We live in Panama City Florida and currently displaced from hurricane Michael and our black lab is kenneled due to our situation at the moment. My daughter has the most hard time being separated from our dog. My daughter got this dog when she was 9 months old…she's now 6.5 and it's her "dog". They are super soft and fluffy initially, really cozy to snuggle with. The best quality stuffed animal we have ever encountered, as we find with all the jellycat brand stuffies. We have washed it several times and it's still going, although much less white, fluffy or well shaped – partly my fault as I didn't realize I should put it in a bag (I bought the Gund wash bag eventually and it's made a huge difference). I would highly recommend this dog as compared to other friends/family's animals for how much *love* (read: snuggling, playing, pretending it's a catch toy, used as a pillow, etc.) this dog has gotten from my daughter it's held up extremely well and has no bare spots or worn out areas.sunshyneo8

We live in Panama City Florida and currently displaced from hurricane Michael and our black lab is kenneled due to our situation at the moment. My daughter has the most hard time being separated from our dog. She wrote a letter to Santa saying alk she wanted for Christmas was a stuffed animal that looked like her dog that she could cuddle with till we can find a home. I looked everywhere I could think of to try to finger her a stuffed animal that looked close to our Stella till I came across this online. When she opened this and seen what it was she cried she was so happy that she got this little puppy since the hurricane she only gets to see our dog in short visits. I was so thankful that I was able to find this.
My 6 years old grandson got this cute playmate from grandma as one of his Christmas gift. That became immediately his favorite and cutest one of all. My daughter got this dog when she was 9 months old…she's now 6.5 and it's her "dog". They are super soft and fluffy initially, really cozy to snuggle with. The best quality stuffed animal we have ever encountered, as we find with all the jellycat brand stuffies. We have washed it several times and it's still going, although much less white, fluffy or well shaped – partly my fault as I didn't realize I should put it in a bag (I bought the Gund wash bag eventually and it's made a huge difference). I would highly recommend this dog as compared to other friends/family's animals for how much *love* (read: snuggling, playing, pretending it's a catch toy, used as a pillow, etc.) this dog has gotten from my daughter it's held up extremely well and has no bare spots or worn out areas.sunshyneo8
I’ve gifted both of my children a Jellycat on their first Easter for their first stuffed animals. Their Jellycats are SO soft and perfectly weighted. My oldest’s stuffed dragon has held up beautifully to over three years of constant use. My infant has the bashful yellow duck and it’s charming. We love Jellycat!
Yes, this is the softest stuffed animal maybe ever. TBD how it maintains texture after washing. The photo of the medium shows it 13” tall next to the dog SEATED. This thing is BARELY 13” long when it’s stretched out, seated it’s about 8”. I actually question if I got the small when I ordered the medium, but the tag says medium. I was planning to return it until my son saw it, stole it from me and fell in love. I guess we’re keeping the lil’ guy.CFRD
