This collar is so adorable, and well made. The buckle it easy to use and very strong, the d-ring is big enough to fit the ID tag, registration tag and the rabies vac tag. The collar is adjustable – which is a big plus for me, as my dog is still a puppy. We took our pup on vacation and put his new collar on and got so many compliments!
We have 2 holiday collars (the matching holiday tags are darned cute) and one every day collar. All excellent quality webbing with no scratchy nylon threads sticking out to shred human hands for those under-the-collar neck scratches our dog enjoys. Collars wash up good as new (lingerie bags in washing machine, lay flat to dry). Excellent price point for the quality. My only "complaint" is my fault for not looking closely at the pictures of the 1/2" collars. The patterns are stretched and distorted. If I were to reorder I would choose a wider holiday collar. The 1/2" Spooky jack-o-lanterns and owls are long and skinny, the snowflakes on Christmas Cheer are oddly shaped and only about 3/4 of the snowflake pattern is on the collar. The other 10 months of the year or dog is sporting a 1/2" Alpen Glow. This pattern too is distorted but it's not as apparent as the holiday pattern stretches.

I bought this collar a couple weeks ago, and I am so glad I did! My dog, Bella, constantly pulled against her flat collar on walks and when she’d see another dog or person, she would lunge. The constant pulling made me concerned for the damage she was doing to her trachea. This pulling behavior also caused me to stumble along awkwardly behind her, while trying not to fall. I felt like I wasn’t in control, but with this collar, I am! I noticed an immediate difference with her behavior on the first walk. I introduced the collar to her gently before our walk so she would feel the pinch and know not to lunge forward. We have been using it on all our walks for the last couple weeks and she no longer pulls. Her interactions with other dogs and people have become less reactive as well. I am not worried about her damaging her trachea or about her pulling me to the ground anymore. It has restored order to the time I spend with her walking and enjoying the nice weather! We have gone through two of these in two days! The quick release mechanism is what broke both times. We have a 50 pound Husky that we put on a tether in our yard. The first time it broke, the quick release mechanism shattered. The second time it broke partially but remains non functional. The dog got loose and ended up on a busy road. We’ve only had him for a month and because it’s winter we haven’t explored the neighborhood as much as we would like. My dog was a bit afraid of things like skateboards and public transport and also didn't want to go with any dog sitter I brought to her. I adopted a very nervous and scared adult dog who constantly scratched and bit herself. I took her to the vet who declared her physically healthy and recommended calming dog biscuits or Benadryl on days she was especially nervous. There was little improvement I saw comments on rescue dog social media sites about using Adaptil as an alternative to what I had been doing. I tried Adaptil and within less than a week I saw a marked difference. She is calmer now, no habitual scratching or biting, settles down peacefully during naps, and is a much happier dog. I will continue to use Adaptil for as long as she needs it as a safe and constant alterative method of keeping her on pills or calming chews. I rescued a 70 lb lab who is leash-reactive to other dogs. This presented a huge issue as we live in a very dog-friendly complex and we would come across numerous dogs anytime we went out. Not so heavy I'm worried about the added weight being a burden, not so light I'm worried about it not holding up. The stitching is even and secure. The colors are vibrant. The length was easy to adjust without seeming unreliable. The buckle has a "Lock" feature to prevent break-away/ accidental unbuckling. I was skeptical on this at first and was worried that my dog might pull and break the clasp, but I really wanted something that was more adjustable than a typical buckle collar can provide. Our pup is still growing and sometimes a whole hole move is too much! Turns out this is very well made. The buckle is metal and clips together and stays together very well. I had moderate expectations regarding the collar, because it seems, all too often, in today's marketplace merchandise is often only just acceptable. This collar greatly exceeded my expectations! I rescued a 70 lb lab who is leash-reactive to other dogs. This presented a huge issue as we live in a very dog-friendly complex and we would come across numerous dogs anytime we went out. After he pulled me down 3 times (injuring my wrist and ribcage) I decided to give this a try. I had no idea if I needed a 1 or 1.5 inch collar but decided to err on the side of the wider one. We have only used it for 2 days and it has already made a huge difference. It offers so much control that it is easy much easier to get him to move away from the other dogs and I am able to keep him under control so that I am not worried he will knock me over. I've been looking for a collar that can handle my super strong dog for months. I ordered a collar from Amazon and he literally snapped the cheap metal where his leash was hooked. It took me forever to find a collar that looked like it might be strong enough for him. This one seems perfect so far. I bought it knowing it worked for a similar size dog but my puppy must be pretty limber as she was able to reach her stitches (she was desexed) and lick them. Product is okay but more information about sizing and dog type would be better. The size I bought was the correct size for her neck. 4.5 stars! Collar works great! Used on my 3.7kg pup after her spay. She was in it all day and slept in it too, only having taken it off to brush her. Haven’t needed to reinflate at all these pass 2 weeks. It seemed like she enjoyed having it on which was a plus.
