I decided to try Quiet Moments because I was having difficulty finding the brand recommended by my veterinarian. My elderly Dachshund was having anxiety issues, so had looked for something "non-chemical" to treat her with if at all possible. I'm cautiously pleased after using it for three weeks now. It appears to be working almost as well as the supplement I had previously been using–and it's available here in town at our (new!) Tractor Supply. First time ordering and the item came quickly which was great. Unfortunately, the box was completely busted open and the treats had fallen out into the shipping bag. My dog was in a high-stress situation so I didn't have time to take a picture or send the treats back, but I really wish they handled my package with more care. The only reason why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because it took a little longer than expected for these to kick in. My dog has terrible anxiety and when it storms, she shakes and pants heavily and just paces everywhere. I had to look for something because her behavior was becoming so bad, I couldn't control her and she's normally well behaved. I saw the reviews and ordered these. I gave her two due to her size and after about half an hour, the shaking and heavy breathing stopped. She became so calm. I should have gotten these a long time ago! But the proper dose of Cerenia 30 minutes before the trip took care of it. Skippy is actually in remission now and much improved, so he doesn't get carsick anymore, but we keep Cerenia on hand for those oddball appetite days in case of stomach upset. a real help for us. ALWAYS administer Cerenia according to your veterinarian's guidelines for YOUR pet's situation. NOTE: Do not wrap Cerenia inside a Pill Pocket or anything. I take a small piece of a Pill Pocket and place the Cerenia on it, just enough to give me something to help it slide down. I use Cerenia to reduce inflammation in my chihuahua's lungs due to coughing as a result of her enlarged heart. It also helps soothe her belly as the cough medicine she is prescribed makes her nauseous. Also as a retired Veterinary Technician I have helped many veterinarians prescribe this product to pets for a multitude of reasons and it's simply a wonderful product, from car sickness, to general stomach upset, to even some anti-inflammatory properties for cough. These work pretty well, I try to give them to my 4 month old German shepherd mix 30 mins before we leave. A couple times I gave them to her 20 mins before and that worked once but the next time it didn't. It prevents the excess drooling and her getting dizzy and she's able to enjoy her ride. Wow! This medication is a miracle worker. My 7 month old Shichon would get sick within 5 min of any car ride. Sometimes 4 or 5 times if the ride was even just an hour. Works well to help our goldendoodle puppy not vomit when traveling by car. The pills break apart easily so sometimes I inadvertently give her less than a full dose (sometimes half a dose) and it still works well for her! There are no side effects from these meds.Emily

I bought this first time for Pnut (Peanut). It made him nutty and neurotic. It did something horrendous to him. He did great with "calming" chews that have suntheanine (an amino acid) I saved it away in a drawer… this stuff lasts for years because it is a tincture with glycerine. Pnut died. Destroyed me and then I got two more cats. On stressful opp I pulled it out and wow.. it was miraculous. My third cat will eat food with it on it, but he neither gets neurotic nor zens out. I have used Bach rescue remedy for many years now. I have saved birds lives, calmed feral cats and it works wonders on nervous dogs. Use just a few drops during thunderstorms or fireworks for dogs. Great for high strung animals. If a bird flies into a window of your house, and is only suffering shock, a few drops will revive the bird. Amazing product! I always keep one bottle in my purse. My dog ate this willingly only twice. I've even dipped it meat juice & he will not eat it. If I crush it in his food he rejects the whole bowl. He is not picky at all. so these must taste pretty bad. They are very dry. no idea if they work or not, can't see results if he won't eat them. I can assume the ingredients are medicinal. I am happy with the life saving product. The product arrived surrounded by dry ice and it was freezing cold. The company insert says to keep FROM freezing so I was a little confused and uncertain if I should proceed but she needed her injection. The BEST! Fan had real issues getting his stuff together. Very sensitive tummy. He hated another brand and wouldn't bother with it. He loves this stuff. He has to wait 2 hours for breakfast every work day cause he comes to office with me. By the time we arrive he's ready to be fed. He runs around, jumps on the furniture and barks up a storm when the kibble bag is opened but the second the tin appears, he gets down to business of sitting still and drooling. This is for my dog Margo, this morning is day two of her having it so I don’t know based off her poop if it’s working but I am sure it will. Yesterday I added the powder with a little tiny bit of water just in case she fussed over the powder being on the food, she ate it all no problem. This morning I tried it just dry and she loved it! I read tons of reviews on multiple sites and decided to