Reviews:
I've had a carpet cleaner for 18 years and it has gotten so heavy now because I broke my neck and I can't push and pull like I use to so I thought I would purchase a new one that was lightweight and easier to use. This is is easier to push and pull but it's not as lightweight as I thought it would be. It works good, picks up well. But I don't like not having a separate tank for the cleaning solution. If you're like me and can't always afford high dollar cleaning solutions and use Pinesol or Lysol to clean your carpet it foams up. You can still do it you just need to be careful how much you use at a time. The tanks are smaller and you have to empty them more often but I knew that when I bought it. I REALLY like where you attach the hose for cleaning your couch. If you don't need it you can keep it put up out of your way. I hated my last one because the hose would always fall off and you would have to stop and wind it back up onto the handle of the cleaner. If you live in a large house this is definitely not for you but it you live in a apartment or mobile home I recommend it highly.Happygirl03
DO NOT BUY…. Horrible design first off making the return tank a nightmare. Second, suctions leaves a lot to be desired…. Third, so loud may drown out a concert…… Here is the reason why I am posting this: 4 months in possession, 3 uses only to have a major part break due to cheap plastic and a roller completely seized. Anything outside the motor such as any moving part has only a 30 day warranty. The warranty is so limited you might as well not even buy it given poor poor quality of products these days. Eventually I fought hard enough to get a replacement, but trust me you do not want the hassles. Stay away unless you absolutely will be buying an extra warranty. That is what companies do anymore, pass the warranty on crap products to insurance… The American Way, no liability and yet make that profit. Serious junk and rollers alone are $82 which is a joke….Brittany
My review is accurate and I endorse this product 💯 % This company is very responsive to solutions to any questions or problems . This shampooer takes deep cleaning to the max with the powerful double antimicrobial power brushes on the Dual Power Max Pet cleaner with heavy-duty bristle action .. i have multiple pets and tough urine stain issues and it did terrific to lift tough, deep down dirt up ans with correct solution the urine stains were successfully removed … one good feature is the built-in edge cleaners that cover edge-to-edge carpet cleaning. This Hoover® Brand pet carpet cleaner's lightweight design, dual tank technology and accessory tool pack makes cleaning tough pet messes easier and was a purchase must for me and my furbabies. Finish fast no soaked carpet and worry if tracking more dirt on damp carpet … with heated cleaning and easy to empty tanks and fast drying. Features listed by the company that I have found to be so accurately depicted… Antimicrobial Pet PowerBrushes: lift the tough, deep down pet stains up and out by scrubbing and grooming for deep carpet clean 👍 Brushrolls and Upholstery Tools: Tools are treated with antimicrobial materials to help prevent bacteria growth and odors … works super 👍 Clean Boost® Control: Adds the extra solution you need to get the tough pet stains up and out HeatForce™ power means faster drying I love the fast drying options !!!! 13" Removable Nozzle: Gives you a wide cleaning path and hassle-free clean-up ( this is very handy and a favorite feature of mine) Large Tank Capacity: Tank makes cleanup easy with fewer trips to the sink ( I hate to get prepared for a big cleaning and be discouraged by things that don't work … that will kill my cleaning mood if I have to repeatedly stop and empty so I like the large capacity tank ! Let's talk long term ::: 2-year Limited Warranty :: the Hoover company stands behind their product ! I personally had an issue and it was quickly resolved and even has follow ups to make sure all was well. So, if there are any in warranty issues feel secure in knowing I give a good report on the companies promot response and resolution. Oh and it's Recommended for rugs also !Judy

Reviews:
I will start off by saying that I had problems with my order but Bissell Customer Service was very good. I would like to thank customer support agent Nilka for their help in resolving the matter. When I finally received my carpet cleaner it was easy to assemble. The instruction manual is well written and easy to follow with diagrams explaining everything in detail. Included in the box is a sample of cleaning solution which was good for just over 3 full tanks of clean water. In use the machine is light weight and easily maneuverable. There is a noticeable change in motor sound when the dirty water tank reaches the full line which is very helpful. I was surprised at how much water was extracted from the carpets. The carpets were just damp after cleaning and dried in about 5-6 hours. Just be sure to go slow during the extraction passes and allow the carpet cleaner to do it's work. The 2 tanks are small but they are easy to remove, drain, refill and replace. I went through approximately 12-14 full tanks to thoroughly clean a large 1 br apartment with wall to wall carpet. (Living room, dining room, bedroom and hallway). The carpet cleaner does an excellent job of cleaning the carpets. Afterwards the carpets are clean, fresh and look revitalized. After use the PowerClean TurboBrush pet advanced carpet cleaner is really easy to thoroughly clean before storing it away. I highly recommend Bissell for both their customer service and superior product.
