Using a cotton ball to remove the residue (and icky stuff), and she clearly hears better. My Sunshine has been suffering for years with itchiness and toes swollening and getting infected to the point of puss coming out. Looking at the ingredients, sure you could make this stuff yourself, but for the money, it's more affordable to just buy a container, especially when a little goes so far. When I first put it on, he wasn't happy. I suppose his feet hurt so much on those spots, touching them was painful. However, shortly after using it, it was if he was a different dog. I recently received a sample of the Vetericyn Foam Care Medicated Shampoo to try. I have 3 small short hair dogs that have dry skin issues in the cooler months. I was able to put the shampoo to the test after my little guys decided to roll on some dead critter out in the back 40. They all came in tails wagging and smelling like week old road kill. First off, the spray nozzle on the Vetericyn Foam Care is a great idea! This made bath time so much easier. You can spray the foam shampoo exactly where you need it. No more filling your hand or slopping shampoo on the pup's back. There is no heavy medicated smell from the shampoo. It almost instantly killed the horrendous odor the dogs had. After they all got dried, there was no odor or any sort of medicated smell. They all smelled like puppies again. I like the fact the Vetericyn Foam Care leaves a neutral smell. I like this product. I really like the design of the bottle and how it is a spray/foaming formula. That really does make the shamooing process easier, although, once I had sprayed it a few times, I don't think my dog was a fan of the spray noise. I have to give my dog a bath daily with Chlorohexidine shampoo due to his severe allergies. It's the only thing that really helps topically. I did use this in addition to the Chlorohexidine, and I feel like it helped some with drying out his rashes. Unfortunately, there's only so much I can do to help my dog with allergies. I haven't found a cure or anything that gets rid of the redness, flaking, and itching he has. Because of the spraying option, this is easier to use for getting on his belly/under his legs. I think it's an effective product, just not sure how effective since my dog has a chronic allergy issue. It has a nice smell as well! Clean but not fruity or overwhelming. This shampoo is not only so easy to use, it's been such a good product to use overall! The foaming spray makes lathering so much easier since I don't have to spread a gel shampoo so much just to make sure it doesn't sit mostly in one spot. The shampoo didn't seem to overdry my dog's coat or skin, but it was really good at removing all the dirt either way. Because it's a foaming shampoo, it also washes away so much more easily which saves me time and effort with washing her. She smelled so clean and her fur looked so healthly after the first use! I have had no problems using "Adams flea & tick spot on" treatments on my dog for the last year. My dog is a large dog. He weighs 85 pounds. He has had no negative reactions to this product. My dog is mostly an 'indoor dog'. The amount of time he is exposed to ticks and fleas is very limited. My only dislike with the Adams is that it seems a bit 'greasy' and can be difficult to applyimg to his upper neck behind the shoulders. This flea and tick treatment is a great deal. Bio spot defense kills fleas, the methoprene in it also kills their eggs and larvae as well as ticks and mosquitoes. It's water resistant, so you don't have to worry about your pet being in the rain. The ingredients are similar to other products. The best part is the applicator. Open the applicator, stick an unopened tube in, and close it. It automatically snaps the tube open. Then to apply, you just place the tip on your pet, press the button and move to another spot, press again, and once more. Remove the tube and discard. My dog seems to be doing fine with this product. When i first applied it, i had given him a bath just 2 hours prior. I found out that giving a bath 48-72 hours prior to application of a topical flea preventative is best instead of 1-2 hours because bathing a dog will naturally strip the skin and coat of oils, oils that are needed for the flea product to distribute itself around the body of the dog through the process of Translocation.Anyways the first time i applied the product i still saw fleas. We started using this for our Golden due to her health issues. While she was taking Caranidin she did not have any bladder issues for infection. She became very ill with a heart issue and trying to keep the cost down we tried something different. That was a HUGE mistake! She started having urinary infections. In my specific case, this product did not work as expected, recurring E coli UTI is again here. However, due to some clinical reports and recommendations, cranberry extract may prevent UTI caused by UPEC (Uropathogen E coli). And Crananidin is among very few products available that has standardized amount of proanthocyanidin, an active substance which might prevent E coli to attach on bladder wall. For this reason, I would recommend to try it, but do not expect miracles; it may work, but it may also not work. Our vet suggested trying this for a senior cat with recurring bladder infections. Although she has only been