After having tried several different harnesses for our first puppy, all without much success, my husband, on a jaunt to see a friend, called into a pet store, (killing time). He walked out with an Ezydog chest plate harness. Perfect, did the job and is still going strong. Needless to say when we got our second puppy, it went without saying that she would have an Ezydog harness too. As she had a purple collar we got her a purple harness and it's great. Firm yet well fitting and comfortable, ideal either in the car or for use with her lead. This Harness has saved my sanity. It DEFINITELY cuts back on ALOT of the pulling for me. My puppy is very strong and weighs 125 pounds at 7 months old. He’s in adolescent mode. Walking was a nightmare before. Thank you for your clever invention that is so well made and not cheap and flimsy at ALL!!! I looked at other harnesses elsewhere. It is very difficult to purchase a properly fitting harness for my dog. He is not broad shouldered and has a long, somewhat narrow torso relative to his overall size. I decided to follow the sizing chart and it fits him very well. The harness is a bit lower profile than others he has had previously, but it's easily the best fitting one he's had to this point.

This Voyager dog harness is great for my pup! I am training him to walk on a leash and this is so helpful so that I don’t pull on his neck. I got the size XXS for him as he was 4 lbs. He is now almost 8 lbs and it still fits him but I am going to buy another one in a bigger size so I can keep it until he is fully grown. They are adjustable so I will probably get size Small. I abdolutely feel in love with this harness (by far the easiest to get onto my puppy). I love is so much that I jought 6 of them in the past 4 months. Why did I need to buy so many one may ask…becauae that is how many the puppy chewed through in that period of time. I ended up switching brands after the 6th one. I love this harness! Expecially for my 115 pound doberman. The Petsafe EasySport harness doesn't pull against his throat and have him hacking and coughing when he wants to run off. I have a Dachshund who has a shallow chest and I couldn't find a harness she couldn't walk out of. A family member had this harness for two dogs and I thought I would try it because it was more snug around the neck. Works like a charm!! I ordered a XS online, but it was too small. Nicely made and dog can't back out if properly fitted. Sizing is a bit weird. My chihuahua mix and fox terrier wear the same size, but my rat terrier wears the next size up. Neck size is important. The girth size has more flexibility. Good for dogs that don't pull too hard and the handle is nice to grab a dog. Not to be worn full time, but for an escape artist it would be good for day time wear. My dogs are between 10 and 25 lbs. Very handy overall.TBHorseowner

Purchased Halti harness as last resort to control large pup. Due to urgent surgery at 12 weeks of age and essential crating post-operative 24/7 (except for toilet breaks) for 5 weeks following her procedure, the critical period of training unfortunately couldn't be completed during this time frame. Once able to commence training, she had grown significantly, was very strong and strong willed … finding a harness / lead to assist with her training was difficult until stumbling across the Halti harness. For her, this has proven to be the most successful in controlling and assisting with her training … certainly working for my husband and I, and our dog.Sue
Bought this product for a 7 month old puppy that is still learning to walk on lead and pulls so badly on a flat collar that she starts to choke herself. Fitting of the harness was very easy and adjusting the straps very simple. The inclusion of the clasp that attaches to the collar is a very good idea as it helps center the front of the harness as well as a safety precaution if the harness comes loose. I was suprised by how well the harness worked, there was no pulling right from the start. When my puppy gets over-excited (e.g. sees another dog) she attempts to pull but is easily controlled compared to the flat collar. I find the straps need readjusting fairly regularly and as they get loose the harness becomes less effective. This could be overcome by stitching in place at correct adjustment but as my dog is still growing I don't want to do that just yet. Overall I am very happy with the harness and it suits my purpose of continuing to train my dog to walk calmly on lead without her pulling so hard that she is choking herself and possible causing damage.08cactus
Purchased this for our rescue red heeler who had never been walked on a lead at 16 months old. He pulled constantly and walks were unbearable. The first few walks seemed to be improving and now (even with all straps tightened and adjusted to fit) the front point connection slips around to the side of his neck so it loses all benefits of being a front pull harness and he's pulling as bad as ever! We use the rabbitgoo harness with our double doodle Finn. Walking his 85lb self has its moments, he likes to walk you. The harness has a double clip option. One on the chest and one on the back along with a grab handle which is great on my narrow streets when cars pass. It is super adjustable. A size large is more than adequate for our big dog. Really great product! Affordable, and heavy duty for large pups like mine! I got a large for my short but stock mastiff and fits enough that it doesn’t cut off her circulation.
