The toy arrived in the bag but it did not “talk”. It was immediately replaced and the new one is great. There isn’t much padding between the mechanism and where the dog makes it talk so I’m not sure how long it will last. In the meantime my big dog is enjoying this talking dog a great deal. She is not destructive. It might not be suitable for dogs that chew heavily or destroy toys.cgbirdlover

Quick preface: I have a 6 month old Great Dane who is teething like a beast. My pup is not your average chewer so I research products and compare prices carefully. Cow pro's: Price can not be beat. Cow's body is well made and still mostly in tact. It's head is soft and stuffed. Inside the body, the moo-er takes up about 2/3 of the toy with stuffing filling out the rest, head included. Fabric has +/- 1/4" nap, just long enough for those tiny teeth in the front to grab and pull. Eyes and nose are stitched into the fabric. Cow con's: Cow's moo-er died almost instantly even though Frank the Tank was not rough yet.RaisingFranktheTank

I really wanted to leave a better rating for this. Have been a fan of the chuck it products for a while. After reading and watching a number of reviews where many stated this products durability I decided to pick it up for my boyfriends dog. Within the first 24 hours there was damage to the point the pet store offered a refund or exchange, I opted to try another one (after all many people mentioned how well made these were, clearly I just one with some slight defects-right?)Once exchanged we got some seriously enjoyable play. The design allows for an easy pick up, it is light weight. While it is more durable than some other balls, unfortunately we had just under a month of play before it was punctured and started to lose air. *Note- We keep this toy specifically for playtime, it is not one that would be accessed and chewed on. So the usage we had in this month would be relatively light. Used 3-4 days weekly within the monthallison.c

This ball is great in terms of how easy it is to kick however it is not durable at all. After a couple of days the stitching was already coming apart and after a couple of weeks it is destroyed. Super disappointed given the price I would have expected it to be more durable. My pup absolutely loves it so it sucks it didnt last long.Monique

I am going to keep this and give it as a gift. I'm pretty sure his dog will destroy it in a matter of minutes though. I think I could rip the plastic with my hands. It is really cute though. My dachshund loved this toy, but beware…it makes a VERY loud squawking noise. Unfortunately "Earl" only lasted a day before my dog ate his head off, and removed the inside squawker so I had to take the toy away. (In all fairness, my dog is a heavy chewer.)Scorpiogal

StarMark Bob-A-Lot Interactive Dog It's a treat dispenser and so durable even for my 105 pound monster jaws boy. It provides him with lots of enjoyment and me with amusement. It's a little pricey but I'll go broke if it makes my boy happy! He's worth every penny spent.anxiousang.h

We have the large one and it’s His favorite contraption! Probably because he gets treats out of it. I love filling this with treats and letting the pup go at it. He gets so involved and consumed in the treat dispenser it keeps him occupied for at least 15 minutes (that’s a long time for Gibson). It’s nice because you can adjust the size of the dispenser to make it easier/harder for the treats to come out. I love this product and use it just about everyday with Gibson.jacqueline.y

I bought this so my lab could work for his dinner. The product states it holds 3 cups. What it doesn't say is that only the small yellow cap opens and you would have to put 3 cups of food through a penny sized hole. I'll use it for small amounts of treats, it would take forever to get all his food through the small hole.hawaii-dreaming