I purchased this item in a pinch. I was visiting my mom and walked into a house of fleas! Pest control was unavailable for 4 days, and offered a flea bomb service. which meant all animals and people would need to gone for a day. This was a huge problem! My mom has 4 cats and a dog. 2 of the cats are saved strays, so she can not touch them yet. Anyway after googling our options we got some flea meds from the vet, and purchased this item, as my research said fleas drown easily, and any soap will also kill them. We choose this item because it was small and lightweight as neither of us are young anymore. We got it home and assembled it easily. Added water and soap and began flea control! We cleaned the wall to wall carpet in her 2 bedroom flat! It cleaned nicely, and looked good. Everything soft was put in the washer and dryer. It dried in a few hours with the ceiling fans on! We didn't know immediately if we removed any fleas. After pest control came out a week later, they didn't find any! She was given the all clear! Although my first night visiting was spent carpet cleaning the rest of my visit was very nice! This little machine was easy to use, and I ended up purchasing one for myself a couple months later. Neither of our homes are big, so since this is easy to use and lightweight, I can get it upstairs. You have to fill and empty nearly every room, sometimes more depending on size. The dirty water tank looks big but stops picking up water when the noise changes. Which is intensional, so you know when to empty. Looks like it would hold much more, but after a quick empty, it was cleaning again. The power button is in a really weird location, can't hit it with your foot, but is way low down. Again not a big deal, but I would prefer not to bend if I don't have too. This item was decently priced. It was better than renting one of those giant store machines, which would have been a struggle for us to transport and use ourselves. This thing works!Vallerii
Hi, just tried out my new 2806D rug cleaner. I'm a senior with arthritis issues especially in the hands. It is a light a weight machine (good for my hands), it's easy enough to assemble, has a great design (2 compartments, clean water and dirty), it has a good length cord but I had to add an extension cord due to logistical plug outlet situations, but, I did find a couple of challenges…. I find the on/off button to be very difficult to navigate as in it takes several attempts to get it on or off. It is a weird button in my opinion. And I find the latch releases on the dirty tank to be difficult as well; to even be able to open them is challenging. Compared to my last Bissell rug cleaner, this machine seems like a "baby" machine, as in not as big as my original one. But as the reviews state, it does great job! I am not sorry I chose this model and maybe it will get easier with each use.

Reviews:
I got this machine to clean up area rugs, especially because of the dog, there is more dirt ending on the carpet in the family room, regardless of top how well we clean his paws. I used the machine today for the first time and used it with the Bissell's detergent I had sitting around for years (from the previous machine I owed years ago). Since the carpet hasn't been cleaned for a while, I used deep clean setting. It refreshed the carpet all right, especially considering that some dirt has been there for a longer time and may be more stubborn (see pic for the dirt in the dirty water tank) . This being an area rug, I had an issue with tassels, as in spite of me being careful, they got sucked up by the brush. It would be convenient if the power button was closer to the handle as it would help with quicker shutting off and therefore prevent possible damage to the machine. It would be even better if it had an option for cleaning up fringes of the area rugs (I understand that this machine is designed with carpets and not necessarily with rugs in mind). When I finished cleaning and turned the machine off, it spit out a lot of fiber pulled from the rug. To me, that means that it is damaging to the rug, as it is effectively thinning it. Still, even that's ok cause the rug will likely last longer than me. My biggest complaint on this machine though is complexity on cleaning it and difficulty to clean the nozzle in particular (from the piled fiber remaining in it – see pic). I ended up using a zip tie to pull the dirt out. The brush is also not all that easy to clean and I ended up just wiping it the best I can. If I haven't run into difficulties described above (especially with cleaning the nozzle), I would give it 5 stars. I am glad I have gotten this machine as it did what I expected it to do.
