Although the Lucy & Co harness fit her, all of the fasteners were just too massive for her small frame. She wouldn’t even stand up after I put it on her. i love this harness so much. it’s my first ever from lucy and co, and it’s the best i’ve used! i love that it’s sturdy but lightweight because i’ve tried others that are way too thick, and in florida that’s not the most ideal , or even in a cold climate if your dog is going to be active. i love that it’s reversible it’s perfect for fall and winter! can’t wait to flip it to the green side for christmas! The strap that clips in was crooked and was rubbing against my dogs armpits. The neck part was too wide looking. I have a corgi and he didn’t look comfortable. I really love this harness. The graphic is so perfect, as we love kayaking and camping. I was nervous the color wouldn't look good with my pup's coloring due to the similarity, but it looks so good! I've tried numerous harnesses and never loved any until this one. I have a miniature rat terrier who is 13.5 lbs. He tends to be too big for mediums and way too small for large sizes. Finally, this harness fits perfectly in Medium! There's even a little room to spare in case he gets larger. We wanted to take off pressure from his neck and the v neck design and light weight, soft mesh is great! It's by far the softest one I've ever felt, and I've tried every one at multiple stores. It's so comfortable that it could be left on all the time even in summer since it's so breathable. My dog lives it too! He seems to feel safe and calmer in it like a thunder shirt makes him feel. The first time I took him on a walk he seemed to feel "free". He was so happy to pounce around without worrying about a jerk in his neck. We give this one 5 stars!!!! I got this in black, size medium from Amazon. She has a 12" neck and a 19" chest. This harness is adjustable around both neck and chest. My pup has a high chase drive and will sometimes pull suddenly. I like that the x-shape doesn't put as much pressure on her throat when she pulls, and the double d-rings and buckle closure feel very secure for her leash. This is a good product. It is a really long harness so it bunches up in the middle when my dogs sit and when we are walking sometimes. The quality of the material is good and I do not feel like they are going to pull out of the harness. I do have an issue with the sizing chart. What a fantastic harness! My 90 pound dood is a consummate outdoorspoodle and now he can pack his own water, snacks, and frisbee thanks to the bungee cord feature. The harness is wonderfully customizable. I have a Huge, deep chested giant pal who is wearing the 2-3X size. The straps are incredibly adjustable at the shoulder, neck, and across the girth to fit a wide variety of pup shapes. The material is extremely durable, seems to resist staining (I give it a quick rinse when my mudpuppy has really had fun), and most important, the harness is lightly padded for comfort. My pal literally jumps for joy when he sees it because he knows he's off on an adventure. I also love the bright yellow which pops at night when we are out exploring. I got the dark purple and they are beautiful. I have two Crocker Spaniels. Both girls have a wide chest but a short back so they can be difficult to get things to fit correctly. These work great if you need a little room to play with the size because the top closes with velcro and then a clasp. If you're dog pulls these feel really solid. Overall they are well put together and the colors are eye catching. When I take both girls to the dog park in their matching harnesses I always get asked about where I got them and what colors do they have!!
I have 4 of these harnesses from a few years ago and loved them. I decided to order 2 more… Unfortunately the new ones all gape at the neck terribly! Even pulling it back more so it’s flat on the neck first doesn’t work as it won’t close the Velcro and then the arm holes rub under the armpits. I realized they changed the arm holes slightly (by overlaying it onto my old ones) and it’s thrown off the whole pattern. They are now useless. So Disappointing since all else is perfect- quality, price, patterns. Try the “Wrap & Snap” instead, it fits great and is nice for summer as there’s no extra fabric on the back.Dog Mom

My mini dachshund Louis is always between sizes for these types of harnesses. Usually, the neck is too tight on the smaller sizes (XS) and the body can't be tightened enough if I size up to small. I was worried the harness might not fit my 7lb Yorkiepoo (he's very skinny, but healthy!) and after to speaking with them, I decided to give it a try though I suspected it might be a little too large based on their feedback. When I got it, I loved the look and feel, they're really soft and feel comfortable, and the space pattern is my absolute favorite. Unfortunately it was just a little too large around the waist and neck for my pup because he's very small. They were super helpful with my return and even sent me an email follow up that they will certainly take my feedback into consideration and perhaps create an extended size range in the future! But once they create an xs size, I'm buying immediately!!Katrina K.

I have a 9lb Havanese. His neck is 9” and chest is 15”. He was in between a XS and a Small. I ordered the small, and it fits great. It’s loose enough for him to wear it all day and be comfortable but still fits snug enough to make it secure for walks. I love the pattern and that it’s reversible, plus it’s extremely high quality material. The red Buffalo plaid side was a little darker than I was expecting. The colors look much brighter in the pics, but overall, it’s a great harness and I’m super happy with the purchase!Monica
