Perfect fit for petsafe wireless collar replacement and I like these better than the original bc you can make it tight as you need for hard to contain dogs and ones with thicker hair. Collar fit has changed my life dealing with a dog dying to run off constantly.RACHEL M

Great price, good quality. Lots of notches to make collar fit any size neck in the medium to giant breed sizes. Reflective part very effective. This collar is longer than I expected with more notches than I imagined – this is a good thing!! Easy to cut down and make the perfect length. Also, the additional purchase of the name tag for the dog came attached to the collar- riveted in place to the collar. PERFECT! Also unexpected- I thought I would have to do the riveting myself. Maybe I missed something or maybe it wasn’t clear, but this collar has a plastic coating which I was PLEASANTLY surprised to discover. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the holes for the invisible fence microlite electric fence prongs were too far apart. It was doable though and I was able to get it to work. 4 stars because I had expected it to fit like a perfect glove and not a tight glove. Either way, I will be buying this again. Only took 2-3 sessions and 2 mild static corrections to have my frisky Doberman trained! She loves to bolt into the woods at the first sign of this stray cat and nothing has been able to prevent it until now. I even let her out without the collar and she stays in the designated area. I heard that the battery dies quickly on the collar so when she is not outside, I take the battery out of the collar to lengthen the battery life. It's been 6 months and still on the original battery. If you live in a condo/townhouse, you may have to get creative with the base placement since the radius is a circle.dgoleno

Not all dogs respond well to these collars, however our pit bull mix did great. She learned the system boundaries in one Sunday afternoon and this unit replaced our 5 year old unit for her. I trained two dogs effectively in two days plus two refresher course days. Total time training is about two hours per pet. It won't work if you don't train the dog. Follow the excellent instructions.goods.and.chattels

We installed the in ground wire around the perimeter of our property. I have one dog that digs under our fence and one that climbs the fence. These collars keep our dogs away from the fence and keeps them from running out into the street. We have had our fence for 5 years now and only replaced the collars once because I misplaced them. Batteries need replacement every few months. I like that the dogs get a beeping warning once they are within a few feet of the perimeter and only get shocked if they cross the boundary.fldolphinmc

By far the best price that I could find. The UltraLight Receiver Collar was in perfect shape and in excellent working order. The only condition issue was that the battery was nearly dead. I have owned this system for a yr and run 3 collars on it. At first it worked great 4 months in a collar stopped working it would show red light like charging but would never come on so i purchased another one 130 bucks (wow) with in weeks same thing to my other one called tech support this time they walked me theough how to turn it on (at this point i laughed at the begining of the call i stated i have had the system a year) they told me it must be broke and buy a new one. Well broke to me is nothing working but i have red light on charging and stays red for hours 8 to be exact on both of them so this is trash and do not expect help from tech support. But buying one of these every year is not cheap either. 🙁 Fortunately, when I called PetSafe I spoke to a very helpful rep who offered to replace the collar for me. I'm very grateful and very happy about this, since it is a very nice collar and easy to use. Here's hoping the failure of the first one was a fluke! I probably will ultimately get another one for one of the other dogs (we have 3!) once we use up all of the batteries we have. While I'm only giving three stars for the collar due to the short lifespan, I would definitely rate service at 5 stars!DigitMom

I really like the walk, distance and step tracking. It does a better job than my phone at showing where we've walked! It improves over time as new features are added, and the battery is lasting longer than it did when I first got it. Some training is necessary, so the pup knows what to do if it goes off. The customer support was very responsive! Will definitely get another one when we get our next pup.Ken Settle

Doesnt fit a 3/4" shock box be careful. Cut to size. You don't need another adjuster for the collar length. This collar is just a replacement for a shock collar collar(not a regular walking collar although you could use ot for that if you really wanted) so it has to be flat with no buckles to fit through the shock box. Works fine on a 1" SportDog shock box.Doowllams

