It’s very clever actually and easy enough for little fingers to manage. The music is be-boppin and speeds up when you push it faster, and works on a motion detector of some sort. I only wish for the love of parents that it had an on off switch. I bought this toy for my little french bull dogs first birthday. Seeing it capabilities online I was immediately impressed and intrigued with self play and the balls ability to get out from under areas the dog might have trouble with since my girlfriend is in her studies from home and her work is constantly interrupted from our dog whining about a ball trapped under somewhere. This product seemed to be perfect. I ordered it. Within a week I see cheerble is now advertising a new version of the ball, felt like I missed out on a new improved design but was eager to see what the wicked ball W1 still had to offer. The ball showed up two weeks after and both my pet and I were excited. I got it out of the packaging read the manual and gave it to my French bull dog eager to play. She immediately took to it and could tell she was obsessed. This seemed all too good to be true. And it was…. In less than ten minutes our Frenchie had managed to get the clear plastic ring from the centre apart from the shell and dismantle the shell….maybe I should have got a replacement one but don't believe I should have to pay $10 to give my dog 10minutes of play… That is not sustainable living… Not for us anyways… Perhaps the new design is more durable but after spending $60+ for a ball after tax and shipping that couldn't withstand a 25lb pup I'm not to eager to dish it out again…. This ball was amazing at first. First day I used it my frenchie was obsessed however 10 mins in, I notice a piece was already broken off. Customer support was super nice and sent me a new shell with no problem, however when it arrived and I went to use it again, the shell wouldn’t close fully so it wouldn’t work. Like it was always lose fitting and after 10 seconds of playing, the shell was fully open. I got the shell to my apartment at school so by the time I was able to give it to my dog was about a month after I had received it so I never put in another request for a new one as I had no way to prove that it didn’t work since day 1. I’m hoping I was just unlucky as this was an amazing idea for a product that I loved when it did work, I’m just sad I spent so so much money for it to not work on me twice. I bought this toy for my little french bull dogs first birthday. Seeing it capabilities online I was immediately impressed and intrigued with self play and the balls ability to get out from under areas the dog might have trouble with since my girlfriend is in her studies from home and her work is constantly interrupted from our dog whining about a ball trapped under somewhere. This product seemed to be perfect. I ordered it. Within a week I see cheerble is now advertising a new version of the ball, felt like I missed out on a new improved design but was eager to see what the wicked ball W1 still had to offer. The ball showed up two weeks after and both my pet and I were excited. I got it out of the packaging read the manual and gave it to my French bull dog eager to play. She immediately took to it and could tell she was obsessed. This seemed all too good to be true. And it was…. In less than ten minutes our Frenchie had managed to get the clear plastic ring from the centre apart from the shell and dismantle the shell….maybe I should have got a replacement one but don't believe I should have to pay $10 to give my dog 10minutes of play… That is not sustainable living… Not for us anyways… Perhaps the new design is more durable but after spending $60+ for a ball after tax and shipping that couldn't withstand a 25lb pup I'm not to eager to dish it out again…. Afterall $120 would get me alot of balls that would last longerSean H.

Customer support was super nice and sent me a new shell with no problem, however when it arrived and I went to use it again, the shell wouldn’t close fully so it wouldn’t work. Like it was always lose fitting and after 10 seconds of playing, the shell was fully open. I got the shell to my apartment at school so by the time I was able to give it to my dog was about a month after I had received it so I never put in another request for a new one as I had no way to prove that it didn’t work since day 1. I’m hoping I was just unlucky as this was an amazing idea for a product that I loved when it did work, I’m just sad I spent so so much money for it to not work on me twice. Very cheaply made product. Bought this for my nephew and he loved it and was entertained by it but I noticed when the dog was turned on he moved his head up and down so when you go to pick the dog up by the body (back) your fingers can be hit by the head moving up which can hurt and it did LOL. It may not be safe for really young kids as the mechanical parts, especially on the head and legs, do not have much padding. Little fingers might get stuck in some places which would hurt a ton. I prefer toys that require some sort of interaction rather than those items that seem do everything while the child watches. This walking puppy does his own stuff but still requires interaction from the operator. What’s more is how he provokes our kiddo’s imagination. She talks and treats the toy as if it was real. Thus far, it seems to be well-built and can handle being dragged when the child wants to go faster than the puppy walks. It is soft and adorable, just like a real puppy! This is a really cute puppy and a really cute idea but I do think it needs a longer leash attached to it because the puppy can't take more than a few steps before the child has to take steps just to keep up with it. I like how it has only two buttons which makes it very simple for a small young child but the button that makes it walk didn't always work on ours. Sometimes you had to push it 2 or 3 times before it would start to walk, but the button that makes it bark and wag its tail works every time and it was so adorable. If it was just a little more realistic I might have considered trading my (real) puppy in for it LOL. At least I don't have to feed this one or take It outside to potty and clean up after its messes. I really do like this puppy and I hope that it comes in more color variations so that kids can pick whichever puppy they like the best instead of having only one to choose from. The kids really liked it but my real puppy was unsure what to make of it. I think it should also come with some kind of brush or comb so that kids can practice grooming the animal as well. That may give them a little something to do when the parents are tired of hearing the barking, yapping and tail wagging. All in all I do recommend this puppy for young children. I have a 2 year old, 4 year old, and 5 1/2 year old. They all love this furry puppy friend. Even the 2 year old can make the buttons work. He's tough enough to handle their play so far. He's soft. And he's a decent size although not large. However, there are two concerns. 1) He is attached to the controller by a thin plastic leash. When the kids fight over him there is a tendency for one kid to pull the controller and the other the dog. So far he has not come apart and I stop them doing this as soon as it starts. But I wonder how many times that could happen before something comes apart and he can no longer be used. 2) We curves to the right quite a bit when he walks. He does not walk in a straight line but veers to the right. This makes it inconvenient to follow after him. I don't know if this is intended, for him to make a large roughly 5 foot circle, or if ours is defective. I'd rather him go in a straight line. Other than that, he's a decent toy and the kids love him. He isn't super loud, but his bark can get annoying and is easily heard, but that's much like any other kid toy that they play with non-stop.Amy
