Our dog twice got foxtail seeds in his paws which lead to serious infections. He missed a hunting trip and the second time his paw was huge with the infection and had to be lanced. Poor fella. Comes with charging cord, just need to supply your own wall adapter. Probably dont want to just come at your dog with this thing to start. Start low and low, let them check it out, dont make it scary. One of my labs is more laid back about stuff like this so I was able to try it out fairly quickly. Not sure if it is for us yet, but it does work. Easy to charge, easy to clean. I like that the interior can be peeled out for cleaning. I dont mind dirt, so I am not washing paws every time we go out. But we have sandy soil, and when it rains there is mud galore. That can be tricky to clean up to a level that doesnt leave mud all over house. We wipe our paws, but mud and such gets up into the toes. Some days are more caked than others. It is those times I wish I had an easier way to get the paws clean. I have been wanting to try something like this for awhile, but wasnt sure if it was worth it. 2 large dogs, makes for 8 large paws. But this larger than the manual versions, and it has promise. It works, but will take time for my babies to get used to it. Can use plain water, or add a little dog safe shampoo.

I was already a super fan of ToeGrips – but today became an even bigger fan! We have been ToeGrips users since Sept 2021. This is the first time we have been to the vet office with ToeGrips on. We have an 18 yr old Beagle hound mix at 45 lbs who has developed arthritis in his back hips and lower back. We found our dog slipping on the tile and hardwood whenever she got excited but didn’t know these were an option and put rugs everywhere. Then one day she couldn’t stand at all —slipping and struggling to stand and then whimpering and urinated on herself by the time we found her. We finally found toegrips and put them on her. She hates her toes being touched and this was a little more effort/fight than I expected from her — definitely recommend a second person is possible to help distract your pup! But immediately you could tell when she approached the hardwood floor after standing up that she could tell the grip was different. The product is fine. It's the service on this purchase that deserves only one star. I ordered two large rugs in the mud color. I only received one rug in mud color. I had to contact customer support myself to find out what happened and where the other mud colored rug I ordered was. I was informed that the mud color was sold out. So, either someone sold the other mud rug that was supposed to be mine, or I was sold the two mud colored rugs when only one mud colored rug was available. I had to settle for a large blue rug instead. Good customer service would have been to have notified me that I would only be receiving one mud colored rug because that color was sold out, and then asking me if I wanted a refund or to choose another color.
Makes a great mat, my puppies love to lay on it after bath time but I find it very bulky. To try to dry the puppies with it is very difficult. Google brought me to the natural dog company because my dogs paws were the stuff off nightmares. Paw pads that look like hair which I learned was hyperkeratosis. Supposedly there is no cure for this. But I thought at the very least this would give him some relief as he must have been in some pain. Well he looks so much better already. The paws got soft enough that I was able to "trim" the filaments off sightly. Yes it was as gross as it sounds lol. He is not fully cured yet but his paws are so much closer to normal already. He is also in less pain as he is more tolerant of me putting the product on. Once he gets a bit more healed I will use the skin soother in-between the toes. The only con is that this stuff goes fast. I thought this was way too good to be true. My dog- Victoria, a catahoula- has severe allergies and has to be on a special diet, take medications, etc. even then, she has still had really bad allergies and chews her paws and legs. While she absolutely hates this stuff- I don’t know if it is the smell (it smells good, though), but on day 2 I saw a significant change in the redness and itchiness. I was such a huge skeptic because I’ve tried everything and I wasn’t expecting this to work and it has honestly been the only think that is not a medication that has helped. I run and walk my border collie 7-9 miles everyday and his paws were always rough so I decided to try this…within 1 week his cracks were almost all gone and his pads were really bad…deep skin cuts are almost fully gone!!! I had to order more of it even tho I haven't ran out fully. My dog doesn't lick it off or anything, but the first 2 times, it was hard to keep him still but now he lays there sleeping while I put it on him before bed. He lays still when I put it on in the morning also. I recommend getting the 4 Oz tin cuz I got the 2 Oz stick and after 1 week it's half gone…so if the pads are very rough, you my use a bit more than usual or recommended. I tried the pawtection and it really helped his paws on the cold pavements but we got to about 3.5 miles in on our run and then he started running on the snow, so it doesn't stay on longer than 4 miles, which is ok cuz u don't wanna be out too long really cold or hot weather anyways.Lindsey H.

I bought this for my one dog's really dry paws. He'd scratch me with his paw pads every time he'd put them on me. Honestly, it did work well; within a few days his paws were already looking and feeling better. However, he hates having his paws touched, so it's a bit of a struggle each time (despite easing him into it). The smell is fairly neutral; it actually smells like a humectant I used to use on my hair. Our dog twice got foxtail seeds in his paws which lead to serious infections. He missed a hunting trip and the second time his paw was huge with the infection and had to be lanced. Poor fella. I found Musher's Secret online and took a chance. He never got another seed or infection in his paws. We've now have two small dogs who are having a hard time this winter on the snow and ice. Both of them come inside from going out for 2-3 minutes (I set a timer.) limping with ice crusted on their paws. I'm sure Musher's Secret is going to take care of this problem. Musher secret pet paw protection is used year round for both my dogs. Living in the NYC, I deal with snow, salt, ice, and blistering pavement in the summers, and this product is an absolute miracle and super easy to apply. In the winter, I put it on their paws 2 to 3 times a week and they can withstand the bitter cold and salty walks. In the summer when the temperature is 80 and above, I put it on their paws and she can walk on asphalt without issue. It also helps protect their paws from pesticides and environmental allergies. It really works! I used it on my pup after walking him on really warm-hot days. I’m constantly checking that his paws were not burnt, I noticed they were getting dry. My 12 year old Yorkie suddenly starting losing the contents of her bladder during the night. The vet suggested checking for a UTI. I did some research and found that not only would that be expensive and require a course of antibiotics, many people found that the dog's UTI would come right back after they were done.
