Well… I have a super chewer who destroys everything and this thing is still alive a month after Christmas. That sounds like a good thing, EXCEPT the squeaker on this thing is so LOUD I really want it to die. It is deafening. We literally put it up on a high shelf when anyone is sleeping or on the phone because it is that loud. The dog loves it. It's holding up well. It's cute. But be warned that it is loud.LP

So happy we decided to get this for our new girl. She has destroyed "EVERYTHING" we've tried. She likes to squeak it. Someone said it wasn't too loud. But… we think it is. Maybe our ears are sensitive. We'll deal with it as she loves it. She throws, squeaks, chews it and so far its holding up. Some say not good for chewers. But our girl normally destroys all things we've gotten. Even some KONG things. So the fact this has lasted over 2 weeks is a bonus. Will be buying another one as don't want to have this one disappear & she not have it. All in all very happy with it. Hope this doesn't jinks it lol. Guess you just have to decide yourself as there are good & bad reviews of it. We're happy with it. Like the handles on it as makes it easy to pick up, toss & play tug.Jo

I bought this a day ago. Loaded it with treats and watched my little pup walk it through the living room. Watched little trails of red plastic litter the floor within the first five minutes. My little pup is not a chewer. I have never seen a Kong toy disintegrate ever, never mind crumble like this. You can watch like a hawk… this gyro dog toy will not last 15 minutes.jackinbox

My dogs LOVE this more than any kong toy. They just need to update it to be a sturdy material like the other kong items. It lasted 2-3 months but eventually the dogs tore it to shreds. Literally shreds. I would still re buy it though due to how many hours use we got out of it. But I would rather spend a little more for a better version of this that is just not as prone to being torn up (as other reviewers mentioned and posted pics of, this is eventually what happened to ours, too). I filled with some dog food mixed with some soft training sized treats to really get their attention. Wouldn’t put peanut butter or anything like that in this. Would use it more as a feeder toy with dry or soft treats or food. Not wet though as the hole would be too small for the dogs to be able to get anything like that out. The weighted feeder ball is a great, indestructible similar option to this if you’re needing something to keep them busy for a longer period, it doesn’t break or get torn up, and can be used to feed a full meal as capacity is much bigger. With almost every king toy I always buy up 2 sizes. There’s a lot of reasons but especially due to the smaller ones being easily torn apart. My dogs just prefer the bigger ones anyway. PLEASE NOTE: it’s important to always remove any toys, feeders, bones, or bowls of food if the pup isn’t currently eating, or playing with the item. They’ll learn bad behavior like grazing, guarding, etc. and it can make it very hard for owners to notice when pets are unwell. (Google for more info). This arrived on Friday and by Friday night after my 7 month old Jack Russell Puppy had used it one with kibble in it, it was unsafe. She started to chew little pieces off it and we have had to take it off her. I thought that being a Kong product it would be durable but it wasn't. She did not have it as a toy. it was just used for her kibble to keep her busy while we were eating.JUDY

We thought this toy would be really fun for our labs and a great way to entertain them. The older one doesn't care for it. Our younger one keeps getting her jaw stuck in the teeth of the toy trying to get any treats we put in, and then it slices up her bottom jaw. We've had to stop using it for food dispensing and only for playing with.ESho

The Kong Bounzer is completely different than the original Kong that you fill with treats or the squeeze flavor stuff. It is shaped similarly, but they serve completely different purposes. The Bounzer comes in medium, large, and extra-large. My dog is about 15 lbs and the medium is about as big as he can handle. This is almost like a ball that's shaped like a giant Kong with a handle on top. It's hollow and made of a thick rubber. It has a teeny tiny hole on the bottom that allows air in and out when you squeeze it, like a squeaker toy, but doesn't make any sound other than air being pushed out. It bounces incredibly high with little control, so you have to be careful on the house, but my dog is absolutely obsessed. My dog destroys toys, like pulls stuffing out in minutes and loves to strip tennis balls of their felt covering, but he has not destroyed this toy. It's definitely in his top three, if not his favorite toy.jennica.b

I gave the xl bounzer to my 19 month old English Staffy at 6.00pm so I could watch the News in peace. By 6.07 pm she had chewed the first hole and by 6.14 the hole was big enough for her to put her head in it. Her first bounzer lasted a couple of hours and I was hoping to get a better value out of this one. If it was possible to give this item zero stars I would. Kong used to be so reliable but sadly their products these days are rubbush (other than the original Kong and Kong ball).Amanda

