Our lab is a destructive chewer and had already gnawed right through several toys when Chopper & Otis was recommended to us. The Big Dawg Dumbbell (extra large size) was the first toy we bought, and he was an immediate fan. It is quite heavy, but the rubber bounces multiple times, even when tossed gently. The breeder we got our Staffordshire Bull Terrier from mentioned her dogs love this particular toy so much! I bought one and so did the other 4 littermates! All of them this is a favorite toy. So my French Bulldog really loves his large Kong pacifier treat dispenser. And you don't even have to put treats in it for him to carry it around. It's very durable considering that usually he is able to tear up any kind of toys with in about a minute or less. Got got it from PetSmart for about seven or eight $10 somewhere in between that. Usually he'll carry all his toys outside or try to but this one he purposefully leaves in side so that way he doesn't lose it. And he looks so adorable whenever he actually has it in the correct way. I bought the large dumbbell toy for my Staffordshire Bull Terrier to play with and the brand Kong are mostly indestructible. Shell play and chew on it for hours. She's managed to chew off the yellow outer skin on one of the dumbbells. But not destroyed it, yet! I'll only let my young girl have soft toys to play with it when supervised though as I left her with two kong toys she'd had for Christmas day. I have to start off by saying this was Enzos favorite toy of all!! He absolutely loved it. Picked out from the rest the moment he saw it. It's not as strong as I would like it to be be but I found it to be affordable for the size and quality of the product . Every baby boomer remembers the Shari Lewis show with Lamb Chop and the Sock Monkey. I have a dear, dear friend whose husband was dying of cancer. Someone sent him Lamb Chop, and I sent him the Sock Monkey. She spent about one year of her life living in St. Louis, MO to be near him. He died 5 years ago and she married a childhood friend. Adorable and ENORMOUS!! I didn't really look at the size very carefully when I was ordering this, though. Our German Shepherd absolutely LOVES these Lamb Chop toys and he has gone through about a dozen of them in the smaller versions (medium sized and small sized.) He spends a day or two carrying each of them around (when they're new) and squeaking them like crazy while they're still intact, and then moves on to tearing them apart to get to the squeaker. He then plays fetch (all by himself) with the squeaker – tossing it up in the air, etc. He also likes to cart around the "carcass" and play with that until we end up finding various Lamb Chop "parts" (head, leg, etc.) all over the house. We just throw them away quietly, little by little/piece by piece. This is a great dog toy, but if your dog likes to rip the stuffing out of them, then be prepared on this version as there is a LOT of it!! š I would buy it again in a heartbeat but my husband has had enough stuffing clean-up to last him a while… Still – this one is HIGH quality and we give our highest recommendations!Shadowcat

The Turnip Rubber Throw Toy has been a daily part of our family's life for at least 3 years. We have a Mini Australian Shepherd definitely high energy. He is absolutely A Ruff Wear dog but his pet Mom is not. So his exercise is early morning walks and at least 2 hours of the mighty Turnip Toss everyday. I bought this for my dog for Christmas and it's the best toy he's ever had. He goes through toys like crazy, they always break and rip and are a danger to him because of small pieces. This toy is super strong and safe for him. I have a pure breed German Shepard fully grown. I take it with us everywhere we go. He never leaves without it. It funs for me and him to play with and it's now starting to tear in the middle but barely. Super strong. Best toy ever for him, I highly recommend this product for extra large and super strong dogs. To say my dog is an "extreme chewer" is a understatement. Fortunately for us he has been focused on his toys/chew toys. He has SUPER STRONG jaws for a lab. I can literally spin him in circles in the air with his jaws locked on a toy. I havent been able to find a toy he doesnt destroy in 5min-1day. He goes through a 8 point buck antler in a month. Have small 20lb terrier & 40lb coonhound puppy & both seem to love the squeak & soft plushy nubs of this chew toy. Unfortunately it did not last a week with them. Bottle got crushed & became permanently misshapen by day 3 from their chewing while the head was semi-decapitated & stuffing removed by day 5. Wish it was worth replacing with another used non-squeaky water bottle but its not. Assuming within 1 more week it will be completely destroyed & will have to throw away.LoriN

Recently purchased the Barbour Pheasent Dog Toy for our new puppy. He was as excited about its arrival as I was. Unpacked and gifted it with love, Monty played with it for all of about 10 minutes before puncturing the pheasant's neck and putting a huge hole in it and then deciding to take all of the stuffing out which I quickly needed to retrieve and fish out of his month before swallowing I appreciate dog toys not to be indestructible however not even lasting 24 hours was not good for the price I had paid. I would have expected that the quality from Barbour was a little better than your standard Pets at home toysDominic D.

My dog loves this toy. Itās very squeaky, so we only let him have it when we donāt mind the noise. It bounces a lot of hard floors so he doesnāt know where itās going to go. Itās pretty tough, my dog can destroy any toy and it takes him longer than most to tear this one apart.Shelly76
