Reviews:
This really is a tremendously different product. 127 settings seemed overwhelming to me. As I use this more and more as I train my dog, I’m able to see what that really means. In the past, collars I’ve used only had a few settings, so moving up or down a notch so to say was a dramatic difference, while the dogtra allows me to fine tune the stim very minimally until I find my dogs “number” for the variety of situations. I feel this is really helping the bond with my dog and therefore training is improved.MountainGSD
I bought the Dogtra 280C to use with my very active and agile 1 year old Toy Austrailian Sheppard for stopping unwanted behaviors like digging up my lawn and attacking the cat. The transmitter and receiver both hold charges for days, and easily sync by just holding the two units next to one another at the red dots for a second. The 1/2 mile range is more than enough to reach out and touch her for a friendly reminder to come in for supper. The LCD screen is super nice to see stimulation level at night or when I don't have my glasses with me. My girlfriend owns my dogs twin brother, he also needed corrective training, therefor being as pleased as I am with the performance of my Dogtra 280C, I couldn't help but buy one for her to use with him as well.Red Dogg 47
I was scared of e-collars. But this morning we had the most excellent training session with my huge puppy. He gets to run and play and explore and his recall was PERFECT for the first time thanks to the collar! We're early in the training, but I am SUPER impressed so far. Just amazing.dferret

Reviews:
Have used Sportdog training collars for about 10 years. Decided to replace the Sport Dog 3-dog system. Did a lot of research and found numerous people suggesting the Garmin Pro 70. I can't say enough good things about the Pro 70. Easy to use and very dependable. I definitely made the right decision going with the Pro 70 from Outdoor Dog Supply.
3. Company Of Animals Pet Corrector Dog Training Aid – 50 Ml Can

Product Details:
The pet corrector emits a hiss of compressed gas (hfc 134a) which is completely safe for animals and produces a broad spectrum sound (white noise) varying from a low frequency rumble to a high frequency hiss to interrupt a dog's unwanted behaviour. the overall effect is to grab the attention of a dog. dogs exhibit a wide range of reactions according to their hearing sensitivity and prior conditioning. nevertheless, almost all dogs initially react to the pet corrector because the sound is genetically programmed to be associated with danger, such as from the hiss of a snake, an angry swan or the buzz of a dangerous insect. other uses the pet corrector is not just for dogs. on dr mugford's farm, one young horse has a playful (and cruel) tendency to chase and bite sheep. another, enjoyed chewing post and rail fences. both 'misbehaviours' can be interrupted, even from a distance, by the pet corrector. cats can misbehave too! the pet corrector can be used effectively to interrupt their stalking and catching birds and to stop them using furniture as scratching posts. the holster does not come with a 50 ml canister.

Reviews:
We absolutely ADORE this product for our dog! She is a mixed breed whose dominant behaviours reflect her Australian Cattle Dog DNA, and when she gets fixated on something (our cat, our food, us) this Pet Correcter is the only thing we've found that can bring her out of the fixation. We tried the coins in a can, the clicker, a whistle, other devices, and this is the one to which she responds every time. We love that it's not harmful, it hasn't caused her any kind of startle or nervous behaviours upon hearing the sound, and it has enabled us to use verbal 'hisses' when we don't have it at hand to break her fixation. We love it, and so glad Petco carries it in the larger size!Cerebreality
So I bought this today , mostly out of because my nerves are gone from a dog I have that barks at EVERYTHING. I have other dogs and if they even move to change their laying position or I get up to go into other room, she barks non stop. So when I went into the store today and talked to the team member about what I was wanting and her behaviors she suggested this product. I came home and when she started barking and I told her to stop and when she didn't I sprayed it.,it was an IMMEDIATE quiet. then she did it again and I said no, she continued to bark so I sprayed it again. and WOW she stopped. I have to say I am so happy right now, with having 4 dogs 3 of whom like to bark it is hardly ever quiet in here, someone moves or knocks on door or it is feeding time it is a mad house in here. I LOVE IT AND I WILL BE BUYING MORE TO USE TO HELP TRAIN HER MORE. I asked her to stop tonight when my son grabbed trash bags ( another thing that sets her off) and she stopped when I asked her to… I will be calling the store I bought it from and thank the person whom helped me. Sorry this review is so long, but 6 yrs of this and nothing else has helped.renee513
I have a dog who had a very bad and dangerous habit of chasing cars. I tried everything to fix this including: high frequency sounds, treats and positive reinforcement, training, vibrations, physically restraining and even an e collar. Nothing worked, at least not consistently. I bought a can of this and my dog has stopped chasing cars after the FIRST spray! I dont even have to use it, just the sight of the can and he goes on his best behavior. It also has remedied excessive barking. I can't say enough good things about this product, it has been a total game changer for me. I immediately bought two more to stock up.RKRK