try these on my dogs. These legit work!!! My dogs(we have 5) had a bad can of stress diarrhea for a week from moving to a new home. My little Papillon, Dixie (1.9 yrs old) has had the typical small dog issues with her stools since she was a pup (who ever decided to breed a small breed dog with long butt hair wasn't really thinking "practical"! I like to compare it to a woman trying to go to the bathroom in a wedding dress!) and about 1 year ago she had a BAD bout of Pancreatitis that landed her in the Emergency Hospital for 6 days (a pretty penny- about $2700.00! Thank goodness for Pet Insurance!). This product has been a life saver for both Dixie and me! Ofcourse no over-the-counter medication is an equal replacement for veterinary care if your dog is ill, but this is a great product for every pet owner to have on hand! It's great for the occasional upset stomach and when your dog gets into the cat food, trash, etc. It's also been great with the history of Pancreatitis, if Dixie gets an upset stomach after my regular vet's office hours, it works almost immediately and it helps prevent the dangerous symptoms associated with moderate to severe diarreaha such as dehydration (it doesn't take many loose bowel movements for an 8lb. dog to get dangerously dehydrated), vomiting blood and bloody diarreaha from an irritated G.I. tract, etc,. This has helped by me time to get through the night without having to take Dixie back to the outrageously expensive Emergency Hospital and calms her symptoms until our regular vet opens. It's worth shelling out the few bucks to have this on hand rather than the costs of an emergency visit! It's some sort of Doggie-Murphy's-Law that your pet only gets sick at 2am… I call it Doggie- Immodium, it really does work great and my vet said it's great to have on hand and perfectly safe to give your pet. It says on the label (or somewhere in the advertisement) that your pet will love the taste and the review from "Snoozer" before mine said their dog liked it, but unfortunately I have them beat with "picky-dog factor" Dixie HATES it! The good thing is that because its a nice thick paste as long as I get it somewhere on her muzzle (she puts up a fight like you wouldn't believe- but that stems from being treated poorly and force-fed as a puppy, it's not the products fault) she does lick it off and gets enough medicine in her system to be effective! So overall, I highly recommend every dog and cat owner to have this in your home, even if your animal doesn't have a history of GI issues! Most people have Immodium or pepto in their medicine cabinets, shouldn't you do the same for your pet? PS- the cats LOVE the taste! They even lick the paper towel I wipe my hand off on after giving it! Hello, I ordered this product for my cat who has had diarrhea for several months following a move to a new home and the stress of a now mobile toddler. The product took a very long time to arrive which is not a huge problem itself, but wish it would have been expressed clearly before ordering. After feeding my cat the 1/2 a pill he threw up about an hour later. I tried once more 8 hours later thinking maybe he just had a hair ball or something and he threw up again. I realize spending $50 on a product that may not work is a risk, and one that I was willing to take. Tried the Chews several times over the course of a week and a half in different situations. Adopted a black mouth cur from the shelter. Escape artist, separation anxiety to the maximum. I recently adopted 2 retired greyhounds and noticed my female would hide and pant before and during rainstorms. I bought these just a few weeks before July 4th since the firecrackers were already starting to explode in our neighborhood and my male grey refused to walk after hearing pops and getting spooked. I got 2 in XL: one in Camo with orange stripes and the sport in platinum which has a quilted weave and feels thicker so I could see if they had any preference since they both fit on either dog (they like them both). Just followed the directions for wrapping the shirts and it seemed to instantly calm my girl down to the point where she doesn’t want to take it off though eventually she lets me. I’m not sure it helps my male so much since it’s gotten so hot out that I won’t add an extra layer on them in this heat and cause them to have heat stroke but I put it on them during stormy weather and they both really like wearing the shirts which surprised me so I think he likes it too. My "little" guy has a life long issue with loud noises that began about eight years ago when he was eleven weeks old and we ventured out in between thunder showers with his mom and dad. Suddenly a stray lightning bolt hit missed us by only a few yards and the accompanying explosive noise terrified my three dogs and myself. The dogs went howling into the house and you can imagine the impact that experience had on a very young pup. I did everything I could think of to acclimate Yulee to sudden loud noises but nothing seemed to work as well as the ThunderShirt we purchased on the Amazon site. He's not as frightened of approaching thunder boomers as he is by gun fire or fireworks probably because he can gradually get into a more relaxed state with advancing storms. Now we also have time to prepare him for the thunder claps and we're relieved that he apparently finds the ThunderShirt comforting.
