Wonderful dog toy! Our Great Dane puppy loves it! He already had a 3.5-inch Tonka chew toy – which he gnaws on happily for hours – but this 8-inch Tirebiter version is heavy enough to put up a fight. He enjoys carrying it around as much as he does chewing on it. It's advertised as non-toxic (as is the Tonka tire), so we're not worried about bad things happening when he manages to bite off bits of it. We've bought this kind of toy for many of our dogs over the years, and the ones who like them love them as much as they do tennis balls. We paid less than $20 for this one (which is a good price these days, since demand has risen so much during the pandemic), and I expect it to last at least a year or so, despite our boy working on it every day. If your giant-breed dog is an active chewer, this is a great toy for it. (I don't recommend it for smaller breeds, because it's so heavy – but a 3.5-inch one is great fun for all but miniature pups.)