This is my third Bissell carpet cleaner over the last 15 years. Bissell has continued to do great job with the cleaning performance. I continue to be pleased seeing the imbedded hair and dirt being pulled from my carpet as I clean, and I have a very good vacuum. The ability to clean the machine after use has evolved tremendously because if you don't clean your machine properly, it won't clean as well for you later on. The cleaning tray is the best adaptation to this task yet, makes flushing your machine very easy to. I used to prop my machines up on the counter and spray them out over the sink to clean the brushes well enough. Plus, the cleaning tray is great to use to place your machine on while you change out your tanks…any dirty water residue no longer redeposits back onto your clean carpet. I used to always have a thick towel nearby to place the machine on. The tanks do require lots of flushing and refilling while you do a room, but to be fair, if the tanks were any larger the machine would be too heavy to deal with. Dry time was just only about 5-6 hours on the regular cleaning cycle. Running a fan in the room always helps with drying too. This machine pays for itself in just one use. I have three kids, two large dogs, and a cat so to be able to clean whenever the mood hits me is awesome.
I have owned my Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution pet Pro carpet cleaner for approximately four years. I have small children and a big dog, so I use it often. I've been very pleased with how well this machine cleans. I think the secret is how well it suctions back the dirty water from the carpet so it is important to go very slowly and make sure you've extracted all of the solution. The double cleaning brush rolls do an excellent job and I have used the upholstery tool with great success. Recently my machine stopped spraying water from the cleaning head. When I took my carpet cleaner to a local vacuum repair shop they told me that the parts to repair the unit could no longer be obtained in the US, but they recommended I call customer service and see if they could help me. I have to say the customer service representative that I spoke with was extremely helpful. I did not realize that the warranty on this machine is a full five years! He walked me through troubleshooting and then offered to replace my machine at no cost with a new unit, and promised delivery in a week. I did not have to beg or make demands, and I was on the phone less than 5 minutes! The bottom line, Bissell's customer service may be even better than its carpet cleaners!teresa

Reviews:
I have twin boy toddlers and let me just say there is no possible way I can go without a carpet cleaner. Since my boys were born I went from cleaning my carpet a few times a year to a few times a week. I’ve literally had just about every carpet cleaner on the market. I know what I want in a carpet cleaner and either they didn’t meet my expectations or they couldn’t handle the abuse.
My Hoover smartwash pet is by far the best I’ve had. The suction this cleaner has is unbelievable. I’ve read some reviews about it losing suction before I bought it and the only thing I can think of is maybe they’re not putting the lid of the dirty tank on correctly. They’ve made it easy to clean the brushes. My carpet dries very quickly and the dirt that comes out of it is amazing!