taking it a short time, and only time will tell if it's effective, I've been pleased with the fact that it has been easy to give – 1/4 tab wrapped in a Pill Pocket, and she eats it willingly. You needed a bigger size. Generally, I would recommend sizing up once or twice anyway. The smaller ones are too small and not as thick of material therefore easier for any size dog to tear up. Additionally, if the toy isn’t full of snacks, take it away. Don’t let them chew on the toy itself just as a chew toy. That is another reason why the toy may get damaged. If the dog is focused on getting the snack out, they’ll be much less focused on destructive behaviors and tearing things apart. If you have a puppy, remember they teethe and it HURTS. They self sooth by chewing. Give them things it’s okay to chew on/destroy like Nyla bones (which seriously last forever even in strong determined breeds). Last thing to mention, is that if you really want to go with indestructible, prefer something that’ll keep them busy for a lot longer periods of time, then get the weighted feeder kong balls. I put some dog food into ours along with some soft small very strong smelling treats and my dogs work on this for HOURS. It’s how they get their meals or at least part of their meal each day. You can fed the whole meal this way if you want. They come in different sizes but the biggest size has worked perfectly for all of my dogs (weights range from 35 to 150lbs). They knock it over and the snack or treat falls out of a little hole. Then they keep working on it little by little, it’s really a great option for keeping them distracted! Just be sure to take it away when they’re not using it anymore so they don’t learn to guard it. This is true with any toy, treat, bone, or food. Offer a few times a day then take away when they’re no longer interested. Free feeding is one of the worst habits to start and makes it difficult for owners to tell quickly when something is off with their pet. I learned this the hard way! (Google this if you don’t believe me) I would still consider these Kong balls to be indestructible IF you use them properly. I have huge, strong dogs, a sharp toothed and very busy heeler and both have had theirs for 4 years without incident and not even a puncture mark into either one. I filled with “mini” milk bones and broken in half “small” milk bones but just read another reviewer said they freeze theirs with pnut butter and treats inside. Amazing! Amazing at entertainment for my dog. Love how we can stick big treats in there and keep him busy whenever we have to leave the house. I think it's a must for training your dog. Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it. So best to keep the toy until you notice any wear or tear. I like how it has multiple sizes and has really good durability.. this is a really good investment for your dog! We have found many creative ways to entertain our husky/German shep/malamute mutt who has high energy and high affinity to treats. 10/10 would recommend. There's also some Kong specific treats you can find meant to fit into the toy to make it very difficult for the dog to remove it. We like that there is a lot of creative ways to use it. We had two on rotation for when our puppy was teething and needed a lot of attention. Frozen treats allowed for the pup to work on the kong. This is the old classic rubber Kong dog toy. I have the regular size and the small size for my boxer and for my Boston terrier. Its shape causes it to bounce in random directions. My dog absolutely loves this toy. I've put everything in that thing. I have broken up some single ingredient treats and stuffed them in Kong. We refer to my dogs as having ADHD, or a very SHORT attention span, but not with this toy they absolutely love it!! . I put treats as well as peanut butter bananas or yogurt then put them in the freezer. The freezing slows down their ability to clean out the inside quickly so the game lasts a little longer. The rubber is hard enough so they cannot chew through it yet soft on their teeth and gums. The hole is large enough to easily fill the inside as well as wash out the inside after use. Definitely buy multiples so that there are some in the freezer ready to go on those hot days or on those days that you just need a little time to get something done while your dog is occupied. For starters: I purchased the LifeGold, Old Friend, DetoxGold, and Spark. My little girl is 13 years young. About a month ago my baby girl Littles was told she had to be taken home and put on “Hospice”. My cat is only 2 and a half and he has been suffering from urinary tract infections/crystals for the past year, which is not as common for male cats. My little Gigi, a Maltese/Silky Terrier mix, turned 13 a couple of months ago. Two weeks ago she suddenly stopped eating and was losing weight rapidly. She was also having trouble swallowing. We went to the vet – bloodwork showed normal except for very elevated white blood cells indicating an infection. The vet also found what felt like a tumor on her thyroid. She was given a shot of antibiotics and sub q fluids, but I was told it was the beginning of the end. I chose not to have the tumor aspirated to find cancer cells as I didn't want to increase her stress. I made the decision that I would not put her through surgeries or heavy treatments at her