Our puppy LOVED LOVED LOVED Mr. Bill….unfortunately he is an agressive chewer and destroyed him after two weeks, but please note that he carried it around 24/7. He would panic if we hid it from him. And, even after he pulled out the stuffing we retrieved the sound box "Oh no!!!" and inserted it into another toy. He sleeps every night with the destuffed Mr. Bill carcass and pulled it out of the trashcan so I think he's here to stay. Something about the colors and/or sounds really attracted him!TracyWithAnE

I thought the "Oh, No!" sounded electronic and called PetFlow immediately fearing for batteries, etc. They assured me the sound was not electronic and was made by air passing through filters "Like the old cow moo turnover cans from the '50s." FALSE! I made sure I was with Brooks when he eviscerated Mr. Bill. When he got to the center I took it away just in time to pull out a weak plastic box that was already coming apart in chips. The lid fell off as I pulled it out. This Mr. Bill toy is bigger than I expected which was a nice surprise. I also expected a wheezing/squeaky sound to come from it, but no it does indeed have a voice box and it shouts "OH NOOOOOOOO!" when my dog bites on his belly. Its durable, my baby usually destroys toys in a day (poor lambchop didn't have a chance), but she loves this one and carries it around and it has survived a week so far! The ONLY downside (not really a downside, more just an FYI) is if you are annoyed by repeated sounds or phrases, the OH NOOOOOOOO! non stop for 3 hours or so is enough to drive you insane. haha! I have to hide it from her sometimes when I've had enough. All in all 11/10 would recommend.Azubah90

The product's design and styling are quite good. Our puppy enjoyed using it and was genuinely engaged. Having four settings of complexity meant it would hopefully be able to "grow" with her. The problem came in with the materials chosen. The entire outside is rubberized which is great in theory as it means less noise and less wear and tear on floors/furniture. However our puppy quickly started working at the rubberized ring around the food opening which is understandable. "Food is in there. I can either shake it out or just root for it."–a very natural dog response. It felt like too much thought was put into how the product would look in photos and not enough practical testing was performed. Especially for a pet item.Eric E.

This product was great. It's the first puzzle toy that our puppy has interacted with and it took him a little while to figure it out at first (5-10 minutes). He was initially unsure about the product, thinking it was more of a chew toy. The following few days, he's gotten better at figuring out how to dispense food from The Game. I've moved it from Level 1 to Level 2 and he seems to be pretty proficient at it now. I'm thinking of moving to Level 3 and am curious about how it will change the interaction. Overall our puppy is SO HAPPY when he sees me take this product out. He can't wait to play with it! I only wonder how long it will last – the outer silicone shell has some pretty deep bite marks and gashes so far. My only wish is that the company sell a replacement top so that it's easy to purchase new parts if the original one gets destroyed (and to mix and match colors).Raymond S.

My Chihuahua really put this to the test! He is very destructive and has torn up many of his toys. After many hours of intense chewing this toy is still intact. It has a very loud squeak and the he loves the sound now. At first it startled him a little bit but now it thrills him. He loves to play fetch with it and it isn't hard enough to hurt him if it accidentally bounces on him. It is an all around great toy. The small size is just right for my small Chihuahua. The Hartz Bug Eyes toy is really cute. I received a yellow duck. My dog isn't used to toys that aren't stuffed animals, but she played with this duck okay. She is only 6 pounds, so she didn't have the bite necessary to make his eyes bug out, but she most certainly had the bite necessary to make it scream. 😉 It has a very loud squeal that she loved to hear over and over. 😉 The only issue I had with the Hartz Bug Eyes was the fact that I pulled the plastic tags out instead of cutting them, and they pulled the stuffing out through the holes. It is totally my fault, but just so everyone else knows, *cut* the plastic tags. I will attach a photo of the mess I made due to pulling the tags. My 7 month old Great Dane puppy loves these. He is obsessed with the squeaky noise they make. I ordered some years ago and none of my dogs cared to play with them. Our pup found all of the old ones, they were in rough shape from being outside and in the sun for years. I finally had to throw out the old ones. He is very happy to have new ones. These toys are soft yet sturdy, well made and really make playing time for your dog fun. He loves it when you throw them, they bounce and they're the perfect size.azsunsetlover

