Greenies Large Dental Dog Treats For Sale (2025 Update)

Our dogs have all loved Greenies, even the picky eaters. We use them daily to help control plaque build up and keep our dogs teeth healthy. Roxie absolutely loves Greenies Blueberry Teenie Weenie's as she begs for them morning treat. She will bark at me and do her Roxie crawl to get me to give her these treats and they smell incredible with real blueberryjane.p

Run, run, run to the store to get these for your pups! I have two mixed breed pups aged 5 and 4 and they LOVE these treats. My one pup who is a terrier mix is so picky about everything. Food, treats, you name it! If he doesn’t like it, he turns his little nose up at it and walks away. My other pup is a golden mix and is not picky at all. He eats whatever we put out for him. He won’t eat his dog food unless mixed well with a raw egg, has seasonal allergies up to Ying Yang and up until about 3 years ago wouldn’t touch a dog treat no matter what we tossed at him. Of all the dental chews for dogs we have tried, Greenies work the best and they do not upset our mixed Border Collies stomach like others. Our dog has issues with tarter build up even from a very young age that the vet attributes to genetics. I brush his teeth several times a week in combo with giving him a Greenie everyday. The Greenies seem to make more of a difference than the brushing but the only thing that makes a huge difference and pretty much removed all his tartar build up is letting him gnaw on a big all natural knuckle bone. I let him chew on one a couple times a week for about 30 minutes while I watch him. His teeth after the 1st time doing this we’re almost 100% cleaned, it was amazing. The large variety of Greenies are very expensive and since our dog eats one in about 5 minutes they are not cost effective for us.kimbery.d

