Our 5 yr old cat Mystic was vomiting a lot, like 2 -3 times a day, she ended up vomiting no food but only a bile like smelly mess. After much on line reading about how "normal" cat vomiting is we finally took her to the vet. She was given this Albon 5% and the results were immediate! It Immediately helped my terrier stop gnawing his poor little leg raw. Every spring he has seasonal allergies possibly just allergic to the grass. I am a vet assistant, and I see all kinds of animals coming in with different skin conditions or allergies and always felt so bad for them and their owners….. then I got a dog with allergies and then I found out what it's really like…. it is devastating watching your dog itch and scratch to the point of pulling their hair out, then when the hair is gone… then there goes their skin…. they will make themselves bleed and still won't stop. I tried benadryl I tried EVERYTHING, had to even do skin antibiotics and steroid Injections and still he was itching…. so… the dr tried him on this….. now… first thing I will say is this medication isn't cheap especially for bigger dogs (if you have a 10lbs dog it's not going to be too bad) but my poor dog had to start off taking 2 16mg 2 times a day and it was roughly 300 for the first month, however from there you taper down and after a few months I got him down to half a tablet once daily…. anyway…. this medication worked like a dream for him. He hasn't had any issues for over a year now and although sometimes he scratches its more of a normal itch. This medication literally saved him and my sanity. One cannot underestimate how important that herbals are made with high quality ingredients, correctly and by someone that understands their uses. PetWellBeing is all that. I find their herbals work because they are blended well and made correctly. In using their herbals I have always seen improved results with my dogs. I believe in them and use them in place of medications when I understand fully what is the end goal. My 18 yr old beagle rescue and my 9 yr old ChiWeenie used the LifeGold and DetoxGold with much success. My 18 yr old felt better however, his spine and hind legs finally gave out. Sadly, his brief usage showed positive signs since he had more energy. He was sick with tumors and back leg issues way before administering these herbals. I was on the website looking for something to help my elderly chihuahua because I was unhappy with the meds the doctor had given me. A puppy was pretty much dropped in my lap several days ago, her belly was SO bloated as she hadn't had any vet care prior. Before even getting her home I pondered the wormers at our local Petco, selected this one. On day 3 the worms came out, though her poor bloated belly was reduced after the first day. Will use this again if worming can't wait for the vet. Due to her weight we did have to weigh out the medicine (half a gram ='s 1/4 teaspoon), and you must have an accurate weight on the dog and an accurate measuring device for it to be as effective as it can be without giving too much. Each pack 40 pounds. Total 80 pound dog. Sprinkle in with a quarter cup of warm broth, stir well. pour over their dry food and blend in. They won't notice and eat their food. Sneaky but, it works. Saves me tons of money. I have two large dogs and Heart-guard can be very expensive every month so I subsitute during the cool to cold months. You save and your dogs stay healthy from worms. My 7 year old Scottie has been to the vet for Cortizone shots every year for several years, plus I have used vet reccomended supplements, vet reccomended shampoos, plus every different type of flea and tick prventors, in trying to control his skin itching and hot spots. We changed his dog food to all natural (expensive) dog food, finally started making his food ourselves, trying beef, turkey, chicken, all with no change or relief. He has scratched and pulled his hair out every summer, with nothing helping except for the cortizone shot, and I am reluctant to give that to him, except almost as an emergency. I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. Im not a vet but am thinking whatever it was it was some type of fungal infection. Benefits of product; it wasnt expensive, was easy to apply, and has a light pleasant scent.Debbie

I am so thankful to have found this today! My poor dog could not stop scratching and licking under his front legs, and they were raw and bleeding. He was whimpering but would not stop. I came home and sprayed the areas with this, and he didn’t freak out like I thought so I know it didn’t hurt! He became calm and only tried to lick a few times before he relaxed and rested. My avid little mouser cat caught herself a little prize just a few days before a month-prior planned trip my husband and i were unavoidably about to go to. Apparently that mouse had bitten her back in the process, right on her tender little lip cleft! Before we knew it, that bite had gotten infected so bad she became lethargic, her face swollen an angry shade of red, she could not eat or even drink on her own and she could not even close her mouth and was drooling on herself. Because of the covid situation and proximity of timing to our trip to see family, there was no way to get her to a vet in time before we had to leave in 3-4 days. So we did the best we could with a dropper to feed and water her and rushed out to get Vetericyn to help stave off the infection which reduced