I love the product – your packaging – AGAIN – is HORRIBLE. I ordered two of these and one arrived opened and about ten left in the the bottom of the container. The other container was in tack! I am so thrilled with the results of this product. I contacted the manufacturer, who confirmed that the formula is the same as their cat joint relief product; the dosage and texture is just different between the two. So I buy this for my 2 cats and 1 dog to avoid having to buy two different products that are essentially the same thing. I crumble 1 treat into my senior cats' wet food each day and give 2 daily to my young dog for preventative purposes. Before starting on these, both of my cats had showed some natural decline in mobility, and one of them had torn his ACL tear when attempting a high jump. After just a few days of these treats, both cats showed greater mobility, and the one with the ACL injury was jumping again after a little over a week. After several weeks, he's moving like the young, athletic cat he used to be. We adopted a Cocker Spanial when she was 4 years old. The week after she turned 5 she started having cluster seizures. We have spent thousands of dollars bringing her to her vet for this problem. Each time they increased and add more medication. The poor dog was so drugged that she was walking into walls and falling over, tripping up and down steps, unable to jump on the bed. Even with all the medication, her cluster seizures continued almost every 3 weeks. I recently found a Holistic Vet and she started her on tranquility blend. My 13 year old mixed breed has had severe reactions to thunderstorms for years as well as high anxiety in other situations. Sometimes his shaking was so severe, the bed or sofa would shake to the point that I could not fall asleep. At half dose, this formula calms him down in 5-10 minutes and he is his usual self. I titled this one thanks you because they definitely help my dog. Our dog is only 8 months old, and these calming chews helped her a great deal this week. I had tried different treats and "calming" chews for my dogs, some worked wonderfully, some don't. Some chews my dogs will not even eat or put in their mouths. The VETIQ calming hickory smoke soft chews is one that my dogs approve. I have a 150lb saint bernard, he is very calm and sweet most times; loud noises can really cause him some anxiety sometimes, but as long as I am near, he is fine. I have a Great Pyrenees who has strong guarding instincts. She is very skiddish and leary of anyone she does not know and often growls or barks at them. He was scratching and biting at himself 24/7 and he caused an infection on his foot from the constant licking. He was so miserable until our vet put him on apoquel along w an antibiotic for his infection. The apoquel worked very quickly with relief felt later the same day he started. It Immediately helped my terrier stop gnawing his poor little leg raw. Every spring he has seasonal allergies possibly just allergic to the grass. I am a vet assistant, and I see all kinds of animals coming in with different skin conditions or allergies and always felt so bad for them and their owners….. then I got a dog with allergies and then I found out what it's really like…. it is devastating watching your dog itch and scratch to the point of pulling their hair out, then when the hair is gone… then there goes their skin…. they will make themselves bleed and still won't stop. I tried benadryl I tried EVERYTHING, had to even do skin antibiotics and steroid Injections and still he was itching…. so… the dr tried him on this….. now… first thing I will say is this medication isn't cheap especially for bigger dogs (if you have a 10lbs dog it's not going to be too bad) but my poor dog had to start off taking 2 16mg 2 times a day and it was roughly 300 for the first month, however from there you taper down and after a few months I got him down to half a tablet once daily…. anyway…. this medication worked like a dream for him. He hasn't had any issues for over a year now and although sometimes he scratches its more of a normal itch. This medication literally saved him and my sanity. I highly recommend trying this if your pets dr thinks it's a good fit.michelle.e

We have been giving this to our rescued 9 year-old, 13 lb. cat since March of this year. He has a condition called Hyperesthesia, which causes terrible rippling of his back and according to the vet, feels like needles sticking into the skin.