age; my intention was to try to give her the best quality of life possible and let her go when she was ready. I took Gigi home and started researching. I found Life Gold and read all the reviews, then ordered it with my fingers crossed that what I was reading was authentic. I also got Turkey Tail and Agaricus Blazie mushrooms, both known for their cancer-fighting properties. I purchased them separately, as the "kit" that includes a mushroom mix was too expensive for me at the time, but I will likely purchase it later. I started her on everything within two days of her diagnosis. The first few days I was able to get more food into her – she gained a little weight, but was pretty zonked from the powerful antibiotics. She continued to be a very picky eater – I put eight Live Gold drops on bread, then wrapped the bread in thinly sliced rare beef and was able to get her to take it 2x a day, along with the mushrooms in capsule form. She slowly improved over seven days or so, sleeping a lot, but I was still having to work hard to coax her to eat – roasted chicken with skin and sliced beef were all she would do, but even so, over time she improved by about 80%. She was gaining ground, but we were still struggling with food, so I took her back to the vet today for more sub q fluids. We found that she had gained 5 ounces despite eating issues. Tonight she began to eat her chicken-wrapped supplements more enthusiastically. I'm also finding it harder to locate the lump on her thyroid. When she is ready she will return to her regular diet of freeze-dried raw food combined with home-made organic turkey and veggies – my dogs also get sardines packed in unsalted water, soft-boiled eggs a couple of times a week, and other non-processed treats like raw carrot (read The Forever Dog – it's on Amazon). Gigi seems to feel better every day and is returning to her old self, but I know that each day is a gift and that things could change quickly at her age. For now she's happy and engaged, barking at squirrels, interested in the world, wagging her tail, alert, and loving, and I'm grateful.

I have used Happy Jack 40+ years but after moving off the farm 15 years ago forgot all about it and began using holistic medications, etc. Well, I do rescue and got a little jack russell with 70% of her body scarlet, oozie red, infected red ears, thick red, hairless legs, tail, chest and face. She had been ill for so long her skin was very thick and discolored. I spent hundred of dollars for 4 months without results then ran across Happy Jack again in the Tractor Supply. I bought mange medicine instead of the dip I had used before and, within 32 (I counted them) hours, her itching has stopped, her skin is now pink not red and her little swollen paws and now a normal size. My dog was scratching constantly causing hot spots an scratches that bled a little not to mention she had this smell that's was offensive. I tried other products and then I heard of this one from a friend, bought it and brought home and put it in a spray bottle to evenly spray her entire body (except in her ears, eyes, mouth or sanitary areas) and to my surprise I Seen instant relief for her and she was able to sleep peacefully and so was I. Horrible to my cat, that is! First let me start by saying that I thought I was adopting a kitten, but I actually got a wee beastie that is part kitten, part mountain goat, part fox, and a tiny bit of dog thrown in. Bought this from Petco on 02182022. Sprayed it on two items our mini dachshund pup has been attacking. The attacks stopped immediately. It has no smell when wet or when dry. One warning: wear rubber gloves when applying! My granddaughter and I both got it on our hands and despite several hand washings, we both got yucked at supper time. Also, spray the items outdoors or in the garage, away from anything that someone might touch. One of the pup's Kong squeaker balls caught some of the overspray. Now she is avoiding ALL her toy balls. Also, while wearing your gloves, wipe off anything that might come in contact with dogs or humans. We sprayed a cheap plastic basket our grandkids were using to store small toys. Even though we dried the basket, the toys still picked up some yuck. The kids hands then got contaminated. And then all kinds of things got yucky. Bought this spray from Petco hoping it would deter my puppy from chewing on furniture, shoes, etc. From just one spray I could taste it in my mouth just from breathing. Got a little on my hands, washed my hands immediately and 2 days later I could still taste it on my hands. I received the chews and immediately gave my puppy 2 of them. She really liked them, she itches. most of the time. But the vet says she needs some type of injection to stop it completely. I don't like to give my puppy any shots but her yearly Injection for rabies. After a week of giving her 2 chews per day as per the instructions I've noticed a big reduction in the amount of her itching. She likes to eat them so apparently they must taste pretty good. Certainly did the trick for my little dog. Usually whines , throws up etc. even a short distance ride in car. Took him on a 2 hour drive and yea no throwing up, no winning and slept on the way home 4 hours later. . I also used pheromone spray when we left and that also contributed to his being calm. ook to our first new groomer in over a decade and a half! (Other groomer had a different oatmeal shampoo she carried… this groomer buys one kind in bulk and special shampoos can be brought in) He did well in terms of the new groomer and this shampoo had NO adverse reactions to the most sensitive poodle of the 4 I've had! However the issues it should treat were not 100% cleared up. And I trust the new groomer to have applied the shampoo as directed. Will use again. I'd say almost perfect but not miraculous!FrugalMommy
