I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Definitely like this product for my cat. I Don't give her the 'Dose' on the bottle, as 1 thing I Dislike about this, the first word….Alcohol. It Does calm her down, But I Don't Need her to Sleep, just make it take the Anxiety away, which it does. My dog ate this willingly only twice. I've even dipped it meat juice & he will not eat it. If I crush it in his food he rejects the whole bowl. He is not picky at all. so these must taste pretty bad. They are very dry. no idea if they work or not, can't see results if he won't eat them. I can assume the ingredients are medicinal. I can't really review Hip & Joint as well as I thought I was going to be able to. It doesn't really compare well to other supplements like this that I've tried, and I wouldn't consider purchasing it either. I wasn't aware of Hip & Joint before trying them, and I'm not sure I would recommend them to cat owners, but I would probably recommend them to dog owners. I have four cats and only one out of the four of them would even eat them. The other three cats just walked away, and then I had to pick up the other three before my fourth cat ate all of them. The one and only cat that actually did eat them started spraying in my house, which he has never done before taking Hip & Joint. I immediately stopped giving them to him, and he immediately quit spraying. I gave the Hip & Joint to a friend who has 2 adult dogs, and she is excited about trying them in place of her regular supplements. I wish I could have given a better review, but this is my opinion. I wish they would have worked out for my fur babies, but I'm sure dog owners will have better luck.Catplaysbass

We adopted a 13 year old dog at the start of the year. His joints were clearly very stiff when we got him and he had trouble with a lot of normal movement and dog behaviour. I bought these and after giving them to him for only a week we saw clear improvement. Now he stretches every day with front and back legs out, scratches himself behind the ears, and is able to reack his back legs to clean them. He will even run a little sometimes. He manages to go down the stairs where before he would stumble and fall. He seems overall happier and more spry. He likes the chews a lot, so it's no problem getting him to eat them even though he is a very picky dog. They are also very easy to break in two for very small dogs. The only thing I will say against it is that looking at the active ingredient amounts it looks like some other brands have more for a lower price per chew.iHerb Customer

I have bought five bottles of this so far because I like the product that much. It’s easy to attach to your garden hose and you’re able to treat a large area with one container. I like to use this heavily right on the woods line of my yard and then cover the grass. The ticks are horrible right now in NH and I feel this product really helps control them. The scent is also not overbearing and I actually enjoy it. It smells very natural and dissipates rather quickly. I’ve treated my lawn twice so far this year only because it ended up raining the following day after treatment. Overall, I really like this brand. Really strong. I used a little spot-check in the worst places because of the odor. Peppermint oil is also supposed to be good for rats which we also have this year after 12 years. I used Dr Brimmer's for that & liked it quite a bit. This stuff is really strong so be careful. I had also previously used some ENFORCER powder but that didn't seem to knock them out enough. You can keep spraying this, seems like there's more left over but like I said, it's very strong, be careful. Unfortunately, fleas & rats are abundant this year.Adrienne

I started using this product on my horse a year ago. She had a terrible case of rain rot. I don't like using chemicals on any of my pets, especially not on my horse. This worked great for clearing up the rain rot. It has a delicate, pleasant smell and did not bother my horse at all. I apply it often, even to her blanket when the weather is cold. I haven't had an episode of rain rot since I have been using this product. It also works as a dry shampoo/deodorizer for her coat. Which never looks dull. I've used their Clean shampoo and paste on her coat and bug bites. I am very happy with all their products. I even use their products made for me. My gelding looks like a yak by the time spring arrives as he gets more than a winter coat. It's as though he's wearing a rug. Last year as he began to shed we noticed he had what I can only describe as a dermatitis along his top line. It wasn't from lack of grooming; I stay on top of that. I have tried several products to treat thrush and scabs on my horse's pasterns. I'd see some improvement but the grunge never cleared up entirely. No Thrush had very good results with the thrushy frog. My farrier noticed a big difference. It's also slowly reducing the scabs at the top of his heels. I bought another bottle to keep on hand after one week. I don't want to run out! My only complaint is that it's difficult to control the amount of powder that comes out of the tip. A small hole clogs, a larger hole sends it everywhere. It's too pricey to waste. I shake some into a small cap and brush it in with a soft toothbrush.Katie5k
My horse has been pretty lucky and has never really had a bad case of thrush which is pretty remarkable because we live in the super wet Pacific Northwest. For whatever reason this last fall and winter, he's had a pretty nasty case that has been difficult to get rid of. My normal treatment methods were not making any headway, so when a friend recommended I give this a try, I thought it was worth a test. I am glad I did as it has really been helpful in keeping the infection under control. It has not eliminated it completely (I don't expect that to happen until it dries out later this year), but it has kept it at a manageable level. I have a 4-Years old purebred Keeshond (Precious Assal). Unfortunately Assal has seasonal allergy. I use to give him Cetirizine HCL 10 mg per his vet recommendation. Since it wouldn't work, the dosage was increased to 5-Tabs / day (50 mg). It still wasn't working, until I decided to change it to more healthy approach.
