Seems like good construction. I liked the pads on top to prevent pinching, but overall, it is still the same standard harness you can get everywhere. Unfortunately, I am still on the hunt for a good harness to use for running with my dog. The harness rubbed under his armpits and rubbed them raw. The look of the harness is great however the material cannot stand up to chewing which is not covered under warranty. I bought one yesterday and this morning I left to get breakfast and when I got back 20 minutes later he had chewed through one of the straps and had taken a chuck out of the nylon canvas chest piece. Rugged ,tough , durable harness . Works like it should . It takes a little time to get a proper adjustment , unless your dog is growing it's a one time thing . We like it better than other harnesses we have . I find it laughable that people would give a poor review because their dog chewed on it . That's on the owner and their poor dog . It's not the harness' fault .steve

My dog would sometimes slip off her regular collar when I walked her. Comfy Collar put a stop to that. I looked at other products at the store and they seemed to be too cumbersome (with too many straps and buckles that seemed even unnecessary) and probably even uncomfortable on a dog. This is the second Comfy Collar I have bought because she did bite through one of the straps of the first one when she got to excited because I did not take her on her walk soon enough after putting the Comfy Collar on. That was probably my fault, but it would be nice if they reinforce those straps. Make sure you are buying the right size for your dog (I had ordered the small one at first and it look plain uncomfortable; she is definitely a medium). We bought this harness for our Yorkie. It was the least expensive harness that we could find, so we figured we would try it. This harness is awesome. It is super light weight, easy to put on and doesn't make my dog uncomfortable. With the adjustable velcro and the adjustable straps, it ensures that it is the correct fit every time. I've been using this product for a year now for my 11 lb. chiweenie who is good at pulling and jumping after stuff during walks so she gives it a workout. The material has held up to her abuse. Very easy to put on compared to strap halters. I've bought an extra for a spare in case anything ever does happen to the original one because we really like it. The only thing we didn't like was the leash….5' is just too short for us. I just had to make sure that my leash had a big enough snap to hook on both rings.suzitex

I was so excited to receive the harness – it seemed like a huge upgrade from the old one I bought from Tractor Supply that my dog was using. Well. It took twice as long as expected to arrive which is ridiculous when I paid for shipping. The shipping fees were refunded, but I had purchased the item with the intent to use it by a specific date which didn’t happen since it didn’t arrive until MUCH later. When it finally did show up the package was ripped almost completely open and the packaging of the product was all messed up which is also ridiculous. Alright it’s here, looks like **** but it’s here. It’s a much brighter blue than I expected which I like. It took a little while to figure out how to adjust as the ends were so firmly tucked into the harness I thought I was going to break it. Finally got it on and adjusted and “Meh”. It’s not deep enough (front to back) in my opinion, and my dog is not an odd or unusual shape. I do like that it covers less surface area, she appears to stay cooler (but a double coated black dog in the humid Midwest is always hot). It does sag when wet (which is almost always as she swims regularly) BUT it dries and goes back to the original fit which is a pro I guess. I say I guess because I didn’t expect a harness I paid over $80 to sag at all when wet but ‍♀ It doesn’t show any wear yet which it shouldn’t for only having it 2 weeks. It does shift like crazy. Not as bad as the cheap tractor supply one, but again I expected ZERO shifting from the $80+ harness. Honestly I probably won’t buy again. I was super excited to find a harness with everything I wanted: reflectors (which the ones on this harness ****, seriously for $80 y’all couldn’t put reflective piping on all edges?!), a handle on the back, bright blue, goes over the head/ NOT a step through and had a back leash clip. But honestly I’m pretty disappointed. There is a lot of room for improvement in what I consider an expensive harness (more reflective piping, padding under the middle set of buckles, better fit, better choice of shipping carriers). I’m not going to get rid of it and it does fit better than the Tractor Supply but I don’t absolutely love it like I hoped.Seva P.

