This was a life saver. My pug is 15 and needs help getting up and down from couch. It has 3 positions so it is not steep for an older dog to use. It is ready to use right out of the box. Looks like a nice piece of furniture. It is not to long and can be used in the smallest spaces. The carpet like material on the ramp, also has slip resistant material on it (like what is on the bottom of socks). The dogs love it and it does not bother their feet. When going down the ramp, they can go as slow as needed and not slide down. I highly recommend this product. It will not work with really high beds or trucks unless you add to it. But it is perfect for anything else including cars (if needed) It is very light and easy to move around. It is very sturdy and does not move when dogs are using it. Even my younger dog loves it and she is scared of everything. The first day we got it we used treats to get them to use it. I only took a few minutes and they loved it. We had foam stairs before this but my older dog was still having issues using it. Because of the material of the stairs, when going down, it would force her to go fast and slide. This does not do that and allows them to go as slow as possible (I know I repeated this but it truly makes a difference for an older or injured dog/cat.)Nic

Just purchased this for my 70 pound elderly dog who has difficulty getting into and out of the car. I would have loved to keep this because of how well it was made, but it just didn't fit into the door opening of our new Equinox. Unfortunately the door didn't open wide enough. Also it wasn't long enough to use in the back lift gate. It was just too steep. Would be great in a regular car, but SUV's seem to be too far off the ground.Jodi
This is a nice sturdy ramp. I believe it may work well for vans but, with both of our cars (Chevy Malibu and Nissan Altima) the ramp does not have a level place to set it on. Our Golden Retriever tried it on both cars but it was to unsteady for her. I was very happy and a little surprised at how easy it was to return the product. I had been looking and researching for something for my two dogs that are 11 years in age and having trouble getting on and off our bed. I knew stairs wasn't an option so I got one of these wood bedside ramps and I absolutely love it. I like the ribbed carpet that covers it and that makes my dogs feel more secure when using it. I like how it is angled to run the length of my bed and having a tall bed isn't an issue since it has a height of 25 inches. It was very easy to assemble only took me a few minutes and all hardware for assembly was included. It is very easy to keep clean and I can easily move it into our living room during the day so my dogs can have access to the couch if needed. The weight limit is 120 lbs so I dont worry about it tipping over when my dogs are running up and down. The only thing is on wood floors, it will slide as in our living room, but we use a blanket underneath it and this sovled the problem. As long as it helps my dogs and gives them the ability to continue living a easy life, it is well worth it. The instructions for assembling the ramp were easy to follow, but I would prefer less assembling. The ramp seems very sturdy, especially for my 10-pound dog. He has no problem going up, but is hesitant coming down. With some treats placed on the ramp, he walked down without hesitation. Our 4 month old puppy was approaching 50 lbs. The stairs on the back deck are very narrow-making it difficult for her to learn to learn to go down. Carrying her was unsafe especially in ice and snow. This is the perfect ramp for getting my 70lb Lab in and out of the truck. She is a little skeptical of going up it but comes down with ease. I just need to work and praise on the up step. It is light and portable and fits our needs just right. We had a plastic one for the last few years and it gave out and snapped in half. Our 9 year old Siberian Husky recently tore her ACL doing her "happy dance" for the neighbor lady that gives her treats. At first I picked her up and took her outside and back inside, as well as in the vehicle and out of the vehicle to her doctors appointment. I have a senior dog, who in his youth, loved jumping around everywhere! He has the longest legs of any dog I have ever seen and was able to leap on and off the sofa at will. However, now that he is nearing 16 years of age, he is unable to get on and off the sofa without us lifting him up and down. We are not always around to be able to help; therefore, we decided to purchase these steps. We are so glad we did as they work great! This unit is easy to assemble right out of box and lightweight to move around. Our dog is now able to get on and off the sofa as needed to nap or cuddle! The steps arrived in two pieces. It only took a moment to assemble them. After a thorough sniff, the Yorkie curled up on the first step, and fell asleep. I can tell you the fabric is attractive, and super soft! The foam steps are apparently comfortable enough to sleep on, as well as the right size for climbing onto the couch. Love this product! Shipping was fast and it came in a big box without any dents or anything. It came in two pieces. You have to put the foam on top of the first step but its a no brainer. It was super easy to put together. The foam is super soft but firm too. Our cats love it and so does my 1 year old. It holds his weight pretty good. My dogs are both pretty big, with both weighing around 110 pounds and sometimes it is harder for them to jump up into my families vehicles. I am