We received out playful pup on my daughters birthday last week. Fist thing we did was turn him on and he started playing right away I liked the fact that you didn’t have to do a bunch of set up to be able to play with it as soon as it was opens. We then named him “puppy” that was a simple process. My daughter played with him for a n hour or so before the battery died and we had to plug him in. I was surprised that she was able to play with him right away I had figured we would need to charge it before playing. The one down fall we have found is that it dosent pick up on our voices really well but it will pick up on my husbands so I’m assuming that my daughter and my voices are too soft to pick up and since it’s a kids toy not a dads toy that kinda sucks. Her favorite part so far is that is “pees” on the floor she laughed so hard at that. Even baby sister is getting in on playing with him, and we love giving him snuggles. Over all I think this is a really neat toy, I feel like it is a bit over priced for what it is but it is competitively price with other toys similar to it. We love o puppy!Boki

We were so excited when we learned we got chosen to get this toy for free! Once we received the toy (we got the puppy by the way) we charged him up for an hour just as it stated in the instruction booklet. When my daughter switched him on it was amazing and so life like. He sat when she told him to sit down, he would roll over on his back and she rubbed his tummy. Shortly after that he stopped moving and his eyes were still green. We kept trying to see what was wrong with him but by the look of it he needed to be charged, AGAIN. 20 minutes didn’t even pass yet and he stopped working. The same thing kept happening over and over again until she eventually got tired of it happening while she was trying to say the commands to him. This toy is brilliant but I think this specific one we received might have been defective.Shantel125

I received the Zoomer Playful Pup free to review from Family Rated for my honest opinion. Words cannot described how excited my kids were when they received this. We recently moved to our new apartment a year ago in which our new apartment does not allow us to have pets. We use to have a 2yr old all white Labrador/Chihuahua mix. We had to give it away because of the no pet policy. So this Zoomer pup kind of looks like a Labrador/Chihuahua. When my kids received the Zoomer Play pup, it acts and responds just like a real puppy, they were beyond thrill. This is like us adopting a whole new puppy into our family. So we named it "Chibi" after our previous dog that we gave away. My daughter truly misses her old dog so this has brought a lot of comfort for her. She sleeps with Zoomer Playful pup every night like it's her real puppy. You can hear my kids giggle when Zoomer Playful pup is laying on his back kicking it's leg while you give it a belly rub. The playful pup can do many tricks but sometimes we have a little problem with the voice command, for example we will tell it to "Roll Over" it will do some other tricks "Let's Dance" or "Lie Down" instead. However, it is hilarious when Zoomer Playful pup can go potty. The only negative is we wish the playtime can be longer. It seems after 1 hour charge, playtime only lasts about 15-20min. Aside from that I would say this is the best Robotic dog ever, I highly recommend this to everyone! If I ever win the Lotto I would buy tons of these and donate to the Children's Hospital for kids that have special health problem or allergies that they can't have real puppies. This will seriously make their dreams come true! Thank you for such a great invention as we are truly grateful and thankful for Family rated to have given us this opportunity to review this product. About a week ago i received spot from Bzzagent and gave him to my 3 year boy and his 6 year sister. The two of them absolutely love Spot, they play with him for hours every day. i personally love how interactive Spot is and how easy he is to interact with. I love that he is stationary as my kids generally break every toy that moves and then cry about how their toy is now broken. Spot is fun for kids of all ages, he barks and whines and cries with joy. His eyes follow your hand movements and he plays music that interacts with hand motion as well. My only complaint would have to be the volume level the music plays at. Even my son has to cover his ears when that music gets going. I would definitely recommend this toy to anyone with a child, they will instantly fall in love.SarahM1982

My kids were super excited when our Zoomer Zuppie Spot arrived. Thanks to #GotitFree and #BzzAgent! My 6 year old got bored with him when she realized that she doesn't 'walk' without her having to manually roll him around. She will carry him around the house though and won't let anyone touch him on occasion. On those occasions 'Spot' is only hers. =) My 3 year old LOVES spot. Dances around the room with him and likes to tell me when Spot is sad. He'll tell him to sit and stay too. The bottom battery is rather hard to get in and out. One might want to invest in rechargable batties too. A volume control would be wonderful. After 10 minutes of the kids playing I have to leave the room or make them go into another room. If the price were lower I think I would recommend to a friend. However at $30+ I just cannot do it.6PackMama78

