I have used Happy Jack 40+ years but after moving off the farm 15 years ago forgot all about it and began using holistic medications, etc. Well, I do rescue and got a little jack russell with 70% of her body scarlet, oozie red, infected red ears, thick red, hairless legs, tail, chest and face. She had been ill for so long her skin was very thick and discolored. I spent hundred of dollars for 4 months without results then ran across Happy Jack again in the Tractor Supply. I bought mange medicine instead of the dip I had used before and, within 32 (I counted them) hours, her itching has stopped, her skin is now pink not red and her little swollen paws and now a normal size. I will continue to use according to the directions to make sure this is gone but might switch to the dip to treat her in 30 day cycles. My dog was scratching constantly causing hot spots an scratches that bled a little not to mention she had this smell that's was offensive. It has never sat right with me that she doesn’t actually like the food and only eats it to get full. I have been researching for a long time different foods and what ingredients are bad or good and I went to a pet store to actually get a different food but they didn’t have it and I ran across this one. As soon as I saw the first few ingredients I knew that it would be great for her. I just gave her her first scoop of it and she literally ate it all within 5 minutes. She absolutely love it and I love that she can enjoy her food and not just eat it because she’s hungry. I will most definitely be buying this again!

Well, the list of healthy ingredients in ORIJEN Small Breed goes on and on. It’s impressive! First on the list is deboned turkey followed by deboned chicken, quail, eggs, whole blue whiting, whole Atlantic mackerel and so much more!! It has 85% quality ingredients with 2/3 fresh or raw and 1/3 dried. It’s never out sourced and made in the good old USA. I purchased a bag on the recommendation of a Petco Rep in store. I was having trouble finding Royal Canin due to their shortage. I bought a bag. I began by mixing the two brands together to ease my doggies into the new food. We are currently in week 2 and so far they are doing very well with the brand. They actually eat ALL of their meal! I have 3 Yorkies who are quite picky when it comes to their food. I would recommend Orijen to other Yorkie owners (small breed product). I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. Im not a vet but am thinking whatever it was it was some type of fungal infection. Benefits of product; it wasnt expensive, was easy to apply, and has a light pleasant scent.Debbie
I am so thankful to have found this today! My poor dog could not stop scratching and licking under his front legs, and they were raw and bleeding. He was whimpering but would not stop. I came home and sprayed the areas with this, and he didn’t freak out like I thought so I know it didn’t hurt! He became calm and only tried to lick a few times before he relaxed and rested. My 7 week old tri color bully has vomited in his third day at our house, I googled and saw it said it’s normal for pups to do this sometimes, no worries. Two days later early morning(6:50am EST) he vomited then about 10 minutes later he pooped out about 8 long worms, found they were Roundworms. I immediately went to Meijer and grabbed two boxes of this 7 Way De-Wormer for Small Dogs and gave him a tablet which he happily chomped down. He passed loads of dead worms in each stool that day(like twice). The next morning his belly wasn’t bloated anymore but he wouldn’t eat much but drank water. By the evening he was felling great and back running through the house, he passed about 3-4 live worms in 2 of his 3 stools that day, the third stool had no worms! On the third day there were no more worms in his stool but I gave him the other tablet because I saw a very good vet recommend one deworming tablet day one, a second on day three then again in two weeks. It’s day 6 and he’s been worm free for going on 3 days! It says not to use til 12 weeks on the box, however if your pup is over 6 lbs then I think its okay to use. My little girl is a pit and catahoula mix and shes only about 7-8 weeks old and she handled the dewormer very well. She passed a HUGE tapeworm 🤢 we decided to deworm her due to tape worm segments being passed every so often which is absolutely gross. It took a little over 24 hours for her to pass everything. This is the single most effective and affordable dewormer for dogs. I will recommend this dewormer to everyone and use it for any puppies that I have in the future. Liquid dewormer from the feed store has NOTHING on this stuff and my puppy wanted to eat more of the tablet so I guess it was good. Seriously, get this for your pet you will not regret it.Sara
These worked right away for my 12 pound 1 year old dog. It took overnight to see the results. I snuck it into a chewy treat before bedtime and he didn’t notice it at all since they are super small. After receiving only 1 of the 2 pills (give second pill 2-3 months later for lasting results), he didn’t have anymore worms coming out of his poop and randomly out of his butt. He was constipated for about two weeks to a month and I don’t know if it had anything to do with the worms or the pill but he’s never had that issue before. It was a pretty quick fix by switching out his food temporarily for soft/watery food. Do not think twice about getting it for them as it is life threatening to wait too long for a vet visit. My avid little mouser cat caught herself a little prize just a few days before a month-prior planned trip my husband and i were unavoidably about to go to. Apparently that mouse had bitten her back in the process, right on her tender little lip cleft! Before we knew it, that bite had gotten infected so bad she became lethargic, her face swollen an angry shade of red, she could not eat or even drink on her own and she could not even close her mouth and was drooling on herself. Because of the covid situation and proximity of timing to our trip to see family, there was no way to get her to a vet in time before we had to leave in 3-4 days. So we did the best we