My almost 4 lb Yorkie loves these Greenies Teenie Dental Treats. Teenies are for dogs weighing from 5-15 lbs and at almost 4 lbs, these treats are still a bit too big for my little dog’s small mouth so I cut them in half and give her half a teenie every morning. They are her absolute favorite treat. Before I found these Teenie treats I was giving her cat Greenies which are just the right size for her tiny little mouth. We have used greenies in the past for treats for our two mulitpoo’s. They loved them. I seen this flavor and thought I would give them a new taste. I believe they liked them as much as the regular flavor we have given them. They chew them right up. My fur baby Lexi is usually very picky with her treats! I gave her one of the gingerbread flavored greenies. I swear she got a huge smile when she took her treat. She went to her little bed with her treat and woofed it down. It was the perfect size for my small 10lb baby. I love the shape of these tiny festive flavored treats. They really do keep my little dachshund occupied for a good while. She loves the flavor and just goes to town gnawing on 'em. Roxy got to try these Greenies dental treats in savoury salmon flavor. This product is said to clean teeth and keep a fresh breath. Contains no artificial flavours or fillers which I love to hear. When you open the bag, you find these cute little fish shapped treats that are very fragrant. So this easily attracted my cat. Threw one at her and she devoured it like she hadn't eaten in forever(dont worry..this kitty eats and is fed plenty lol) So it wasnt hard to make a photo of her and the bag of treats with the help of the salmon flavored treats. Did I notice her teeth were clean..after a week I did indeed. She didnt have stinky breath also which is always fun since I love to kiss my cat on top of her nose. Having had a diabetic cat in the past (treated for 2 years before he passed) I'm well versed in cat nutrition, especially carbohydrates, moisture content and nutrients+ingredients. We currently have 4 cats and we've highly limited carbs and other harmful ingredients as much as we can in their twice daily meals. These treats aren't much different from the other brands available, but they're healthier than most that are in the same price range and retail availability. We'd normally never give treats, however, these treats have become necessary to reinforce good behaviour. One of the cats was diagnosed with asthma in late 2019 and we have to give him medication every night. This involves a special aerochamber (AeroKat) and an inhaler. He has to take 14 full breaths while wearing the mask piece before he's released from his light hold spot on our kitchen counter. At first he was very resistant (as you can imagine…), but we quickly learned that the best way to make this as easy and less traumatic as possible (he's had traumatic vet visits and is very fearful of being restrained) is to give him a treat afterwards to reward him for his good behaviour and cooperation. As a result, every night around 9pm he has his cute little routine of meowing and rolling around next to the cabinet where we keep the treats. He knows the routine and he's looking forward to his treat! 😊 However, if you've had multiple cats at once you'll know what that means lol The other 3 cats are also in the kitchen waiting for a treat! There's no way to avoid breaking their hearts if we were to only give him a treat and not the others… so they each get one (or 2 if my husband is doing it) after the inhaler has been done. Obviously, 4+ treats per day means that the bags are too expensive and get emptied quickly. So we've been buying the 9.75 oz value size tubs from Amazon which is cheaper overall, more convenient and less wasteful, but the treats still kind of dry out over time because the seal of the top isn't… well, sealed. That's why I removed a star. I like that they're not too moist or slimy (they don't rot or get sticky), they're small (but not too small either, can be used with teenage kittens), and they don't smell horrible (I still wash my hands afterwards because it's not a pleasant smell to constantly have on your hands). The catnip flavour is a favourite, but the salmon one is a good one too. Chicken wasn't well liked. However, I wish that the label was removable instead of printed on. They're great sized containers that I'd like to reuse, but I haven't found any way to remove the label. It would be a plus in my opinion of the company as it would show a bit more that they care about the environment and encourage reusing their packaging. The small size of the bags are wasteful in my opinion since they go straight to the trash once empty. Last note: I just noticed that they recommend 8 treats twice a day for a 10 lbs cat. That's ridiculous. They're marketed as dental treats, but I don't think they're big enough to do any cleaning. At that rate their nutritional intake is going to be highly negatively impacted while maybe getting a slight gum/teeth stimulation. I don't recommend that, especially if you already feed your cat dry food. Also, one of my cats swallows it whole 98% of the time, so it's not necessarily good for all cats. I started where most of us would start – the cheapest chews I could find. Over the next year I tried them all. Some my dogs liked, but I would notice their teeth weren't being cleaned or their breath stunk more than normal. Others they wouldn't touch. Finally, after working my way up the ladder of dog dental chews I got to Greeneis and have not gone back since. They have been using Greenies now for close to two years (Dogs are now 3 and 4). Sure, they still have dog breath but it's not foul like it was with those other dental chews. I also notice very minimal plaque on their teeth, which I keep tabs on regularly. What sealed the deal was when I took them to the vet for a check up the first year they had been getting their Greenies and the vet remarked how excellent their teeth looked. I told her I seldom brushed their teeth anymore but gave them a Greenie each morning, which she nodded in approval. The cons? It's expensive compared to other dental chews, but I can't put a price on my dogs. These are the only ones that seemed to work that they like. I've also noticed some supply issues lately where it can be a pain to find them in the regular size. But most importantly, my dogs love their Greenies. Every morning after their go outside they know it's Greenie time. They walk over to the pantry and keep their eyes focused on it. Once I open it up and grab the bag they start tippy-tapping in excitement and each take a Greenie to their doggie beds and chew it up!EL EF

I've had a variety of dogs throughout the years, and I've always fed them Greenies. They're simple to digest AS LONG AS THE DOG DOESN'T SWALLOW THEM WHOLE AND CHEWS THEM! These treats are designed to be eaten, and they can help a dog's teeth and oral health. They're completely natural and come in a variety of sizes, including little ones for my Chihuahua. I feed the large one to my pit bull/boxer mix. They are not suitable for dogs with dental problems such as poor teeth or gum diseases since the dog must be able to chew them apart and consume them. However, I strongly suggest them if your dog has healthy teeth and gums and does not want to swallow them whole.caitlyn.c

Honestly I was very leary about purchasing these. I have read about some brands in the past that were horrible for dogs but after reading the reviews I decided to purchase a small bag and try it out. Both my pointer pups like the dog treats. I don't give them the treats every day but instead about every three or four days. There is already a difference in the amount of plaque on their teeth. I was actually so surprised to see the difference. Note: I also brush their teeth. So all in all these really do work and so far no problems with neither one of the pups.ProudTxMom

