Just purchased this for my 70 pound elderly dog who has difficulty getting into and out of the car. I would have loved to keep this because of how well it was made, but it just didn't fit into the door opening of our new Equinox. Unfortunately the door didn't open wide enough. Also it wasn't long enough to use in the back lift gate. It was just too steep. Would be great in a regular car, but SUV's seem to be too far off the ground.Jodi
This is a nice sturdy ramp. I believe it may work well for vans but, with both of our cars (Chevy Malibu and Nissan Altima) the ramp does not have a level place to set it on. Our Golden Retriever tried it on both cars but it was to unsteady for her. I was very happy and a little surprised at how easy it was to return the product. This was a life saver. My pug is 15 and needs help getting up and down from couch. It has 3 positions so it is not steep for an older dog to use. It is ready to use right out of the box. Looks like a nice piece of furniture. It is not to long and can be used in the smallest spaces. The carpet like material on the ramp, also has slip resistant material on it (like what is on the bottom of socks). The dogs love it and it does not bother their feet. When going down the ramp, they can go as slow as needed and not slide down. I highly recommend this product. It will not work with really high beds or trucks unless you add to it. But it is perfect for anything else including cars (if needed) It is very light and easy to move around. It is very sturdy and does not move when dogs are using it. Even my younger dog loves it and she is scared of everything. The first day we got it we used treats to get them to use it. I only took a few minutes and they loved it. We had foam stairs before this but my older dog was still having issues using it. Because of the material of the stairs, when going down, it would force her to go fast and slide. This does not do that and allows them to go as slow as possible (I know I repeated this but it truly makes a difference for an older or injured dog/cat.)Nic

Bought this for our boy who has been diagnosed with IVDD, along with some barriers to keep him from jumping instead. Our 5 pound Morkie is 10 years old and always been a fast and high jumper. I recently purchased a DoggoRamp bed ramp and a couch ramp. As a dachshund owner, I have ramps all over my house. I've purchased ramps from various vendors and have never been fully impressed with my prior purchases. They've all done the job, but they haven't really been pretty or particularly well made. I had been looking and researching for something for my two dogs that are 11 years in age and having trouble getting on and off our bed. I knew stairs wasn't an option so I got one of these wood bedside ramps and I absolutely love it. I like the ribbed carpet that covers it and that makes my dogs feel more secure when using it. I like how it is angled to run the length of my bed and having a tall bed isn't an issue since it has a height of 25 inches. The weight limit is 120 lbs so I dont worry about it tipping over when my dogs are running up and down. This is 60" long ramp which gives it a 22 degree angle of inclination for the ramp. 18 to 22 degree is recommended for dog ramps. It also has strap to attach the end of the car. I have to use old sweats on the ramp while my dog goes up to make it less slippery. But that not big deal. Its light weight and folds which are best the features. Back in August, I contracted COVID and was in hospital for over a month. I was on a walker after my release and unable to lift my 60 lbs Bulldog. With two large dogs who are aging, jumping into my vehicle is not always easy for them and also dangerous if they fall, so this alleviates their need to jump and lets them enter carefully. It does require training, just like with horses getting into a trailer, but once they get it, they love it!

This ramp seemed pretty sturdy, I believe it's rated to 150 lbs. The no-slip walkway was very good, BUT had to return because our 12 year old dog (90 lbs) was not willing to go that high; it was for the rear of 2019 subaru outback, seemed good quality. I got this ramp for my 10 year old dachshund rescue dog to use indoors on a short set of steps that lead to the outside door. (Just for steps). I am happy with the quality and there was nothing to assemble. Although the surface has a slight roughness, it is still too slippery for Lucy – she sort of slid down the last foot or so. I am going to cover it with carpeting using double sided carpet tape which i feel with solve the problem. Also because we are using the ramp indoors on steps I will need to secure the top edge to the landing. After that I think it will be quite adequate for her. She has some back issues and I do not want her straining herself up and down steps. I would expect this ramp to be good for medium to small dogs, it seems a bit too flexible for a dog over 40 lbs.Andrea

I had been looking and researching for something for my two dogs that are 11 years in age and having trouble getting on and off our bed. I knew stairs wasn't an option so I got one of these wood bedside ramps and I absolutely love it. I like the ribbed carpet that covers it and that makes my dogs feel more secure when using it. I like how it is angled to run the length of my bed and having a tall bed isn't an issue since it has a height of 25 inches. It was very easy to assemble only took me a few minutes and all hardware for assembly was included. It is very easy to keep clean and I can easily move it into our living room during the day so my dogs can have access to the couch if needed. The weight limit is 120 lbs so I dont worry about it tipping over when my dogs are running up and down. The only thing is on wood floors, it will slide as in our living room, but we use a blanket underneath it and this sovled the problem. As long as it helps my dogs and gives them the ability to continue living a easy life, it is well worth it.
