My avid little mouser cat caught herself a little prize just a few days before a month-prior planned trip my husband and i were unavoidably about to go to. Apparently that mouse had bitten her back in the process, right on her tender little lip cleft! Using this for hot spots on my canine, this stuff does work but it sometimes can take up to 2 8oz. Bottles to heal the area's treated. Not sure if it's the strength of medicine or just those stubborn spots. I want to add before I start my review that I no longer use Burt’s Bees products because I wanted something stronger for my dogs. I also originally bought this product with the intention of using it for one of my dog’s dry skin. With that being said I have a miniature poodle with severe allergies that caused him to scratch at himself until he was bleeding and scratched off the skin in multiple location on his body. He is now medicated and is a lot better with the correct products. This product did help with his allergies minimally but did help his over all coat a lot. His coat was soft and shiny after using the product and after a few weeks his dry skin that was caused by a previous product was much better. My lab had hot spots recently. I bought this product and applied it to the affected area in addition to the antibiotic cream given by the vet. I have intentionally waited to write a review because I wanted to give enough time to see if the Fidoplex was going to make a difference. I bought this supplement a year ago because my cavalier king charles spaniel had recently experienced two bad episodes with ivdd and she’s only 4 years old. We took our Newfie/Lab to the vet to get vaccinated for a training class. Shortly after his shots, he developed a skin allergy with two hot spots on each hip. Nothing was helping my yorkie's itching and scratching. He cried and scratched constantly, even with vet prescribed treatments. I have tried so many products with no results. This one was a Godsend. After one treatment he was peaceful. It didn't smell great (not terrible) and left his hair oily. But after another bath he was back to crying and scratching incessantly. After a day of this, I reapplied and he was calm again. It's been over a week now and no scratching, no crying. I can handle a little smell and oiliness if it keeps my boy from crying like he was. The oiliness and smell actually went away after a couple of days. I would be happy even if they didn't if it would keep my baby as happy and itch free as he is now. I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. Im not a vet but am thinking whatever it was it was some type of fungal infection. Benefits of product; it wasnt expensive, was easy to apply, and has a light pleasant scent.Debbie
I am so thankful to have found this today! My poor dog could not stop scratching and licking under his front legs, and they were raw and bleeding. He was whimpering but would not stop. I came home and sprayed the areas with this, and he didn’t freak out like I thought so I know it didn’t hurt! He became calm and only tried to lick a few times before he relaxed and rested. I used it on my German Shepard who is itchy from allergies. It soothed her and cut out the scratching. I would definitely recommend. I did a little research on the product before I used it to see if anyone had any major issues when they tried it. I use it a couple times a week or more depending on how flaired up she gets. I do like that it's an all natural product. I also use the Burts Bees shampoo and conditioner as well. Remember if the dog has opened sores do not use the product you would need to see a vet or get the sores to clear up first before applying.michelle.j

I used this product in my dog (groodle) and it’s fair too say it worked wonders for his fur. Not only did it make it feel like her just got back from the groomer, the fragrance smelt amazing. From the special whitening shampoos (which does whiten and leaves hair dried out), the natural, organic, the this smells good so It must be good, most expensive and cheapest. I FINALLY found the shampoo I would recommend for any dog! It cleans well, leaves Hair smooth and silky. Not greasy. Has the fresh clean smell-no not like a mango, vanilla, a fruit cup, or some other ridiculous artificial fragrance. A simply clean scent. My BT recently passed away and my Chihuahua has been grieving as she is lonely. Got her a snuggle buddy and these warming packs to go in it. She loves it and snuggles up to it when she is in her crate, which is usually for about 3-4 hours max. I reuse the packs several times. If you put the one you are using in a baggie and push all the air out, you can use it several times if not for extended times.
