This inflatable collar worked perfectly for my dogs needs! He is a senior dog with an eye issue. Our veterinarian sent him home with “the cone” to wear for one week. After I asked about this type of collar. My Vet said it would be fine. So, I purchased this one. It’s very light weight and since it goes around the neck it’s easier for my pup to get around. It is somewhat adjustable and closes with A Velcro strap. The most important thing is my dog cannot scratch at his injured eye so he will be protected. He also has better visibility wearing this than the cone. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that has an injured fur baby. But check with your vet just to be on the safe side.

Our 17 lb. Cairn Terrier was fixed yesterday and had his 4 dewclaws removed. His neck measures 14-inches. When I was in the store looking at the small and medium sizes, I decided to go with the medium, even though the box said the small fit up to 15-inches. The small collar might have worked, but it just looked too small. The medium works well! I also looked at those plastic cones and this type just looked like it would be more comfortable. Glad I made this decision. Even thought our dog was not supposed to go downstairs, he just snuck down. I bought two for my puppies one male one female. When they got home with the cones they looked so pitiful. I went to Petco and picked up 2 of the small size. They could reach close to their incision. Both got fixed. But it deterred them enough that it worked for us, we used it 24/7, they could eat drink and sleep with it more comfortably. After a week they started playing rougher and they could pull them off and I'd put them back on. I wasn't fast enough that my one chewer got to the zipper area. And somehow chewed the zipper pull and the where u blow it up. I did have to blow it up a couple times during the week, but I think they needs better tube/valve for the cost. Also would like to see a cover over the zipper that is velcro (after a few times using the zipper it would pop open) and a plastic zipper pull instead of metal. One pull had gone missing 🙁 hope it wasn't swallowed. For the most part I'd rather use this then the cone.Puppy mom 33

My dog ended up having cancer tumors removed from his back knee he would have anxiety attacks with the regular plastic cone. Wasn’t able to eat or drink with it on. Got him the inflatable one.