Already a fan of Sportdog, Ive been using a single collar for 8 yrs with no issues. This control is more exact with 2 or more collars, I use three collars and I love it. A word of caution with the camo controller and dog collar, if you drop it in the woods youll never find it. Go with the hunter orangested1201
The transmitter will not charge, despite my having ordered a new battery. The collar receives and charger work just fine, but the transmitter does not work well…it lost its charge and I can't recharge it…so it's a very expensive one-time-use collar. I should have spent just a little more for a Garmin.CabelasSucks111

Reviews:
I liked the idea of a collar with vibration and sound versus shock or static. Didn't want to hurt my dog, just wanted to get his attention. The vibration works the best on mine, he learned within a day or two that when I called his name, I wanted him to come to me. In fact, it worked so well that I no longer need the collar for the negative behavior he displayed when I first bought it. And that's a darned good thing because an updated to the app in late April this year (changed from one app to another, forced not by choice) has rendered the collar worthless. The app itself is impossible to connect to the collar 99% of the time. If I was buying a collar again, I'd buy the same collar but would NOT opt for the phone app. I'd get it with a remote. The collar works, you won't hurt your pup, (don't use the static!) and the end result is the exclusion of negative behavior. Just be sure you don't get the one with the phone app.Mimi2Six
I literally just bought this yesterday! It is such a waste of money. The fact that it disconnects so much, and takes forever to reconnect to the collar is a terrible feature. How are you supposed to train a dog when you spend more time “connecting” to the collar. What a waste of $94. Would love to get my money back or have a collar that actually does what it’s intended to do.Terrible collar
I’ve always been hesitant because I always thought that the smart colors shock the dog but I do enjoy the vibration aspect of it because it’s not harmful to my baby. It’s helping me control behaviors like staying off of the furniture and not pulling on the leash and within the short time we’ve use it I can already see you a little bit of improvement on his behavior in these areas. He will walk next to the couch but will not get on it he’ll lay in front of it which is what we wanted. And he’s also stopped tugging at the leash on walks. I am definitely Happy with this product. I also like that you can control the level of the vibration on the collar. So what we did was we gradually increase the intensity of the vibration until we knew that he could fill it we know that it would probably be a pretty high because he does have thick for him but it startles him it doesn’t it doesn’t hurt him and that’s what’s most important. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who’s wanting to train their dogs in the humane way with physical reinforcement without harming their pet.Lorielnj

Reviews:
My dog really likes this brand of treats, and I do as well because they’re quite easy to break into smaller pieces for training purposes. However, as soon as I opened the last bag I bought of these, I knew immediately I wouldn’t purchase any more of them. They were rock hard and extremely dry right out of the bag. This totally defeats the purpose I use them for— which is breaking them into smaller pieces when training and using whole pieces as a higher reward.kronos1119