My Carmine loves his Bumi. This makes number two for him. He had a horseshoe which was his favorite thing and these Bumi are a great replacement. We loves to bring it to me for a fling across the yard or a good game of tug tug. Some times he just wobbles it around by the center point like he’s really doing something. Well made. The opportunity presented itself for me to try out the Bumi dog toy, produced by West Paw. This particular toy is one of West Paw's newest dog toys. Bumi, makes an exceptional toy for tug of war. It is made of Zogoflex. Zogoflex is a strong, malleable material that is suppose to withstand unfavorable conditions. Those conditions being my dog's sharp teeth, his powerful grip, and his action in thrashing it all over the yard as he is playing. Well, I went outside and introduced him to the Bumi. He wasn't excited like I thought he would be. At first, that was disappointing. He would not play tug of war with me. Instead, he liked running and fetching the Bumi back to me. The Bumi is a light weight, "S" shaped, bouncy toy that is easy to throw for fetching. It also travels a bit further than most toys due to these traits. It is non-toxic, BPA and Phthalates free ( Phthalates is a chemical used to soften PVC plastics). These substances can cause damage to the kidneys, liver, lungs, and testes according to animal research. Not all dog toys are safe and I do not want to risk my dog's health for anything. The Bumi is made to be long lasting and safe for dogs to chew on. I like that he will fetch the toy because it requires him to get up and move. Exercise will be good for him and he is learning a few commands. I gave him a reward and that really motivated him to continue fetching. It looks like my dog will enjoy chewing on this toy for the most part. So far, it has held up well.When he puts his mouth on it, he grips it in the middle section, where it has a ball like shape. I suppose it's because this is the first time he has had a toy like this. Usually, he retrieves balls and other round toys so this toy is fun and easier for him to grip. This toy is made in the USA and it was made to last a long time. The chewing action is good for his gums and teeth. The Bumi floats in water and can be easily washed or placed in the dishwasher. Lastly, I was impressed with the fact that if the Bumi comes apart it can be returned to West Paw company for a new one. The West Paw Company made this toy so it can be recycled if returned. It's a great toy for my dog and with it being recyclable, it is good for us and our environment. I don't think a dog owner could go wrong in purchasing this new innovative toy by West Paw.DD

Over the past 17 years, we've had 3 dogs and have bought hundreds of toys over those years. None of our dogs were very rough with their toys, so we've had 3 baskets full of gently used dog toys. All 3 dogs have since passed away, the last one in June of 2020. So, in September of 2020 we got a mini Goldendoodle puppy. Since we still had the 3 baskets full of toys that were in good condition from our other dogs, our new puppy, "Bowie" has had tons of toys to play with. The big difference is that Bowie is NOT gentle with his toys!! He is a power chewer who not only tears toys apart, he will actually consume the stuffing!! I've had to take every toy away from him after a day or two due to his weird appetite! I NEVER leave him alone with a toy. But there is one toy from that bunch that he absolutely loves and is still in excellent condition. So, thankfully, I was able to find the name of the company stamped into this toy, and I immediately searched the internet for the company West Paw (praying that it was still around). I was ecstatic to find their website, and there I saw his beloved toy – the "Bumi"!!! I was also surprised to see it listed as a toy for gentle chewers! I saw that almost all the reviewers mentioned that their dogs were more like Bowie – power chewers. The other thing about the Bumi is that it makes Bowie do the Zoomies all around the house whenever he plays with it. It makes him crazy! So, the added benefit is the exercise he gets when he plays with it, and there is still not a single bite mark on it! Huge favourite. Our lab loves to parade with a soft toy (or a stolen sock in the absence of toys), to carry the toy around and occasionally play with the squeaker. This was an instant favourite, she absolutely loves it and often brings it on her walks. Not sure how it would hold up to chewing and tearing but if your dog just loves to carry around soft toys then this is the ideal size and shape.Ana P

Our pup had lost his favorite stuffed frog and this was the closest we could find to the original. He loves it and even though a year had passed he plays with this the way he did his first one. Its so funny as he doesnt take to any other stuffed animals at all lolwithwingsyoucanfly

Our dog absolutely loves this toy. She's a little labradoodle, but probably not the best for those who like to rough house because she's kind of ripped his head apart. She loves The squeakers and he's actually bigger than you think. Very soft. Not good for a dog who likes to chew on their babies, but she does love it.Cara

Our Belgian Malinois is a heavy chewer but his barrett ball has survived intact for over a month where most of the other "indestructible" dog toys are shredded in a week. He spends hours working on it with little to no success. By far one of the best toys we've bought for him.Ben Ladd

Love this ball!! My Medium sized dog loves to play fetch but also loves to destroy any toy put in front of her, in minutes! Even ones that say they can’t be destroyed.

Penny, our teacup poodle, absolutely loves Zeus. She is so tiny that when she grabs onto Zeus her whole little head and body vibrates. I truly don't know who enjoys Zeus the most – Penny or all of us watching her bark, run after him or grab onto him and shake him with all she's got. Our labs chews all her toys and tennis balls never last. The Kong toys also get chewed quickly. These ball are her favorite and have held up great with her. She loves them and we have purchased several packs now to have when she loses one.H.E.D.C.

