I have an English Bulldog mix puppy and it seems like I am always bathing or cleaning him in some way. He likes to get in to things and get dirty but he does not like taking baths. I was cleaning his ears with just some cotton swabs and a little bit of cleaner before but I figured I needed to find something that was actually made to help dogs ears. When I saw this ear cleaner on the site I figured I would give it a try to see how it worked and if it would help my pup out. I used it on his ears shortly after I received it in the mail to see if it would help. The ear cleaner is made with all natural ingredients and is a powerful formula but gentle enough for sensitive ears. It contains aloe vera, Boswallia Berrata gum, tea tree oil, vitamin e and oak extract. It doesn't contain any harsh chemicals or toxins and is safe to use with dogs of all ages and breeds. It is supposed to help reduce inflammation and heal ear aches, rashes, itchiness and any general discomfort for the dogs as well as helping keep ears clean and healthy. It is really easy to use and not much is needed when it is used. I applied the cleaner to my dogs ears by putting a couple drops inside his ears and then massaging them gently so it would go down inside and then I cleaned the inside of his ear with a cotton swab. He did not like it the first couple times I used it because I think he was not used to it but after that he didn't mind it. I have used it several times now and it is seeming to help keep his ears clean from all the grime that was inside of them. I haven't had any problems with this ear cleaner so far and am happy that I found it because it is actually helping my pup. Not only do I love it, but my cats love it. It smells great, so they don't have to run around smelling awful. It is not greasy or anything like that. My cats usually don't like me putting anything in their ears, but they don't seem to mind this. I can't attest to how they feel about it, but I like it. It is easy to use and there isn't alot of mess to clean up afterwords. They haven't been scratching around their ears as much, they don't have ear mites or anything like that, I just think they were dry. So I think this helps moisturize them some because they have quit scratching. The ingrediants are all natural (Contains Aloe Vera, Boswallia Berrata gum, tea tree oil, Vitamin E and oak extract), so I don't mind putting them in some place as sensitive as my cat's ears.