I am sure this shampoo would of been nice but the whole order and exsperience with this company was ruined when they shipped my several bottles of shampoo in with treats made from intestines of buffalo that smell like fecal material so strongly it permeates the plastic shampoo bottles. I still can't get the bottles of shampoo I ordered to release the poop smell that premeditated the plastic bottles. So disappointed they where mailed together in same pouch! I had to grow away treats after watching my husband gag, and our dog smelled like poop and the floor area where to treat fell.KRF
Very best natural shampoo on the market. My little morky is allergic to flea bites and if even one gets on her she will start scratching and all her hair starts falling out yntil we do something to get them off her which is usually a pill and a good bath to clean off the eggs this shampoo does exactly what its advertised to do and I hope they never stop making it. Oh and when using it from the start to finish it has a clean fresh kindve minty smell to it and leaves my little morky named sally smelling that way too for several days after her bath. We have two French bulldogs who have destroyed every toy they've ever had. They even destroy these after about two months but we still keep buying them because they are a game changer! Since the first time we bought one about 4 years ago there hasn't been a single night where our dogs haven't spent at least half an hour gnawing on the nub of these toys. We also have been told by our veterinarian that our Frenchie's have the cleanest and healthiest teeth that they have ever seen and we are convinced it is from chewing this toy! They eventually wear them down enough to break pieces off at which point we replace them but we never have less than two in our house at any time. Our one dog even swallowed a huge chunk once which caused a blockage that thankfully he passed before he needed surgery but we still buy them! They are just that great of a toy. I've easily spent over $200 on these toys over the years but it was all worth it!Sean M.
A family member bought this for our 8mnth old rottie as we have a hard time keeping a toy around for 3days. This has lasted 2wks so far with no damage and she plays with it non-stop! We are super happy with this product that we bought two balls for her. I cant believe how durable this toy is and how much she loves it! Never thought of putting treats in it so ill have to try that! I received a Jolly Pets Tough Treader toy for my honest and unbiased review. My pup LOVES the Jolly Pets Tuff Treader! She is able to gnaw on it, toss it, tug it, and chase it. It quickly became a household favorite and has proven itself to be strong and durable. My dog is a 67 lbs power chewer, but she hasn't been able to chew into and destroy this because the material is tough. She tends to play with it a lot more than she gnaws/chews on it, but so far the toy has been great for both activities! Love these kits. I have the small kit that I keep in my truck at all times and then a larger kit that I always have with me when on big hikes as well as in my off-grid camping trailer. With 3 dogs, all of which have health issues (and are magnets for trouble) this is a must. The only thing I wish was different was I wish these bags were insulated and a little bigger to leave space for meds that you may need/want to add for your specific pup. I have to carry some meds for all three of my monsters and in the summer it gets crazy hot. Having insulation to keep them more temperature-controlled would be a nice addition.FifinellaCA
Nice kit to have when I take my dog on hikes with me. But…. discovered that the hydrogen peroxide packet leaked and ruined everything else in the kit. The leak proof bag kept everything inside safe from the elements but not from itself! Will replace some of the contents but not the peroxide. Very disappointing.Paul
I received this product a couple of weeks ago and it has came in handy for our camping gear. I have three adventurous dogs who love the outdoors. I have had to rig up bandages and gear for them but this is so much better. Each product in this kit is well thought out for what you may need for a camping or hiking trip with your dogs. I may not need all of it at once but it gives me peace of mind knowing that it is right there at the ready if I do need it. Each product seems durable which is necessary with these type of items. The bag also comes in handy to store everything and keep it in a safe place that is also easily accessible. It is pretty light and has handles which makes it nice for clipping on to my dogs hiking vest. I am also pleased with the first aid handbook because sometimes I am not sure what to do in certain instances. Overall, this product is great if you are active with your dogs and is easy to just keep in the car.ccbell94
