I bought this first time for Pnut (Peanut). It made him nutty and neurotic. It did something horrendous to him. He did great with "calming" chews that have suntheanine (an amino acid) I saved it away in a drawer… this stuff lasts for years because it is a tincture with glycerine. Pnut died. As I previously stated I bought two of these harnesses in two different sizes. A small and a medium as I was not sure which would work. The small is a great fit for my 13 lb Shih Tzu. But this is summer and she is shaved down. I am going to use the medium size for winter to go over her sweaters and coats. Adopted a black mouth cur from the shelter. Escape artist, separation anxiety to the maximum. I purchased the ThunderShirt for my dog's anxiety over fireworks. I tried to get my dog accustomed to it before putting it on her as the instructions stated but she ran away every time even when it was paired with treats and I was just holding it up. Despite this, I put the ThunderShirt on her the night of the 4th of July fireworks. I also added the calming spray to the area on the shirt as indicated. She was very anxious the whole night. However, the next night I put the shirt on her again and she calmed down quickly despite neighbors setting off fireworks. This was repeated the next night as well. I recently adopted 2 retired greyhounds and noticed my female would hide and pant before and during rainstorms. I bought these just a few weeks before July 4th since the firecrackers were already starting to explode in our neighborhood and my male grey refused to walk after hearing pops and getting spooked. I searched the internet for a gate that would suit my needs. My need was for a cat not a dog. Only this Richell Freestanding Mesh Gate seemed like it might work. I saw it first on Petco and found it cheaper on PetFlow. I was prepared to chalk it up as a loss if it did not work out. But it ended up being the perfect solution. This gate us not only heavy duty it is very beautiful. The wire mesh panels are sturdy and well made. There are 4 panels, one is a double panel because one side functions as the gate door. The gate door is plenty wide for easy entry. I read where someone was displeased with adjustment of the closing function. I am a grandmother, 5'4", this is heavy yes, but it was really the most simple and easy to put together item I have ever managed and I did not need any assistance at all. The direction sheet diagram is direct and easy to follow. Everything just fits perfectly in place. The only adjustment needed is the gate latch and it gives the width of the gap measurement allowance between the gate panel and lock panel. This gap is determined by the person assembling it. (I did have to convert the decimal of inches to millimeters regarding this gap). There is no predrill hole for the tiny screw that secures the adjusted gate and it screws it effortlessly. For me there was absolutely no problem getting the gate to open and close properly. It took less than a minute to adjust it so it closes automatically. The little latch engages effortlessly, and a tiny lifting motion opens the gate door. It has the added bonus of staying open if you open it past a certain point. This is an important feature for my needs. And the door opens both directions. Fabulous. If you need a wide opening blocked, and you want a huge gate that is not permanently attached, and you don't have aggressive strong dogs, this might be just what you need and I highly recommend it. A large dog could potentially push this gate away from the wall from the back position (pushing it from the front position would just push it up against the wall.)Doanie
My pet gate arrived damaged. While carefully removing packaging to preserve for a future move, several pieces fell out. It seems this item was damaged prior to shipping. Though the shipping box was beat up the gate box was intact. The plastic gate latch is shattered in about 30 small pieces, the wood is stripped and a screw, a spring and a white plastic piece fell out. The plastic pieces that attach each part of the gate are thin and pretty flimsy. Other than that this gate is beautiful a seems to be pretty sturdy. These work great if you need a little room to play with the size because the top closes with velcro and then a clasp. If you're dog pulls these feel really solid. Overall they are well put together and the colors are eye catching. When I take both girls to the dog park in their matching harnesses I always get asked about where I got them and what colors do they have!!

I bought the P.H. travel set to see if this would help my highly allergic, health challenged Scottish Terrier. Even when I cover them he trys to get the bandage off to get at them. It says this provides some pain relief, so I'm hoping that will discourage the licking. These are very high quality durable and useful gates. There are tiny rubber pads under so you know which side to grab after putting away and the ease of the hinges are excellent. They are heavy enough to let the pet know it's stable and it's not a easy move with a nose plus the size and amount of panels make the setting of your area customized to the fit. I actually will buy more so I can use them out on the patio. Our dog understands boundaries and seems satisfied to see us until the entry is opened. I bought one brown which is a nice dark walnut color brown and a white one which both have a nice what I would describe as an enameled type gloss finish for protective wear. You won't be disappointed however if you're looking for a stoppage barrier this is simply a sturdy boundary maker so you would need a secured gate or kennel for that.JJ