My 6 month old mini aussie shepperd loves chewing, she’s a bit of a power chewer. These treats are far too soft for her, she just eats them in under 20 seconds – I doubt they’re cleaning her teeth. We originally gave her the adult version before realizing there’s a puppy version. The adult version worked great and her teeth were fresh and white (very strong as well) and her breath smells fine. Although we had 2 other “teeth cleaners” working with it (bully sticks and her kibble) All in all, great product. She loves the taste and chews on it fine, although after awhile she will try and bury it for some reason. Just wouldn’t recommend if your dog chews through things easily. I hesitated to try these as opposed to the original greenies as my 16 year old dog has been enjoying the original since his puppy days. I overlooked them on a couple of visits because the Aging Care Greenies only were sold in a large box and I didn't want to be stuck with so much if my dog didn't like them. My last visit an employee reminded me I could return the box if my dog didn't like them, so I figured why not. My dog is so much happier with these than the original! They're soft enough for him to easily chew (he had ALL teeth pulled so uses his jaw to chew) and they're made extra special for old guys like my little furball. I usually have to cut up the greenies with a scissor but these are soft enough to twist and break into pieces. If you have an aging dog, I highly recommend these!MeMer12

Our dogs have all loved Greenies, even the picky eaters. We use them daily to help control plaque build up and keep our dogs teeth healthy. Occasionally we pick up the seasonal flavors to keep things interesting and they love it. We've never had them reject any flavor and the Pumpkin Spice actually smells better than some others we've had. They are rather expensive but I think they're worth every penny. I also appreciate that they offer different sizes to suit all dogs. I would recommend trying these.kristen.m

My dog likes these a lot, but he LOVES LOVES LOVES the blueberry ones, which I unfortunately have to order online and have shipped to me because our store only carries the plain green DogGreenies. This is ok because I have the membership which gives unlimited deliveries. Btw, I give my dog a Greenies Dental Treat every day, and his veterinarian says his teeth look great.FoodieDogLover

My furbabies had these last Halloween (the large sized ones) and they absolutely loved them! These made my dogs breath smell so good. My dogs are 70+ lbs so they ate the treats quickly and was ready for more. They are at a tad expensive so it adds up when you have six dogs but I will continue to purchase but only on occasion. These are a great way to give your dog pills. They are sold as in tablet or capsule sized pockets. I always buy capsule (which are larger sized pockets) regardless of use. (It's about 1/2 the cost per gram for capsule size) I then break the pockets into half or thirds and use them to give the pills so one bag can actually do 60-90 pills. They are super soft and break mold easily. When you have a dog on alot of medication the savings add up considerably. I've had both chicken and peanut butter flavor. My dog liked both but I found the chicken to be less greasy on my hand, that being said even the chicken are pretty greasy to handle and leave your hand wanting an immediate soap and water wash.Zenon K.

I use to find anything I could to put medication in liquid or pill form and it was a pain. I don’t know why I didn’t try these sooner. One of my 5 dogs had teeth removed and needed an anti inflammatory. I’m so happy I tried these they are amazing! Someone said they aren’t big enough for large oblong pills…. You should crush your dogs medicine anyway but especially large pills so they don’t have to deal with it. My dogs pills were plenty small but by crushing it then putting it in he had no clue he was taking any meds.
I like these so much that I’m switching from their regular daily treat to these. I get more for the money, I can sneak meds in if anyone is on them and they won’t catch on and after I gave all of them one to try that is what sold me. They LOVED Them. It was quick so no one picking a fight with anyone else either which is a bonus lol and if any ever lose enough teeth that crunchy or firm treats are too difficult that won’t be an issue. I also love that on chewy you can get a multi pack of 3 different flavors. They are also low in calories which is great for my fat butt puppy lol This is a 5 star treatCJ King
