An old doggo with a history of ear "dirt" that required weekly cleaning, applied these drops for a week and the results were impressive. Using a cotton ball to remove the residue (and icky stuff), and she clearly hears better. Dempsey is a Golden Retriever with large heavy ears. He loves to swim. I highly recommend this product. I’ve been using Zymox for years. My terrier mix has Ear Edge Dermatitis. It’s incurable and usually tears up the edges of the ear from constant cell overgrowth (auto immune) and dogs will be plagued with constant ear issues and itching. When I notice him itching, I put a few drops in ear and massage into ear canals, then rub into the edges of ears. Do this for a couple days, itching stops, ears are clean and have a healthy pink look. It’ll be several weeks before he starts itching again. I've always liked Zymox products, but this one really impressed me! GSD/BC mix has had continual ear issues since having a hematoma drained in her right ear. The ear lays over and is full of thicker tissue which seems to hold in a ton of moisture. This last bout of pain and scratching was making her (and me!) absolutely crazy and, after a week of use, the regular Zymox I always have on hand just wasn't cutting it. I have an English Cocker, with long heavy ears. She is prone to ear infections. My vet recommended this product. I put it into both ear canals, and then rub the top of the ears for 30 seconds, making sure I get that wet, squishy sound. I do it three times a week, and she has not had an ear infection for 2 years! The only negative is that it has a little bit of a chemical/perfume smell while it is still wet. As soon as it dries, there is no smell. When the house is cold, I put the container in the microwave for about 5 seconds. My poodle has a lot of ear hair that needs to be cleaned often. In between baths, the smell can get kinda funky. Used this ear rinse to see if it would help and it does. It keeps the waxy smell away longer but it's not mask any existing smells. It's easy enough to use and my dog doesn't seem to mind it too much. I would definitely keep using this product since it keeps the freshness in between baths and if it helps prevent ear infections. I shared this product with my friend with a lab that loves to swim and gets constant ear infections. Hopefully this will work for her too!Jenn
I was given the opportunity to try the Vetericyn plus antimicrobial ear rinse for free. I did like this product over others I've used in the past. Other products have a smell and my dogs walk around smelling like it after getting their ears cleaned. What I like about Vetericyn Plus is that it has no odor to it so my dogs can have clean ears without smelling like chemicals afterwards. I also like that this product is safe in the case that your pet ingests it. I think it did a great job of cleaning out my dogs ears and I haven't noticed any wax build up yet since the last time I used it. I think this is a good product to try!Jackie

Found this ear rinse for dogs at Walmart by Pet Armor brand. It's priced very reasonably at under five dollars tax an all so it's affordable for most pet parents. We had no choice but to find a safe ear cleaning solution bc our dogs are pitty's with unclipped ears so they're prone to dirt/wounds. This solution seemed to work very well without causing further irritation. After rinsing, wiping out, and cleaning his ears we've noticed a huge decline in his head shaking/scratching so I'd say it's definitely a great pet parent item to have on hand!megan.p
I have a West Highland White Terrier and he has had ear infections practically from day one.