It cleans better than the others I’ve had, but I still carry my little hand held scrubber brush to get the ground up stuck to the carpet messes my toddlers are notorious of leaving behind. However I cont think there’s a carpet cleaner out there that can handle that. What this does have is the neat pre treating wand that I can use on the mess before I scrub it, which is awesome! I’ve owned it for a few months now and I can honestly say I’m so happy I found this carpet cleaner. It’s well worth the money! I love it!Jamie Adkins

So far I've used this on two carpets. Our garage (very tight low profile and thin) carpet and our bedroom ( on a very dens plush pile carpet with 1/2" pile). Both carpets were extremely dirty (hadn't been cleaned in years). Both carpets came out looking almost brand new. I'm beside the fact that I didn't get pictures, but trust me, this thing works great! Oh, and even if you already had the Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe, you've got to upgrade! The Power Scrub Deluxe works great, but wait till you get your hands on this baby! There are some things that I don't like about this new cleaner and I will list them here, but this is just so hopefully someone in engineering is listening and can make changes to the next unit: – Carry handle: So unbalanced! Why did you move it from the front of the unit!? If I pick up the unit just from the carry handle, it tips over. Especially with water tank full. – If going really slow forward, sometimes the unit things I've stopped and goes into the dry mode and stops spraying solution. I was going pretty darn slow though so not sure if this can be fixed without a manual override. – Water splashes out of the side (mostly on the left side) past the reach of the vacuum. Enough to leave a long streak the length I've pushed forward. Since it's mostly on the left, I've decided to work my way from left to right to be sure and vacuum up that excess water. Maybe a shield is needed to prevent this. -As with my last unit. getting right against walls on wall to wall carpets is impossible. Luckily those are less traveled areas, but unfortunately since this thing cleans so well, there is a noticeable difference between what is scrubbed and what is not. But WOW! this thing cleans well! I don't think even the professional cleanings we've had in years past did this well of a job! Thank you Hoover!Captn Jim
My last Hoover carpet cleaner lasted 10 years. So we wanted to buy another Hoover product. The machine we bought is very easy to use. Does a great job cleaning and is very easy to clean the machine when finished. All covers and tanks can be removed without the use of any tools, brilliant. Including the rotating brushes. My only concerned about this machine is the plastics are all very light weight. So durability is a concern. I'll have to be very careful when using this machine so as not to damage it. Other than that I'm very happy with its performance. A very well designed carpet cleaner. Will

Reviews:
This ScatMat has been awesome in preventing my stubborn Australian Shepherd from getting into my cat’s food area at night when we’re asleep.I’ve been having issues trying to stop my sweet but stubborn dog from always wanting to get into my cats food space even though it’s up on top of a counter. I’ve tried other measures but she always seems to find a way around them until I placed this ScatMat on the floor in front of the entryway to the cats food area at night. I leave enough room for the cats to be able to get to their food plus they have small steps they can use for easy access. It only took about 3-4 days for my dog to realize that the slight sensation isn’t worth it . She only does this at night so it’s put away during the day. It has saved me from the frustration of finding the empty cats food bowls knocked off the counter in the morning. It doesn’t hurt her at all but she definitely doesn’t like the sensation. Super happy fur baby mama here!Trish75
PetSafe ScatMat Electronic Dog & Cat Training Mat keeps your dog/cat off your kitchen counter, sofa or anywhere else you want to keep pets away from. The pet steps on the mat and they will feel a safe startling correction. you use a 9 volt battery and it is operated by a controller that has a LCD display showing the battery level, correction level and a counter so you can see how many times your pet steps on the mat. It has seven correction modes to meet your pet’s need with tone only, three levels of static or three levels of static plus tone. The mat also has a safety timeout, so if keeps their paws on the mat for more than eight seconds, it stops. i tried the tone for my cats and they worked. I would not use the highest static on a cat that just seems a little to strong but for a big dog that would probably work good. I used it on the kitchen counter for a few days and then used it on the stove at night now I dont have them up there and I took it off and they are still not going up there so it works great. I always get worried at night they are going to turn the stove on or something. PetSafe always has quality products and I recommend it for keeping your fur babies off of things that can hurt them or places they really should not be on.shanj
