Bought this for Marnie and she got a little taste and was sneezing and walked away. She is 3 yrs old and has some bad breath for such a little dog, she refused both brushes and and we could not get either to get near her. The product smells nice and may work for large dogs or our dog may just be scared of everything but i was able to get a small amount on my finger and in her mouth , gum area before she ran off sneezing. Well this is certainly a new experience for me and the dog! For over 2 weeks now, I have just been using the mint toothpaste which is incredibly minty and not sure the dog likes it, however I have been getting her used to having something in her mouth (other than food) and use my finger with some of the paste on it. The finger brush which slips over your finger is cumbersome and awkward to use. The rubber end which cleans the teeth is small and quite neat but the rest of it is too unwieldy to comfortably slide in a mouth which is a bit reluctant to open. The toothbrush seems OK, but haven't really given it a good test yet. The instructions on the pack are not very informative about how much toothpaste you actually need to use per session and also if I am doing it correctly. Currently am just using the toothpaste on my finger, but I think will try another flavour and probably an easier finger brush if such a thing exists.Claire P

Before I even opened the package, Cooper was licking his lips for these breath bites. Once I got the package open, he immediately started going through his trick routine with the hope of getting a treat. He scarfed the treat down and came back looking for more. Since then, I've used these to reward him and to help freshen his breath. Cooper's got some stinky breath and I think these do a nice job of helping keep that away. I was giving him 2-3 at a time, not sure if I would have noticed a change with just 1 treat. I've been giving my 1 year old mini aussie shepherd these snack for a few days and he loves it. The packaging is nice and comes with a re-sealable top. The treats are about an inch long and bite sized. It has a very strong scent which the dog is attracted to. It freshens his breath and it's a huge plus because he loves to give kisses. My dog loves the flavor of these treats. The texture when she chews them seems to be different than other treats she's had. It appears as though she continues to chew/lick for several seconds after the treat is fully gone, which she's never done with either crunchy or soft/chewy treats from any brands we've tried in the past. As far as the breath improvement, I honestly didn't notice any difference for my pup. She's never had really bad breath, just the typical dog breath until she started developing tartar buildup when she turned 5 years old. That's when her breath changed. Brushing her teeth has helped a bit with breath since it's combating the tartar. So unfortunately, I can't say if these treats would actually help with bad breath just on their own. I have been using this on my does teeth on and off for a few months now, lately because of the results I noticed I am trying to be more consistent. I either just rub the gel on my teeth with my finger or when I have more time I brush his teeth which has been giving the best results with the gel. I bought wisps and took out the beads and use them as little toothbrush’s, they work amazing, since my dog has such a small mouth (Chihuahua). Where I noticed the major results was his back teeth, they were really starting to build up with a lot of plaque, very dark yellow. They are almost white right now!!! I’ve been looking for ways to freshen up my dogs' breath so I decided to try the fresh breath oral care spray. I’ve noticed that every time I use this product his breath smells a lot better with one spray only. I also like how the ingredients are simple. One of my dog absolutely loves this stuff. He knows when it's time for his teeth brushing and sits their and licks all of the paste through the cracks in his teeth while I brush. My other dog is still getting used to his face being touched, but he has been enjoying the taste of the paste. I have noticed less plaque and buildup on my dog's teeth since we started using it. I don’t exactly know if it’s vanilla, mint, that I am smelling, but her breath is definitely better than what it was before having one. I usually give her one before bed. Because she had pneumonia before she came to us, it wasn't unforeseen that she was diagnosed with asthma. She coughed almost every day at some point. Have you brushed your dog's teeth lately? My review is on Vet's Best, Dental Gel Toothpaste. I know and understand just how important my dog's dental care really is. I haven't done such a good job on brushing their teeth. The starting point is to find a quality toothpaste for my dogs. After using, "Vet's Best" Nature's Health Care, Dental Gel Toothpaste, I think it is indeed, a quality toothpaste. The toothpaste's ingredients were formulated by a Veterinarian using a combination of natural ingredients. Those ingredients include Neem oil, baking soda, grapefruit seed extract, aloe and enzymes. My older dog hasn't had her teeth brushed in a good while. This will be the first time for my younger dog. I know it will take some time to get them use to this routine so, I plan to brush their teeth at least 2-3 times a week. Some dog owners brush their dog's teeth everyday. You will have to make that decision yourself. My older dog's gums bled a little more than I expected. Therefore, everyday is not a good idea for her until this bleeding stops. The younger dog was frightened and he was most difficult to hold. I brushed his but it was difficult at best. In time he will settle down. I bought the Sentry Petrodex Natural Toothpaste Peanut Flavor for my Yorkie-Poo about 4 to 6 months ago. It's actually not bad my pup loves the taste but the cleaning not so much, I bought the finger toothbrushes along with the toothpaste and it's very difficult to use. The toothpaste has gotten some of her tartar to reduce it's actually noticeable. I bought it once I noticed her tooth was a bit yellow and after two days of brushing her teeth there was only a little yellow left since she wouldn't let me get all the way to her molars.
