As other reviewers have stated…"What a JOKE" and this thing is indeed a "DUMPSTER FIRE!" My son and I were so excited to build this only to find the gingerbread was hard as a rock and you had to break them apart, which I knew would end terribly…and it did. Even with the sharpest knife, I carefully attempted to cut them apart only to find them breaking all over the place and crumbling. I don't know why these had to come stuck together. That's just stupid! If you're even lucky enough to break them all apart and they do stay together, the houses are so TINY and of course, there's never enough candy and frosting. The frosting was separated and looked spoiled. The houses were all stuck together and was difficult to separate each house from the other. The pieces were not consistent in size, this made it very difficult to build and put together. The gingerbread did not taste good and the candy tasted bad as well, my kids refused to eat them and threw the left over candy away. Do not buy this set. It does not have the plastic slotted EZ Build Tray as stated and that is one of the main reasons I ordered 12 of this kit for a class. Not a huge deal, it's plenty easy to cut the tip off a plastic baggie, but why include it and not have it be functional? | Directions | Tools to Make Building E-Z! E-Z build tray makes building quick & simple. 2 decorating tips. Pre-made icing (white) with tip. 5 E-Z Steps: 1. Icing Bag Preparation: Knead/massage the icing pouch for 1 – 2 minutes bringing icing to room temperature and making it more adhesive. Cutting the Icing Tip: Remove cap and snip the tip 1/4 inches from the end. Your icing is now ready for assembling the house. 2. Arrange House Pieces for Assembly: Lay out house on table line the 4 canals of E-Z Build tray with a strip of icing. On the reverse (rough side) of front and back panels as shown.