This pet scatmat is a must have. We recently got 2 cats and they were constantly scratching my couch, climbing my curtains and digging in my plants. So, I gave the Scatmat a try. It works great for multiple cats. And convenient to train 2 cats at once. Easy to use. Just lay on flat surface and plug in. Place in front of the area you want them to stay away from. It's touch sensitive. Has a safety timeout making it very safe to use. Has activity display. I have the large size. It covers an area 48×20. Runs on 1 9bolt battery. Not just for cats, can use to train dogs as well. Set the desired mode and turn on. It has 7 modes. When your pets step on it, they feel a safe, static correction. After a few times my cats understood that was not a zone they were allowed on. Works great!Angied

For a long time I was considering returning this vacuum. The only reason I haven't is because it works well enough and I don't have the time to go vacuum hunting. It's an okay vacuum but it is literally just okay. The suction is good but after a little while the vacuum becomes hard to push. It does pick up a lot of dirt, dust and hair though. The hose suction is terrible and practically nonexistent. I used the hose to vacuum up a spider which, with my old vacuum, would have killed it. But this vacuum didn't kill it and it somehow escaped (I got it the next day with a shoe but really, it's that easy for them to escape??). Also the attachments will not stay on the vacuum AT ALL so I have to keep them in a bag. The cord is long, but too long. Even if you leave it wound, it often falls off the hooks while vacuuming and gets in the way.JustAGirlFromSomeplace
I do a lot of research before purchasing a product. This vacuum owns up to its described performance. It is a little heavy for everyday and frequent use, however, the performance is awesome and it does in fact truly pick up deep embedded dirt, fuzz and lots of dust. I was shocked at what was locked into my carpet. I keep a very clean home and vacuum frequently with a lightweight rechargeable due to being without my well-loved canister vac for several months. I knew I had to have a regular vacuum, but had no idea. I would highly recommend this product for weekly use or if you don't mind a heavier vacuum.happy

Reviews:
I have bought now bought four of these first-rate rechargeable hand-helds, two for myself and two others as gifts. Thes are hands-down the most powerful and versatile portable vacuums I've ever had, and I've had many over the years. The suction is excellent, the filter is washable (I now keep a few spares), and this is perfect for tiny spot-cleaning jobs (like shelf corners in the panty), thorough car and household upholstery "sweeps," cleaning equipment and keyboards — well, just plain everything. I can't recommend this item highly enough! Brilliantly conceived and engineered, Bissel!!
This is the absolute best handheld vacuum I have used. You really do get 15 minutes of cleaning time from the battery. The ease of emptying, and removing the filter is the best of all competitors. I have peace of mind, that Bissell will be able to provide filters and parts…since I can order them direct from the manufacturer. Unlike buying vacuums in big box stores, who never have the filters or parts in stock. The motorized head is what sets this handheld apart from all others. It cleans area rugs easily, since it does not suck the entire rug from the floor. The motorized head is easy to take apart for cleaning, and is well designed. I cannot say enough good things about this handheld vacuum and I highly recommend it.
The suction of this hand vacuum is FANTASTIC! The attachments work very well as well. My only complaint is that the run time is relatively short compared to the time needed to charge – I get anywhere from 15-30 minutes max on a full charge. I mostly use to vacuum furniture, stair carpet treads, and miscellaneous fur on the wood floors so not a big deal but if you need to do a lot more daily vacuuming with this you may be annoyed by the charge it holds. Review update dropping to 3 stars because the vacuum takes a long time to recharge and you’re lucky to get even 15 minutes. I still think the suction is fantastic.Allie

Reviews:
So after my other vacuum I had for a long time, even went with a family of 6 over seas when I was active duty military finally dies. We decided that we would try a Dyson, so we went with the Dyson Ball Animal 2. Honestly my kids (16-24yo) and wife usually do most of the vacuuming so they used it for the first few months and when the kids complained about the quality I thought they just didn’t want to vacuum. Finally I decided to try it for myself and I quickly agreed with their opinions. Here are some of the issues we as a family decided to put in this review. 1. For a vacuum that cost more then my first car it should have a light on it to help see in the darker areas of the house. 2. When you lock the handle to the upright position it is made with plastic and feels like it is going to break every time. 3. The extension hose has to be pulled out the full length so to do stairs or other angles are very difficult. 4. When trying to roll the vacuum on the back two wheels any little bump knocks it out of the lock position. In our opinion this unit was cheaply made and not worth the money. Will not invest in or recommend a Dyson. Wow, as I am completing this review the last question it asks me is “I received a product for free to help facilitate my review.” and the only option is “Yes.” We did not receive anything for free, we paid $499.99 plus tax for this vacuum out of our money.MSgt Robert V