I was looking for a inescapable harness with a nopull front attachment for my dog. Roxy is a 50 lb husky and she does lots of hiking, biking, and skiing, so I needed something that could hold up for heavy use, but that will also allow my mother to walk her around without worrying about getting pulled over or having a loose dog (Roxy tends to be a little less respectful with leash manners with my mother). Pros: Front attachment-it does the job well and is more sturdy than I had anticipated. It's not just a thin fabric loop; it's actually hard and appears to be well attached. It also doesn't pull the chest plate down or over the shoulder when it's engaged, which is nice. Body coverage- I like that there is less bulk and fabric over the back. Roxy overheats easily, so the lighter profile (compared to the Web Master) keeps her cooler. Handle- doesn't seem like it is flimsy and the chest piece provides nice support under the dogs body. Escapability- It doesn't budge. Granted, Roxy is a pretty good girl, but I had her brace and tried to pull it off from the front and it stayed in place well. Caveat, see fit. Overall comfort and look- once she'd adapted to the rear strap around her ribs, she didn't seem to notice it was there. I like the color as well. Cons: Fit- Roxy's girth is 27.8 inches, so I got the medium, which should have given her a lot of wiggle room. The girth straps have to be taken all the way out to fit her. However, the neck straps have to be taken almost all the way in to keep the harness at her chest and prevent a gap up front that she could get her foot through. It does fit if I do this, but I could see this being a real issue for differently shaped dogs or a dog with similar shoulders, but a larger barrel. I'm not sure if it will fit her when she gets her winter coat. Overall, I think it's a good harness if it fits your dogs body. We'll see how it holds up with use!Brianna B.

She can't back out of the Flagline harness (yay!) and – more importantly – if needed, I can pull on the leash / harness without fear of hurting her. (There have been a couple times when we've encountered dogs who are too friendly — having the Flagline harness on my girl made it much easier to pull her back to a safe distance without fear of hurting her or having the harness pop off at a bad time.) The harness is easy to put on / take off. It's strong. The reflective trim helps make her more visible. The adjustable straps make it easy to size up during the winter time when she's got winter coat(s) to accommodate. Having clips for closure is so much nicer than harnesses with velcro closures. (Velcro closure doesn't last long – and trying to wash anything with velcro – oy veh!) The price was a little more than I thought I'd spend for a harness – but having a harness I can trust and that will last is worth every penny. 100% recommend!Karen G.

The harness is super adjustable and fits my pups barrel chest so well! We wanted the waist clip as the single rib clip always slipped off or got loose and it wasn’t enough security for us. We also really love the handles! The front loop works super well to mitigate some pulling (pups only 8 months old) and my favorite feature is the inner material that rests on his body, it’s not mesh or fabric that his short coat sticks into so his hair isn’t being rubbed off or sticking in the harness getting stuck in cracks and making it itchy or difficult to clean. This harness is also super easy to wash and I really love the hardy materials on this harness. Wish it came in orange but the grey works just as well on our pup! This harness just fits Róka so well and I’m so pleased with it!!!! It fits and contours to his whole body and moves with him when he’s moving around! There’s no denying it. My little Joey (four pounds of adorable Maltese) ❤S his dinky American River Step In Harness and it shows when we walk. I have 4 of these harnesses from a few years ago and loved them. I decided to order 2 more… Unfortunately the new ones all gape at the neck terribly! Even pulling it back more so it’s flat on the neck first doesn’t work as it won’t close the Velcro and then the arm holes rub under the armpits. I realized they changed the arm holes slightly (by overlaying it onto my old ones) and it’s thrown off the whole pattern. They are now useless. So Disappointing since all else is perfect- quality, price, patterns. Try the “Wrap & Snap” instead, it fits great and is nice for summer as there’s no extra fabric on the back.Dog Mom

I've tried numerous harnesses and never loved any until this one. I have a miniature rat terrier who is 13.5 lbs. He tends to be too big for mediums and way too small for large sizes. Finally, this harness fits perfectly in Medium! There's even a little room to spare in case he gets larger. We wanted to take off pressure from his neck and the v neck design and light weight, soft mesh is great! It's by far the softest one I've ever felt, and I've tried every one at multiple stores. It's so comfortable that it could be left on all the time even in summer since it's so breathable. My dog lives it too! He seems to feel safe and calmer in it like a thunder shirt makes him feel. The first time I took him on a walk he seemed to feel "free". He was so happy to pounce around without worrying about a jerk in his neck. We give this one 5 stars!!!! I got this in black, size medium from Amazon. She has a 12" neck and a 19" chest. This harness is adjustable around both neck and chest. My pup has a high chase drive and will sometimes pull suddenly. I like that the x-shape doesn't put as much pressure on her throat when she pulls, and the double d-rings and buckle closure feel very secure for her leash. My dog learned to step into the harness on her own if we hold it up for her, too. Very good quality materials that will last a long time.lianna.b

at the suggestion of my neighbor I bought this harness.Online store availability says it was available at the store. Went to this store they did not have the medium size (strike 1). I got small because the last harness I got at Petco last week in a medium was WAY TOOOO big. (which I am unable to return $35 gone). (strike 2 ) Even tho this one is advertised online for $14.99 at the store it was $21.99 and the team member did not know anything about it being lower online. (strike 3) same SKU number on receipt as listed in the online description. This Voyager dog harness is great for my pup! I am training him to walk on a leash and this is so helpful so that I don’t pull on his neck. I got the size XXS for him as he was 4 lbs. He is now almost 8 lbs and it still fits him but I am going to buy another one in a bigger size so I can keep it until he is fully grown. They are adjustable so I will probably get size Small. I abdolutely feel in love with this harness (by far the easiest to get onto my puppy). I love is so much that I jought 6 of them in the past 4 months. Why did I need to buy so many one may ask…becauae that is how many the puppy chewed through in that period of time. I ended up switching brands after the 6th one. The ease of the new one does not compare but the duribilty was just not there for us on this particular harness. If you dont have a chewer it is highly recommendedMooncat84

