It looks like a great dog halter. This is the third halter I ve gotten for my cairn terrier mix. This one looks like he might not be able to escape. Unfortunately, it is way too small for my dog. There is only one size smaller, and I expect it is too big, also. The receipt was illegible, and I have no idea how to send the halter back. I plan to donate it to the animal shelter. I am still looking for a halter he won t escape from.

The harness isn't working for me but I can't send it back. My dog is a male and the back strap rides directly over his, uh, spout. He soaked it pretty good the first time out so we have to keep it. But he didn't like it either – it is pretty heavy and made him overheat. Might work for winter but I have to figure out how to modify the back strap so he can pee free.

The sewing areas on the undercarriage where it is against Rocky's skin is rough, where the outside for the designs for people to see is smooth. Well sewn pieces of dog gear, but the use of them is not actually feasible. The rear harness is sloppy once you get it onto the dog. The size we ordered, per the instructions on the sales site, makes my dog like a sloppy joe in a too big bun. It is not a harness with long enough handles to wear over my shoulder as I walk him–as it was pictured and advertised to be. The handles are only long enough to hold, like a suitcase. It is therefore, a lot of work for the human with a 65 pound wily dog. The design is not great, and it is not useful at all. When you put this into the cart, the fabric twists because it's not engineered well. Do not buy from Handicapped Pets. Have someone sew you something that fits the dog and works.Jennifer P.