I have had this for 9 years. I had to buy a new receiver, but other than that it is working every day as it should. We breed and raise Chocolate Labs, and even the hardest head is discouraged from going through the field. The radius adjustment works just the way it should. I have just recommended this to my brother-in-law for his golden retriever. Also we live on a hill and it works even when dogs are about 10 feet below the transmitter.Yonko

We have purchase 2 of these units fairly pricy units (the work as advertised) in the last 2 plus years, but they don't last. Both of the previous units stopped working just past their "limited warranty"!!! Our dog has a thing with getting up on our cupboards so we decided to get this to try and see if it would keep him off. I have to say the results are amazing. We put the wire on the edge of our cupboards and ran it along to the plug. The installation was very easy. I have to say it is working flawlessly.The first night we heard a yelp in the middle of the night, assuming he got shocked and some of our food from the cupboard was on the floor but by day 3 he learned his lesson and did not get on the cupboards. It is so awesome to be able to leave our bread on the cubpoards and not have to worry about the dog getting to it (our dog loves bread). We will be leaving it ont the cupboards for about a month just to make sure he doesnt get on it and then we will be putting it outside in the front yard to keep him in the yard. I love that we can use this without having to put in an actual fence. I love how this comes with everything you need and that it is rechargable. Its great quality and works perfctly. This fence works great, but it was finicky to set up. The wires have to be inserted just the right distance, but not too far or the box thought the wire loop was broken. It took us a while to figure that out. In the process the spring popped out of one of the wire clamps so it was useless, but we found the spring and my husband was able to fix it. I really wish there was just a screw we could wrap the wire around and tighten, which would feel much more stable. Everytime we moved the thing, the wires popped out, up till we got it into it's final resting space. We're a little worried the box will get bumped and a wires will come loose again. I will say that when we thought the device wasn't working, the PetSafe team replied to my e-mail within minutes, and on a Sunday. I was super impressed with the fast customer support. We've been using it for almost 2 weeks, counting training time, and our hound foster now stops about 8 feet from the fence he was previously jumping, which is about when he should be hearing the beep. We keep the collar next to the back door and turned off, unless we're putting the dog out. We haven't needed to charge it yet.Erin M

After being in our new home for around two months now and finally had a weekend free my husband and I decided to set up the inground fence. We have one femal dog roughly around 65 lbs that is fairly obedient and really just loves going outside between early morning and late evening. This kit comes nicely packaged with instructions and seems fairly understandable to figure out. You can also look up any trouble shooting online which I highly recommend along with training your dog before hand as that plays an important roll. It comes with everything needed to get started and you can purchase an extra collar or wire on line per animal if needed. I'm really only focusing on my backyard so this is more than enough to get me started as were literally going along the yard with no trees or bushes in the way. It also states that you can place it to an existing fence which I thought was pretty nice. I suggest two people working together as one digs and the other places the wire in the ground behind them. We layed the wire on top of the ground to determine were we wanted it to be and make any last adjustments before we started and we were able to finished in a day and a half with my son helping us towards the end. My husband took care of hooking the wire up and let me place the collar on our dog. We started out slowly and she did really good but started to follow her dad around front while on setting one which is just the tone so we went back and read directions and realized our mistake. We will start at two and up it one at a time during the next few weeks till she gets the concept and doesn't do it again. I can tell you at two when we first tried I don't know what she thought but it did take her by surprise and wasn't something she was use to so I think shes realizing not to go past the flag zone. The good thing is it's enough to startle her but without harming her or make her hate me. I'm still in the training mode and with her being an older dog I'm going a little slower since she gets so scared easily. This is going to be nice letting her out while I'm getting ready in the morning and giving her more room to roam and come back in on her time. One good thing to is thankfully we have a window that we can run the wire through at the corner to connect to the transmitter since it has to be connected indoors. The fence transmitter has a piece that's slides off so you can screw to the wall. Overall we made a few simple mistakes but it was fairly easy to set up and I feel better knowing she can enjoy the outdoors having more space to sniff and not run off! I highly recommend as it doesn't hurt your animal and gives them more freedom to move around!Amberrose1980
