Although I'm sure it would be quite effective at helping with healing and disinfection, I found the tip rather unwieldy. The tip is rather large for fitting under a cat lip (although it might not be for a medium to large dog), and if your pet does not stay still, it is easy to accidentally squeeze the bottle too hard resulting in too large a quantity being squirted into your pet's mouth, which just increases the likelihood that your pet will not cooperate. Sorry not a review but a question. Sounds like this works well but I have a horrible time keeping my Shepard from licking his wounds. I am so grateful my vet approved this for me to receive at home. I have a healthy bunch of feral cats now all tamed, fixed and with shots. My 12 yo cat Magi has urinary tract disease and has crystals on her bladder, my vet originally ordered Clavamox which is quite expensive. I did some research and found that clavamox isn't much different from amoxicillian and asked my vet if Magi could switch meds. I would highly recommend this medicine, it's affordable and effective. The only down side of it is that it came in bubble gum flavor and Miss Magi wasn't thrilled with that lol normally she takes her meds very calmly and that's it but with this flavor she scratched me up pretty good 🙁 but it worked and that's all that matters!!

I bought this for my senior dog (he is 12) and he was just dealt bad teeth. I get his teeth professionally cleaned (every 1-1.5yrs) but brushing his teeth doesn’t seem to help between cleanings and he has never liked the chews or hard bones that help with teeth cleaning. He also won’t drink water with the additive for teeth cleaning in it…so I decided to try this and so far I am pleased with it. I’ve only been using it a couple of weeks, but the overall smell of his breath has lessened a bit and his teeth/gums look a bit better. I’m interested to see what continue daily use of this does to help him. Got this for a 14-year-old toy poodle whose teeth are as you\'d expect at that age. I\'ve used it for almost a week, and am seeing an improvement already. As directed, I\'ve sprayed on the outer sides of the teeth. I\'ve also used some gauze to gently massage off any debris and I think this product works better than brushing alone. It definitely improves breath as well. So far, the dog has not had any adverse effects. I was pleased that the product does not have any heavy or minty scent (which I think would bother any dog).