so glad to own this now, as it makes travel time so much easier and much more streamlined. Instead of taking several minutes trying to lift them into my truck, I am able to easily take out the ramp and set it up and have them walk up the ramp in a minute or so. I love that this ramp folds up and doesn't take up a lot of room as I store it in my trunk. Having it in my trunk makes it so much easier to just load my dogs up and go for an adventure or to take them to their appointments. My husband threw his hip out, so this ramp has been a huge help to me personally. I needed one of these for my dog who just happened to have surgery on his hip. This ramp made is easier for him to get in and out of the truck safely without injuring himself after surgery. Easy to set up and is not very heavy which is a huge plus. This would work for almost any breed of dog in my opinion as its fairly sturdy and is large. Great for senior pets, or even pets who are nervous about getting in and out of vehicles. Or also perfect for your pet after having a surgery like mine. Appears to be sturdy enough. It would be nicer if it had a carry handle, and the latch that is supposed to hold it together from unfolding is useless. I thought the “sandpaper” surface would not bother my dog; but I was wrong. It’s not so much a gritty surface like sandpaper, but tiny plastic bristles—one of which stuck painfully in my finger, so I understand her reluctance to use it. I tried covering it with a rug runner, but after her first experience, my dog doesn’t want anything to do with it. So, I may try again later with a rug on it and see if she will use it. I got it to use for getting into the car as well as for use in the house. It’s as transportable as anything its size, but a handle and an effective latch would improve portability.FLMeemaw

Poor “Duncan” was adopted from a rescue almost two years ago, then relinquished when the adopters got a job offer in a different state, and they decided they didn’t want to include him in their new life. The rescue, which specializes in Duncan’s much-maligned breed, contacted me to see if I could give this sweet old Doggo a home for his twilight days. At his age and considering his breed, if I didn’t adopt him he was doomed to be a “sanctuary” doggo, spending his remaining life in a cage, all alone. I decided I had to give him a chance. When I brought him home it was clear he’d been neglected: he didn’t know how to play with toys, he avoided me and even tentatively nipped my hand in fear. I gave him time to decompress, and within a week he was like a pupper again, showing spirit and affection. He even started asking for belly rubs! Because this is a very social breed, I wanted to give Duncan access to the daybed so he can easily climb up to snuggle and snooze with me. I considered building a ramp, but wanted only the best for this Doggo. After researching online, I decided DoggoRamps was definitely the way to go! After reading how this ramp was built specifically for smaller Doggos, seeing the gradual incline and the grippy surface, I knew it would work well for my sweet boy. I have a paraplegic cat who climbs (and jumps out of) everything in the house, I already intended to find some kind of ramp to try and preserve my sheets from those sharp claws, but then once we changed our boxed bed to a wood one, he became unable to climb on the bed by his own, which was SO TRAGIC. Then we found the doggoramps and it was immediately my favorite option, we researched some more for good measure and came back to this one and purchased it. It arrived on time and it was *everything* we expected. It is very well made, with quality sturdy HEAVY wood, very stable even without the stability anchor. Beautifully finished, the white one complimented our white bed in a way that is just such a nice bonus ('cause we wouldn't have prevented Onyx from climbing on the bed even if it was ugly). And you no what, I have a sample size of 2 (my paraplegic cat and my able-bodied one) but we didn't even need to train them! Just put them on the ramp one time to show them, helped Onyx up one time 'cause he was a bit insecure and BAM, Onyx now only ever goes up *and* down from the bed using the ramp and even Luci, our able bodied cat uses the ramp more often than not. I want to let everyone know how awesome your service is. I received the initial order of 2 small dog ramps extremely fast. The one ramp I opened had been damaged due to shipping. I took pictures of the damaged ramp with my iPhone & sent an email to DoggoRamps with pictures attached. I called & they sent me a reply email telling me what my options were regarding the damaged ramp. I was so impressed how easy it was getting the ramp returned and getting a new replacement. It all happened so fast & extremely efficient! The customer service was outstanding!! I have a very high bed & have not been able to find a ramp high enough for my bed. I have a 2yo Maltipoo who’s 14lbs & I have a very bad back & needed a ramp for him to be able to get on & off the bed. I had been looking and researching for something for my two dogs that are 11 years in age and having trouble getting on and off our bed. I knew stairs wasn't an option so I got one of these wood bedside ramps and I absolutely love it. I like the ribbed carpet that covers it and that makes my dogs feel more secure when using it. I like how it is angled to run the length of my bed and having a tall bed isn't an issue since it has a height of 25 inches. It was very easy to assemble only took me a few minutes and all hardware