I would give this vacuum less than 1 star if possible. I had my previous Dyson Vacuum for 10 years before it died on me. It was a great product. Based off than experience I decided the money was worth it to invest in another Dyson Vacuum so I purchased the Dyson Ball Animal 2 (1/25/2020). After owning it for just about 1 year month I was already having problems. I would turn the vacuum on and there would be a burning smell and a grinding noise. There is a black mechanism that divides the left and right rollers. On that mechanism there is black plastic pieces that protrude. The roller slides right on to these. The plastic appears to have melted causing the black plastic protruding piece to completely detach. This then makes it so that the roller no longer spins and the black protruding piece is broken and separated from the part that spins. After going through all of the troubleshooting Dyson sent me a new head to the vacuum (1/23/2021). At this point I had own the vacuum almost exactly a year. I thought, hey this kind of stuff happens, no big deal. Everything was fixed in a little less than 2 weeks and I was good. Then the same thing happened again on 10/23/2021. The black plastic protruding piece melted again which made the vacuum unusable. Frustratingly, Dyson had NO record of my previous issue even though I have email proof which allows me to provide the exact date of 1/23/2021. I was going through this again 9 months later. This time (due to shipping delays) it took 2 months for me to have my vacuum back and working again. Once again, I was given a new head to the vacuum. Now, 3/12/2022 I am going through the same issue again for a 3rd time. The black plastic protruding piece seams to have melted again! I am now having to mail the entire vacuum in and hopefully will get it back fixed within 14 days. I was beyond frustrated and the person on the phone said that all they could do is send it in to get repaired or give me 20% off another Dyson purchase. I have now owned this vacuum for a little over 2 years. Assuming I get the current issues fixed within 14 days the vacuum will have spent about 4 months of time being repair or waiting for replacement parts. In other words, inoperable. It is only my wife and I that used the vacuum. My children to not touch it. Also keep in mind that I take very good care of the vacuum. With all of the issues we have had with this vacuum I am very diligent in cleaning the hair and other stuff out of the rollers after every use. I vacuum the entire house every Saturday which is about 3000 sq/ft and mostly carpet. Can this vacuum not handle that kind of usage at a single time? It appears that it cannot although our older Dyson vacuum could do it just fine. I believe I spent somewhere between $600-$700 dollars on the vacuum. That is a vary big purchase price for something that keeps breaking down. I fear that I will continue to go through this because the Dyson Ball Animal 2 is poorly designed. I do not want to continue going through this until the warranty runs out and then be forced to get something new at my expense. I pay that much money for quality which means that I expect to use this vacuum for many years. I guess for now I will wait on my vacuum to return and fixed for a 3rd time and keep my figures crossed. Ideally I would be willing to get some of my money back from purchasing this vacuum and use it to buy a different model Dyson. Yes, I would be willing to give Dyson ONE more chance with a different model. Just offering me a 20% discount on a new vacuum is not going to cut it when in just 2 years I have had some many issues after spending hundreds of dollars on a vacuum that promises quality. This has been SUCH a headache. From reading reviews online, many other people have been having similar issues.Greco
I have been a lifelong user of Dyson vacuums from the very earliest days. I have always thought that they are the best. Sad to say that after 2 years of use I cannot say that about the Animal 2. Just for the record we also have the Dyson V6 Animal which my wife uses because of her Rheumatoid Arthritis. Once a week I will do the heavy duty, top to bottom house clean with the Animal 2. And I don't look forward to it at all. First of all the positives: 1. Fantastic suction 2. I use all of the heads that can be attached to the hose and are excellent for getting into the difficult spots. The negatives: 1. This is a heavy machine. Now I keep myself fit but you get a workout from this machine. Because it is heavy it is not the most manoeuvrable. Somebody like my wife who has RA can forget about using this for more than a minute or two. 2. When using it with the hose when the accessories are attached, the machine does not follow easily and more often than not tips over. It is shocking for doing that. I wouldn't even contemplate using it for the stairs. 3. The hose may be lighter than previous models but honestly does not feel as robust. But so far it has stood two years worth of use. 4. The power cable is sadly far inferior to previous models. It is of cheaper quality and easily gets entangled around the wheels of the vacuum when using the hose and even when using it without the hose. It may be a longer hose (I think) but it gets tangled so easily. All in all, this is one of the worst Dyson's we have had.Andy

