It was also easy to assemble if you have basic build knowledge/ screw driver experience but there are a couple poor design qualities: 1) The designers supplied two latches to be installed INSIDE the crate living space for one door to be able to latch closed to the frame. Yes, this is essential but my dogs like to dig and fluff and get comfy and my pit has very easily scratched skin. There is no doubt my dogs would eventually get scratched on the cheap metal latches supplied. That paired with the fact that I don’t have time to reach into the crate while my dog is attempting to exit out of one side of the door. They’re too big and will need both doors open to exit. I will be altering this design to latch on the outside. 2) The actual door latch. Being placed in the middle of two hinged doors makes a weak attachment and the latch to secure your dog in the crate should attach to the crate frame to be secure. This ties into the above issue but again, I will be altering to make it more secure. If you have little dogs that can’t put much weight against the door, you’re fine. But with medium sized dogs, I’d rather not risk getting the particle board split on accident if my dog leans her fat butt against the door. 3) Its particle board. The first thing I like is that the side are higher so that my dogs are not leaning up against the sides of the crate – they are cushioned. My foster pit bull, Blue, is obsessed with his new bed. It arrived yesterday around 5pm and four hours later he was still curled up in it sound asleep. Normally, when I sit down on the couch at the end of the workday, Blue comes catapulting across the room to snuggle with me. Not now! I'm honestly kind of shocked! So I guess my advice is: don't buy this product if you like snuggling with your dog. I ordered a size larger than I thought I needed, just to be safe. Some reviewers said that the "pockets" for other products were too tight, which made me nervous. I can't compare this to other Snoozer beds, but the "pocket" on the rectangle bed is really ample. If I were ordering again, I would go down a size to the medium. Blue is about 45 lbs and 18" tall at his shoulder, and he has enough room to fully stand up inside the large bed's pocket if he wants to. The product is described as being just 8" tall in the large size, but I measured the opening from the top of the bed to the center of the hoop that holds the pocket open at 14-16". Blue loves this bed so much that I'm going to have to buy a second one — one for my bedroom and one for downstairs.Alyssa H
Our dogs love this bed! We got the XL because we have 2 GSPs, one of who is still a puppy. She loves to snuggle in the cave while her brother prefers to sleep on top. Either way there is plenty of room for two! The cover is very washable. The puppy has had almost daily accidents on the cover (sometimes more than once a day) and the cover has gone through the wash quite a few times over the last two weeks. It is holding up nicely. It does take a large capacity washer to wash the XL cover.A
I now have 4 of these beds, 4 round ones and 2 spare round covers. My dogs love them but the fabric quality of my recent purchase isn’t as good As my previous purchases. I am also still awaiting a replacement for the faulty topper that came with one of the round beds… so not so sure about customer service. IShirley B

I ordered two beds for my dogs. The product came with some assembly needed however the small screws and bolts were too long for the tubing making the support beams unsteady. I added an extra bolt to make the support more stable. however, in under 30 days of purchase the bolts and screws are off of one bed and the material has been ripped.RDavis80470

This could be fine for a small quiet dog, returning item for poor workmanship and design flaws. The door hardware would not with stand a strong determined dog. The door stop would not work correctly because of interference from the wire screen put in by the manufacturer. That was the first thing to put on and we decided to go no further.