Reviews:
I purchased this one as I wanted a wireless version vs the perimeter one I had to bury. We use this when we go fishing as well as around the house. We have only had to use the continuous shock once at level 2. The tone works so well we dont really need the other features but we have them just in case, our dog decides to be really stubborn in the future. My favorite is how easy it is to use, charge and the fact the tone is the best way to get my dog's attention. It has not taken long for him to know the remote goes to his collar and that just showing him he knows to heel or the tone sound will come on and get his attention quickly. My sister is purchasing one as well since my purchase, as she has seen how much it has helped our strong willed dog. He just needed a little extra guidance for his safety as we live off a highway and next to woods with coyotes. Definitely would buy again and looking forward to showing my sister how to work hers next week.Countrysun
Really enjoy the simplicity of the collar and remote. My only wish is that the vibrate setting was higher, our deaf American bully doesn't respond to the vibrate setting very well. Other than that we really enjoy this tool and it's nice to have something to grab her attention when getting too far.Tatorgator
Literally bought this as my second attempt first was a petsafe wireless fence and it wasn’t as user friendly as this petsport with a remote. I’m able to keep basic corrections in house and outside in the yard! I was worried it wouldn’t be small enough for my mini Heeler but the collar comes with an abundant amount of holes for proper fit on anything ! Supper pleased with the collar and the three bases it has for training. The beep tone the one hit simulation and the longer hit stimulation gives me theee options to ask my dog according to what she’s doing. I like that it can be supper mild and allow her the chance to be asked nicely and then reinforced mildly and then reinforcement with a sterner setting. A true life saver. My pup was running out to the neighbors across the street and up to meet cars it literally only took thirty mins in house training on basics and then outside yard training for a little under an hour! I am now no longer stressed about her getting hurt she comes right back to me and treats me as I am her safe spot! I thought it would discourage her but if taken time and reading directions and applying properly you will have a new dog !Heeler

Reviews:
It is simple and easy to get started. Distance is accurate. If puppy/ dog has thick fur definitely have to unlock static levels. Vibrate only one level no to slight response viewd with our dog thick fur. Battery life not best, no off switch for remote, and you can only do 2 choices quickly (tone and vibrate or tone and static) only negatives. We use tone and static due to our dogs thick fur/ response.WMA6
I bought the 300 yard lite about 2 months ago for my 1 yr old Springer spaniel who is a little shy and very sensitive to corrections yet loves to bark at the neighbors. He usually stays in yard but does wander to neighbors on occasion to bark at them. Underground fencing not a good option for me so I tried this device. Wow it’s amazing! I trained him on our boundaries and recall with lots of praise and have only had to use the tone and vibration modes. The barking and preoccupation with neighbors has decreased substantially. He also loves to swim and I love that this collar is waterproof. I hope it withstands all the summer swimming and lasts over time. It does say it’s waterproof.Lakegirl97
We have had this PetSafe 300 for a couple of years now. It most definitely works in the 300 yard area. It is also very tough! It has survived several playful Corgis, and is now on a very rambunctious German Shepard. We really like the many selections you have with this trainer, from low to high. The hand held remote battery seems to last forever between charges, but the collar not so long. We seem to only get two days worth out of a charge at the most, which is why I can't give it a full 5 star rating. I would give it 4.5 starts if that was possible. Overall we would definitely buy again. We are looking to get another collar so the other can charge while one is on the rambunctiously large German Shepard puppy. I say puppy.. She's like 75lbs!!! LoL!Tvanderm
10. Dogtra Remote Training Collar 2-Dog 202c

Product Details:
Dogtra 200c training collars are a great entry-level trainer for sensitive and small dogs. the dogtra 200c training collar has all the basic components needed for successful behavior management of your dog. designed for mild-mannered dogs that do not require a high level of stimulation. choose nick stimulation for fine-tuning your educated dog, or continuous stimulation to introduce new commands. "exact-stim" stimulation control function enables you to select the perfect level of static correction for your dog without worrying about large jumps between levels. the non-stimulating pager/ vibration function lets you get your dog's attention without the use of static correction. in many cases, once a dog has been corrected with static stimulation a few times, trainers can switch to the "attention getter" mode and avoid the use of static correction except on rare occasions. convenient rechargable lithium polymer batteries are long-lasting and easy to maintain. the low-battery indicator tells you when to recharge. because both the transmitter and receiver are waterrpoof, the trainer goes where you and your dog go – no restrictions, no cautions. there are also over 3000 different identity codes to identify your personal trainer and to prevent conflicts from other e-collars in your vicinity.

