My 12 year old Yorkie suddenly starting losing the contents of her bladder during the night. The vet suggested checking for a UTI. I did some research and found that not only would that be expensive and require a course of antibiotics, many people found that the dog's UTI would come right back after they were done. Since she wasn't in pain when urinating and there was no sign of blood, I thought I would try apple cider vinegar first which evidently works very well. It didn't help so next I tried Tinkle Tonic which did help, but not completely. I called the company which makes it and they suggested using the Tinkle Tonic concurrently with the Leaks No More. My dog has terrible anxiety and when it storms, she shakes and pants heavily and just paces everywhere. This product literally saved my cats life along with the Blood Sugar gold. I noticed my cat was drinking tons of water, bloated and not walking well due to arthritis. I took him to the vet. Spent 576 dollars to be told he has diabetes, congestive heart failure and arthritis. He is 12 years old and has been a great pet. I could not give him shots twice a day let alone spend a 1000 dollars more in dealing with that and his heart. He has fluid in his chest and lower abdomen. He was breathing very heavy in his lower abdomen instead of in his chest. This was a sign of the fluid slowly building up in his chest cavity closing in on his lungs. I started my dog on these drops about a month ago, as we were having trouble with uncontrolled high blood sugar. Have had pain, aches and muscle inflammation for years particularly on my left knee, ankle and foot; to make matters worse about a year ago the Dr. diagnosed me with an osteoarthritic knee; before that time and since have used many products and devices (non-prescription) seeking to alleviate pain and inflammation. My dog went a few days with excessive "goop" from his eyes. Since my dog hasn't had a history with this, and doesn't seem to have seasonal allergies, the vet suggested an antimicrobial for the eye irritation and I went with this ophthalmic gel based on the luck I've had with other Vetericyn products in the past. I started with a tiny drop on the corner of my dog's eye to be sure he wouldn't have any reaction to it. Later that day, I went ahead and applied a few drops in each of his eyes. I applied the gel two times a day for three days in a row and by the fourth day his eyes had stopped having discharge. It is almost like my dog knew the drops would make him feel better as he kept his head very still when I applied the gel to his eyes. The shape of the dispenser where you squeeze the product out of makes it very easy to apply the gel to their eyes. While it is a "gel," it comes out of the dispenser fairly quickly which I find allows for an accurate application. The gel-like substance is great to confirm that you got the gel where you want it to go. Upon inspection the eye itself was untouched but the eyelid was cut about an inch long from the back corner towards the front. I cleaned it and figured I would just leave it alone. The next morning it was itchy and irritating her and REALLY swollen. I cleaned her up, applied the Vetericyn ophthalmolic gel, and put a patch over her eye to keep her from rubbing it and repeated this 4 times that day and removed the patch that evening to let it air. By the next morning all the swelling had completely subsided and it was no longer irritating her! This product helped me when my dog had an eye wart. The vet said it did not need to be removed until it got to the point that he was scratching at it or it started to affect his vision. My BT recently passed away and my Chihuahua has been grieving as she is lonely. Got her a snuggle buddy and these warming packs to go in it. She loves it and snuggles up to it when she is in her crate, which is usually for about 3-4 hours max. I reuse the packs several times. If you put the one you are using in a baggie and push all the air out, you can use it several times if not for extended times.

I have tried several products to treat thrush and scabs on my horse's pasterns. I'd see some improvement but the grunge never cleared up entirely. No Thrush had very good results with the thrushy frog. My farrier noticed a big difference. It's also slowly reducing the scabs at the top of his heels. I bought another bottle to keep on hand after one week. I don't want to run out! My only complaint is that it's difficult to control the amount of powder that comes out of the tip. A small hole clogs, a larger hole sends it everywhere. It's too pricey to waste. I shake some into a small cap and brush it in with a soft toothbrush.Katie5k
My horse has been pretty lucky and has never really had a bad case of thrush which is pretty remarkable because we live in the super wet Pacific Northwest. For whatever reason this last fall and winter, he's had a pretty nasty case that has been difficult to get rid of. My normal treatment methods were not making any headway, so when a friend recommended I give this a try, I thought it was worth a test. I am glad I did as it has really been helpful in keeping the infection under control. It has not eliminated it completely (I don't expect that to happen until it dries out later this year), but it has kept it at a manageable level. I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. So I have a beabull, mostly English bulldog. He’s a 7/8 mix. Out of nowhere his cute little black nose started getting crusty and cracked. I waited a while and it didn’t let up. A friend said there was nothing you could do but I found this online. I didn’t think it would work but we are on day four and his nose is DRASTICALLY improved. I bought this for my dog’s (14 year old Shar Pei) keratin buildup on his nose and paws. It dissolved the stuff great and I was able to wipe off the stuff on his paws after one application. That was really impressive. My dog has fairly mild Hyperkeratosis but his nose gets a fairly thick layer of buildup, and this product allows you to remove it fairly easily after a few applications over a couple days and a cooperative pooch. I was really impressed with how well it worked. I use it now preventatively which prevents bad buildup on his nose and paws, so all in all I’m certainly a big fan. I recommend at least the 2oz can if you think you’ll use it on the paws. The 2 oz can generally lasts me a couple months even with multiple applications per day. I like this product for emergency anxiety relief, although I don't find much need for it since on medication. My mom has used it in times of physical illness stress and had good results. It really works well at restoring stasis. I have used this on my pets as well in the drop form, just look up dosage. I don't use this or the other remedies often, though. I do believe they work, but they are toxins and I have worried that they have had negative effects on my kidney function. The LESS you use the greater the effect of the essence, and the less it will effect your body negatively. I do think it's an excellent product and line, but I would recommend reading up on it before use.jennifer.h
