Remnants of multiple destroyed Jolly Tugs litter the house and yard, still objects to chew, or be chased when thrown. Eventually the destroyed Jolly Tugs make it to the trash and we treat her to a brand one for renewed excitement. While I can understand negative reviewers complaints that their dog(s) destroy the toy in short order, we appreciate that the toy is the object of our pup’s destructive tendencies rather than our furniture or our shoes. Thank you for making such an awesome toy that my eight month old pit mix weighing in at 65 lbs (last month!). She's only had it an hour, the squeeker quit working but who cares. I am so glad you asked. I have had two of these balls before and left them at my old residence for some other dogs to enjoy. They lasted for years and even after being punctured they still held their shape. The handledles were a SOLID material. MY current new pup after getting over being terrified of it has now after just a short time eaten most of the handle. The handle is not solid material inside. I am very dissapointed since this was a wonderfull toy and about the only one that my dogs could bot distroy. I hope the company rethinks any cost cutting they may have done and bring back the old quality Jolly Ball. I will buy another one when that happened. Lady loves this little ball. It isn't much bigger than a tennis ball, but I think the handle helps keep her from accidentally swallowing it. She does like to chew on the handle, which doesn't seem as resilient as the rest of the ball. Overall it is an excellent bouncing ball and she can really chew on the ball with no damage. It is hollow with a hole in the bottom, I guess for tiny treats, but it seems to help make the ball more flexible. I LOVE these toys not only does it put up with my 130 pound (and growing) pup but it also got ran over the other day… by a 30,000 pound zoomboom 🤦♀️ We thought it was done for, it was smushed and in the mud but when we cleaned it off it re-inflated!! No holes or anything! Thank god too because my boy loves his and so does his mini horse friend 😝! My dog likes to pop holes in toys and rip others apart but he never can with this one, he smooshes it so the air makes a sound then it fills back up! We find its great for tug of war, fetch and even chewing! Definitely recommend!Jade T.

If your dog like to destroy things either monitor them or don't buy this. My dogs love jumping into the pool after them and they last a few years. My German Shepherds will destroy things if I give them a chance. They ALL ( I have 3) love these balls! The rope could be bigger or come with bigger knots,,,, I add a knot to keep the rope from coming out. But the balls are great fun! My dogs favorite toys. That being said, These are toys that need to be used with humans. If you just leave the dog to his own devices he will chew it apart. Simple solution is to play with your dog. YAS! AMAZING! We throw this sucker on a tennis court and it won't break, the only complaint I have that isn't the balls fault but maybe you should think about before you buy this one is that our boys face gets very bloody pushing this around. So we looked into Holly's soft version and we will be getting that one shortly. Our rescue is a border collie and australian cattle dog mix. She has always been very timid and we've never been able to find a toy she likes. We did notice however she spent all her free time trying to herd our other dog. We got her this and took to it immediately, she absolutely loves this. It is so wonderful to find a toy that she finally enjoys! And might save our other dog from constantly being herded. She herded it with her nose from the start rather than her teeth, so the issue of it getting sharp from chewing is not a problem for her.Alex
This is hands down our most coveted toy. Our dog Captain is a 100lb American Bulldog who destroys everything…but this! We found it at a pet store 4 years ago and fear the day it decides to fall apart. Anyone who knows our dog knows that RedBall (ours is red so we just cal it that haha) is LIFE. Nothing else matters.