could with a dropper to feed and water her and rushed out to get Vetericyn to help stave off the infection which reduced the angry redness to a healthier pinkish. We did cut our weekend trip short by a day out of concern for her, but when we came back she was doing significantly better in that the swelling was down, but was reddened again. Using this for hot spots on my canine, this stuff does work but it sometimes can take up to 2 8oz. Bottles to heal the area's treated. Not sure if it's the strength of medicine or just those stubborn spots. I caught the spots early on and started treating them immediately and have been treating them for a month now and they are getting better but slowly, these things are stubborn. I can say that absolutely nothing else I tried worked. Believe it or not, I read online the other day that rubbing Pepto Bismol on hot spots actually works, you heard right, Pepto Bismol. I haven't had the nerve to try it as I thought it could just be some nut trying to infect your pet even worse. My 5 months Pomeranian didn't bother trying one! He looked at it, carefully smelled, and just walked away. tried several times and he is not interested at all. Ingredient looks good to me, but my big concern is the size of the food, it's much larger than other all breed puppy foods! my other puppy's food (Huskey) is smaller than Baby Blue "Small Breed" dog food, how are they supposed to chew this hard large food? I think something went wrong while they were designing or maybe at the production, they didn't follow the instruction! because I still don't believe this was meant to be this large! I hope someone at General Mills/blue buffalo will read this review and reconsider their design. See the picture to clearly compare the size, luckily I had some other food to compare because I have 2 puppies.

We used this product on our grand dog. He was a scaly, crusty mess and had lost most of his hair. We took him to the vet and put him a regimen of medicated shampoo, oral antibiotics and an immunomodulator. We used the Skin Soother immediately after his daily bath. We also have him the salmon treats daily. I believe this product helped him regain his health. His color came back and all the scales and itching were gone. So I bought another. My pug had a dark bald spot on his neck from scratching and I was looking for something that would hopefully heal the area and let his hair grow back. I discovered the skin soother and decided to give it a try and this worked like magic! I ordered the 2 oz stick version and loved it. The application was great. It was very easy and clean to apply overall. I applied it to the area twice a day for two weeks before I was able to start seeing results. The hair started growing back and the dark skin was lightening up and becoming less dry and flaky. At the same time, my dog was scratching at it less so that was a plus. Only thing is this stick was practically gone by my second week. It would not have come close to lasting the month. That being said, I had to order another to see continued results but I ordered the larger tin instead. My only issue with this product is the tin is a lot harder to apply. The texture itself is not as soft and smooth as the stick. I also had to use my own hands to spread it on which I did not like at all. It also gets messy in the tin as my pug sheds so there is now hair stuck in the product. My recommendation to the company would be to have the stick in a larger option and I would gladly purchase that. However, currently I greatly regret purchasing two of the tins instead of the smaller sticks. All in all, this product works and I would buy it again! My puppy was delivered about 9 weeks old. Started feeding food I had for puppies. Didn't eat then and on to food breeder had fed first and didn't eat. Went to pet store and they suggested Royal Cannine. I though a little expensive but came home with it. CoCo dived in and began eating. I have since then fed to my 2 1/2 year old Shih Tzu. They love it and are doing great with their new food. I will continue to purchase R C. One great food for Shih Tzu's is the size and shape of the food for the puppy with a small mouth. We started to feed Lukkas with Pedigree (puppy) when he was 3 months old and suddenly we noticed that he is not happy when eating it then we decided to ask a Vet for suggestion and he advised us to have a Holistic Lamb puppy food instead. However, still Lukkas doesn't seem to be happy everytime we serve his food. I've went online and go through some sites to know what's the best food for him because everytime he looks sad, it usually breaks our heart to see him like that. I have read some reviews about Royal Canin and it makes me decide to have it just for a try to see if there will be a change. I bought a 1.5kg Royal Canin for shih Tzu puppy in a mall and when I got home, I tried to feed him a little bit to see his reaction about his new food and we were surprised to see how happy he is. That's the time we decided to buy Royal Canin for Lukkas even though we have to spend more this time. Until now, it never fails me to see how happy he is and weight, fur changed as well. I switched to this food at the advice of my veterinarian. He always has a happy, healthy, demeanor. His poops are firm and easily picked up. He eats the food no problem. I really like these but they are kind of pricey. My dog eats them right up but I wish they sold more of them in the one box. I usually buy the box of 12 but you can buy these individually as well. There good for on the go or travel too. I used to buy the little cans when my dog was a lot smaller but then switched to these because the portion is bigger. They’re easy to serve and have a good amount of food in them. My dog gets so happy when she sees me about to serve her this. It looks much better than some other brands out there that look like blended mush. This product has squares of meat and the veggies are visible. I pair with their dry food and feed this every other day. I leave the dry food available at all times. You can mix together or serve separately whatever your doggy prefers. I have tried both ways and she eats them either way.amanda.v