Dimensions: Length = 6 inches (from nose to tail) Appearance: Made of plastic. White dog with black spots. The eyes light up in different pattern. Usage/Performance: Once you insert the battery and flip on the switch (on the belly side), the dog is ready to go. You’ll notice right away it makes lots of fun and interesting noises. Pushing on the nose will cycle through several games and modes. In all these cases, the eyes of the dog act like the screen. The game is usually played using the sensors in front of the chest as they detect the movement of your hand. There are 5 games, an angry mode, and normal mode. In normal mode, petting the dog on the head will cause her eyes to look up. Sliding your hands side to side in front of the dog will cause her eyes to follow your hands. If you leave it alone for a while, it will sigh. One of the games is a music game. It will play music, and if you move slide your hand side to side in front of the chest (where the chest sensors are), it will add musical sounds. There are 2 other games that are variations of “pong”. Moving the hand will move the paddle. In angry mode, it will just keep barking at you and when you try to pet it, it will growl. Summary: Positives: Cute puppy that makes adorable sounds. It has very clever use of sensors on top of head and in front of chest for the child to interact with the puppy. It is small and light so the child can take it wherever she/he goes. Negatives: The dog does not move/walk/roll on its own. Several other Zoomer products move/roll. This one does not. We received our NEW FURREAL FRIENDS®: Get Up & Go-Go, My Walkin' Pup™ free from Hasbro, thank you Hasbro! This puppy has been my daughter's new best friend since she saw the box. She has wanted a puppy, but due to her allergies we have not gotten her a real one, so this was a great treat for her! The first thing she did was name her puppy "sparkle." This toy takes four C batteries, which for this promotion came with. The quality of the puppy is great. A very solid toy. Also, pretty realistic for a toy puppy. The fur is super soft and great for cuddling with a young girl. The puppy comes with a collar and a leash (which is non-removable), this is the device for walking with the puppy. On the end of the leash there is the handle with the button for walking the puppy. You push the button and the puppy walks/barks/talks (of course in puppy language). On the top of the puppy's head there is a bow, which if it is tapped the puppy sits down. The instructions said that the puppy responds to voice commands, although not super clear with what commands it responds to. This puppy came with an optional application which can be downloaded to your phone or tablet. The application is free. This really optimizes the interaction that the child can have with the puppy. The puppy just has to sit close to the phone/tablet and they connect via blue tooth. There are numerous games that you can play with the puppy with the application and the puppy with interact according to what is being done. Very cute and intuitive application. It does make a bit of an annoying sound of the "talking" between the puppy and application. This puppy has played with the girls for hours. We received this product as a review from Hasbro. From the perspective of my 4yr old daughter this was a hit. This toy has gotten more teeth brushed and tea times that any of her other toys. Taking it out of the box and getting it ready was a breeze. She quickly caught on on how the buttons on the leash worked to control it. For the first few weeks I just let her play with just the toy and then showed her the Iphone app for this toy. It was like getting a new toy all over again. Initially she thought it was just a game and did not understand that it interacts with the actual dog. She still has not caught on to it yet but the app has kept her entertained. Her parents get a kick out of how when you wash the dog in the app the FURREAL Dog starts getting upset and makes noises to show it This toy also moves around by rollers, it does not walk. Movement on rough terrain was a bit unsteady. The noise leve from this toy is acceptable. It is not loud or overpowering. It has been a few weeks and she is still playing with it and having tea parties with it. So in her eyes she still loves it. In her parents eyes we are hoping that the novelty of this does not wear off any time soon.CaptK13