This is an amazing product, once fitted properly it works perfectly and now my dog has loads more freedom off lead especially in high wildlife areas (that is mostly in our town boundary). The customer service from Bark Control was instant and the advice was thorough when I had trouble with the product to start with but is now rectified and I’m a very happy customer. Thank youJudi L.
The on-line Walmart experience was as good as the best service there is, and much better than most. Ordered on Wednesday, at my door on Friday. Free shipping. The Dogtra Arc collar is just what my American Treeing Feist, 11 month puppy needed. I had borrowed the same collar from my daughter for about a month, but she needed it back, so for the past two months he had begun to get a little independent in the woods. As soon as I put the new Arc collar around his neck, he was a changed dog. Even without paging him, he began to hunt about 75 yards out and would return to check on me every few minutes. Whenever he gets out of sight, and seems to wander too long, I simply "page" him about three seconds and he comes running. Only twice in the past week have I had to stimulate him, somewhere between level 6 and 11. Then for a day or two after that, only the pager button is needed to turn him around. It's high quality; so, it means durability and efficiency. My dog's trainer, well…, he's training me…, to use it correctly and create an excellent communication/relationship. Please look for a professional trainer that has the knowledge of this tool, so you have success in its use. Not to be used without professional advice. My doggy is happy and I'm happier as can be!piu_jean
Awesome tool when used sparingly.Buckeye

These charcoal pads are a new product for my rescue doggo Addie and I. Our 15 pound mix is limited to indoors and has been trained to the pads. That means lots of toilet duty and smells are a problem to keep up with. So far I've noticed a difference from previous pads in absorbency and the urine odor, and it seems not quite as strong as usual, (barring her water intake naturally). The color is new, the black pads keep the urine from showing up on the pad so you have to be careful not to mistake what would've looked like a blank spot when you do your clean up. Not a problem just a heads up. The price point is good and there's no scent associated with the clean dry pad. I believe we will try these again.PAMELA
Walmart was out of the blue puppy training. So we decided to try the charcoal puppy training pads, since the package says that it's more absorbent and controls orders. We were a little sceptical about it controls orders, but the charcoal pads really does! So this is our second package. Wal-Mart 's service is great. Items are always delivered by the delivery date they set with no damage. Thank you Wal-Mart.Sandra
I have 3 Chihuahuas mother and 2 babies now 5 months i always use a blue pad. I always wondered why was the pee passing through when not peeing on a corner i went to an xlarge and i have 2 sections in my home where they do there business i was so unsatisfied with the brand i was buying and so expensive a friend told me about glad and this was a life saver my floors are always dry now the only thing i don't like you can not stick them to the floor so when my dogs go in a circle looking for there spot the pads roll around with them 😆 but got some tape and job done. Glad training pads in my opinion is my number one brand from now on and will let others knowAnna Vazquez