My Dodo and I love this harness! He seems to be comfortable all day long no matter what we do? Only downside is we live in Las Vegas so on the very hot days I prefer him in a more breathable type of harness. Other than that I definitely recommend this harness. i bought an xl for my oldest pit bull. it was too small but xl being the largest size i had no other option than to modify it. but the reason why i wouldn't recommend it is because there is little padding and i have to readjust every couple of steps or it winds up on his side hindering his movements.crystal

We love this vest harness! The material is nice and soft and it's so easy to put on, no fussing with extra straps and what not. My puppy was measuring between and small and medium (small in the neck and medium in the girth). Medium ended up being the perfect size for him.AJays Mum

This is a great harness and very easy to use, comfy and secure. However, the X Large is now too small for my 2 year old mini groodle who is approx. 13 kgs. I wish they made a bigger size as he still needs to wear a harness.Verity

I bought the small harness for my excitable 2 year old cockapoo. The product was very easy to put on him, and it appeared to make him feel more secure during the car journey. The only problem I have encountered is with regards to the removing of the harness over his head due to the neck size. A logistical approach is required by ensuring his ears are through before pulling the harness over his head. Otherwise, it is a good fit, and keeps him safe.Mitch

This is a really cute toy, and our 12-week-old puppy loved it! The problem is, however, that she was able to detach little hunks of the loofah material from the center of the starfish within just a few sessions. The label warns of this, so we watched and threw away the chunks . . . and ultimately the whole toy before she could swallow anything. Maybe a much younger puppy would do better? But swallowing pieces would be even more dangerous for a very young puppy! Too bad this happens! A great idea that needs to be a bit more sturdy.Ronni S

We have a labrador that's around 60lbs. LIfting him is difficult and he's skidish about being picked up on top of it. The harness is great for helping him up in the car. It seems very comfortable as he happily wore it around the house acting like he didn't even have it on. I'm actually looking forward to using it for the next trip to the vet because the handles seem like they would be great for holding him on the table as well. With him being a male dog I did appreciate that it had a built in shield for comfort to protect him while lifting. The harness was super easy to put on and fairly easy to adjust to the correct size as well. I'd highly recommend this for anyone with a dog that needs assistance being lifted or to even have this harness on hand just incase you need it.BusyMom

My border collie is 10 years old and suffers from hip issues; primarily when going up steps. In the past I've tried to help him by lifting his rear but he feels fearful when I do this. Now that I'm using the support harness, he loves my help! There's something about the harness that helps my dog to feel safely supported. When I first opened the box and pulled the harness out, it looked like a mess but the paper included detailed instructions for putting it on. I highly recommend this harness!Atina

I highly recommend this harness. I have an older 52 pound Belgian Shepard w/arthritis in her rear knee and spine. This harness is easy to put on, in my opinion, and she doesn't seem to mind the straps around her rear legs at all. I only use this for walks and when her rear legs have difficulty and she falls back I can easily grab the rear handle and hold her up, pull her up etc. This is extremely helpful going up stairs too. I ordered the small initially by measurements , though this was too small so returned and swiftly received the medium, this is a much better fit, though the neck is on the smallest the girth is much better-stocky dog! Worth paying for a harness that doesn’t rub and fits correctly.Anonymous

I have been living with, training and competing with my dogs in dog sports for over 20 years. I have had bigger dogs and small/toy dogs. I have tried MANY types of harnesses and in the end I always return to this one. I was truly sad that they have stopped making this in many colors and only make it in black and red. If some other company makes it in other colors the next time I need one I may have to go somewhere else for color. What I love about this harness is (1) none of my dogs has ever escaped it, (2) it does not limit movement or cause any of the physical issues that can occur over time by restricted movement, (3) once adjusted it stays exactly as I have set it, (4) machine washable, (5) does not stretch out. If you are considering the Pet Safe sport harness, skip it. Both I and a friend purchased it… she got one for a large dog and mine was for a small dog. In both cases that harness did not retain its shape very long and the dogs could slip out of them. Waste of money.Versadogs
