This is one of the best products I've purchased for my little guy thus far. Very rugged and sturdy, and while my little guy is a tad too small for their extra small size, with my needing to do a temporary shoring up on the straps, until he grows into it (if he ever grows into it; him being a teacup chihuahua and whippet mix and weighing in at only 7lbs at a year and 8 months), my furbaby feels ultra secure, and doesn't pull the way he used to with a different brand/type service dog vest he used to wear; he walks with a ton of confidence even while wearing his winter coat which has significantly made training him through our walks, that much easier. I'd say from observing him in it; this was by far, the best purchase of a vest for him so far; I'm confident, I will never buy another brand from here on out. The yellow is ugly, but for the dark winters in the northeast, I want my little girl to be visible to cars. She's blind, but has a will of her own. I purchased the first harness for a mini Australian Shepard (40 pounds) who was hard to find the correct size for but it fit so well and It was so easy to fasten on a fidgety dog that I ordered her another one. Then I ordered one for each of my sons dogs. He has a dachshund (14 pounds) and most harnesses slip over her head but this harness fits perfectly and does not slip off. I was so excited to receive these harnesses, our dogs have been going on a lot of hikes lately and it was time to upgrade their gear. These were a little pricier than I was used to, but they looked so great I decided to go for it. I measured both dogs and used the size chart, but I was so disappointed when they arrived and are so snug on both dogs despite adjusting the clips. I feel like if they wear them they'll rub their arm pits. The teal is also a little darker than I expected. Otherwise, the purple is stunning and the names are printed correctly and look adorable. I really wanted to like this harness and the price seemed unbeatable. I guess you get what you pay for. My dog hates the harness and it continues to rub under her arms however I adjust it. Maybe it is a great small/medium dog harness, but not for a large breed pup/dog. My Great Dane pul is really tough and didn't cry about her cuts, but instead refused to walk or tried to bite it off. I have a pretty hairy long coat akita and I wanted to get a harness type to help with his stability and girth. He is an older dog so he doesn't pull per se but he does like to sniff other smells and I often need to pull him away from those. This harness is okay for that. I found that it doesn't fit him quite the way I would like it to and it slips around and the metal connection at the top slides through that fitting all the time and doesn't stay in the appropriate place (XXL).