We got this for our dog when he was a puppy because he is a chewer. He still likes to chew on toys and he is 2 year old rottie. We also have a boxer-rottie who likes to fight with the other dog over this toy. It is durable for big dogs and can really tug at it without breaking it. I believe there is also a black kong which is more durable. This is also good to put treats and peanut butter in to distract the dogs for awhile. Overall great product! I cannot rave about this brush ENOUGH! I have a Pug, so as any pug owner can tell you, THEY SHED, and they shed like a big dog would. This brush is incredible for any short haired doggy. When you use it, brush in a circular motion and you can just watch all the loose hairs come up. I was shocked the first time I used this because the amount of hair that it picks up and takes off is nuts. I had been using a regular brush at first for short haired dogs, now I combine the two. I start off with this to loosen the hair, and follow with the regular brush to pick up anything that comes off. This is a miracle brush. OK, I have been humbled. I see you did post my review I wrote last week, where I gave this item only two stars. Well, my dog kept bringing it to me, so I did put in some snacks. They did have to be bigger, so they wouldn't fall out of the big hole all at once. My dog had so much fun with the holder and we use this every morning at 10:30, which is her "treat" time. If you have a small breed, this is the Kong to get. It is a little softer than the regular Kong, so it makes it easier for a small breed to get to the yummies. We have a 12 lb. chihuahua mix and she would give up with the red Kong but this one keeps her occupied – frozen apple with some peanut butter or frozen green beans with a little peanut butter – a "pupsicle" that keeps her occupied doing a natural dog behavior.Walktadawg

A little disappointed that it's not as crackly as I'd have expected. I have played with far more crackly dog toys and this one you really have to press into to hear and feel it. I have a toy cavoodle and balls are her favourite. On top of that, she loves anything that squeeks or crackles. I was expecting this to become her new favourite but while she loves that it's bouncy and she can basically play fetch with it herself, the crackling part of it isn't that much of a factor. When our golden retriever was a puppy, we bought him so many of the Kong brand toys. This particular one is completely round with a hole in the middle. We would often fill it with dog safe peanut butter and then freeze it. We also would fill it with treats and let him have a blast trying to get them out. Kong has been my go to brand primarily because I went through many 'toys' before I found the ONE that lasts even with big chewing. As a puppy both my papillon and english bulldogs could destroy a toy in a record window of time. This brand may cost a bit more but the quality and durability has made me a believer. They have a good range of chewy toys and the label is accurate to the level of 'bite'.tamie.l

The toy is durable to handle our Bichon Frise puppy’s constant chewing and is the right size for him to carry it around with him. We have been a little dab of organic peanut butter inside the toys and raises the fun factor ten fold. I would highly recommend this toy. We will look into a bigger toy once he grows into an adult. I use this to serve my puppy his Kong Ziggy treats. It helps him grip the treat with his paws. I have not tried stuffing it with gooey things that the manufacturer suggests because I don't want that mess being dragged around the house. However it works fine with the Ziggy treats. By far this has become my pups 2nd favorite toy (her first, as she seems to be taking after her sister who passed away before Paisley even came home, is her Lamb Chop). Within seconds of me opening this from the packaging, she was playing with it WITHOUT anything in it … it is a perfect softness (yet strong enough) to soothe her teething. Then I rubbed some all natural peanut butter in it and LOOK OUT … the minute I grab the toy, she's whimpering with excitement and then spends a good hour concentrating on getting the peanut butter out, loving every minute of it. This would really be beneficial for dogs with separation anxiety or rowdy puppies that you need to calm down if you're in the middle of something. And even greater for teething pups who will latch onto anything (even what they're not supposed to) because it keeps their focus for a long, long time! If your dog is like my dog, there is that ONE toy that they neglect 35 other toys for and choose every time. This is THAT TOY. My Riley is a 70-ish-lb lab and is a pretty medium chewer. Not soft by any means, but she’s pretty cool about damage control when she wants a toy to last. Is our Wubba a little worn and torn? Yes. Is it still holding up over a year later? Yes. I was so excited to see Kong had made a soft chew toy! I have probably bought about every single toy besides the two i bought today to add to their collection. Every kong I bought has incredible longevity. this toy he was the most excited about, he loves squeaky soft toys but literally runs through them in 2 minutes. and since it was made from kong, i had total confidence in the durability. boy was i wrong, i gave it to him 10 minutes ago and there’s already a hole in the top. In the future i hope the company reformulates the nylon for the most durable chewers! Great thought, just not perfected yet.hpett2

We have a 9 year old staffy X fox terrier who loves to chew and also throw toys around. We got this because we read how durable it was. However after a few months she'd managed to put a hole in it and the string stuff that comes off it is kind of dangerous if ingested… She swallowed a huge wad of string and we had to call the vet in fear of a blockage in her bowel… Just be warned and be careful and monitor your pet if they have a strong chew.Kara

So my French Bulldog really loves his large Kong pacifier treat dispenser. And you don't even have to put treats in it for him to carry it around. It's very durable considering that usually he is able to tear up any kind of toys with in about a minute or less. Got got it from PetSmart for about seven or eight $10 somewhere in between that. Usually he'll carry all his toys outside or try to but this one he purposefully leaves in side so that way he doesn't lose it. And he looks so adorable whenever he actually has it in the correct way. Not even used for treats it's amazing and he still loves it.katy.s

I really like this toy for pups who love and are strong chewers. It keeps them entertained for hours. I like how in the inside of the tire ring, you can place treat inside so it can give your pup something to do when you are busy or it is time for settle time. The only thing I would say is to be vigilant when playing with this tire because your pup's bottom jaw can get stuck if you get one too small for their muzzle. Other than that, great product!norma.m

I've used a lot of different products. However, Only Natural Pet is the one that works the best. We have six indoor cats and it is a challenge to keep the house smelling fresh. Thankfully, we have a large screened in porch. That porch coupled with Only Natural does the trick.Patricia W.