purchased my new Shark Vacuum at Target on Black Friday, to replace my older Hoover Vacuum. I find that the vacuum was very easy to assemble within 10 minutes and was ready to go without having to worry about any of the bags. The Dual-Mode brush vacuum cleaned up a lot of Cat hair and dust my previous vacuum couldn't pick up. And emptying it out was a breeze. My one things about this vacuum is that it doesnt have a cord rewind, so I'm not amused with winding up my own cord. Its totally worth the buy.lewis.q
This was worst vacuum I ever owned. When I first got it I should have returned it :(. Brush didn’t work on stairs got replacement ( different brush) sane thing not enough power to vacuum. Have only one rug and 8 carpet stairs rest hardwood ( not picking up anything just the opposite) .Going back to dysonDoka

I highly recommend Bissell for both their customer service and superior product.GeoM
I bought this as we have carpeting in the second floor of our house. Our dog, who is a senior dog, sleeps upstairs but sometimes has accidents. I do use a pet odor/stain spray for the areas but after awhile, the area should be cleaned. Instead of renting a carpet cleaner for $40-$50, I decided to try this BISSELL since price was decent. It does work and it is a good deal based on the price but there are tradeoffs. Let's start with the negatives. Small tank which requires constant changing and refilling (a small room may require 2 refills, medium size probably 3-4 refills. The power button is in a bad stop (on the back of the handle towards the bottom). Clean up is a pain but you have to do that with any carpet washer machine. Those are all the major negatives. As long as you read the instructions and follow them, you will have no issues. Also make sure you clean it after you are done. Don't leave it dirty. Again read the instructions on cleanup. The BISSELL is small and lightweight. It does a good job cleaning the carpet. Of course, don't expect quality cleaning as it is smaller and less powerful than other carpet cleaners that cost 4x as much. I would recommend this if you have a small area or only clean your carpets twice a year. In reality, I don't think you should be using this weekly or biweekly as that wears out the carpeting. As for durability, I have owned this for over 6 months. No issues, no leaks. Again, follow the instructions, clean up after you are done and you will be fine.Michael
We had high hopes for this with a dutch shepherd who loves to dig and bring in the mud onto our carpeting. After a month with our new puppy, our carpet had become dull and so dirty even our vacuum wouldn't get it out. We looked at all the ratings/stars and decided that value for money – this was our best bet, and purchased a big bottle of shampoo to go with it, and once it arrived – we were prepared to roll up our sleeves and get working on what would be a big job, a little at a time. Sadly – after we got everything set up, checked the owners manual 4x because surely this was a human error that it wasn't working – and realizing it was not in fact, a dumb human problem, but rather a faulty water tank seal that didn't 'click' in place like it said it should – we couldn't do anything but send it back. We're still awaiting our refund. We rented a commercial shampooer instead, which ended up being cheaper – and won't try a 'for home' shampoo system ever again. Bissell used to be a well trusted name, now I don't know what to think anymore. It used to be a game of 'you get what you pay for' – now you get what you get, and often only get a credit for what you paid for – not even a refund. If you're willing to roll the dice on a shampooer that might work, and live close enough to be ready to return it, and can convince them not to just give you store credit – go for the gamble. For us? Our local equipment rental place was the savior of the day, and will be seeing a lot more of us.Kat

18. Bobsweep Pet Hair Robotic Vacuum Cleaner And Mop

Reviews:
Cannot transition from hardwood floor to area rugs. I have a silk area rug that is less than a quarter of an inch higher than the hardwood floor. b0bsweep simply can’t get onto the rugs. I never have this problem with my other robot vacuums. Please see my photos where my roomba (base model from five years ago) literally runs circles around b0b as he gets stuck. Ran him two times and he died where he got stuck both times after trying in futility to get up the rug. Best Buy doesn’t allow video uploads otherwise I I would post a video so you can see just how utterly bad it failed to perform basic tasks.GadgetGuy2022