Our dachshunds love these toys. We have different sizes (small are better for these dogs) but they bounce all over the place. Watching the dogs trying to chase these & follow them is like Mike Gatting & Daryll Cullinan facing Warney – they have no clue !!!Dave

Make no mistake, this is a, tough, very good quality product and the Dogs seem to like it, however, on grass this flies and bounces as a normal ball and other Canine owners have even suggested that it is even flies on a truer line, it also does not fit easily into my Chuckit launcher I have tried it on a hard surface but still no particular deviation in direction. Green was probably not a great choice of colour for an outdoor dog toy. In summary, I will not be buying any more but the dogs still play with the ones I have…. mainly to chew on. We have an 85lb pittie that has an insatiable appetite for fetch, but isn't super great at the release part. We saw these used by a trainer we follow on social media & they are exactly what we needed! We ordered the 1st pair in Feb 2020 & they work precisely as advertised – the teeth "dent" the rings but don't puncture it. We just ordered a 2nd pair because our pup did end up chewing through one – but that was our fault. As advertised, these are NOT a chew toy and they are fairly easily destroyed if you allow them to be used as such. But somehow, they are still durable enough for a game of tug! Our pup is now OBSESSED with his rings! The pair is perfect as he brings one back & immediately drops it when he sees the 2nd one in your hand. Perfect toy for fetch, jumping & tug!Wanda

Best toy for agility and speed! Great if you want your dog to loose some weight or release some energy quickly. I have bought so many toys…and I have to say that the simplicity of this toy is what makes it great. This is my dog's favorite toy and I love it too! If your dog is very smart more likely these rings are perfect for you. Great for bonding and for learning new tricks like jump! Leave it, bring it, drop it, tag, go get it Like the packing says keep the game short so they keep wantig more! My dog loves it because I make it all about speed. For example, she need to bring one ring to me and as soon as she brings it she has to go catch to other! I use excitment and a fast tone on my voice. Once she brings it back I have another ready so she needs to jump and get it. In another interval she needs to tag and leave it and then catch the other in my other hand. You can make this rings as fun as you want! I only have 2 but I think 3 will be better for more game options. I am thinking to buy another one soon. The teeth marks do stay on the rings but it is not a big deal. Sometimes it seems it gets stuck a little in my dogs teeth but it is for a milisecond! And it doesn't seem to bother her really. I actually think that if the rings would be of a harder material most likely dogs wouldn't like them, but maybe they could improve this a little. I have wash them and they have lasted for a long time. Yes there are marks, but it doesn't take away the purpose of the rings! Hope this review helps you!Jim

great dog toy, checks all the boxes: durable, ring allows for long rolls for dog to chase/ grab while still moving (giving him that paw-eye coordination as opposed to picking up a ball that has stopped moving), easy to use/ throw and it FLOATS!!! we often find ourselves at the beach and it always shocks me at how many dog toys do not float (I understand not everyone lives by a body of water, but its just one of those things that all dogs will end up in, so a toy that doesn't float just isn't thinking ahead). my dog is really good at catching Frisbee's but someone once told me that dogs can hurt their legs by landing weird after jumping for a thrown Frisbee, this puller toy is the perfect substitute, you can throw it so it rolls along the ground and the dog can chase it, giving him the same tracking action as a Frisbee, but without him leaving the ground. the toy is also very durable, my dog destroys everything and this is one of the few toys that he really loves that can actually last a while (he loves this thing so much he would chase it into a burning building), it is so durable that we can play tug with it as well, his favorite game to play (tho I try not to too much, even tho he loves to play tug more then anything, the toy will eventually brake and trying to re-teach a dog to drop something after he's come to expect a game of tug to get it from him can be very difficult). Can't recommend this toy enough, get this and get out there and have some fun with you best pal.Beth

It’s great for throwing, especially indoors because of its soft rubber. The size is great, easy enough for him to carry it around and for me to grab the other end to play tug of war. He’s a chewer and we are so thankful to have your toys—he cannot destroy them. Purchased and received your blanket the other night. Chewed a big hole in it the first day. $35.00 down the drain. They say you can have an item replaced but if you no longer have your purchase information your out of luck if your pooch does destroy a toy like our situation. Otherwise the other toys are great.