NOTE: I received this product free from Bzzagent to honestly review. Though I might not have sought out such a toy on my own, I was excited to see how my four year old child would interact with it, and she was overjoyed at its arrival. The toy is even cuter in person, and well made. The fur is thick and soft, so the puppy is cuddly, her eyes appear almost bright and "shiny" and the mouth and nose look quite realistic, all things considered. The leash walking is fun and she seemed to respond quite well to the leash control button and moved fine on tile and carpet. The tail wag is very much like a real dog's, as are the head tilt and the playful open mouth expression. Sometimes the pup will also spontaneously charge forward on its own. My little one discovered that one cool thing the pup can do is be "stood up" on her back legs and then flip back down to the ground on her front paws. It would be nice if the toy could react to simple voice commands or to hugs, or run purposefully towards objects placed in front of it. However, as she is, there is plenty of room for creative play, such as running doggy daycare or a training obstacle course for pups (which is what my child and her friends have done, among other things). The variety of sounds she makes (from whimpering to dog singing to loud belches) is entertaining but random. One issue I have is with sound-based interaction. The toy is supposed to react to hand clapping by moving forward, but this seems to be a bit spotty and can be a little disappointing for smaller children when it doesn't work. Also, it's advertised as being compatible with a downloadable interactive app. My issue with the app is that only about 50% of the time does the dog respond to it in any way indicating that they're really interacting– it's supposed to make sounds in response to activities, such as getting a bath or being fed, but the dog just continues making random, unrelated noises. I'm aware that the phone must be placed close to the dog (and loud enough) for it to respond, but this has been very hit and miss. This could be a phone issue, I suppose, but there is nothing wrong with my phone or its volume. My daughter still enjoys playing with the app sometimes with her puppy next to her, and apps are definitely not a top priority in my book for a toy given to (in this case) a preschooler, but if I were paying good money for this toy, I would not have been very impressed with this function. Two months out, the toy has definitely not been abandoned in our household. The toy has seen daily use and still looks brand new. Battery life is great. This seems to be a very durable, quality-made product. Given a few limitations, I don't think that I would pay the current "going rate" for this toy (maybe the price will drop over time?), but it has been an enjoyable companion, and my little one certainly likes her.bluepoodles

Very well made interactive puppy that makes various noises & actions. My Mum loves Cheeky, as do the other residents in her care home. Cheeky creates interest wherever she goes, she is spoken to so much and she obliges by woofing back. My Mum kindly lends Cheeky to her friend Ethel when shes feeling very distressed & needs to leave to go home to look after her parents. My mother has dementia. She had a dog before needing full time care in a special home. She kept asking to have a dog but it wasn't practical or permitted in the facility. I got her the Joy For All puppy. It makes her smile. She talks to it and pets it. She named it "Noodles". My only complaint is that it is heavy for her weak arms and hands and the large, hard interior mechanism takes away from the realistic feel.lauriehay

We absolutely love the Present pets. Very unique concept, probably the first toy that unbox itself. My kids has so much fun playing with their adorable pet. My daughter loves her new Present Pet from SpinMaster. It comes in a sealed box that opens to reveal a surprise pet. The puppy should break through the last bit of the box itself, but we missed reading the included note that stated those instructions. My daughter loves surprise toys and was thrilled when her box was opened to reveal Kweenie. The dog responds to her voice by barking to communicate when you’ve entered bark mode by simply pressing the button on its back. The toy will go into cuddle mode when you pet the top of its head, gets playful when you pet its belly, and will do a trick when you hold its back button and pet it’s head. My daughter favorite feature is game mode where the puppy will bark in sequence and wait for you to imitate its number and rhythm of barks. The dog is perfect size for cuddles and playing and is easy to operate. Super cute and fun toy that brings hours of entertainment. My daughter is already wanting a second present pet. We didn’t buy these, but the grandparents did. This is the dumbest toy. 2 of our kiddos just had to have one of these… they looked at them on Christmas day and never played with them again. Total waste of $60 each. They hook into the base thing but the way they hook in is by sticking this metal spring in a hole in their rear (?). Really weird. Additionally, they don’t do much except make a few noises. Be careful when opening the box. If you open it wrong the animal won’t pop out, defeating the point of the surprise.honestabe

I like the design of this and it has a sweet face. It included batteries so it was ready to use out of the box. My kid wants a puppy but it is not a good time to adopt right now so this is a nice alternative. My kid is just the right height for this length of leash. It can walk forward, backwards and bark. This is such a cute little unicorn for all the unicorn crazed kids. My 8 year old daughter loves how cute she is and she loves the big light eyes. My 2 year old niece really enjoyed pressing the button to see the wings move and the beautiful glow. The noise level is a little louder than I’d like, but that’s how I feel about all of their toys. I have 2 big dogs and I walk them everyday. My little one always wants to help but sometimes they are a bit hard to handle. Now with her walk along pet puppy and leash she can walk her dog with me. I love how you can add more that one dog on the leash and we will be getting a 2nd one to add to the dog she has. I love how u push the leash and the dog bounces up and down as it walks and makes the cutest dog noises. Super cute!Amandas81