the angry redness to a healthier pinkish. For the very few days we had before we had to go, I was keeping her hydrated and was spraying her face with the Vetericyn regularly (as directed) even as we headed out the door with one last treatment. We did cut our weekend trip short by a day out of concern for her, but when we came back she was doing significantly better in that the swelling was down, but was reddened again. Back to the spray treatment, make sure she got dropper-watered, and by that evening she was gingerly back to parking in her 'askance' spot hoping for bits of our chicken dinner! I fully believe that had we not gotten Vetericyn and treated her with it in the few days prior to leaving that we wouldn't still have her today. Using this for hot spots on my canine, this stuff does work but it sometimes can take up to 2 8oz. Bottles to heal the area's treated. Not sure if it's the strength of medicine or just those stubborn spots. I caught the spots early on and started treating them immediately and have been treating them for a month now and they are getting better but slowly, these things are stubborn. I can say that absolutely nothing else I tried worked. Believe it or not, I read online the other day that rubbing Pepto Bismol on hot spots actually works, you heard right, Pepto Bismol. I haven't had the nerve to try it as I thought it could just be some nut trying to infect your pet even worse. I put my two dogs on PROTECT but can't say what its actual effects were. With just one jar, my 6 mo. old French bulldog's slight gas increased immediately. He could clear out a room. MY 8-yr. old Amstaff/Basenji mix with rib bone cancer began eating dirt and eventually developed severe pancreatitis he's still recovering from. Since taking both dogs off PROTECT, the puppy's gas has diminished. Perhaps if we continued longer I'd know for sure but that's not an option, given the severe pancreatitis which almost took my dog. I'm on the second tub of Protect and just ordered a third. We had a scare with our 14+ Aussie who developed acute G.I. issues (for the first time ever) after a recent lar par surgery. Bear had to take so many post surgery meds and began to decline rapidly. I hated giving him all those meds but felt that we had no choice. We needed something more than his usual probiotic to balance him. Along with Protect, I added raw goat kefir, SAME and b12 to his diet. Two months later, he seems stabilized with good looking poops :)). He also developed reflux although some homeopathic remedies have reduced the frequency. Wish Four Leaf Rover had a product for that. Max was 1 year old when we adopted him and I realized he had digestive/gut issues. His foster home was feeding him cheap dry food so I gradually switched him to high quality raw food and his condition improved but, he still had occasional mucus and blood and test's didn't show any parasites or infection. Our vet just wanted to keep Max on antibiotics & antacids, and put him on Hills prescription food that contains corn and other junk. I refused the prescription food and tried a round of antibiotics and antacid for Max and he still had problems. I researched probiotics and tried several, his problems improved but they didn't totally clear up. I eventually found DN products and put Max on Gut Guard and his digestive issues completely healed. It works on my dogs. There are seven 10 year olds left, of a litter of nine. Three have had cancer surgery, and are taking it in the morning and evening. Turkey Tail seems to give boosting power to the remedies they take. One has outlived his date with death. With Wheatgrass Therapy, along with Critical Immune Defense, the difference is notable. My girl Patches had a lump on her front leg. It turned out to be a sarcoma. We removed the tumor and discussed radiation therapy. I made the decision to wait and see what would happen.. She was 14.years old and would have to be put to sleep 15 straight days for radiation. After 8 months, the tumor returned. My vet said the only way to really take care of this was to remove her leg. Again, she was now almost 15 years old and I did not want to traumatize her that way. We took the tumor off again but I knew that if it grew back again, I would need to make other decisions. I started giving her food with the Critical immune Defense in it. It has been almost a year now and the tumor has not come back! She does have some other health issues but at 15.75 years old, she appears to be doing okay as far as the cancer is concerned. I am very pleased with the results. I have three cats that seem to need better nutrition, even with good food. This mixes well with the soft food, and I add a little bit of water. They are very discerning though; they know if I try to add extra. One cat I got as a kitten was a rescue and was probably on his last day of life. He was starving, covered with lice and fleas and trying to eat stones. He was so tiny, he fit in the palm of your hand. Fortunately, he was saved and now he is a big, sweet 20-pound boy, but he has had immune issues such as eye infections. He hasn't had an infection lately. He especially needs this product.Linda B.

I started my 13 yr old lab on this product as the muscles in her hind legs were starting to get weak. I used it up until she died at 15 yrs old and truly noticed a difference in her muscle and walking. I am now giving it to my 13 yr old husky X who was diagnosed with bone cancer.