for assembly was included. It is very easy to keep clean and I can easily move it into our living room during the day so my dogs can have access to the couch if needed. The weight limit is 120 lbs so I dont worry about it tipping over when my dogs are running up and down. The only thing is on wood floors, it will slide as in our living room, but we use a blanket underneath it and this sovled the problem. As long as it helps my dogs and gives them the ability to continue living a easy life, it is well worth it. The item is simple to put together, just ensure that you organize the parts to prevent confusion. This is great- love how it could be a ramp or stairs. It could be a little higher with the ramp side, however the stairs work good for now with my little dog. I think the ramp is great if they have hip issues just like I said could be a little higher like the stairs are. The only thing I any not impressed with is that it only comes with one set of the sticky nonslip pads and they aren’t al that great at sticking to the bottom of the sides if you move it because of picking it up to clean the area underneath it- they call off. I wish this product would’ve came with either extra sets of those sticky nonslip stickers, or were already glued on to them legs and sides that would slide on the floor- better yet if they legs and sides were built with a nonslip think on them. Other then that love the stairs/ramp it’s very easy and doesn’t need anything assembling.Dani
These steps are not worth the price of free. They are incredibly cheaply made of thick cardboard, not even wood. The corner was broken off out of box, the legs do not clip on, it chips easily so when you pick it up they fall out. The "group" pads fall apart when you peel them off the adhesive, and so not stay in place. I will be returning it and would never buy it again.BB&B Customer
We bought these stairs to help our senior dogs. Our oldest is 13 pounds and 13 years old . Our youngest is 85 pounds and 7 years old. Our bed is high and the smallest dog wanted on and off the bed constantly. He is now able to get on and off by himself. The bigger dog use to leap onto the bed no problem. She is showing signs of struggle so we invested in these stairs! The stairs do flip to the other side as a ramp. But, I do not like the ramp as it is too steep! Both of the dogs refuse to use it! They will however use the stairs with no problems. I do recommend this product if using as stairs!!Yanna B

I have a 125 lb Anatolian Shepherd mix who recently had ACL surgery on her right hind leg. Since I have divided steps, I purchased 2 of these ramps as she cannot go up/down stairs for 3 months. These are great ramps. They are sturdy, do not bend or slip off the steps and have a non-slip surface. After just a couple of tries, she willingly goes up and down the ramps so I don't have to lift her. Well worth the money. Additionally, the order notice said I wouldn't receive them by Chirstmas but they came well before.ASDRescurer
my cat refuses to use this product although it looks find and fits the space to use it in the bedroom. I forced her to use it a couple of times and her (clipped) nails left scratches which I tried to brush out of the surface. Every way I tried to get the scratches out just added new marks that would not come out. I tried a micro cloth (poly) dry, with water, a soft and then a stiffer cleaning brush, dry and then wet, a chamois, a linen towel, terry towel, a hair dryer to get out the little particles left by some of the cleaning tools, a whisk broom used gently. The surface is now various shades of gray, whitish, and very mottled. I have no use for the ramp and nowhere to store it so I may list it for free on [@]; it is not returnable I assume. I had read that it was not easy to clean, but had not anticipated that a cat's claw would destroy it in a couple of attempted uses. Very disappointing. I purchased stairs elsewhere which my recently three-legged cat uses without a problem. I'm sure the ramp works fine for larger dogs who are fearless and outdoor use where one does ot care about how the product looks.Mary

We were excited to receive this ramp because we have a corgi and try to prevent her from jumping on and off furniture as much as possible. Unfortunately, the box arrived damaged, and the ramp’s legs are wooden, so there is a 12+ inch crack down one of the sides. It’s also awkwardly long for our bedroom and living room, so would recommend measuring your space when deciding between a ramp or stairs. On the plus side, it has a nice non-slip carpet over the surface, and the bottom of the ramp has 2 non-slip grips. This is a great solution for a 20-lb. Senior dog (who recently had some knee and leg issues) to have some autonomy with getting up and down his favorite living room sofa. This was a very disappointing purchase. As soon as it arrived on my front stoop I could tell that this unit had already been purchased, poorly repackaged, and resold without anyone ever bothering to fix the poor repackaging. Initially upon unboxing the item everything looked ok. Upon further review I found a huge crack in one main sidewall of the ramp at what would be the top of the ramp if it were in a raised position. It was then that I noticed that the ramp was made of plastic. Maybe I should have seen that in the specifications before buying. My guess is that a human genius walked on the ramp and broke it. Please be aware that this ramp is very big, it is almost as long as our king size bed, so ensure that you have the space to fit this ramp.