People often get this collar to gain control of their dog and because they don't feel they have any other options. I found that 2 Hounds Designs makes very strong and excellent harnesses and leashes to help you gain better control of your pup. Trust me, their tried and true. You'll be able to walk your pet like a pro!!! And best of all, your pet will be very comfortable.Great Life
I bought this collar a couple weeks ago, and I am so glad I did! My dog, Bella, constantly pulled against her flat collar on walks and when she’d see another dog or person, she would lunge. The constant pulling made me concerned for the damage she was doing to her trachea. This pulling behavior also caused me to stumble along awkwardly behind her, while trying not to fall. I felt like I wasn’t in control, but with this collar, I am! I noticed an immediate difference with her behavior on the first walk. I introduced the collar to her gently before our walk so she would feel the pinch and know not to lunge forward. We have been using it on all our walks for the last couple weeks and she no longer pulls. Her interactions with other dogs and people have become less reactive as well. I am not worried about her damaging her trachea or about her pulling me to the ground anymore. It has restored order to the time I spend with her walking and enjoying the nice weather! If you have a leash reactive dog, I highly recommend this collar. It’s a game changer!ewaters2395
We have gone through two of these in two days! The quick release mechanism is what broke both times. We have a 50 pound Husky that we put on a tether in our yard. The first time it broke, the quick release mechanism shattered. The second time it broke partially but remains non functional. The dog got loose and ended up on a busy road. We’ve only had him for a month and because it’s winter we haven’t explored the neighborhood as much as we would like. I’ve used the pinch collar with other dogs but will never use this one and highly recommend that no one else does either!!Stacie1379

Bought this last fall for upland hunting and general training for my GSP. Worked amazing. I had it in sub zero temps in the dakotas pheasant hunting and got it soaking wet duck hunting, functioned flawlessly. I very seldom have to shock him now, he responds to the vibrate function. I bought this after researching for several months. I have a buy once cry once mentality and am glad I paid a little extra. I love the digital reading so I know exactly what level of stimulation I am giving him. I actually tried it out on myself before I put it on my dog. I really couldn't feel anything until I got to level 20. My dog started acknowledging it at level 30, and that is where it has stayed. I haven't ever needed any more than that. Two friends have since bought this same ecollar and are extremely happy.RDiddy
Range is good, I do not like the settings for the shock control are not able to be locked! You can set it on setting 30 and put transmitter in pocket. When you remove it from pocket it maybe on 50! You also have to turn transmitter on and off! Other units do not use power unless control buttons are pressed!Jim
This product was exactly as described. The length of the two collars are long enough to be worn on a smaller or a larger dog. I have two boxers and have plenty of collar length so I feel that they would fit a very large dog. The control works well and is easy to manipulate. I can easily use the vibrate and shock buttons. The only "oops" thing that could happen is hitting the control shut off and shock button at the same time. The control shut off button is on one side of the unit and the shock buttons are on the opposite side. So when I am holding the control unit in one hand to shut it off, I have to be careful not to push the shock button in response to the pressure I am putting on the shut off button. Therefore I remove the collars before I shut the unit off. I am very happy with this product.boxer mum
16. Dt Systems R.a.p.t. 1400 Dog Trainer

Product Details:
Specifications:
Weight | 1.65 lb |
Reviews:
I really liked the quality of this training system. Over all the Pro system works as described. However, the collar attached to this system is longer than needed and shortening the strap is questionable given the contact wire that runs through the strap. Also, the strap would be more beneficial to be a snap locking system rather than a buckle. As my dog recognizes the purpose of the collar, she is not a fan, and likes to put up some resistance when having it placed on her. Given a snap system would take seconds to secure rather than a wrestling match.Runningguard
I did a lot of research on ecollars before deciding to purchase this one. I got this for a dog that is a rescue who has had some major behavior issues. I use the collar for training and he is excelling at everything. The only thing I would caution would not be specific to this ecollar but to all ecollars. Watch the fit. The band stretches after it's worn a few times and needs to be tightened on the dog's neck. Be sure to start out at the lowest level and only go up in slight increments until your dog reacts to the zap. This will prevent you from using more power than needed. I have three dogs and will be purchasing additional collars for my other two dogs. All three can work from this one remote. Switching from dog to dog is done by simply turning a dial.justjen
I’m very satisfied with the R.A.P.T. 1400, the remote is very user friendly and I’m so happy to have a back of the hand setup. Battery life on the collar itself seems to be much improved over my previous models of collar. My one and only complaint is the collar itself is already starting to separate layers, fraying at the feed point and I’ve had to trim and tape twice in less than a month of use (my other collars took years for this to happen). Training is quite enjoyable with the ergonomics of the remote and the programmable quick button is definitely a nice touch. Deserves a 5 star review but can’t give it that because of the actual collar falling apartJames
17. Four Paws Wee-Wee Dog Training Pads, 22 In X 23 In, 100 Count

