy. We will look into a bigger toy once he grows into an adult. I use this to serve my puppy his Kong Ziggy treats. It helps him grip the treat with his paws. I have not tried stuffing it with gooey things that the manufacturer suggests because I don't want that mess being dragged around the house. However it works fine with the Ziggy treats. I chose to buy a second Kong toy since he likes it so much.MomE

By far this has become my pups 2nd favorite toy (her first, as she seems to be taking after her sister who passed away before Paisley even came home, is her Lamb Chop). Within seconds of me opening this from the packaging, she was playing with it WITHOUT anything in it … it is a perfect softness (yet strong enough) to soothe her teething. Then I rubbed some all natural peanut butter in it and LOOK OUT … the minute I grab the toy, she's whimpering with excitement and then spends a good hour concentrating on getting the peanut butter out, loving every minute of it. This would really be beneficial for dogs with separation anxiety or rowdy puppies that you need to calm down if you're in the middle of something. And even greater for teething pups who will latch onto anything (even what they're not supposed to) because it keeps their focus for a long, long time!