When I saw this on sale in January, I thought "Wow! I'm game" After all, having a Roomba makes a teenager seem like a good option for vacuuming. It has to be better than that, right? I wish I could say it was so. I gave 'bob' every opportunity to prove itself. The first unsettling experience was the hookie "Hi, my name is Bob [lastname]" on the outside of the box. Why? Anyone who has owned a Roomba knows we all have our pet name for them. Don't tell my your name. I will decide your name. And Bob? The LAST name I would give my appliance is Bob. I was willing to let the sketchy marketing slide. Next, you open the box. and the bag surrounding the device is emblazoned with EULA notifications. By accepting opening the bag you agree. Immediately, I had to dig into why would they be so bold faced about this. I was pretty sure it was a non-WIFI device, so I double-checked I was not giving up permission to have them stalk me in my house. Rest assured, it is not. What it appears to be is protecting them from stealing their IP for the software running the vacuum. Believe me (as you will see later on), you do not want to steal it. I spent more time trying to babysit the thing than it actually takes me to vacuum by hand. There was not one time the vacuum actually completed a cleaning without some sort of error. The most common error occurred when not being able to navigate over the edge of my runner from hardwood floors. There is a setting to disable some functionality for dark rugs, so I did the same because my floors are dark. This didn't solve the issue of the edge of the runner, but did help it to navigate the floor better. The only problem is, if it runs out of charge, it loses the disabled setting. The runner passes my stairwell and regularly, it would get stuck in the corner spinning in circles trying to find its way down the runner and the giving up and going back into the corner. It wasn't just dark floors and runner edges that confounded 'Bob'. My living room rug (light colored picture) gave it no end to trouble. My shadow of the counter in the kitchen on a sunny day caused Bob to flee in fear. Then, Bob destroyed the threshold going back and forth into my bathroom one day. The screw that holds the cleaning brush sticks out and every time it tried to figure out the floor color change, it scratched the surface of the threshold. I decided I would switch floors with my Roomba. My upper floor in wall to wall neutral carpet. Perhaps this would be the perfect environment for Bob. No go. Bob ended up under my bed. Banging into the center post. It was unable to backup enough to turn and just kept reversing about 1" and banging back into the center post. I squirreled myself under the queen size bed and moved it to the side so it could escape. It turned, banged into the center post and then, again, was unable to escape. When I say I gave it the college try, I can tell you I had 2 days left on the return policy when I finally packed it up and brought it back to the store. How does it vacuum you ask? Well, that would be the one point where the Bob outperformed the Roomba and and my Bissell. During the period before it lost its mind under the bed, it collected a significant amount of dust from the same space the Roomba runs on a daily basis. But, all in all, I would rather search for my Roomba on a frequent basis than deal with the headache (and damage) caused by the Bobcgapperi
I live in a high dust area with two cats and a dog. The volume of dirt that accumulates in my house on a daily basis is awesome, and the vacuuming is unending. A robot vacuum becomes the stuff of fantasy, unburying me from the endless dirt and vacuuming. After researching many different models and types, I thought that Bobsweep would be a good entry level robovac for my situation. To be honest, my hopes weren’t high. I had put off reaching for this dream for years due to the sure knowledge that electronics rarely hold up for long in the high dust and static electricity of my windy desert home. But the price was good, and the high capacity dustbin sounded like this one was right up my alley. It was utterly amazing. Bob filled up his dustbin to capacity with every usage, and I was able to transport massive amounts of dirt and hair out of my house every time I used him. It wasn’t all good. The door on the dustbin shattered within the first two months, but I soon found that he was able to run without it, just releasing a small amount of dust when I removed the dustbin. He did require a thorough cleaning with every usage. The sensors would coat up with dust, and hair would accumulate in the wheels. This took about 15 minutes, and then he would vacuum for an hour-and-a-half. And he got rid of all the dust bunnies under my beds! I loved Bob. When one drive wheel quit working after about six months, I was less surprised and disappointed than I was simply sad. As stated before, I did not have high expectations for his survival when I bought him. But it was well within the warranty period, so I contacted the company to see what options I had. To my surprise, customer support was amazing! They quickly sent out not only a replacement drive wheel, but also it’s mate so that we could switch them both out at the same time. There was a video on YouTube to guide us through the process, and, while we had a little trouble plugging the electronics back into their proper slots, Bob was soon back together and working again. Like new! To sum up, I would have to say that Bob has exceeded my expectations so far. And for the price he is simply unbeatable.ME
