First a foremost, I was really upset that I had to shell out over a hundred bucks for a dog cage. But since we have a brute escape artist that kept destroying her old kennel and hurting herself during the process. With this kennel, it has stopped all escapes, no signs of giving or stress. She's made it her home even when she doesn't need to be there.it comes with removable caster wheels for easy relocation, or take them off and leave it stationary while cutting a few inches off the overall height,The door is easily removable and attaches back on in a matter of a few seconds. We were worried about the meshed ground and her getting her toes caught in it, but I comes with a removable tray that's meant for the bottom, but we placed it over and that's her floor. The tree is just a tad under 5 foot. Not a problem for our little living room. The LED lights can be very bright–but you can unplug the LED lights! It still has 8 different light mod's even with the LED's unpluged. The longer branches on the bottom will not hold heavy ornaments. Light weight ornaments and garland is fine. It really is pretty even with out ornaments. The fiber optics make it a very colorful tree, even in the day time. The LED's are to brite for our liking. Not a problem for us we just unpluged them! Hey it's a 60 dollar tree. We are happy with it. You will have to fold down all of the branches they are not hinged like some of the higher dollar trees. It filled out nice! I bought the medium size crate for my husky/pit bull mix. It got here super fast and was undamaged. All the parts fit and instructions were easy to follow. I was glad it came partially assembled. I put it together by myself and that is saying alot, because as a 60 year old woman it was pretty heavy! I did zip tie the top shut and also use a plastic coated tie out cable to reinforce the door. I was unsure the locks would remain shut if he wanted to get out. My dog seems to appreciate the space inside the crate. I was worried about the floor wiring, so I put a thick, flat quilt in there to cover it. I have been using it for 5 days and so far, it has been good. I am happy he has more space and the strength of the crate seems to be good. I suppose we shall see over the long haul, but at this point, it's working well. I would recommend this product to anyone and I'm saving up to buy 2 more for my other big dogs. I wish this was the first crate I bought for my dog. She wrecked 2 of the wire metal crates and even escaped from one. I have no idea how she damaged the other crates without hurting herself in the process. NOW! I do not worry about that. She tries to chew on the bars but only manages to peel some of the dark coating off. She is 60 lbs and she shuffles her bedding around a bit but she can not bend the bars or move the placement of the crate in any way. Two of the bars were bent during shipping so one of the screw placements does not align. But that has not decreased the integrity of the crate at all. This crate has made me a lot more relaxed to know that when I leave the dog is safe. It's also really easy to collapse and fold up and to add or remove the wheels. I purchased this kennel five years ago. When I rescued our Border Collie they told me she would escape every kind of kennel. And I thought, “She won’t break out of a metal kennel.” Well, she tore through two metal kennels, bent them beyond use, and hopped or walked them across rooms!! So, I began the search. After reading all of the other reviews I thought for sure that my escape artist husky would not be able to get out of this. And boy was I wrong, it took her a total of about 10 minutes to figure out how to pick the locks and let herself out. I had to wrap a big steel chain with a pad lock on it to prevent it from being opened. For the price, save your money for a better kennel thats actually going to do the job as advertised. I would have rated the cage with 5 stars but unfortunately there were a few bends in the frame from shipping when it arrived. After carefully straightening that bends the cage is just what I wanted. It was already pretty much assembled you just had to unfold the sides, attach the wheels and top then tighten the bolts holding the sides to the bottom. The only time a crate is detrimental to your dog is if your dog is terrified of it and you shove your dog in there frequently or if you lock your dog in there all the time, for hours on end as a punishment. When a crate is used responsibly, it is safe and the dogs like it. We adopted three rescue dogs and all of them are crate trained. They sleep in their crate at night. They go to their crate to take a nap when they feel like it. There is nothing wrong with having a safe space for your dog.