You needed a bigger size. Generally, I would recommend sizing up once or twice anyway. The smaller ones are too small and not as thick of material therefore easier for any size dog to tear up. Additionally, if the toy isn’t full of snacks, take it away. Don’t let them chew on the toy itself just as a chew toy. That is another reason why the toy may get damaged. If the dog is focused on getting the snack out, they’ll be much less focused on destructive behaviors and tearing things apart. If you have a puppy, remember they teethe and it HURTS. They self sooth by chewing. Give them things it’s okay to chew on/destroy like Nyla bones (which seriously last forever even in strong determined breeds). Last thing to mention, is that if you really want to go with indestructible, prefer something that’ll keep them busy for a lot longer periods of time, then get the weighted feeder kong balls. I put some dog food into ours along with some soft small very strong smelling treats and my dogs work on this for HOURS. It’s how they get their meals or at least part of their meal each day. You can fed the whole meal this way if you want. They come in different sizes but the biggest size has worked perfectly for all of my dogs (weights range from 35 to 150lbs). They knock it over and the snack or treat falls out of a little hole. Then they keep working on it little by little, it’s really a great option for keeping them distracted! Just be sure to take it away when they’re not using it anymore so they don’t learn to guard it. This is true with any toy, treat, bone, or food. Offer a few times a day then take away when they’re no longer interested. Free feeding is one of the worst habits to start and makes it difficult for owners to tell quickly when something is off with their pet. I learned this the hard way! (Google this if you don’t believe me) I would still consider these Kong balls to be indestructible IF you use them properly. I have huge, strong dogs, a sharp toothed and very busy heeler and both have had theirs for 4 years without incident and not even a puncture mark into either one. I filled with “mini” milk bones and broken in half “small” milk bones but just read another reviewer said they freeze theirs with pnut butter and treats inside. Sounds messy but sounds like a great idea! Cant wait to try! Hope this helps!Momzymo

Amazing! Amazing at entertainment for my dog. Love how we can stick big treats in there and keep him busy whenever we have to leave the house. I think it's a must for training your dog. Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it. So best to keep the toy until you notice any wear or tear. I like how it has multiple sizes and has really good durability.. this is a really good investment for your dog! We have found many creative ways to entertain our husky/German shep/malamute mutt who has high energy and high affinity to treats. 10/10 would recommend. There's also some Kong specific treats you can find meant to fit into the toy to make it very difficult for the dog to remove it. We like that there is a lot of creative ways to use it. We had two on rotation for when our puppy was teething and needed a lot of attention. Frozen treats allowed for the pup to work on the kong. We use it at home mainly but we do bring it over to our friends house when our dog is staying the night because we are out of town. It's just another tool they can use if they find he needs to calm down and focus instead of rambunctious and playing.terri.n

This is the old classic rubber Kong dog toy. I have the regular size and the small size for my boxer and for my Boston terrier. Its shape causes it to bounce in random directions. My dog absolutely loves this toy. I've put everything in that thing. I have broken up some single ingredient treats and stuffed them in Kong. We refer to my dogs as having ADHD, or a very SHORT attention span, but not with this toy they absolutely love it!! . I put treats as well as peanut butter bananas or yogurt then put them in the freezer. The freezing slows down their ability to clean out the inside quickly so the game lasts a little longer. The rubber is hard enough so they cannot chew through it yet soft on their teeth and gums. The hole is large enough to easily fill the inside as well as wash out the inside after use. Definitely buy multiples so that there are some in the freezer ready to go on those hot days or on those days that you just need a little time to get something done while your dog is occupied. All in all I completely recommend these toys for all dogs of any shape and size.Ysabel

I'm shocked by the surprising amount of poor reviews for this toy. We have a Cane Corso, Staffy, Great Dane mix who absolutely loves to tug and chew, not to mention weighs 95 pounds and is as strong as an ox. We got her this toy when she was 4 months old, and only just replaced it after 2.5 years of intense (and I mean INTENSE) tugging, both with humans and other dogs. You could tell me this toy was made of titanium and I wouldn't even question it, sometimes I'd swear you could tow a car with it. It is by far the most durable toy we have found for a dog who can wreck even the most expensive, toughest-rated toys with ease. It is durable, flexible, has nice wide handles for both you and your dog to hold onto, and is long enough that there is minimal risk of your dog accidentally slipping and nipping your hand. Bought this a couple months ago and it's still intact! Our Lab loves nothing more than chewing on toys until they are in pieces. And there is nothing worse as a pet owner than buying a new (expensive) toy only to have it destroyed within minutes/hours of giving it to your pet.