Product Details:
Four paws wee wee pads original the super absorbent wee-wee pad is scientifically treated to attract puppies when nature calls. plastic lining prevents damage to floors and carpets. four paws wee-wee pads are versatile in that they can be used for training or as an everyday alternative to the outdoors when pets are housebound.
Reviews:
They must have changed their product. I never had this problem before. It would be nice if the pee pads had some attractant sprayed on the actual pee pad rather than on the blue plastic surrounding the pee pad. My pup sniffs the blue plastic and pees there. More often than not, the pee runs off onto the carpet.Graceless
These puppy training pads are excellent for homes with more than one dog. The size is great giving them additional room for going potty. The pads are extremely absorbent and manage to catch and trap the pee even if the dog goes very close to the edge of the pad thus eliminating the need to have to wipe up the mess on the floor. They work great if you have to be away for a longer bit of time. I usually place two down at night time to give them extra potty room and rarely have a mess on the floor in the morning when I get up.JenniferWw
Our ChiPug (female) is about 100% "WeeWee" trained and 99.8% PooPoo trained on the pad. We leave the WeeWeePad and Pad Holder also available at Petco in the Bathroom. Using the Pad Holder prevents leakage from the sides. FYI: Our ChiPug is also free to roam off the bed when she feels the need to relieve herself. I follow her sometimes and our baby girl goes straight to it. Because for #2(PooPoo) She wags her tail to say…Mommy or Daddy I did #2. Now please wipe me. FYI: our baby girl refuses to PooPoo outside even on her longer walks. She would rather come home and poo on the "WeeWee" Pads. And we pick it up and flush her cute little PooPoo down the toilet. She is a Clean-Clean dog, she waits for her paws and her nose to be cleaned for "WashWash" *On-Line Purchase Review *chichi007

Reviews:
I buy at least two bags every week for my 19 year old Jack Russell. Target raised the price $5 back in July, then it went back to $22.99. The product is perfect for my elderly pet, but not my wallet. I don’t understand the drastic $5 hikes. I could see $1-$2 realistically, but a $5 increase is the difference of buying a meal for some families who are just trying to keep their pets comfortable. If you are going to raise the price so fast, at least provide warning or a buy x get one free or % off option.Kim