My dogs love these. Not going to lie, when I first purchased these, I didn’t really understand how they worked. I would fill with treats then feel disappointed when it only entertained my dogs 10 minutes. I have since adopted a hyperactive Labrador; while researching ways to calm him down, kongs kept coming up in the blogs. I watched some videos on how to use them for training purposes and have learned how to stuff them in a way that keeps my dogs entertained for a long time. I use a combination of kibble, canned dog food, and other healthy food options, layer it all in the Kong, then freeze. My dogs are stupid excited to see me pull these out of the freezer. I always buy a size larger than I think I need to ensure my dogs don’t choke or get their tongues stuck and that’s worked out great. Very happy with these, we have about 12 of them. Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it. So best to keep the toy until you notice any wear or tear. I like how it has multiple sizes and has really good durability.. this is a really good investment for your dog! We have found many creative ways to entertain our husky/German shep/malamute mutt who has high energy and high affinity to treats. 10/10 would recommend. There's also some Kong specific treats you can find meant to fit into the toy to make it very difficult for the dog to remove it. We like that there is a lot of creative ways to use it. We had two on rotation for when our puppy was teething and needed a lot of attention. Frozen treats allowed for the pup to work on the kong. We use it at home mainly but we do bring it over to our friends house when our dog is staying the night because we are out of town. It's just another tool they can use if they find he needs to calm down and focus instead of rambunctious and playing.terri.n

My dogs had this for about a year. He’s a 22 lb Italian Greyhound mix who isn’t destructive (the pic attached is him 🥰). I included this information because I can’t vouch for the durability if you have a chewer. The material seems durable though. It does have a rubber smell that is kind of annoying and it takes a long time to go away. If you’re sensitive to smell you might want to avoid this. It seems to smell the most like rubber when you wash it. It’s easy to wash. I use a little bit of dish soap and hot water to wash it after every use. You don’t have to use the Kong spray in this. You can fill it up with whatever treat/food you want.simply.b

You needed a bigger size. Generally, I would recommend sizing up once or twice anyway. The smaller ones are too small and not as thick of material therefore easier for any size dog to tear up. Additionally, if the toy isn’t full of snacks, take it away. Don’t let them chew on the toy itself just as a chew toy. That is another reason why the toy may get damaged. If the dog is focused on getting the snack out, they’ll be much less focused on destructive behaviors and tearing things apart. If you have a puppy, remember they teethe and it HURTS. They self sooth by chewing. Give them things it’s okay to chew on/destroy like Nyla bones (which seriously last forever even in strong determined breeds). Last thing to mention, is that if you really want to go with indestructible, prefer something that’ll keep them busy for a lot longer periods of time, then get the weighted feeder kong balls. I put some dog food into ours along with some soft small very strong smelling treats and my dogs work on this for HOURS. It’s how they get their meals or at least part of their meal each day. You can fed the whole meal this way if you want. They come in different sizes but the biggest size has worked perfectly for all of my dogs (weights range from 35 to 150lbs). They knock it over and the snack or treat falls out of a little hole. Then they keep working on it little by little, it’s really a great option for keeping them distracted! Just be sure to take it away when they’re not using it anymore so they don’t learn to guard it. This is true with any toy, treat, bone, or food. Offer a few times a day then take away when they’re no longer interested. Free feeding is one of the worst habits to start and makes it difficult for owners to tell quickly when something is off with their pet. I learned this the hard way! (Google this if you don’t believe me) I would still consider these Kong balls to be indestructible IF you use them properly. I have huge, strong dogs, a sharp toothed and very busy heeler and both have had theirs for 4 years without incident and not even a puncture mark into either one. I filled with “mini” milk bones and broken in half “small” milk bones but just read another reviewer said they freeze theirs with pnut butter and treats inside. Sounds messy but sounds like a great idea! Cant wait to try! Hope this helps!Momzymo

This is the old classic rubber Kong dog toy. I have the regular size and the small size for my boxer and for my Boston terrier. Its shape causes it to bounce in random directions. My dog absolutely loves this toy. I've put everything in that thing. I have broken up some single ingredient treats and stuffed them in Kong. We refer to my dogs as having ADHD, or a very SHORT attention span, but not with this toy they absolutely love it!! . I put treats as well as peanut butter bananas or yogurt then put them in the freezer. The freezing slows down their ability to clean out the inside quickly so the game lasts a little longer. The rubber is hard enough so they cannot chew through it yet soft on their teeth and gums. The hole is large enough to easily fill the inside as well as wash out the inside after use. Definitely buy multiples so that there are some in the freezer ready to go on those hot days or on those days that you just need a little time to get something done while your dog is occupied. All in all I completely recommend these toys for all dogs of any shape and size.Ysabel