I did my due diligence before I ordered this product and found for the size and measurements of this crate that it was the best deal I was able to find online and in stores locally. Unfortunately when I was unfolding it the corner of the black tray in the bottom broke off. The wire is a bit flimsy, but for the price I guess it’s not bad. Some of the edges of the wire are sharp like they were only cut or snipped off rather than rounded. when I spend $100 I like to assume what I am ordering will be a high quality, but it was cheaper than all the others so I can’t really complain especially taking into consideration that the quality of just about everything these days is not great like it used to be! My wife and I are searching for our own little dog. I have some experience with crate training. I raised two Yellow Labrador's from pups and helped my daughter in crate training her Malti-Poo. Being crate trained is essential to having a happy, well adjusted pet and also to having a clean home that is free of the damage that pets can do, when left on their own. Even something as simple as going to work every day and leaving the dog to their own devices can cause big problems. Dogs go through severe separation anxiety and can destroy your home. Not to mention pooping and peeing everywhere. My daughter's dog is well trained (you're welcome). The dog knows that her kennel is her safe place, her refuge. But, because I didn't get to start training the dog till she had already developed some bad habits, I still have to change her bedding every day. I am just grateful that she doesn't do her business anywhere else in the house.Now, about this 'i-Crate' from Mid-West. This is a very well thought out SYSTEM. Not just a crate. The crate itself is well designed and constructed. The welded wire construction is strong and durable. The black enamel paint job and will endure a lot of abuse. The pan is a good quality, durable plastic pan that is deep enough to contain the dogs bedding and any 'mistakes' the dog can make. It's also very easy to clean. The pan can be removed without going into the crate. It slides out one end. The doors have good latches that the dog will not be able to manipulate (yes, some dogs are that smart). Standing the crate up and breaking it down is very simple and quick. Aside from the basic crate, the accessory panel does help to prevent the dog from using their crate as a potty, by keeping the space small enough that they can't 'go' far enough from where they sleep to keep them comfortable. And, the panel is easily moved to expand their 'room' as they grow. The system comes with an online tutorial on how to properly crate train your dog, along with some other great tips on helping keep your dog happy and healthy. You can even request a DVD, if the online version is not convenient enough. This was a good purchase. I'm very comfortable with giving it five stars.

I 1st purchased a crate similar to this 2 yrs ago I have one boy in it & it comes in super handy. Now we have this 2nd one & its the best to create train any dog. I do not trust any pet to roam around a large home even a tiny home. I will always stir to this crate over any petsmart or Petco gates or kennelsmonie30something

This is well worth the money if you have a large dog you need to make sure is going to be contained. We bought several different brands in the past and it seemed like she would destroy them and be waiting for us to return home so she could hand us the pieces. Not so with this product. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Super easy to assemble. Large enough for my 130 pounds Great Pyrenees. (Before I get a response as to why I have a Great Pyrenees in this kennel.) The dog is a beautiful dog and I have had people try to steal her. If I leave her in the house she is smart enough to unlock and open doors to try and follow me. She does go to every store that will allow her, but there are times I have to shop for groceries and this is the brief time she is kenneled.
So we have a bit of a wild dog (she's still a pup), a total wrecker. But my God, she was so happy to have this cage as a home. She really likes it. It is definitely sturdy, so when your dog needs a timeout, you can put him/her in there and you don't have to worry about them breaking out. We added a bed as the base, with a plastic covering (kind of like a tarp) so the bed stays clean. So she is super comfy in there. We've been potty training her, so we were worried that she would go to the bathroom in there, but so far she has not, and the first thing she does when released from her home is to run up our hill to use the toilet (metaphorically of course!). Great investment.
I was super anxious about finding a new kennel for my German shepherd. He is an escape artist and I was scared about him trying to escape and getting injured on some cheap material. Knock on wood, he has not escaped since I got it. He actually likes going in the kennel when he doesn't even have to. I would just say switch out the metal rack for the actual flat surface tray. I would never have my dog on that type of rack alone and he tears up any beds I put in there. I wish all of the wheels were lockable but I ended up just taking them off because he can move it even with both wheels locked. Highly recommend so far and worth the money for his safety. Make sure the top is bolted when you tighten the bolts on the side though or it won't line up. Highly recommend for any 80 pound escape artist like mine