Reviews:
Bought this for conditional bark training of our English Shepherd- we want him to bark, just NOT in the house, so we need to be able to stop it when we want, not all the time like a bark collar. As another reviewer notes, NOT WATERPROOF. There is a little rubber door on the back over the charge port, but even if you flip it closed and press it down it still springs back up; it gets bent while charging and keeps that shape. Doesn't take much of a gap to suck in water when said puppy loves going for a morning swim in the pond… It hasn't been working recently, so I opened the rubber cover and water dripped out… took it apart and it was ALMOST FULL OF WATER. So much for waterproof! Corrosion on the components shows it's been like this for some time, and just went out. Save your money and get a brand-name unit. This one is not worth the time, unless you can GUARANTEE your pet will NEVER get it wet.NickLPlated
I recently purchased this collar at my local Walmart after reading good reviews. It works great when it is charged up. I've purchased collars online that lasted a while before charging but decided to get this one instead of waiting. Charge time is a couple hours which is fine. Use time, minimal. I charge it full every 1-2 days, that's about how long it lasts on a charge. This is basically the standby time it lasts. With frequent use, you may be looking at daily charging, if not twice a day. In general, the collar is great and does what it's supposed to do. The battery life is the worst part.Robert
I bought a Beagle pup for my kids for Christmas 3 years ago. Little did I know that this little tiny puppy would grow up to put me through more stress and worry than anyone deserves. "Stubborn" just does not cover it. He would get out the house and run and run and run. I'd call his name or try to chase him and he would just run further and further away. He almost gave me a heart attack when he ran into an extremely busy 4 lane highway one morning on one of his runs. I truly thought he was a goner. I have spent so much money on trying to contain him and literally nothing I tried worked. I found the Premier Pet 300 Yard Trainer at Walmart in the pet isle. I had researched the remote control collars and couldn't bring myself to pay upwards of 200+ for something I was skeptical would work in the first place. The price of the 300 Yard Trainer set was around $50 which made me even more skeptical about whether or not it would work. Had I known just how well it did work then I would have paid triple for it. One session was all it took to see a complete turn around in my dog. He does not leave my side when we go out, and if he does wander away a little all I have to do is call him and he IMMEDIATELY returns to me. I truly cannot express how grateful I am for this product. Not only is it affordable but it REALLY works. You can also add a second collar if you have more then one dog. Some people think it's cruel to give a dog a shock, but I truly believe that that one shock probably saved my dogs life. To keep him out of the busy highway I would gladly do it again. I had bought this a week ago in store. I'm so happy with the progress my dog has already made using this. He used to bolt out the gate but now hes always right by my side, checking in on me and making sure I'm keeping up with him. I've finally been able to loose leash walk him without having to worry about him running off. This has help so much in such a short time! I recommend this to one of my neighbors and they say its helped their dog too! My dog is 120 and it still helped, I thought it would completely snap but it's very durable!serena1234
I knew about this product for several weeks, but I delayed in getting it. I thought I'd give the puppy a chance with regular training methods (treats, praise, verbal corrections) before I started futzing with a special collar and have to buy it in two sizes. That was really stupid. I wish I would have bought it sooner and spent the money on the two sizes. I got this one in a size Medium and it fits perfectly with just an easy adjustment of the buckle. Our little man is a Labradoodle, now at about 32 lbs and expected to reach a 60-ish weight probably. He is VERY high energy, very strong and very smart, but our little darling is no longer little and I have been finding myself struggling with his 32 lb self pulling on the walks. I cannot imagine when he is full grown, so I decided finally to nip this in the bud and I ordered the gentle leader. It arrived today and I was amazed at how he has NO power to pull AT ALL. I even noticed that in many situations like when he would normally lunge at something, he didn't, maybe that is just from the novelty and will eventually wear off, but for today, it was as if he had a total attitude adjustment. It was like magic. He is none too pleased about the new situation, for sure, but I am pleased as punch. Will take a few days of working with him to get used to it so he stops trying to pull it down with his paws, but even when he was trying he couldn't get it off successfully unless I let off on the tension to the leash altogether which I was able to correct for easily enough. This is a truly genius product.9112melissa
I am so glad I took the chance and purchased these for my adorable and INSANELY CRAZY JRTs.I have tried it all. Obedience lessons, vibrate collars, halters, treats… but JRTs are very independent minded and unless you spend THOUSANDS on training, forget it.I have disabilities so walking my beloved pups was a challenge most daysMy male is still adjusting. He doesn't like it.However, he will fight a bit but once he puts the one part where the clasp connects to leader and then believes he's walking himself, then he prances down the sidewalk as if he's in control again. Our female is very good with it. You can tell she's not too happy about it, but walks very well now and I don't struggle with them barking ridiculously at bikes, dogs, SQUIRRELS!, etc.She was always running on her halter and now ~I~ WALK my dogs, they don't pull me.I didn't even watch the training DVD. My husband and I just put them on. The 1st eve was a bit difficult, but its been a few days and they are doing way better.I know by next week they will be fine. Jo is stubborn so it will be a few days but Jesse has adjusted. She's just happy to walk anytime. But now there's no pull, waaaay less barking and my whole left disabled side of my body says THANK YOU!Jmyers