My Pomeranian suffers from BSD and has lost a lot of his fur. I have tried treatments from the vets but with no avail. Absolutely useless product. I am aware this is only useful for 24 hours. My dog enjoyed eating it as a treat but other than that it's useless! It did absolutely nothing in 24 hours if anything it seemed like it made it worse! All it seemed to do was irritate the fleas and make them bite more! My poor boy. The fleas love him. I can give him a flea bath every day and he's still infested. After trying daily baths, over the counter remides treating my yard and topical treatments, nothing worked so I decided to try a oral treatment. I swear by this. I wanted this to work so bad because my dog is highly allergic to fleas and shreds himself up even when he has the topical flea prevention. Even if a dog around him has fleas he breaks out (our neighbor dog has fleas so my poor pup get around them). I saw this and wanted to try to give him some relief to my itchy pooch. The first day, I saw 3 fleas on my dog and purposefully left them on there to see if it worked. I came back in an hour and they were still there. I figured since it says up to 4 hrs I would wait. Later in the day I checked him, fleas still there. So I thought may it took some time for his body to get accustomed to it. The next day same story, he went outside in the morning I checked him saw he has some fleas, gave him a pill checked him about an hour and a half later, fleas are still having a party. Let it set for the rest of the afternoon and checked him before dinner, still the fleas are alive and kicking. 3rd day same story. At this point I can see it isn’t working and I wasted the $25 it costs for it. At least I didn’t spend the $50 for the month. Look at the reviews and notice several of us back to back have rated it the same so obviously something is wrong here. Avoid and save your money and spend it on the more expensive one!Kate

This is great- love how it could be a ramp or stairs. It could be a little higher with the ramp side, however the stairs work good for now with my little dog. I think the ramp is great if they have hip issues just like I said could be a little higher like the stairs are. The only thing I any not impressed with is that it only comes with one set of the sticky nonslip pads and they aren’t al that great at sticking to the bottom of the sides if you move it because of picking it up to clean the area underneath it- they call off. I wish this product would’ve came with either extra sets of those sticky nonslip stickers, or were already glued on to them legs and sides that would slide on the floor- better yet if they legs and sides were built with a nonslip think on them. These steps are not worth the price of free. They are incredibly cheaply made of thick cardboard, not even wood. The corner was broken off out of box, the legs do not clip on, it chips easily so when you pick it up they fall out. The "group" pads fall apart when you peel them off the adhesive, and so not stay in place. I will be returning it and would never buy it again.BB&B Customer
We bought these stairs to help our senior dogs. Our oldest is 13 pounds and 13 years old . Our youngest is 85 pounds and 7 years old. Our bed is high and the smallest dog wanted on and off the bed constantly. He is now able to get on and off by himself. The bigger dog use to leap onto the bed no problem. She is showing signs of struggle so we invested in these stairs! The stairs do flip to the other side as a ramp. But, I do not like the ramp as it is too steep! Both of the dogs refuse to use it! Adopted a black mouth cur from the shelter. Escape artist, separation anxiety to the maximum. First time I put the shirt on her, I left her in the car while I ran into the store (no, it wasn't hot out! and I wasn't long. but I'd be wondering the same, reading the above!) I recently adopted 2 retired greyhounds and noticed my female would hide and pant before and during rainstorms. I bought these just a few weeks before July 4th since the firecrackers were already starting to explode in our neighborhood and my male grey refused to walk after hearing pops and getting spooked. My "little" guy has a life long issue with loud noises that began about eight years ago when he was eleven weeks old and we ventured out in between thunder showers with his mom and dad. Suddenly a stray lightning bolt hit missed us by only a few yards and the accompanying explosive noise terrified my three dogs and myself. The dogs went howling into the house and you can imagine the impact that experience had on a very young pup. I did everything I could think of to acclimate Yulee to sudden loud noises but nothing seemed to work as well as the ThunderShirt we purchased on the Amazon site. He's not as frightened of approaching thunder boomers as he is by gun fire or fireworks probably because he can gradually get into a more relaxed state with advancing storms. Now we also have time to prepare him for the thunder claps and we're relieved that he apparently finds the ThunderShirt comforting. He also likes to have time to curl up in secluded spot where he probably doesn't feel as exposed to any inherent danger – (see the third image). You can tell he's starting to feel threatened in the middle shot where his tail is tucked under his rear and the noise from today's thunderstorms is getting increasingly louder. The only reason the ThunderShirt didn't earn 5 stars from me is that at a svelte145 pounds Yulee was squeezed too much for our liking by the largest size (XXL) offered. We wrapped him in it without over tightening the material to make it uncomfortable while still affording him the gentle pressure and protective aspect of security. The fabric of the ThunderShirt Sport is a lightweight polyester which I felt might be lighter and more breathable than the other models with a poly, spandex and rayon blend. With all the fur this guy has he doesn't need any additional warmth.
